lmfao this is going to age me, but i just looked up my fanfiction dot net profile and it says i joined in 2007.. kdfjksdlf but before i even wrote fanfiction, i was writing screenplays bc my cousins would all wanna act out stuff on camera (we filmed ourselves so damn much lol those were the days) i only knew about the script format bc my older cousin was in acting school, so they showed me what scripts looked like and i thought it was dope lol.

but i liked reading books, and then after watching anime, i found fanfiction shortly after. y'all.... i think my first piece of fanfiction was for prince of tennis LOLOL what a ride.

wrote for a good while, ended up starting a series and it got surprisingly spread - it's literally why i even joined tumblr in the first place bc people were talking about it here. but i was in uni by that point, so i took a humongous writing break and didn't write at all for five years. (and guess what: i updated that damn series five years later!! never give up on a series unless the author says it's done!!)

started back up again because of bangtan and all the fantastic writers i stumbled upon when i discovered this side of tumblr. i can't thank them enough bc writing has brought so much joy back into my life (despite the downsides like thinking it's not good enough, comparing myself to others, not getting too much feedback, etc.) and i don't think i wanna take a break for that long again<3 but through all the ups and downs, i've learned that i am the most happy when i write for myself, so i'm just gonna keep writing what makes me happy and hopefully y'all will enjoy it, too.

I reread the scene I wrote for my project a few weeks ago fully expecting to hate it, and I honestly don’t. I kinda wanna continue writing in that format just because it’s fun, but I feel like most people don’t really like reading in screenplay format and I def wanna share what I’ve written from time to time bc sometimes I just really need the feedback. Don’t know what I should do. I’ll probably end up just writing it normally. 

Also, I took down the post linking to that scene, but it anyone’s interested in reading it, let me know. I might put it back up just for more feedback bc my professor didn’t give me very good notes.
