I’m too lazy to write fic but mineta sucks ass and I think all fic that doesn’t involve beating him up, having him be a major antagonist, or forcing him into redemption shouldn’t include him at all so here are some mineta replacement ideas because I’m tired of seeing Shinsou replace him, Shinsou being in gen ed is important to his character.
add an oc
add a background character
kick someone out of class b so there are only 19 students per class
yoarashi inasa(preferably put him in class b and put a b student in class a so the whole “fuck endeavor you’re just like him” “no fuck you he sucks ass” arc is still delayed a bit)
toga himiko(I’m a sucker for a villain rehab or just a crazy bitch who still does good)(also preferably put her in class b bc Vlad would be a better teacher with her quirk)
legit just replace him with someone with the exact same quirk that doesn’t harass people for entertainment
swap him with a class b student and give him zero screen time(this is the worst option bc he still exists)
swap him with a class b student and add someone else to class b
swap him with a student from a different school(yes I know all of them minus Yoarashi are second years but shush)
have Aizawa expel him the second he walks in
add a character from canon content that isn’t the main manga/anime
add a character from a different fandom that you like or a character based on them
replace him with a character that only got in via loopholes (ex. Hatsume passed the exam by figuring out how to manually shut off the robots)
replace him with an aged down/up character
kill him off the second he walks in
hopefully these suffice

trying to think of crossovers between bnha and rgu is so funny because bnha is a story that has entirely too much faith in the very systems rgu critiques

I’m looking through the ‘polyamorous class 1a’ tag on ao3. It’s a lot of like rare pairs and ‘Midoriya is dating KiriBaku and also Todoroki who is dating Momo who is-‘
NO !
WHEN I SAY POLYAMOROUS I WANT THEM ALL TO BE DATING.
ANY MEMBER OF CLASS 1-A SHOULD BE ABLE TO WALK INTO ANY DORM ROOM AND SMOOCH WHOEVER IS IN THERE !!
AN ICOSAHEDROUPLE, IF YOU WILL.

ooo i saw your pick me girl hcs from awhile back and loved them! can i request something similar for ashido/kirishima/kaminari but with the reader encountering a “nice guy” instead? thank you <33
NICE GUYS DO FINISH LAST
characters . . .
ASHIDO MINA, KIRISHIMA EIJIROU, KAMINARI DENKI, BAKUGOU KATSUKI, TODOROKI SHOUTO
notes . . .
a quick one because i was getting overwhelmed with writing this one request for my comeback 🧍‍♀️ (a lil sneak peek: it’s todobakudeku as ex husbands)
female! reader
Tumblr media
MINA is actually offended that this guy thinks it’s going to work. like.. calling you short (even if you might not be), trying to compare hand sizes with you, the self deprecating humor— she’s actually going to throw up in her mouth… 🤢 though, she already clocked this guy’s tea iykwim… she has interacted with guys like him before, and she knew from the very beginning what he wanted— especially when he tried to replace her. the wicked witch and the audacity of this bitch…
“she’s not gonna pick you… if you’re really that nice, you’d stop being so sad… 😹”
if the advancements didn’t stop, she’d basically do whatever she could to make sure he knew that your ass was a fruitcake and not interested… even if it was laughable on her end.
“let’s go my scissor sister!!”
“girl??”
EIJIROU is an actual nice guy… he doesn’t need to say it for it to be known, so maybe that why he knew exactly what was going on the moment he heard this guy flap his lips… he was ashamed that this guy actually labelled himself as a “nice guy” because honestly it was even starting to confuse him like… what if he’s the one that’s not nice for thinking this way? he’s literally gaslighting himself at this point 😭
but because EIJIROU’s so nice, he’d actually pull the dude aside, speak to him from one man to another man, and tell him that he doesn’t need to do all of this because you’re just not interested (oh, and y’all are dating!!)
“hey man… i’m telling you this because i thought you’d want to know, but she’s not interested. might never be, so like… quit it, dude.”
but when the dude pretends the conversation never happened, that’s when he starts getting visibly angry… he’ll be more firm when it comes to telling him off, and he’ll get in between y’all. if you wanted to tell him off yourself, then he’d be right behind you with his arms crossed.
DENKI laughs because he thinks this isn’t a serious thing at all like… there’s no way somebody actually acts like this, right? this is all fiction. he quickly realizes that this is in fact NOT fiction, and this dude is dead serious— and this is when DENKI starts to panic. he alternates between laughing (because not even mineta is that ridiculous) and being gobsmacked at this behavior. it has him lowkey paranoid, because he wonders if he has ever acted like that towards anyone, even if he meant well.
similar to kiri, DENKI is the type to pull the guy aside and tell him what’s up. except, he’d do it so casually, the guy would probably think he’s joking. now, DENKI’s scared because the guy was trying to rope him in his shenanigans (even though he’d never resort to such tactics!!)
he’ll try to joke that being a “nice guy” is out of style (except he’s not really joking) and because this guy genuinely freaks him out, he’d just focus on creating distance between you and that dude.
