As a Kakyoin fan and artist, I'm doing my part in giving him a part 4 design 🫡 (OG ask) Throwing my headcanons at you and hitting you square in the face
Ramble under the cut
Noriaki is a successful gallery artist living with his "roommate" on Florida's Gulf Coast (I think the Tampa Bay area, specifically Bradenton, FL). They have a small bungalow near the water, Perfect for them, their office/studios, Jotaro's fish tanks, and Jolyne when she comes from her mother's during the holidays or for summer break. Jotaro is definitely a boat guy they have theirs parked on the side of the house and take it for a spin over at least once a month (or once a week when Jolyne is with them over the summer)
He still does missions for the SWF with Jotaro, but his day job is his art. He works in an abstract/contemporary style and his pieces are large and textural. Jotaro doesn't really get it but still supports his partner, Jolyne loves them though.
Also, he and Jotaro have matching wedding rings: platinum bands with emerald Inserts.
#I miss him#Oh my god they were roommates#I know the common headcanon is that Jotrao lives in Miami#But ive lived in Miami and he would hate it here#Its too loud and crowded down here#I think he would like living in the Tampa Bay Area more I feel in in my gut as a fellow Floridian#Also Its always weird for me to see my home town come up in a fic its like a slap in the face#like have they smelled the weed in bayside have they they been to palacio de los jugos have they been stuck in traffic on the 836 expresswa#Have they gotten lost in the maze that is hialeah have they had ironbeer have they beEN TO THE BASS PRO SHOP IN DOLPHIN MALL#Drives me nuts#Anyway I think Nori would love ironbeer#If your are ever in Miami go to a Cuban restaurant and get yourself an Ironbeer it life if rootbeer was good#Also yes Jotaro is a boat guy I say this with confidence coming from a boating family in Florida#Also also i doing the research for the skin grafts really got me I don't do well with medical stuff.#jojos bizarre adventure#jojo no kimyou na bouken#jjba#jjba part 4#jjba part 3#diamond is unbreakable#stardust crusaders#kakyoin#noriaki kakyoin#jotaro#jotaro kujo#jotakak#noritaro#artists on tumblr#my art#adri blabs

The Exclusive 2 for 2
Hello Sissy Poohs!
I know I need to be better about blogging but chilllllllle, between becoming a full time student, being a hot puppy mom, trophy girlfriend (just playing, but for real, I look good), and a better gym babe, not only am I tired, I'm actually super busy.
But as I said about two weeks ago, your favorite Sissy Pooh is back from being on Holiday in Miami.
Side note: after going to Miami, outside of a family trip, Miami is beautiful and we will be making multiple trips yearly.
While we were in Miami (or Fort Lauderdale), we went to a restaurant in Las Olas beach on our first double together.
I believe I have mentioned that I am Haitian and my boyfriend is Ghanian. One of his closest friends in South Beach is also Ghanian and dating a Haitian woman as well. What are the odds, right?
So we went to this Japanese styled restaurant, and when I say ambiance. The restaurant is called Takato, please check it out ladies.
What we enjoyed about it, as two former club goers (before we met each other) was the music, the low lights, open bar - it gave lounge vibe without all of the hookah and rift raft. Very classy, very exclusive, very expensive.
And it wasn't awkward at all. We all talked as a group, then the men left to go speak on the balcony while me and the other woman sat at the table and talked. I believe they started dating before we did, but my man and I moved in with one another much sooner.
We talked about expectations and speaking with our families because the Haitian parents don't like that. But it was an enjoyable experience.
The first question she asked me was how did I tell my family without it being a huge ordeal. I told her "Hold your horses, sissy pooh. This is not a familial matter, rather a parental matter".
In Haitian culture, your business is everyone's business. So I have learned to remove myself from conversations, group chats, video calls, etc, because the only person I really owe in an explanation to when it comes to my whereabouts is my mother. Don't get me wrong, my mother and I have come a long way when it comes to how I choose to share the more personal and intimate details of my life, but I think we are at a point where she respects it now. So I told her, I talked to my mom separately to let her know that she and my dad raised a very smart daughter and they did a good job (you have to gas them up in the beginning before dropping the bomb) and that we have plans to get engaged and married (which we have both conveyed to both of the parental entities on both sides of this relationship), and this is what works for us. My mother took it rather well, like I know she doe not agree with it, but I also know she would rather know where I am than be kept in the dark.
Her other concern was just the expectations. And I told her that this is the only man I have lived with and it's not difficult, it's just different. But this is where grace and patience comes in.
Overall, I liked homegirl, and that will not be our last double date as a couple. We also exchanged instagrams as well.
Back to the evening at hand: the restaurant, the food, the music, me, was marvelous. The conversations between both couples was great and it was nice to meet a young woman who is also in a serious relationship on the precipice of an engagement and marriage. I know I bring that up a lot, but something that I didn't realize with prioritizing my love life and heading towards a forever over a dating roster, as a young woman, it can be lonely too.
Sometimes I hold back on what I talk about with my girlfriends because I am the only one in this era that I am in, not because I don't trust them, but I don't want to sound like I am bragging or that I am not considerate of their situations. But I would like to talk about relationship stuff with girlies, not my deep business, but gift ideas, home ideas, trip ideas, double dates, etc.
Then we went to a rooftop bar where my man and I realized, we don't like places that are too spicy with too many people. We're on that out of sight out of mind, exclusive places. But overall it was a great night.
On our last day, we went to the airport and went to, I believe it was the sky lounge, due to us both having AMEX Platinum cards. It was nice, quiet, and comfortable. I refrained from taking my phone out to record content because something else I have realized, the more exclusive the area, the more ridiculous you look bringing your phone out to take pictures and videos. People purchase memberships into certain places for the exclusivity and to not see that. The sight of the calmness humbled me very quickly. So I enjoyed my brunch and coffee while he enjoyed brunch and his Old Fashioned.
Miami was fun, having an Amex is fun, my life is fun, But God is greater and the reason why my life is fun.
More of my adventures coming soon Sissy Poohs.
With Love,
Sarah Chanel

