As Zenitsu hardens and becomes less cowardly, he's much easier to work with. You two become so in tune with one another's fighting styles that you often get sent on missions as a pair.

— Zenitsu throws sobbing fits when you get sent on different assignments, worrying the whole time you're apart. What if you tripped and he wasn't there to catch you? What if you got lost and couldn't find your way back to him? He'd die alone!

— Your reunions are always teary (mostly him crying and you stand there confused as to why he's so upset) and snuggle-filled.

— I don't think he'd realize you're blind at first, which I think is fucking hilarious. He's always so confused about why you're missing certain cues and showing no reaction to his body language. He's gotten all up in your face several times just for you to stare at him with a blank expression. Finds you intimidating because of it and backs off.

"(butchered name) is so cool... I CAN'T STAND IT!"

— And then when it clicks that you can't see, he's facepalming so hard. You're not cool you're just blind and can't tell when he's provoking you. No matter, he'll just have to spell it out for you next time.

— If you're a slayer, Inosuke has a great deal of respect for you being able to kick demon butt despite your handicap. Then he thinks you're cool again :)))

— You'll notice that Inosuke holds onto your clothes a lot. Clutches your sleeve and tugs you around, or hangs onto your haori/kimono when you're out and about. He might not seem like the type to be a worry wart, but he is aware that your blindness makes you more vulnerable than others and is determined to be your eyes for you as often as he can. It's an unspoken thing.

— Has some slip-ups where he points at things and says "WOAH LOOK AT THAT!" only to see the strained expression Tanjiro's giving him and your blank one. "Oh right sorry."

— Prepare to be yanked out of the way by the wrist/clothing when danger comes your way. He might not be the most gentle about it, but he doesn't want you to get hurt.

— Kyojuro is insanely protective of you. Always has an arm locked with yours at all times to guide you around safely, it's subconscious at this point.

— Obviously, he can't always be there to help you since his Hashira work keeps him away for long periods, something he regrets deeply. He reminds you to always be careful when you have to part ways, and makes you promise not to do anything too dangerous while he's away.

— Oftentimes entrusts you with Senjuro, who is more than happy to be your eyes when Kyojuro can't. Though sometimes even his father can be seen guiding you around the house, looking all soft-like, not that you can see the gentle expression on his face. Kyojuro's heart swells in his chest at the sight of his family taking such good care of his partner.

— He'll bite his tongue if you're a slayer, though even you can tell he wants to say something sometimes. It's not that he finds you to be weak, he's just terrified of losing you. Training loads with him will put his heart at ease a little, being able to see firsthand just how capable you are despite being sightless. He really shouldn't be surprised, Gyomei was blind just as you are, and is the strongest of the Hashira.

— Kyojuro is always placing your hands on his face and kissing your palms, grinning from ear to ear when he makes you giggle successfully.

if bug and jon were to have gotten together, it wouldve been during season 1. i truly think that had steve not interrupted their moment on the porch, right when theyre about to kiss after saving will, then this wouldve been the start of everything. i intentionally had steve interrupt them for this reason btw <3

at this time in come home, steve doesnt necessarily have an all encompassing crush on bug/loves her. hed probably just be confused that bug and jon are just now kissing ??? like wtf i thought yall were already together :/ but i also see him being a bit upset, some underlying jealousy that he doesnt quite understand. hed resent jonathan for taking so long, ironically enough. steve would still become best friends with bug and hed still be at her beck and call at bookstrordinary. only thing that changes is that jonathan now accompanies them.

nancy would go back to steve and theyd have the same arc as they do in season 2. only i think the halloween party scene would be fueled by nancys resentment towards bug (because bug has everything she wants - jonathan, the kids, steves affection). she would call her relationship with steve bullshit because she sees how bug and jon are and she knows that the love she has with steve isnt real. steve and nancy wouldnt be able to compare to bug and jon, and it infuriates nancy because she just wants someone to love her how jonathan loves bug.

in saying this, nancy and bug dont become friends. bug is all for it, she does really like nancy, but nancy cant. she lost jonathan to her in a confusing and dizzying manner.

steve slowly clings onto bug when he and nancy break up. bug stays with dustin and dart still while jonathan and nancy go to murray, and its this point that steve realizes his crush on bug. itd be his first time spending time with only bug and no jonathan. i think hed have the same panic bug had when she realized she liked steve in season 1. he would immediately pull away, he doesnt want bug to ever think hed betray her trust like that.

bug would be sad, but she would assume its because of nancy, and she'd leave him alone.

bug and jonathan are the annoyingly happy and content couple everyone hates. theyre so easily happy with the other, everything lovely and tender. theyre a bit creepy, tbh. jonathan will hand bug water without her having to say anything and bug would grab jon a pen the second he wants to draw. their unspoken communication grows even more, to the point that el genuinely thinks they share her powers for a second lmao.