“bro was gooning so hard 😭 that was not sigma 😹”
KATSUKI practically implodes, when he first sees it, but it’s such an expected reaction— the nice guy doesn’t even think twice about it. KATSUKI looks annoyed— pissed off, when this rando goes up to you and pats you on the head with his unwashed hand, but after the nice guy momentarily goes away, KATSUKI turns to you and tells you to ignore it. not because he thinks you can’t deal with the problem, nor that it isn’t worth dealing with appropriately, but because he doesn’t want you to worry about someone like him any longer. there are better things for both of y’all to worry about, and this will no longer be your problem.
KATSUKI doesn’t even give the dude the luxury of a warning, the next time he sees him and they’re ALONE?? he’s approaching him with such speed, it has the guy shaking in his boots. the nice guy literally regrets trying to be all nice to you for ulterior motives, and he makes it known— but KATSUKI doesn’t care anymore.
“i was just being nice! can’t a guy be nice anymore??”
“oh so you wanna die—”
“sheesh, okay! fine! i’ll stop. the bitch doesn’t deserve it anyway…”
“… say what.”
KATSUKI did in fact deal with it, and you never had to think twice about him again (excluding the times you laughed about it to him.)
“ngl i can’t believe he thought that’d work.”
“well he’s a fucking dumbass. focus on stretching.”
SHOUTO is so confused, because he can’t understand why anyone would actually act this way, and for ulterior motives too. he can’t understand lying about who you are to get something— especially if that somebody is you, and especially if someone just wants that attention. it’s one thing to have a crush on you, sure (he gets that because he literally does), but it’s another thing to make you uncomfortable in the process of trying to get with you.
SHOUTO looks puzzled— insulted even, when he sees this guy pat you on the head and call you short. not just because he literally touched you and made you uncomfortable, but also because he could’ve been wrong too 😭
SHOUTO wouldn’t try to hide the fact that he’s trying to get in between of you. he’s literally like a sturdy foundation, unable to be moved— even if the guy tried to push him aside (also… that’s certainly a choice..)
SHOUTO is blunt with it. he will try to correct him on your height— even if he doesn’t need to. nice guy probably already knows that you’re not actually that short, but SHOUTO needs to make things known.
“please get it right. she’s not short.” (he’d say, if you’re not)
“you’re quite wrong, she’s not that short.” (he’d say, if you are)
and he’d just watch the color drain off his face with secret satisfaction, and the room atmosphere would go awkward afterwards (but does he GAF, nope…)
“you didn’t have to annihilate him like that,” you’d tease SHOUTO later, and then sarcastically remark, “i thought he was a nice guy”
“they finish last. at least, according to a saying.”

Cascade (part 2)
How about a bit more?
(Wherein Kei replaces Mineta's party slot again.)
You know, I feel almost like we should thank this League of Villains.
Oh? Why is that?
Because I’ve never fought someone careless enough to drop me in an armory before, and it’s kind of fun.
UA’s budget was the next best thing to unlimited, resulting in a training pool for flood rescue a dozen times the volume of the best-maintained Olympic water feature. And Kei—and therefore Isobu—had just been dumped into it. Sure, Midoriya and Asui were stuck in the water with her, and maybe Midoriya didn’t have a water-adapted Quirk, but the surface was only three meters away. Even if that was too much, and the water-adapted villains in the pool with them tried to strike, it didn’t matter.
Not compared to the power of a jinchūriki in her element.
With Isobu’s chakra following its favorite pathways through her body, Kei clapped her hands together and reached out.
Everything stopped.
The water went thick and almost gelatinous, molecules seizing almost perfectly in place across the entire volume of the pool. Though Kei could hear the villains’ garbled voices even as they shrieked in confused rage, she wrapped her power around herself and the two other students as a shield. At least one villain slammed headfirst into water gone solid and broke his hand.
And then Asui, swimming at top frog speed and making some of the sharkier villains look slow even with Kei’s watery speed debuff, wrapped Midoriya in her tongue and dragged him toward the surface. Perhaps because Kei shot her a thumbs-up, Asui did not feel the need to slow down in the slightest before Kei took control of the local water column and rocketed upward after her.
Once they breached he surface, Asui hurled Midoriya upward onto the deck of the ship serving as the training area’s centerpiece. Kei, landing on the surface of the water, shook out her hair before offering Asui a hand up.
“Water-walking, Gekkō-chan?” From about ankle-height, Asui grabbed Kei’s glove with a hand that dwarfed hers. Must have been a part of the frog mutation Quirk she had going on.
“Yep.” Sure, Kei didn’t really consider it a part of her Water-aligned ninjutsu repertoire, but that was the kind of distinction no one here cared about. “Let’s go.”
They got onto the ship with no further trouble.
