It took a lot of work, a lot of searching the interwebs for nice second hand stuff and some time, but eventually the house renovations were finished.

There was still room for more stuff and personal touches, but Kit and Penny were at least relieved that the old wood and shoddy kitchen had been replaced and everything was safe and looked fresh.

Aska got her own room and felt like the biggest little girl ever.

The twins were sleeping in their parents' bedroom for the time being, while what would become their room was still in construction. And with three small children to care for now, there was little time left to work on the renovation. Whenever the children had fallen asleep, Emma and Niall picked up where they left off and worked on creating the new room.

Of course, they had help from professional bricklayers to build the walls, but Emma insisted that they finish the rest of the work themselves. While Niall was responsible for the heavy lifting, Emma was working on the aesthetics of it all. The room would be only about half as big as Louis's, so Emma wanted to make up for that by painting the walls herself and creating her own decorations. She knew that the smaller room was not a big deal, since the kids would play in both rooms anyway, but partially she was just looking forward to painting the baby room.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Niall: "What's on your mind, love? You seem uncertain."

Emma: "I've been thinking... I was going to put their cots over here, but... Now I don't know about this layout."

Emma: "Maybe they can go over there on the right..?"

Niall: "You're the expert."

Emma: "Hmmm... Do you reckon I could paint the fireplace?"

Niall: "What? Oh, uhm... I'm not so sure. On the marble?"

Emma: "I suppose I could decorate it another way instead."

Niall: "Right. But I think you're skipping a few steps there."

Emma: *sighs* "I know, I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I?"

Niall: "Well, you're tired. Not much sleep we're getting these days."

Emma: "Right."

Niall: "Look, why don't I lend you a hand?"

Emma: "Can you?"

Niall: "Like, uhm... oh, this would be the perfect place for a mural, don't you think?"

Emma: "Actually, yes! It's the perfect fit for the cots, too!"

Niall: "Yes, that's... that's what I was thinking, too!"

Emma: "Of course you were."

Emma: "Do you think they'll like it?"

Niall: "Oh, Emma, they'll love it! Almost as much as I love you."

Emma: "Oh, you sweet talker!"

Niall: "I'm serious, though. I've seen your set paintings. You've got a good eye for this sort of thing."

Emma: "Why, thank you."

Emma: "I love you, too, you know?"

Niall: "Of course I know."

Unlike me, Wilhelm Kohler is rarely surprised by his wife. Her choosing him was the most surprising thing he could have imagined, so anything after that just seems in character. They couldn't be more unpredictable: she's a rich girl from Boston with WASP ancestry and hands better for lacework than hard labor; he's a working class immigrant from Gernsbach, Germany, who took his knowledge of the Black Forest to logging camps in Maine, the Catskills, Appalachia, and finally, the Rockies.

He didn't even mean to end up on Antoinette Benoit's wagon to Kainai--he just thought it might mean work. And it has, though maybe not in the way he expected. He's put his woodworking knowledge to use building beds and a roof for his children, a table for his kitchen, and a storefront for his wife to sell her pretty things. And that's not just talk--all the furniture that can be made with Sun&Moon's Woodworking set has been. Just like my dad, woodworking is Wilhelm's love language.

His greatest pride, though, was helping build the schoolhouse. Reading came late for Wilhelm, particularly reading English, and though it means fewer hands on the farm, he's glad to know his children stand a chance of being half as well-read as his wife.

After being struggling in the big city, Helena move out from the old apartment and have a bit of money, since she got offer to be a busker at the Cafe near by as her part time job. She rent this fully furnished apartment from her brother in law, Xander's dad and she just decorated her bed room and buy second hand music keyboard.

Feeling more drained than I have in quite a long time so for comfort I watched a few episodes of star trek tos and I had totally forgotten how gay that show seriously is

Day 2/100 - 100 days of productivity 🕊️

🕊️ When it comes to work - mission failed. I didn't work a single hour today. At least I took my brother to the doctor. Tomorrow I'm going to wake up earlier and work as much as possible, since we're going to the Ice Nine Kill's concert in the afternoon.

🕊️ But! I've been to a junk shop with my family and found some extra cool stuff. A lot of vintage sunglasses for 2 zł each?? So cool?? Later, my brother and I found 2 beautiful acoustic guitars (86 zł). They're missing some elements, so we're going to renovate them. I also bought green earrings, a hair clip, mugs and a clock.

We also went to a DIY store, where I bought the things I need to paint the walls in my room. I want to finally renovate it this summer.

🕊️ I made some changes to my bf's house design, which I was working on yesterday. So yeah, I've finally worked for half an hour ;) Time to do my weekly self-care session 🤍

🌷 I've listened to some Ice Nine Kills and they're better than I thought.

🌷 Rammstein sounds better than yesterday tbh.
