Why are you "new to the harry potter fandom?" Why would you intentionally get into something made by a violent white supremacist terf

Hello Anon,

I would say I did not intentionally get into harry potter. I had read the books as a kid like most other people and to be frank I wasn't a fan of them or her writing. But I began to really attach myself to some of the characters from that god forsaken bookseries. I would daydream of self inserting myself in that world so I could interact with him, I used it as a coping skill.

At times my attachment to said characters returns in a wave. And I've been wanting to write some fanfiction about said characters. I never have before because I was ashamed I liked any characters from harry potter.

But on this Tumblr I've been trying to let go of shame and guilt I feel for liking certain problematic media.

I would like to write some fanfiction, look at some fanart, of characters and ships from harry potter and meet others who also like it.

I know I shouldn't like Harry Potter because JK Rowling is a disgusting and repulsing person but I don't want to surpress this because, personally, that leads to me liking the media even more and obsessing even further. This will pass and the enjoyment I feel for these characters will dwindle until the wave comes again.

I would like to make it crystal clear I do not like JK Rowling. I despise her.

She's an awful horrible person whose comeuppance is coming.

I have not read any of her newer books, the cursed child, any of the side books, or anything like that. I know though by talking about Harry Potter that is spreading her proweress even further and I am sorry.

I apologize if any of this sounds like an attack, or that I was being too defensive, for years now I’ve hated and hidden what I like even from myself and its tiring. I am also exhausted so I am longer winded. I have reread this to try and see if it makes any sense but it may not and it is what it is. You may think of me as a horrible person for liking something made by a horrible person and that's ok! You may despise me and that's ok! But please let me just enjoy something.

I am sorry that I made this post about me instead of being about how awful and disgusting Joanna K Rowling and I am sorry. She disgusts me, I looked her up just now so I can spell out her name because she shouldn't be able to hide behind the initials of JK.

Y/N felt the nerves build up with each step she took walking down the East London Street, eventually she made it and looked up at the light brick building with big windows; The Fellas Studio’s where inside were some of her favourite Youtubers and content creators. For months and years y/n had watched these people form the comfort of her own home but now, she was considered their contemporary but she had a huge case of imposter syndrome.

“Hi, I’m Y/N I’m here for The Fella’s podcast?” She said to the receptionist politely. The receptionist gave her a pass and sent her up on her way. Cal and Chip were waiting, just talking casually on the chairs when they heard footsteps on the stars and a very nervous y/n entered the room. The boys were lovely, they spent a few minutes trying to ease nerves and ran over some questions before the recording was about to start. Y/N clutched the microphone, steadying the slight shake of the hand just as Calum announced recording.

"Welcome back to The Fellas Podcast, the place where we get the most interesting people on the internet to sit down and chat. Today, we're excited to have someone who’s not just interesting but downright viral. She’s been breaking the internet with her hilarious skits, relatable content, and just that magnetic personality. Please welcome TikTok sensation, Y/N!" Freezy did the intro and y/n smiled through the nerves as much as she could.

"Thank you so much for having me, guys! I’m a huge fan of the podcast, so this is a bit surreal for me."

 "We’re excited to have you here too! First off, how does it feel to be the queen of TikTok right now? I mean, your rise has been insane—millions of followers in such a short time." Cal started off with an easy question to try and ease y/n in as much as he could.

"Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real. Sometimes I wake up and have to remind myself that this is actually happening. It all happened so quickly, you know? I started posting just for fun, and suddenly it’s like—boom—everyone’s watching."

"Let’s talk about that ‘boom’ moment. Was there a specific video or a moment where you thought, ‘Okay, this is really taking off’?" Chip asked

"Yeah, there was one video that really kicked things off. It was a skit about dealing with overprotective parents, and I guess it just resonated with a lot of people. The comments were flooded with ‘This is literally me!’ and people tagging their friends. The video hit a million views in like 24 hours, and from there, things just snowballed."

"I remember that video! It was everywhere on my feed for days. What do you think it is about your content that connects with so many people?" Freezy added in, by this point y/n’s nerves had subsided massively, her body language relaxed more, she stopped playing with her long brown hair as much and she allowed to self to sink back on the sofa a little bit more.

"I think a lot of it is just about being relatable. I try to tap into those everyday moments that everyone experiences but maybe doesn’t talk about openly. Whether it’s dealing with awkward social situations, struggling with mental health, or just the weird quirks we all have—if I find it funny or interesting, chances are someone else will too."

"And you’re not afraid to get personal, either. You’ve shared a lot about your own life and struggles. Was that a conscious decision from the start?" Chip was now coming in with a more personal question, it was one of the ones they had shown y/n at the start so it didn’t come as a shock and she was ready to answer it.