Partly because water slowed down basically everyone, and partly because Kei was just barely holding back from crushing all of the villains still flailing around below the surface. She knew how water pressure worked. She didn’t care if they all died.
But someone might, so Kei refrained from preemptively removing child-murdering thugs from the mortal coil.
No one needed to know she considered it, anyway.
“Thanks, Gekkō-san, Asui-san,” was how Midoriya greeted them on the ship’s bow. Despite being waterlogged, he was otherwise fine.
“I told you to call me Tsuyu-chan, Midoriya-chan.”
“R-right, Tsuyu-chan!” There was no need to go around sounding like Asui was threatening him about her given name at knifepoint, but two days of class had already established that Midoriya’s overthinking tendencies and burgeoning anxiety disorder were on the louder side. “Th-thanks!”
Asui nodded, acknowledging her victory. She turned toward the railing, looking down toward the water, then said, “This isn’t looking good.”
“Yeah,” mumbled Midoriya, “and I just can’t get what that villain said out of my head.”
“You mean about All Might?”
“Right.” Midoriya pressed a hand to his mouth, just above the heavy-duty mouthguard that had barely survived the training exercise earlier this week. “They knew our schedule. Looking at the big picture, those guys must have set up the break-in earlier to get information. Like Todoroki said, they were waiting to pounce.”
“That’s alarming,” Asui said. One of the villains maybe dared to swim closer, but notably not in range of her long tongue and perhaps a subsequent lashing.”
“If those guys really think they have a way to defeat All Might,” Midoriya said, squaring his shoulders and clenching his fists, “then we should do everything in our power to stop them. By fighting…and winning!”
“I’m on board with it,” Asui said with a quiet ribbit.
“Same,” Kei muttered, already gathering chakra again for another attack.
“And the fact that they knew where to warp us means they’ve researched the USJ before now…”
“I was thinking the same thing! But while the villains clearly knew about the USJ, I think there’s a big gap in their information. Especially for a group that otherwise operated so meticulously.”
Kei hid a yawn behind her hand, then lifted the other to snap her fingers. All the water clinging to their costumes dispersed into the air as though shaken off by a dog.
“Th-thanks for demonstrating, Gekkō-san,” Midoriya managed, shuddering at the sensation. “But it also goes for Tsuyu-chan. If the villains realized what our Quirks were, they would’ve never sent both of you to the water rescue zone.”
Kei glared down at the water through her goggles. At least a dozen waterborne villains had surface, and her control of the pool indicated another half-dozen lurking underwater to ambush anyone who tried to swim for safety.
Actually, some of them looked like they were equipped for the job. Shark-Face notwithstanding, there weren’t as many obvious aquatic mutant Quirks on display as there could’ve been. One or two of them had spearguns in hand, like their expected opposition was just going to sit there and get shot. Or, rather, go into the water and get shot.
Not for the first time, Kei wanted a complete report of all the shit Catch-These-Hands down in the plaza must have gotten into when he disintegrated his way into the school. Obito hadn’t finished writing it. But since Kei’s chakra was as subtle as a sledgehammer, she could only assume he’d noticed the new problem from Nezu’s office and started to organize a response.
And if he wasn’t, Kei would find time in her schedule to yell at him.
“Our advantage lies in the fact that the villains don’t know what our Quirks are. None of them are trying to climb into the boat, which supports my hypothesis.” Midoriya’s determined look faded for a split second. “Um, Asui-sa—Tsuyu-chan’s Quirk is a given, but I didn’t get to see yours in action, Gekkō-san.”
Mainly because Midoriya’s match with Bakugō had been the first and only training exercise to send someone to Recovery Girl. He’d missed at least three after that. Kei distinctly remembered wondering where all of Midoriya’s compartmentalization ability had gone, given that he’d blown up his entire arm again. Thankfully, the school nurse was able to put this Humpty Dumpty back together after all.
“I know it’s water-based, too…”
“It’s called Tsunami,” Kei replied. She pressed her hands together again into the Dog seal. As her chakra surged, so did Isobu’s. “Which means I can create, control, and destroy all water around me.”
There was another brief pause. Midoriya looked like he couldn’t decide to laugh or cry. If Kei had just been told her job was to fight a bear and then informed her that the day’s allowed arsenal included a main battle tank, she figured she’d feel the same way.
“That simplifies the plan a lot, Gekkō-chan,” said Asui, blunt and sincere at once. “Thank you for telling us.”
“No problem.”
About a second later, one of the villains finally lost patience and created a giant hand made out of water to go on the offensive. It rose tall as though to chop the ship in half and drag everyone to a watery grave. Some of the villains even started giggling in anticipation.
Kei slid down the length of the bow until she was directly beneath the attack, raised one hand, and caught the blow with her fingertips as well as Isobu’s strength. The water construct felt solid enough as it made contact, but it bowed under their combined control and started to reshape itself into something blunter, scalier, and wonderfully familiar.
Best high-five I’ve ever pulled off.
