i've said it before but it will forever and always make me insane that jacob's ending is to join the cullens for the sake of bella not having to give anything up. they find out jake will be immortal & tied to renesmee forever, so bella gets to smile & say "my family is finally complete! ^-^" but jake already HAS a family. he has a father and 2 sisters. quil, embry, seth and sam are like his brothers. jacob and leah were planning to run away together. he's always been welcome in emily's home, sue has been a family friend since before his birth. bella abandons her mortality by choice because she feels no connection to the people around her, but jacob has really strong bonds. it's clear that every character we meet in la push is like family to him, he's an active member of the community. jake would've graduated high school and been a mechanic, would've grown into a young man. a good friend, a fun uncle, a present son. he's set up to have such a rich life. and he's just magically compelled to give that up. beyond his control, he loses sight of everything, because his high school crush's baby is now the singular most important thing to him. he's perpetually 18 with his perpetually 18 year old girlfriend, running around vancouver or alaska or wherever with the girl who friendzoned him at 16 & her in-laws (who were antagonistic to him for months). and i'm just supposed to say omg yay now he doesn't have to let go of bella! everyone is happy! it's complete madness

my favorite interpretation is peeta is a very likable and kind dude in the mind of almost everyone who gets to know him. but he’s not the epitome of hope or goodness or all things wonderful to anyone else besides katniss. and she’s completely oblivious to this fact.

like she spends half of catching fire wondering which of his good qualities was motivating the other tributes to sacrifice themselves for him. even knowing she was the face and inspiration for all the uprisings, the fact that everyone — rightfully — thought she would literally die if she lost her fiancé doesn’t cross her mind at all. the fact that they may be keeping peeta alive for her is like nowhere in her head. her whole thought process at one point in the arena is literally “everyone must see how good peeta truly is, the way he’s so charming and charismatic and powerful with crowds-”

like girl, shut up. you’re completely head over heels in love with him. to everyone else, he’s just some guy.

I think this is a very important issue, and while I have gotten personal messages for specific aid I have gotten many scams on messages as well so I am sorry to those who are honestly struggling. Alright. There are a lot of politics surrounding this event, so much random bullshit that tries to obfuscate the simple fact that what is happening in Palestine is vile, and plainly wrong. When deciding whether or not you should step in and help, you must remind yourself that this isn't about the ''politics'' of the situation, this isn't about the bullshit arguing we make for 'both sides' whilst we sit safely within the confines of our homes - this is about humanity - Don't let people confuse you, or downplay the terrible acts that are happening. See your fellow person in trouble and help them when they're suffering, it's as simple as that.

Imagine how easy it is to spend $20 bucks on a subway sandwich and a side of chips, so instead of doing that, spend the equivalent helping people not die (or do even more!). I suggest you all spend some time donating, sharing with others and helping out where you can <3

Some thoughts before tomorrow's episode 13 of "Marry My Husband"

The Yura character — She wasn't introduced out of the blue. She'd been mentioned often enough and teased enough from the beginning that she was bound to show up. I figured it was going to be some kind of stunt casting because the show was hiding her face. Lost on me though, I have no idea who the actress is.

Yura is not in the webtoon — Yes. But she is in the webnovel, on which the series is actually based on. Whether she's the best character/plot the writers of the series could have picked up from the novel is debatable. But they definitely needed something for the leads after the wedding because in the webtoon, the focus pretty much shifts to Minhwan and Sumin's growing misery as well as Juran's domestic troubles.

Jiwon's reaction to Yura's appearance — OK, this is the part that has caused quite a bit of uproar. What I'm getting is that folks are confused, angry at Jiwon because Jihyuk and Huiyeon both explained he didn't cheat on her and yet she cut off the relationship just like that.

I agree this is about cheating, but I think folks may be looking at it wrong — Jiwon was looking at Yura as the one being cheated on, not her. That in this scenario, she, Jiwon, is the other woman. Like her mom who made the one-sided decision to cut off her relationship with her dad and leave them both, Jihyuk made the one-sided decision to call off his longtime engagement to Yura. This was underscored by the flashback at the beginning of episode 12, when young Jiwon comes across Dad sobbing as he watches Mom with another guy. "... no matter how long you endure, those left behind get hurt. No matter what the relationship is, once it's started, I don't think it's right for one person to end it one-sidedly."

Why didn't she listen to Jihyuk or Huiyeon? Because, like Jiwon said, everything sounded like an excuse. The hurt from long ago was blocking all logic for her. Plus, I don't think she really had time to process because they were immediately hit with the whammy that is Manager Yang's cancer diagnosis. There's that whole "oh shit, I transferred my miserable fate to one of my favorite people" mind fuck on top of all this.

Also, she doesn't know what a witch Yura is (hearing about it and seeing it for herself are very different things) . Once Jiwon out and then gets the reminder of how shitty her mom is, she goes to see Jihyuk. Doesn't talk to him but it is a step toward him. I can't be mad at that.

Could this angst have been handled better? Absolutely, given how confused people got.

Anyway, this would all be resolved in tomorrow's episode, I feel. Preview shows Jiwon by Jihyuk's side at the hospital. Don't think she'll be stepping back after that and we'll get our power couple in action again soon.

I saw a tweet that said one thing like oh here come Yoo Ra, Min Hwan and Soo Min, what useless characters. Just tell me you don’t like stories with conflict in them, which is a key part of a compelling narrative. The problem is some of y’all been raised on horrible fanfic where it’s just couples doing nothing but “sweet” stuff. Of course the drama is going to have antagonists. Jeezus.

It’s not a coincidence. But unless you want spoilers I can’t say any more. Ji wons mother literally could not have given birth to sumin because they are the same age, Sumin knows why Jiwons mother left. And that specific reason is why she befriended her I promise it has nothing to do with them being related at all. It’s literally impossible for them to be the same age, technically yeah sure it was possible but the mother would have been caught for cheating sooner. The dad didn’t cheat in telling you rn

Yes. And even if I didn’t a step sibling would have been mentioned by Jiwon. Her mom didn’t like kids as we saw in the last episode and she said herself that her dad died alone. Sumin dislikes her for a specific reason yes, but it’s because of something that hasn’t been revealed yet