"At first, not really. I was just making content that felt natural to me. But as I started getting more followers, I realized that people appreciated that openness. I think it helps people feel less alone when they see someone else going through the same things they are. It’s therapeutic in a way, for both me and my audience."

"Has that openness ever backfired? We all know the internet can be a brutal place sometimes." Cal already knew the answer to this question, it was something all content creators needed to know how to toe the line.

"Oh, for sure. I’ve had my share of trolls and negative comments. There were times when it really got to me. But over time, I’ve developed a thicker skin. You have to, in this line of work. At the end of the day, I try to focus on the positive feedback and the amazing community that’s been built around my content."

“And you definitely have at least one massive fan in this office, apart from us a certain Mr Lenney always comes in and shows us your videos,” Chip added and as him and Cal had a little laugh about it.

“No way really?” Y/n tried to laugh along and tried to seem like she was calm and just going with the flow but on the inside her heart was beating faster, Will? That beautiful blue eyed boy who’s content she had been watching for years? He liked her stuff?

“He’s also single now so feel free to drop downstairs to his office once you’ve finished here, I bet he’ll go wild! Anyway enough about the lanky Geordie idiot what does the future hold for Y/N? Are you sticking with TikTok, or do you have other plans in the works?" Chip asked, y/n was grateful that the conversation had changed now, although she was now thinking some thoughts about that Geordie male that she could never talk about in public.

"I’ll always have a love for TikTok, but I definitely want to branch out. I’m working on a YouTube channel right now, and I’ve been talking to some brands about collaborations. Maybe even a podcast—who knows? The possibilities are endless, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me."

"That’s awesome! We’re sure whatever you do next is going to be huge. Before we wrap up, any advice for aspiring creators out there?" Cal asked as the podcast was about to wrap up.

"My biggest advice is just to be yourself. Don’t try to imitate what’s already out there. People are drawn to authenticity, so find what makes you unique and run with it. And most importantly, have fun with it, if you’re not enjoying what you’re doing, it’s not worth it."

"Wise words! Thanks so much for joining us today, Y/N. It’s been a blast having you on." Chip smiled

"Thanks for having me, guys! This was a lot of fun."

“You did really well, you should be proud of yourself,” Cal smiled giving y/n a small hug.

“Thank you so much, I’ve never done a Podcast before and I was really nervous but you two made me feel really welcome so thank you,” y/n told both of the boys sincerely. There was a little small talk but then Chip and Freezy needed to leave as they had a meeting. Y/N thanked them again and made her way downstairs, she momentarily paused remembering what The Fella’s had to say about a certain someone. She continued down the stairs, pulling out her phone ready film a TikTok when she felt her body collide with something.

“Oh my God I’m sorry,” y/n cried as she looked up and saw a male, dressed in all black, a mullet on top of his head, smile on his face and an iced coffee in his hand, it was him.

“No harm done. I didn’t expect to see you here,” his northern accent thick, as if often got when he was excited.

“Oh I’ve just filmed a Podcast for the fellas. I’m Y/N,”

“Oh I know who you are,” Will’s smile got even bigger, y/n tried to push back a blush.

“I just didn’t want you to think there’s a weird fan running around all of your offices,” y/n joked. Will sipped his coffee slightly smiling.

“No, I know who you are. Hopefully the guys were nice to you?”

“Oh they were, they erm…” y/n hesitated for a moment to think about if you wanted to say the next bit but there was a spark in her which told her to go for it. “They said you might be a bit of a fan?” y/n asked cheekily, biting her bottom lip slightly with a smile. Will sighed.

“Those fuckin’ morons. I do enjoy your TikTok’ yes.”

“It’s okay, I’ve been known to binge your videos too. And not for James,” y/n added. Will’s eyes sparkled.

“Well that’s new. Say, what are you doing now?” Will asked, his smiled dropped a little bit and he started to play around with the straw in his drink, y/n shook her head.

“Nothing really.”

“Fancy joining me for a coffee?” Will asked, trying to steady his voice, he was doing a good job of it, he looked very calm and cool. Y/N smiled, her heart beating out of her chest.

"dailyiiwheelship" is a blog where I spin an ii character wheel twice, and post about whatever ship comes from it!

For some info on the creator, I use any pronouns and am a minor! For privacy reasons, I've decided to identify with the little mascot I've made for the blog. (Not sure what to name them yet, like... Prizey or Prize Wheel-y or something) you can see them in my profile picture and banner!

Some Basic Rules for/Notable Things About the Blog:

Most rules are just for me, (for example: I am not allowed to share my own opinions on the ships I post, for obvious reasons) but there are a few things for any followers or viewers of the blog.