The best so far.
Kei shook hands with her shoulder devil made manifest—hand to fingertip, at any rate—and sent their power wildly down through that point of contact like a dam collapse. Soon, more and more of Isobu’s hundred-meter body took shape in semitransparent form, dotted occasionally with screaming, terrified villains who suddenly realized they’d lost control of the plot. While there wasn’t enough water to manifest Isobu’s full size, what was there could fold the enemy’s aquatic fighters into its belly and keep them there for as long as needed.
And all the while, the demo ship sank lower and lower in the pool, away from the possibility of drowning or reaching the plaza without some help.
“How do you feel about surfing, Midoriya-chan?” Asui asked.
“I-I-I think positively?!” Midoriya grabbed the railing of the tossing ship hard enough to leave fingerprints in steel. It didn’t seem like he noticed.
“Then we’ll go with that. Hang on tight, please,” Kei said, and channeled still more energy into her grasp on the water.

So between the popularity of the last D&D post I did and the upcoming revisions to D&D 5E, I thought it'd be fun to talk about Class 1-A and D&D again. This time, instead of playing D&D, this will be students in D&D. For this, I will be picking out classes and races that I believe fit them the most based on the descriptions and lore presented in the books. Official material only, so no Blood Hunter Tokoyami. However, characters and their "stats" will take precedent over Quirks. The Gravity Wizard is a thing, but I don't think that Uraraka would fit as a Wizard.
Tumblr media
Sato-Half Orc Berserker Barbarian: A perfect encapsulation of Sato. A big ole beefcake that runs up, hits stuff as hard as possible, and then immediately burns himself out because that's all he can do.
Mineta-Kender Rogue Thief: The classic "jerk thief" archetype with a set of quick hands and mobility options to replace his orbs with. And like Mineta, Kender are also a small race that everyone despises, so it's fitting.
Aoyama-Eldarin Warlock Celestial: A natural fit for Warlocks. He only shoots out beams, gets tired after a few big attacks, and owes all his power to a patron. Eldarin are just extra Elves, so that works out as well.
Mina-Satyr Bard Dance: The class is a pretty obvious choice given Mina's natural charisma and acrobatic abilities. I was tempted to pick Yuan Ti for the poison abilities, but I figured that Satyr would fit her look and character better.
Denki: Dragon Sorcerer Dragonborn: Just going all in on the lightning damage here. Denki is someone coasting entirely on talent, fitting with a Sorcerer, and everything else is letting him gave off as much electricity as possible.
Ojiro-Harengon Open Hand Monk: Open Hand Monk is a pretty obvious fit given Ojiro's martial abilities. As for the race… Look, there isn't any race that uses a tail. Harengon was about as close as I was going to get with it's other abilities.
Hagakure-Fairy Arcane Trickster: Rogues are good at sneaking and Arcane Tricksters can reliably become invisible. Fairies fit well into the sneaky part of it and their generally cheery disposition fits even better with Hagakure's chipper personality.
Kirishima: Goliath Battlerager Barbarian: A race that is made out of resilient rocks, a class that's all about getting and taking hits, and subclass that is all about being covered in sharp armor. It's great. You can even have the Rage be his Red Riot: Unbreakable move.
Koda-Firbolg Shepard Druid: I know I did this before, but it's too perfect with his role as the friend to all animals. Firbolgs are the soft, gentle giants of the forest and the Shepard Druid fits nicely with his tendency of overwhelming foes with countless animals.
Jiro-Tiefling Glamour Bard: No surprise with the class and the subclass fits with her role as punk rocker. Tiefling may seem like an odd pick, but I think that her generally closed off disposition can fits well with how Tieflings tend to be characterized.
Sero-Tabaxi Fey Wanderer Ranger: Hands down the hardest person to pick out for this. His abilities and personality don't fit a lot of races or classes that much. I just went with this set up for his pension for movement and trapping as well how personable he can be.
Momo-High Elf Artillerist Artificer : A natural builder that can create whatever she wants, especially her powerful canons. The elf part was mostly for personality given how distant Momo tends to be from other in terms of wealth and overall intelligence.
Tokoyami-Owlin Fiend Warlock: I know the Kenku is right there, but I believe that Owlin fits Tokoyami better. And with how his power comes entirely from a monster and how much it protects him, the defensive abilities of the Warlock Fiend fit well.
Tsuyu-Grung Cleric Peace: Grung is obvious since it's literally a frog, but her class may be confusing for some. I did consider Monk, but none of the subclasses fit her that well. I just thought that having her be a Peace Cleric fits with her wise and supportive nature.
Uraraka-Halfling War Cleric: I honestly went with Cleric because fit her general disposition. That kind of support centric person with a few fighting options that come with the War Cleric. The Halfling was mostly because she's very brave and focused on her family.
Shoto-Half Elf Lunar Sorcerer: Sorcerer is an obvious pick with how much of his story is tied to his ancestry and divided nature, complimented further by the Half Elf race. I went with Lunar Sorcery since it multitude of options works with his multifaceted power.
