I love the idea of Harry being spoiled by draco. Draco, who treats him like the most valuable treasure in the world and indulges him with luxuries Harry never got to experience.

Draco is fully aware that Harry can provide for himself but imagine drarry in a muggle jewelry shop, dracos hand on the small of Harry's back and telling him to pick whatever he wants. Harry immediately goes looking at one glass case to the other and picking out whatever catches his eye

the jeweler is just wide eyed and shocked at the PILE of rings, necklaces and anything sparkly dumped onto the tray

They shed a small internal tear as he watches Harry look up at draco with big doe eyes, kissing him innocently on the cheek. as if he knew that draco didn't have the ability to ever be mad at his precious angel.

The jeweler has never been more envious of anybody in their entire life.

“So. What’s it like?”

Draco shrugs. “Doing what you do. With the people you meet.”  

“I mean...what’s there to say? You meet someone, you take them out to lunch or dinner, then you decide that if you like each other enough, maybe you’ll go to a club or a dive bar. You make the other person feel special and taken care of. Then you go back to their place, fuck, and then, well...wonder how long you have to lie there before you can go home.”

Draco splutters, slapping a hand against his chest. “I’m sorry... that’s what goes through your head after fucking someone?”

“Yeah, most of the time. I tell them I have things I need to do...early meeting...or work to get to. Then, to end the whole ordeal on a sweet note, I give them a kiss on the forehead.”

“That’s your modus operandi?”

Harry shrugs.

“Oh, wow, you’re not joking,” Draco says faintly.

“How long do you like to be held?” Harry asks, teasing. Draco’s cheeks pinken. “I bet you like to be held all night.”

“You’re a fucking pig, Potter,” Draco says, ducking his head and taking another swig from his glass.

“I just like things how I like them,” Harry says.

It's pretty interesting that you're someone who has to deal with rich white male dickheads in real life (🫂), but you're fond of the fictional ones, while also having a uniquely non-sugarcoating view of them. The epitome of "if my blorbo were real I'd hate him" I guess :p

Haha, well as I've said, that Tom and Draco take each other out of the dating pool is one of the ship's strongest points. I still write an idealised version of what they would be like as people. Even the most hardcore "i can fix him" Draco girlie would falter if the way he spoke about women out of earshot was accurately portrayed.

I can't fully let go of my pegasus/draco ship bc their contrasting personalities/backstories go so well together.

Pegasus is a poised and refined man who's childishly stuck in the past and refuses to move on while living in a literal fantasy world. Draco is just some guy you'd meet at the grocery store who has a healthy relationship with all 3 of his teenage children despite his own grief.

I think they should kiss.