9/10 !!!!!! Salty but not as salty as the other dish !!! sooosososo good the meat was medium rare i think ? tasted so rich and buttery, and the rosemary was a nice touch but i don't think it added anything to flavor ! the appearance of it was also very appealing, and there were no bites that were "too tough" to chew through :) this was from the hotel restaurant !

World Coconut Day
Discover the tropical taste and versatility of this round, hairy fruit with a hard shell. From coconut water to oil, there's so much to love about them!
A popular fruit consumed around the world, the coconut is healthy and tasty, and it grows in tropical regions. World Coconut Day celebrates everything that has to do with this delicious and nutritious fruit!
History of World Coconut Day
Coconuts are a food that humans have found sustenance in for at least 2,000 years. Probably native to Indonesia, the name coconut translates to “walnut from India”. While coconuts would have traveled throughout the Indian subcontinent and even to Africa in the early years, they didn’t make it to Europe until some time around the 16th century.
It is likely that coconuts were introduced to Europeans through the Maritime Silk Road, which connected the East with the West. Marco Polo may have been one of the many travelers and explorers who would have brought coconuts back with them.
When the Asia Pacific Coconut Community (APCC) was founded in 1969, it was created in an attempt to help support and promote the tropical countries that are high in growing, producing, selling and exporting coconuts. Located in Jakarta, Indonesia, this group stays connected with the production and export of coconuts. Sharing scientific expertise and coordinating activities within the industry, the members of the APCC are responsible for the growth of more than 90% of the coconuts produced and sold all over the globe.
Founded in 2009, World Coconut Day was started by the Asia and Pacific Coconut Community to promote the activities of coconut growers while raising awareness about the fruit for those outside of the growing community.
The celebration of World Coconut Day offers plenty of opportunities for this important product of the Asia-Pacific region to enter into the forefront of conversation of people around the world!
World Coconut Day Timeline