Tenya-Wizard War Magic Warforged: I was tempted to go with Paladin for him, but I believed that Wizard fit better with his natural intellect. Having him be a War Magic Wizard seemed like a good comprise. And of course Warforged fits him nicely.
Shoji-Simic Hybrid Astral Self Monk: Shoji fits in well with the reserved and disciplined types that often make up Monks, especially with how many times he can punch, but the real flavor comes from the Simic Hybrd. A terrifying monster of a man with gliders and tendrils? It's perfect.
Bakugou-Fire Genasi Eldritch Knight Fighter: I believe that Fighter fits best with Bakugou's upfront and aggressive way of fighting as well as his immense physical resilience, with the subclass fitting with his intelligence. And the Fire Gensai was just made to be Bakugou with it's firepower and hyper aggression.
Izuku: Variant Human Devotion Paladin: I was tempted to go with Wizard here, but I think that Izuku's unwavering devotion to a cause and heroic spirit fits too well with a paladin. Plus, you could easily reflavor all of his smites as smashes. Because I don't care what they say, you can smite with your fists.

Chapter 425
Tumblr media
Wow... how normal all of a sudden. A high scholl graduation Plus Ultra
Lots of hairstyles have been changed
Tumblr media
UA's graduation is just a straight up concert. Mic's all dressed up, living his best life
All the groups of students being labelled with varying degrees of acceptance of UA's weirdness
Tumblr media
Nezu being so important on a global scale is just... that's how this school manages to exist in the way that it does.
Tumblr media
When literally the entire crowd(at least the ones who know him) is surprised that he's acting serious.
I'm just glad that he was wearing his hero costume under his school uniform and didn't end his high school career flashing the entire student body
Tumblr media
Good bye to the sparkly Frenchman... are his parents facing legal consequences? There's still questions unanswered about the whole situation surrounding him
Tumblr media
Of course he's still carrying cheese and... break dancing?
Wow. They already knew Shinso was joining the class, he joined when Midoriya was gone, but now that he's replacing Aoyama instead it's important? At least finish saying goodbye. Look at how sad he is
Wait. How did Shinso get a provisional license? There's no way the Exams were being held during the war. Was it just an emergency licensing so they could 'legally' use him for the war? More questions even as we approach the end of the series
Tumblr media
Mineta has a valid statement here... but Eraser, keep that hold on him.
WHY ARE STUDENTS IN CHARGE OF ANYTHING? WHY IS A SINGLE SCHOOL'S STUDENTS RESPONSIBLE FOR NATIONWIDE RESORATION EFFORTS? WHY ARE THE ADULTS INCOMPETENT?
Tumblr media
All for One didn't come to power because there was no symbol... he came to power because the entire world was in upset as literal superpowers started becoming a thing, and he took advantage of that.
All Might as a single pillar actually helped All for One rebuild his resources by fostering a sense of complacency.
HORIKOSHI WRITE CONSISTENLY 2K24!
Tumblr media
Oh? So Toga just vanished into thin air after giving Uraraka a blood transfusion, but somehow, fucking somehow, Touya(possibly) survived his suicide bombing.
*very tired sigh*
Sure, why not? Izuku couldn't save Shigaraki, but Touya may have survived. Then again, there's that one mysterious person, I didn't bother to include an image of, that some people are hoping is Shigaraki somehow so... who the fuck knows at this point?
I feel like I'm somehow being punished for sticking with the series this long

The Class 1-A Support Group: Fuck Endeavor Edition
The sun was setting over U.A. High School, casting long shadows across the classroom where Class 1-A had gathered for their usual study session. However, today’s topic was anything but ordinary. The recent broadcast from Touya Todoroki had left everyone in a state of disbelief and anger, and the students were ready to vent.
“Can you believe Endeavor?” Mineta piped up, his usual bravado replaced by genuine disgust. “I know I'm not free of sin, but damn, Endeavor is… y'know, just the worst!”
“Mineta’s right,” Iida said, adjusting his glasses with a serious expression. “Todoroki, I used to have respect for Endeavor, but now he repulses me. I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Except for him, of course.”
“Thanks, Iida,” Shoto replied, his voice flat but with a hint of appreciation.
“It’s clear that Endeavor only changed because his actions came back to him,” Sero added, crossing his arms. His tone was matter-of-fact, but the anger simmering beneath was palpable.
Bakugou, who had been unusually quiet, made a face that was hard to read.
“Tch, if I was law enforcement, I’d tell Shigaraki that his new name is Frida Goman, and Endeavor is no longer Frida Goman,” Kaminari chimed in, trying to lighten the mood.
“Facts, brother!” Kirishima agreed, nodding vigorously.
“How can people say the villains are too far gone and at the same time say that Endeavor is not?” Tokoyami pondered aloud, his dark feathers ruffling slightly.