season 3 i think maybe theyd argue over bug maybe losing her job due to the mall and jon and his annoying bosses. maybe he complains about his lack of real photography opportunities and bug is like ???? dude im about to lose my job pls read the room. i think this fight would cause bug to run to steve at scoops because she doesnt really have any other friends and she misses him - and this is how she gets stuck in the russian lair !

steve and bug bond some more while trapped. steves crush on her intensifies and shes oblivious to it, though robin sees through steve immediately lmao. during the bathroom stall scene, its the same except robin urges steve to confess his feelings for bug and bug is just there like wow wonder who we're talking about ! anyways i love my bf very much i miss jonathan :(

reunite scene. jon was so worried about bugs sudden disappearance and i think honestly this only strengthens their relationship. steve sees their reunion and he stands next to nancy, the two of them watching you and jonathan with regret and longing.

season 4 the byers move and bug is genuinely heartbroken. its a whole new type of pain, and because steve is a masochist, he helps her. he practically becomes the new jonathan. spending all his time with bug, always willing to wipe her tears, and bug truly thinks its because hes a good friend. never would she imagine hes in love with her. jonathan still pulls away as he does in canon. he wouldnt tell bug he never applied to nyu, and she becomes really anxious and insecure.

see season 4 i can see this spinning into a "hooray ! steve and bug together now !" really easily. steve becomes bugs only form of comfort tbh. hes there when jonathan isnt, but at the end of it all, jonathan is bugs first true and real love, and i dont think she'd ever be able to forget him and see steve in any capacity besides a friend.

season 4 would just be steves quiet acceptance season. he loves bug with everything, but she doesnt love him. and hes ok with it, because at least shes his friend, right ? at least she calls him a silly name and holds his hand when he gets scared.

Illyastak lowers his heavy bolter, listening out for the voice again past the gunshots. Maybe one of his brothers was in trouble. He knew splitting up was a bad idea.

Through the fog and the flies he sees something approaching, he can feel its heavy footsteps through the torn ground. Fuck, thats not one of his brothers. Not anymore at least.

Insects fly into his visor and he fires his bolter wildly in front of him, before the fire rate can climb much he's almost knocked onto his back. Something is grabbing at him, smelling like rot and honey.

"Eli! Eli hi!"

Oh he recognises that voice. How can it be the same? After thousands of years, after this?

"Chryses?" Illyastak croaks.

"Brother! I found you!" Chryses is squeezing him tightly. Flies- no- bees are crawling over them both. "I found you" he breathes, burying his head into Illyastak's breastplate.

Illyastak slowly, shakily, wraps his arms around his brother. The sensors in his gauntlets are telling him theres something fuzzy growing between the plates of Chryses' armour, and he can feel delicate, papery wings flutter under his hands. He pulls away. What is that? Is it the bees or is Chryses himself all furry now?

"It's been so long! I'm so sorry it took so long. But we're together now! And that's what matters, right Eli?" Illyastak can hear the smile under his helmet. Stepping back he looks over his old brother. Chryses is, in fact, sort of furry. Something wiry is growing between the ceramite plates, and one of his eyes seems to have burst out of his visor and is now growing around it. Illyastak wonders if he can even take it off like that. It's a compound eye too, like an insect's.

"Yeah, right, were together now" He forces the words through his shock.

"Don't worry, were alone here - at least i am - so we can catch up right?"

"Well, there was the whole Heresy. You know how that went,"

"I'm so sorry you weren't with us on the Terminus Est. Really. I thought you were somewhere else in the fleet. I didn't know you were there at Istvaan" Chryses reaches out, and Illyastak steps away again. "I'm so happy you're ok though! Now you can finally join the family!"

"Join the family?" Illyastak's disgust makes it through the rebreather implant and the vox caster. "I don't want to be like you. I'm not giving up my soul,"

"Ok, ok, I know it looks pretty gross from the outside, but trust me, this is like the best decision I've ever made! Look at how strong i am now! I could live through anything!"

Illyastak remembers the tine of his old friend. This is how Chryses used to talk after not having slept for days at the apothecarium. Or after spending hours helping his brothers clean the mud out of their guns only for it to find its way back minutes after planetfall. That was his "just keep smiling" voice.

"I'm sorry our father did this to you" His tone softens, it wasnt Chryses' fault. Mortarion- that traitor- had sold their souls away. Sold his brother away.

"What? No! He saved us! You don't know how awful it was Eli. We burnt through years worth of narthecium in days. There were men collapsing in the halls. All our baselines died, there was nobody left to clean. I'd never felt so weak before. Mortarion saved us. He made us strong again. I dont even feel things that would've killed me before!"

