Anyway I love platonic reynico they’re one of my fav found family tropes in the series

Nico and Reyna meet up in each other’s dreams often (usually Nico goes to hers)

Even though Reyna is in the hunters I think she still tries to meet up with Nico every once in a while and the two go out for brunch to NYC

Reyna insists on getting friendship bracelets

“Reyna no offense but that’s like really cringey and I didn’t pin you to be the type to get friendship bracelets”

“Yeah I’m not the type but like. The vibes, Nico. They’re immaculate.”

So after a lot of insistence they get the bracelets and neither of them actually wear it but they like to keep it around when they think of each other ❤️

Nico is so fucking rich bro so they randomly send like such expensive but sweet jewelry to Reyna every once in a while to like the Waystation and Reyna is touched but also she’s like “WHAT THE FUCK THIS COST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS?? WHERE DID THEY GET THIS FROM??” And Nico’s only response is that they stole from his dads palace LMAO

Nico is a part of the Art Hoes TM which we have all established performs lots of devious stealing schemes and even though Reyna isn’t around a lot and probably doesn’t like what they do she still helps provide cover

They’re both equally strong so like every time they go sparring it gets so boring because neither of them are able to win

I MISS BABY NICO’S PERSONALITY SM ... which is why i propose that whenever one of his friend’s see his eyes sparkling and arms waving while he babbles abt whatever topic, they think it’s really cute !!!! like !! keep talking !! 

 he gets embarrassed when he sees his friends smiling at him but it kinda makes him a bit teary eyed bc it’s been so long since he was able to talk abt his interests without being shut down / forcing himself to keep quiet because he felt like he was being too childish/annoying

5. the lost hero, this was pre-cool jason, i loved all the characters but didn’t really vibe with the plot, only reread it so i can get in to the other books

4. the son of neptune, the trio and friendships in this is just 💕💕✨❤️ has my daughter hazel in it, frank being an actual angel, hazel calling nico a scrawny white boy. REYNA in all her glory, and of course perseus jackson himself. 9/10 not enough nico

3. mark of athena, the beginning of cool jason! ANGSTY, nico getting kidnapped was heartbreaking and i loved it, finally getting to see romantic percabeth, leo being annoying but hilarious, percabeth falling into tartarus is terrifying but also SO GOOD, nico is son boy, the HAZEL, percabeth cuddling in the stables🥺

2. the blood of olympus, nico and reynas point of view, getting to hear nicos thoughts and feelings was just *chefs kiss*, learning more about reyna, platonic reynico is magnificent, not enough percabeth, but i enjoyed getting to focus more on other characters, piper kicks ass, leo simping over calypso, jason being jason, reyna kills the living embodiment of sexism and im so proud of her, a little bit of theyna and solangelo content❤️

1. the house of hades, dark and angsty, i vibed with that. percabeth in tartarus, annabeth being a queen, dark!percy, percy poisonbends and kills a literal goddess, bob the titan, small bob, a million percabeth kisses, annabeth! with! a! sword! I REPEAT! ANNABETH WITH A SWORD! jasiper was cute in this one even though i dont really ship it, leo, nico!! son!!! The Angst™ was beautiful, nico remains a smartass and completely smokes leo in like, the first page, HAZEL, just everything about her!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH ITS RIDICULOUS, nico comes out and its horrifying and terrible but one of the best parts of the book, did i mention hazel yet? her... “bob says hello.”

disclaimer: this is my opinion don’t hate heheh OTPS true love plz perachel /rachelxpercy:this ship is so underrated. I understand that percabeth is obviously the main ship of pjo, but,,, Rachel and Percy had so much chemistry. Rachel understood Percy, and he believed in her, and they’re so cute like please course this is my like #1 otp pipabeth/ piper Annabeth: again they just had so much chemistry. I like that riordan included their friendship. But I think they would be a cute couple. They work well together, and literally formed a bond that they can practically read each others minds with. valdangelo / nicoxleo: this one honestly has nothing in canon to back it up, I just think it’s cute. I think they had the potential to bond over a lot of things and understand and relate to each other really well. PLATONIC PAIRINGS I have so many of these lol lazel leo&hazel: they had such a cute friendship. hazel really saw Sammy in Leo. I think they could have had more potential as friends. REYNICO reyna&nico: they worked together flawlessly and were able to make it across continents together. they flowed with each other and I think Nico really saw Reyna as another older sister. valgrace leo&jason: riordan mentions a billion times that they’re best friends, but,,, they didn’t really have much development. I think they could have been real best bros and I think I would really enjoy their friendship. FRALEO frank&leo: SO underrated like,,, ahhhh they could have been so close. They kinda opposed each other because of their relationships with hazel but I think they could’ve really supported each other. PERCABETHHHHHH percy&annabeth: platonic percabeth please. they were besties they could have been best friends. They were. we never got to see them as true friends, because when they got into a relationship it was kissed and overprotectiveness and no friendship. I want to see them as the CLOSEST FRIENDS in the world. aghhhh I just got overenthusiastic!! :3333 I hope you enjoyed -syd ;)