“Because he’s a hero,” Jirou replied, rolling her eyes. “Man, the world’s so unfair.”
Deku, ever the optimist, chimed in, “You’d expect at least some of the corruption to be solved by the end of the series…”
“Ah- No need to break the fourth wall now, Midoriya!” Iida interjected, a hint of exasperation in his voice.
“I know this sounds weird, but I totally understand why Dabi became a villain!” Kirishima said, his voice filled with empathy.
“Freal!” Kaminari agreed, leaning forward in his seat.
Tsuyu added, “You could’ve ended up like your brother, Todoroki. Ribbit.”
Yaoyorozu nodded thoughtfully. “Shoto… our class has gone through so much that we should all be in therapy, but you especially, because of the abuse and instability in your childhood.”
“If I was Endeavor’s doctor, I would’ve done some… secret mad doctor operations on him, actually,” Kaminari said with a laugh, but there was a dark undertone to his words.
“Haha!” Jirou chuckled, but her laughter faded as she continued. “You’re supposed to be a hero!”
“Isn’t that justice though?” Kaminari replied, a smirk on his face.
“I can’t imagine if that had been my mother he did all those things to… Oh, I would’ve- UGH!” Kaminari exclaimed, his frustration boiling over.
“Honestly, I think I would’ve offed him in his sleep,” Jirou said, her expression fierce.
“Yeah,” Kaminari replied, nodding in agreement.
“If I was Todoroki, I wouldn’t have like fifty pictures of Endeavor that I throw knives at! But then I wouldn’t have fifty pictures of him because they’d be all knifed up,” Jirou said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Literally!” Kaminari added, his enthusiasm infectious.
“Actually, even though I’m not him, I’m STILL GONNA DO THAT!” Jirou declared, pumping her fist in the air.
“YEAHHHHHH!” Kaminari cheered, the energy in the room shifting to something more lighthearted.
“I must admit, I really only see him as a villain. But that feels like an insult to the villains, because most villains don’t cross… that line,” Tokoyami said, his voice low and serious.
Shoji scoffed, knowing exactly what ‘that line’ meant.
“I’m so forgiving man, like I can forgive anyone, but God, I just can’t bring myself to forgive him!” Kirishima said, his voice filled with frustration.
“I feel the exact same!” Kaminari agreed, the group nodding in solidarity.
As the discussion continued, the students of Class 1-A found strength in their shared feelings, united in their disdain for Endeavor and their support for Shoto. They might not have all the answers, but together, they could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Wildcard AU: I noticed the name and googled it. I’m personally haven’t read it, but I’ve the jist of how he works.
Could be seen as a bit of symbolism of Midoriya’s first friend to join him has the Persona of what some people would called the first superhero.
I also find it funny how unintentionally you made both Morgana, a cat (not a cat!), and Himiko, very cat like, have Personas that would be the inspiration for Batman.
Will Himiko also be replacing Mineta in 1-A?
Not only is he from the generation of proto-superheroes, the Scarlet Pimpernel is a master of disguise and spends much of his time pretending to be nothing more than an average rich fool, which all seemed appropriate.
Someone has to

If I recall from canon, didn't Aizawa admits during the Sports Festival Arc that he only reads(skims) the student files right then and there(at the Sports Festival), thus he still wouldn't get the full situation with the students?
Who know what's funny, had Shinso been in 1-A in the first place like in a lot of fanfics with Mineta-replaced-by-Shinso, Aizawa teaching only him would just be Aizawa sucking Bakugo's and Shinso's dicks(let's be really here, Bakugo still gets a lot of love in these fics). But on the other hand, those same Shinso-in-1-A often does lead to the fact that Aizawa actually does his job for the rest of the class. There are obviously rare fic exceptions that call out the canon version of Aizawa, but most of the time, Aizawa actually is made into a better teacher.
Canon Aizawa just becomes a bigger issue simply because we are shown more scenes of him teaching Shinso than teaching the 1-A students combined. We literally need filler arcs in both the manga and anime of him teaching the 1-A students and one of the issues we would have with Aizawa would be diminished.
I totally forgot about that. Yeah, the fact he admits he only “skims” their files is him outright admitting what a lousy teacher he is. Based on what we’ve seen, his idea of “skimming” files is him not even reading them to the point where one of the first pieces of info about Izuku’s quirk, the day he registered it, was glanced over.
You’re pretty much right about him sucking Hitoshi’s dick from the get-go if he was in his class. After Katsuki, Shota’s favorite student is by far Hitoshi… despite Hitoshi’s terrible attitude and lack of effort put into training.

Rebirth

For as long as she could remember, guilt was all she could feel. It roamed in her head like a plague that threatened to spread further and further, soon to take over her body and be in complete control. Why is it that she felt so guilty?
When she hadn't done anything wrong.
"F/n?" The sound of her name brought her back to reality. She stared at the familiar pair of heterochromia eyes as they worriedly looked at her. That's right, she had forgotten she was in class.