Bile rises in Illyastak's throat. When he saw the Terminus Est come out of the warp on terra, he knew in his heart his brothers weren't really inside. Whatever took the ship must've killed them. This thing that laughs and calls him an old nickname, it cant be Chryses. Not even Chryses could smile through this. He- it- is like one of the Overlord's spawn he'd seen on Barbarus. Hollow, a mockery, a violation of something he loved.

"He should've let you all die" Illyastak's voice is cold.

"Even me?" Chryses sounds so small.

"No- well-"

"I thought you missed me too. I thought you were also looking," The bees start to swarm around Illyastak again, clouding his vision. Their droning almost drowns out Chryses' parting words.

I feel like my Denali headcanons differ so vastly from happy, maybe I'm getting more sadistic... but you know when you go to family/friend reunions and talk to people with smiles but the second you stop you want to roll your eyes or you silently get irritated at the forced proximity?

Its not to say there is no love for one another but I mean, if you want to criticize how Carlilse thinks being a vampire condemns him to hell and then continues turning people, I mean I can at least make the argument that he was saving someone's life in a sense. But Sasha turned Tanya because she was in some way related and she wanted the company of another female. Tanya was from what we know okay with the transformation so I could see that she probably learned whatever language Sasha grew up with. I could also see Tanya not necessarily teaching Kate or Irina and wanting to keep something special between Sasha and herself.

I think Tanyas transformation changed something in Sasha, I think the curiosity of living with another vampire changed into a desire she may not have known she had originally. I think she wanted to become a mother. Maybe even felt like she was robbed of that chance like Rosalie feels. So a hundred or so years pass and they come across Kates caravan and they stop to feed. Sasha sees Kate is loyal, willing to die to protect the person she was assigned to most likely knowing it was useless, she also sees Kate bears a striking resemblance to Tanya and you know what? Tanya could use a sister right? This is where things a bit awry. Keep in mind none of these girls are children except maybe Irina, I cant check they took away the free online book I was using as reference 🥲 anyways. I just cant buy that all three women again, except maybe Irina, who grew up with families and lives were just happy with Sasha taking them away simply because they look related. All of this is to say, I dont think Kate ever shared her language with anyone until Garett. I also think that she stayed with Sasha and Tanya because, where the hell else was she going to go. Even though she was in her twenties I could see Sasha and Tanya treating her like a grumpy teenager. And Kate probably doesnt mind the label. Her and Tanya probably fight quite a bit, until she develops her powers. Then I think they just leave Kate to her devices.

Then comes Irina. Irina is supposed to be a peasant girl from a farming village, so I could see her maybe really attaching herself to the family story she gets shoved down her throat. I think Kate being so short and probably the actual younger sibling gets Kate to come out of her bubble. Irina brings out a protectiveness in both of the other sisters and it brings to a more neutral state, at least in the sense that they can be in the same room without hurling remarks at eachother. They absolutely know her native tongue just to make the transition easier. I do think once Sasha is punished by the volturi they stick to one language, and since they settled in Alaska they probably learned some Inuit and English. I do think in order to flirt with Laurent, Irina tried to speak french but her accent was pretty strong and thats why Laurent found her endearing

I think since these kinds of vampires cant sleep (which sounds so miserable pls) I think they probably pick things to learn about so I'm sure they are fluent in more than one language even if it may be hard to bring to memory. When it comes Carmen and Eleazar I think the Denalis definitely knew enough spanish to probably communicate with them but with the world changing and Eleazar being in the Volturi, they were the ones to adapt how they spoke. But I feel like Carmen thinks out loud and mumbles when shes upset and most of the time, she does this in spanish.

1. do u think edward/riddler gets off (lol bad wording but u know what I mean hopefully) whenever y/n might have to come in and beat him up? because, he doesnt really use any fighting methods to get at his enemies, he uses brains and his smarts soo seeing his own enemy, close enemy btw, beat him up because he's a criminal is something I feel like he secretly enjoys. let's be real, HE MUST be liking it.

2. whenever he gets arrested or y/n manages to have gcpd come in to arrest him, he always hit her back with his taunts and riddles. I know we talked about how him taunting her is always a given, it's a thing he does with her. but when it comes to having him arrested, he's always looking back like "ohh we'll have one of our many reunions soon" and she's over here like "🙄😐 try me, Eddie, I dare u."

also! that's another thing, nicknames! now I dont really know any good superhero name for y/n as that hasn't been really discussed but I just knowww Edward is hitting back those nicknames for her. he also VERY much enjoys the whole "eddie" thing y/n has for him despite still being enemies. I feel as tho that nickname would stick with the both of them because of the whole "past" thing they had with eachother.
