I'm tired of people saying Rhaenyra is a spoilt daughter and that Viserys was a good father to her. While he had his good moments, He was emotionally distant if not absent, and neglected her and her needs.

Rhaenyra's real love story was with Harwin Strong and nothing will change my mind. They only gave us a single episode with few shots of them, not even together as a couple, and they still let us see more love than you can see with Daemon.

Rhaenyra and Daemon isn't love, that's passion, loyalty, and fond, but not love. Their true loves were different. But hey, since HBO played games, took relationships away from us and changed everything, I'm not surprised what these guys want to give us as love :D

both mothers turning their backs on those kids with no regards for what would happen to them so they can get what they want , again

If the HOTD writers absolutely wanted to include scenes of Rhaenyra with a female character who isn't part of the Targaryen family, why didn't they include more scenes between Rhaenyra and Elinda.

You know someone who gives a real fuck to Rhaenyra, her marriage, her children, her crown. A person who has been there through the worst of times (her years at King's Landing, her miscarriage), the best of times (her years of marriage to the love of her life, her life at Dragonstone, seeing the children grow up far from the toxic atmosphere of the capital. Children she truly loves). Who knows the real needs of the small folk of King’s Landing.

Instead we had all those nauseating scenes with Mysaria.

Another missed opportunity to make Rhaenyra a great Queen and a positive female character in season 2 and a waste of screentime.

The way I see people (TBs) getting pissy Sunfyre is the most beautiful dragon makes me laugh. I guess in their eyes only Rhaenyra and her following can have pretty or unique dragons.

I also see them say that Syrax is gonna kick ass and it makes me laugh more. Honey Syrax is literally said to be a spoiled dragon who didn't even fly if it wasn't good weather and you think she's gonna win a fight again Vhagar? Yeah no girl doesn't even hunt let alone know how to fight another dragon especially one as big as Vhagar.

rhaenicent being made canon—or even implied—is a travesty. it completely ignores how these two women have hurt each other.

was alicent aged down just for this dynamic? was her status as a child bride, her trauma, the fact her children are conceived through marital rape, just an after thought? why must her entire world revolve around rhaenyra? why must she sacrifice her family—the family she fought for, the family she so deeply loves, the family she literally attacked rhaenyra for—just to appease rhaenyra?

why would rhaenyra want anything to do with the woman who aided in the usurpation of her throne? who’s son murdered her own? the woman who refused a peaceful end to the war (however poorly written that damn septa scene was)? why must rhaenyra demand another son’s head when her insane husband already had alicent’s grandson brutally murdered? the debt has been paid.

it makes the characters inconsistent. the meetings between the two characters in season two were unnecessary. the parallels they force are unnecessary. the character assassination is unnecessary and tragic. if the media you consume has no problem forcing two characters together at the expensive of their characterization, it isn’t representation. it isn’t a good ship. it’s a poorly written fanfic. it is a cash grab.