"Are you okay?" Shoto asked as he eyed his childhood friend. He continued to stare at her as she stared blankly at him.
She blinked, then let out a small smile, embarrassingly scratching her cheek, "Sorry, I didn't get enough sleep last night. I was replaying the movie I had watched in my mind and I guess you caught me spacing out."
Her friend shook his head, "I texted you last night to sleep. I'm assuming you disregarded my message, right?"
"Yeah, sorry. I was really into the movie." She said as she let out another chuckle. Ahead, she watched as Denki messed around with Katsuki. She sat near her friends as they waited for their classmates to enter and for their homeroom teacher to begin class.
The bi-colored hair male looked at the side of her face. Her eyebags had seemed to get larger. Just yesterday they seemed fine, but it almost looked like she had been crying which concerned the male. Especially since he knew her history, “Have you been taking your medications?”
She glanced at him again, rolling her eyes in the process with a smile, “Yes, dad. One last night and one this morning. My next one is tonight, like always.”
His worriedness washed away as he smiled, a tiny smile that he only held for her, “I’m just making sure. You always forget to take it.”
“Well, I took it this time, alright?” She said, looking away from him, “I’ll make sure to message you again tonight.”
Next to her, Tenya let out a disappointed sigh as he readjusted his glasses. He shook his head as he watched the boys roughly mess around, "Almost two years and they still don't know how to behave. How absurd."
Shoto, who after finishing his conversation with F/n, scrolled through his phone, "I think they were just born like that."
Ochaco giggled as Katsuki grabbed a fistful of Denki's hair and shook him, "I don't know, it's kind of entertaining."
"And also reckless." Tenya motioned his hands up and down, "They're almost adults and yet they behave like children."
"Again," Shoto placed his phone down, "I think they were born like that. Or maybe dropped as a kid."
While Ochaco giggled at Shoto's comment, F/n smiled at him, "Look at you trying to be funny. New year, new you, huh?"
"It's also very rude." Tenya added.
Shoto smiled, ignoring the navy-haired male, "Was I being funny?"
"Guess new you still don't understand humor." Ochaco said as she let out a content sigh.
Three months into their second year of school and yet everyone is the same. That didn't bother the h/c haired girl. Though, she did wish some people like Katsuki would change their attitude. However, she does wonder if this year will be different.
She hoped for it to be a good difference.
"Oh, right." Ochaco perked up, "Have you guys heard?"
The three friends raised their brows, "Heard what?"
She smiled, "Apparently, we have a new boy coming to our class!"
"A new student?" Tenya thought for a second, "How come I wasn't informed? I'm the Class Rep."
"It was probably last minute." Shoto pointed out, "Momo would have said something if she knew as well."
F/n agreed, "Yeah, but why are we having a new student? Isn't our class full?"
"Oh, that's right, you haven't heard." Tenya lifted his arm, "Minoru Mineta got expelled last week for his inappropriate actions towards Momo. That's why he hasn't been around. It was time for him to leave anyway."
"Yep! And in return we get a hot, attractive guy to replace him!" Mina, with a big grin, interrupted them as she, Kyoka and Momo entered class.
"How do you even know if he's attractive? You haven't even met him." Kyoka pointed out as she headed for her seat, annoyed at Mina.
"Because I can just feel it!" Mina shouted and laughed as she followed after the purple-haired friend, "Plus, I think I just saw him in the hallway."
Momo shook her head and greeted everyone good morning. Ochaco moved away from her seat and talked to Mina as she squealed about the new kid being hands off. The boys only groaned in annoyance.
"Nobody cares about some damn extra!" Katsuki shouted at her, ensuing an argument.
Tenya continued to shake his head and attempted to deescalate the situation, but unfortunately the argument was turned on him. In their seats, F/n smiled as Shoto eyed his friend, "Aren't you curious who this new kid might be?"
F/n shrugged, "Not really. It's just a new kid. If anything he'll turn out like Denki or Katsuki."
"I would've thought you would be at least a little curious, especially if it's a boy." Shoto added as he looked away from her.
"Aw!" She poked his cheeks, "Are you jealous that I might replace you?"
He huffed lightly with tinted cheeks, "No."
She let go of his face and chuckled, "Don't worry, Shoto. I won't go anywhere. Nothing can ever separate us anyways!"
Right on time, the school bell rang and the classroom door opened and in stepped Mr. Aizawa with a meek kid following behind, "Everyone sit down, I have an announcement to make. This is your new classmate. Please make him feel welcome and what not. Introduce yourself."
"I-I'm Izuku M-Midoriya! Please take care of me!" He bowed down, feeling embarrassed with the sudden attention.
"Oh. He's kind of plain looking." Mina's face fell in disappointment.
Ochaco blushed a little, "He's kind of cute."
"What the hell!?" Katsuki yelled, frightening Izuku, "What are you doing here, Deku!?"
