It’s so isolating being the only person I know to actively dislike fall. Like yeah summer can suck sometimes with how unbearably hot it can get but I vastly prefer it to the lingering dread as winter approaches and the sky being gray every single day, it getting dark at like 5pm, and being so cold I either can’t stay awake or am in pain because my body never learned how to regulate its temperature all starts. I like being able to see the sun, thank you very much.

New intro time

Hey everyone :) You can call me Fisher on this ol’ alterhuman blog of mine. I have another name but Fisher works here

I identify as…

-biped turtle spirit/demigod (think of a tortle from D&D)

-regular/non-anthro turtle, (red eared slider) & tortoise (American tortoise)

-fictionkin but it’s not really mentioned on this blog but my sideblog is full of it. Good luck finding it lol

If you want the specifics, I am physically nonhuman. I’m not physically a turtle. My turtle identity is spiritual with some physiological aspects. My physical identity is linked to my fictionkin species/race

I like the labels alterhuman, nonhuman, otherkin and transspecies, or just my species name :) but at the end of the day I don’t really care

Queer identity:

bigender / achillean / pansexual my pronouns are he/it/thing and anything else that makes me drift from what a ‘human’ gender is

I’m also trying out west/west pronouns so I’d love if you could use that so I can see if I like ‘em :)

Other parts of me:

Age is weird as a turtle. I’m in my one hundreds for sure (which is basically 40 for my kind) but I am bodily 19 so keep that in mind when interacting

I’m a cowboy…There’s really no other way to say that. I’m from Texas and I’m practicing horse keeping and hopefully one day steer wrestling or anything in rodeos. I really love rodeo sports and I’m very glued to cowboy culture :)

I’m diagnosed autistic and dyslexic

Special interests are Film History, World Religion, and Prehistoric Anthropology (cavemen r awesome)

I should be covered scales. My face should have a snout and a beak. My torso should be encased in bone and scutes and there should be a hinge of soft tissue just below my chest. My neck and spine should be able to bend so that I can retract into my shell, to duck my head into ever so slightly when nervous, and to fully retract into it and close myself off to the world when things become too much. I should have a tail, swishing behind me when I walk like the ponytail I wore as a child, and wagging when I’m excited. I do not hate this body but I would be so happy in a different one.