Coconuts are present in Indian subcontinent
Historical records from Sri Lanka show that coconuts existed before this time.
16th Century
Coconuts are introduced to Europe
Arriving as many exotic foods did, through the Maritime Silk Road, Europeans were exposed to coconuts through traders like Marco Polo.
1946
Almond Joy candy bar hits the scene
This candy bar combines the sweetness of shredded coconut with an almond and then covers it in delicious milk chocolate.
2004
Vita Coco introduces coconut water
Offering a delicious and nutritious beverage, Vita Coco begins a trend of bottling coconut water and making it commercially available.
2009
World Coconut Day is first celebrated
Started by the Asia-Pacific Coconut Community, World Coconut Day aims to raise awareness and bring harmony to the growth and distribution of coconuts.
How to Celebrate World Coconut Day
Getting involved with World Coconut Day is easy – all it takes is tasting and enjoying this delicious fruit. Consider some of these ideas to celebrate the day:
Enjoy Eating a Coconut
Some people who haven’t grown up around this delicious fruit might be intimidated by its brown, hairy shell. But once it is broken into and the creamy white flesh is exposed, it is a fragrant delight to behold.
First, start by poking a hole in the coconut at the end near the ‘eye’, where the shell is the thinnest. Use a screwdriver or hammer with a clean nail to make the hole. This will allow for the water of the coconut to be drained.
Pro Tip: Strain the coconut water through a cheesecloth and into a cup, and then drink it up!
Once the juice has been drained out of the coconut, one of the easiest ways to break open the fruit is by using a handsaw to cut it in half. Other people might want to simply put it into a sturdy bag and bang it against a stone or concrete until it breaks. This method is a bit messy, but it works.
Once the coconut is open, remove the meat from the shell and enjoy eating it fresh!
Cook or Bake with Coconut
One way to enjoy National Coconut Day without having to go to the trouble of cracking open the fruit is by purchasing the coconut in bags that are shredded or chipped. These are often pre-sweetened and ready to be used in recipes. Since the fruit is a tropical one, and the day falls at the end of the summer, many recipes are cool and refreshing.
Consider cooking or baking with some of these recipe ideas to celebrate the day:
Coconut Cream Pie. This classic pie contains coconut flakes or chips, coconut milk, heavy cream and eggs, and is topped with mounds of sweet whipped cream.
Coconut Ice Cream. This refreshing dessert is so simple, all it needs is 6 ingredients: whipping cream, sugar, vanilla, milk, salt and, of course, shredded coconut.
Coconut Milk Pudding. This delicious recipe is similar to the consistency of flan, but is made with coconut milk, gelatin, mango, butter, grated coconut, condensed milk and other simple ingredients.
Coconut Rice Pudding. A special blend of coconut milk and rice, this dessert is delicious when served with a homemade rhubarb compote or jam. The coconut and rhubarb flavors just meld together on the tongue!
Drink a Piña Colada
A classic tropical drink, the piña colada contains delicious ingredients like pineapple juice, coconut cream, rum, lime juice and ice, all blended together into a delicious frozen beverage. Throw the ingredients in a blender at home and mix it up. Garnish with a drink umbrella and skewer with red cherries for a vibrant presentation.
Try Out Some Coconut Water
A fairly new product on the market, bottled coconut water can be found in many places around the world now. Coconut water is actually the juice or liquid that comes from young coconut plants. Some brands of coconut water that might be worth trying out in celebration of National Coconut Day include Vita Coco, ZICO, Naked Coconut Water, and C2O.
Listen to Some Coconut Themed Music
One fun way to enjoy National Coconut Day is to enjoy a few songs that were written around the theme of coconuts. Try out some of these ideas to get started making a tropical playlist just for this day:
Coconut by Harry Nillson (1971). Probably the most famous song about coconuts, the lyrics are “put de lime in de coconut and drink ‘em both togedder”.
Cocoanut Woman by Harry Belafonte (1957). Released on his album called “Belafante sings of the Caribbean”, this song is about a lady on the island who is selling coconut water.
Coconut Telegraph by Jimmy Buffet (1981). Appearing as the title song on the album of the same name, this song speaks of a Tuesday on the island when information and gossip is exchanged.
I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts by Merv Griffin (1950). With lyrics that make a story out of a coconut toss at a fair, this song is a silly and playful classic from a bygone era.

Your mind is really superior, your Cartagena head canon is on point. I always wondered why Armando looked so upset when he found out Betty had been in Cartagena during the time she disappeared. I mean I understand that he could have been surprised she was ever outside of Bogotá, but he seemed almost angry to find this out. Or maybe he remembered the time he saw her on TV but thought his mind was playing tricks on him, now he knew it was real, and he didn't deal with it so well 😂😂
he's not necessarily angry, but he is a mixture of shocked and hurt (even tho he has no right to be) as u can see here:
so shocked by the revelation that he had to take his glasses off. the thing is, he went crazy looking for her, wondering where she could be and to find out that she never even left colombia. she was like, an hour plane ride away the entire time. and he didn't know. and no one would tell him bc she left orders to specifically not tell him. so for him, cartagena is always going to be the place she went to to get away from him. even tho for her, its the place where she healed and learned to forgive him.
i dont even think he remembers seeing her on tv. he doesn't have the full knowledge of how she ended up in cartagena bc when he mentions it to mario, mario says 'oh so she left for cartagena out of spite?'--(rough translation)--and armando nods. which we know isn't completely true. yes, we know she was also planning on leaving ecomoda but she never had a location getaway planned. like armando said, she left all the money and her family is poor. for armando, finding out where she had been this whole time is simply painful for him.
#ysblf#anon#ask#if there's any anger its at himself for being the reason she needed to leave in the first place#cata does mention the pageant but i dont think armando makes the connection of what he saw on tv vs what he just heard#he should be thankful she stayed in the country bc she originally she was gonna go to miami#and a miami betty would have been different than a cartagena betty#imagine if betty was like 'im moving for the united states to manage some restaurants' armando would have died