"Oh, good, you know someone." Mr. Aizawa boringly pointed behind F/n, "There's your seat."
Izuku nodded and quickly rushed towards his seat, avoiding Katsuki's death stare. However, as his eyes moved forward, they pinned themselves on F/n. It was only a quick second, but Izuku's breath hitched as she looked at him.
While the lesson continued and played as background, Izuku eyed her back. It had seemed like things were getting harder for him. He was just glad that he had found her once again.
Is it the same as always?
Why can't it be different this time?
As always, there is a lot of work to do.
But for now, Izuku had to think of a way to approach her. Maybe this time, things can go smoothly if cards are played right.

Note
ngl im a mineta defender until the end, now before you jump me let me explain
his behavior is obvi disgusting (lets also not ignore the fact that hori has said hes his self insert) BUT IT IS EXTREMELY EASY TO FIX!
a lot of kids and teens who have similar behaviors often have parents with the same beliefs. not to say that this is always the case but it’s more common than not
which means that they’re raised not knowing that their behavior is wrong. they see it as acceptable, and not only that, but *expected* of them
it is an extremely easy thing to rectify. of course sometimes it’s harder depending on how much the behavior has been ingrained into them, but at the end of the day it is *fixable*
he was failed by his parents for encouraging his behavior and he was failed by other adults/teachers for letting it continue
also it’s not that much of a stretch to say that he was probably heavily bullied. he has a very prominent lisp, he’s a heteromorph, and he’s extremely short. i’ve seen several ppl who hc that he has dwarfism and i definitely agree with that
aizawa doesn’t seem to give a shit because he never takes any action to try and discipline him for how he acts
also im sick of the shinso replacing mineta fics. the only good thing abt shinso replacing aoyama is that ppl don’t have an excuse to replace him.
like for the love of god it’s not that hard to simply change his character. it annoys me to no end. bc i like mineta a lot! his quirk is interesting and he has a lot of potential as a character but he’s reduced to a creepy pervert bc every shonen anime needs to have at least one 🙄
tl;dr stop bashing mineta and start bashing hori
Hi @the-jello-bowl 👋
Stop bashing Mineta and start bashing Hori... hmm. You know what? That's a sentiment I could get behind.
After all, the ultimate problem with Mineta lies in his writing.
At the start of the series, Hori wrote him too perverted with too little of any other redeeming or sympathetic quality. That impression stuck - so a lot of fans want him out of heroism and out of 1A.
This is fair because Mineta's behaviour is triggering for many people, and he could make a dangerous figure as a hero and an adult if left unchecked and if his perversions worsen.
While I understand why, Shinsou replacing Mineta is a lazy way to do take Mineta out of 1A, since Shinsou canonically hasn't shown he deserves to be in the hero class nor shown to have good interactions with 1A as a collective.
While it doesn't make his behaviour excusable, you are right when you say Mineta was failed by the adults around him. Especially his parents and Aizawa, as you pointed out, they were the ones prime positioned to fix this behaviour, yet they did not. We don't know what his parents are like for certain, but I believe his dad was likely a verbally and emotionally abusive misogynist who Mineta idolised. And we know that Aizawa fluctuates between negligence and using his hero grade weapon on Mineta as discipline... so there is no consistent messaging there. Yikes.
Instead, Hori implied Mina had to clockwork orange Mineta to stop him being a pervert which... took away Mineta's whole agency in his decision to stop being perverted. (Did his character even get better at all by his own freewill really if Mina had to do this? Will that 'brainwashing' break one day? Here is another reason to hate Hori's writing.)
Hori also doesn't expand on the things that could make Mineta sympathetic, the lisp, the possibly being bullied in the past, the likely self-confidence issues. He doesn't expand on Mineta's backstory or expand on why he wants to be a hero, really (if it was just girls, he would have quit by now, let's be real).
It is a failure in Hori's writing that he doesnt give Mineta (as a HERO student) a redemption arc where he realises just how awful he's been to the girls and vows to make up for it. This moment could have even begun because Mineta stops his perversions due to wanting to be more well-liked and like Midoriya (who he looks up to). The building blocks are there - Hori neglects them.
TLDR: Mineta is a character that could have had potential, and his quirk is interesting. He had potential for a character redemption arc, potential for an interesting backstory, too.
The reason why Mineta is hated is because Hori wastes all his potential to have a lazily written creepy pervert throughout the majority of the story.
Good traits such as Mineta's bravery only make a large appearance later, and the perversions disappear too late in the story to really salvage his popularity.
Not only that, but being a hero is a privilege, not a right. Mineta has got to show through the story as a member of 1A why he deserves to be there and why he has the character for Heroism - unfortunately Hori fails to do this for him because of the reasons I mentioned above.
A lazily written cowardly perverted character could have worked in a minor villain character, but this is instead in a member of 1A, who we are meant to root for adding to the cognitive dissonance of his character.