Any hate to me or others over the ships generated will be deleted. Reminder that I am just spinning a wheel a few times and I never plan to say what ships I like or dislike. Obviously you are allowed to dislike or hate the ships rolled, but I prefer you not attack anyone over their opinions.

It's true that the wheels aren't spun just twice 100% of the time. I usually skip Bot and the Cherries, (primarily due to age reasons, I myself am unsure of their ages and decided it was better to leave them out) and I will reroll if it lands on a character that has already been rolled twice before. I will also reroll if what I land on is a proship or a ship that has already been posted.

Minor, Christian, Ex-suicidal, struggling with self harm, Have several physical and probably mental problems, BUT here to help where I can

Minor: i am a minor, 16 to be precise. And to be honest, i domt care what ysll do here. I dont care if youre mean or nice, or anything. If you help, thank you so much. If you dont, well im still glad youre here. The only real rule is please dont be sexually explicit or freaky in thst nature. This is a serious blog to me. Christian: I am a Christian. I have grown in religion, yet only in the past 2 years have i really grown closer to God. My past life was... terrible in a sense. Not because of family or friemds, just myself. God saved me countless times from Satan, from myself. In still figuring out some things, still wondering about my purpose... but hopefully things will be cleared up soon. Ex-suicidal: i will explain explicitly so beware- I've attempted may 25th 2024 i belive. It was a Saturday, and it was by attempted overdose. I tried with 55 pills (a variety), thinking that might be enough. But surely it wasn't, and i lived. If taken 5-10 more though, then things would've been serious. Anyways, I'm still somewhat affected by it. I can't take pills without feeling gross after, and any mention of suicide or even the words related to it maks me a bit uncomfortable. Still struggling with thoughts on my life, but i will not attempt again. I wouldn't dare. Self Harm: Started this around January February last year (2024), and just progressively grew worse... was first hangnail picking then using nail cutters on my skin, then tweezers, box knives, and carving knives. spread all over my body in small splotches; arms, wrist, thigh, ankles. Its grown so bad that i feel no affects of it any longer. No pain, yet also no relief. It's an addiction in trying to stop... i am getting help though. Ill put a "time since relapse" cohnt up there, as you have seen Problems: ive got suspected autism and adhd, and I'm actually gonna get a psych evaluation for this soon. But anyways, also suspected depression. Was also diagnosed with coccygodynia (chronic tailbone pain) after an accident, and overall i have shrimp posture. Not kidding about that too, it's fucking terrible. Also I'm quite overweight and it's a self conscious thing. Plus my jaw problems... I've got plenty things wrobg with me physically as much s mentally. Helping: yeah I made this alt account to get help, i do need it... BUT im also here for you guys! remmeber always that you are loved, people care for you! i dont wanna give the cliche "life gets better" shit, because sometimes it doesnt. But just because it doesnt get better doesnt mean it will never. I care for you and yall can talk to me, Ill try my best to help where I can. Remember again! Writeblr Reintro

Now that I am free from tumblr purgatory, and actually have some free time, I figured I may as well reintroduce myself!

I'm Steph, legal adult and she/they queer living in the mildest climate in Canada. I write pretty much exclusively sci-fi and fantasy, and I fill my casts of characters out with mostly ladies because I am really tired of hearing about dudes! I have five main WIPs I'm rotating around in my mind at any given moment:

The Silent Island of Crow intro post A forum RP currently being reworked into book formatting, it's about a bunch of weirdos getting up to shenanigans and dealing with threats from their pasts and elsewhere. Started really juvenile and grew to be more serious in tone, jarringly so, but there's still some interesting kernels in there...

The Island of Crows intro post ...So my best friend and I are taking those kernels and making something that's a little more consistent and in line with where our writing skills are now! Currently in the planning stages, but the core of it will remain the same: A bunch of weirdos getting up to shenanigans on an island they've all been pulled to for one reason or another.

The Starcrossed Cycle intro post The solo adventures of some of the characters I am going to be bringing to the Island of Crows, before they actually get there. Iradurel is a criminal frozen in time, and Ryla is the monster hunter that finds and frees her. The two of them will come to realize that this is not the first time they've been pulled into each other's orbits.

Abyssal Scrutiny intro post Look, I saw Power Rangers at a formative age, so super sentai shit is always at the back of my mind! So this is my take on the genre, where a group of people are granted powers from a mysterious source, in order to fight against eldritch abominations in some sort of parallel realm. Only, as Morgan uncovers, there is more going on than just fighting monsters of the day.

The Moons of Boryarlta intro post This started life with the intent of being a lesbian rewrite of a mecha anime, but has spiralled into an unholy hodgepodge of sci-fi genre nonsense. Stuck in a dead end job just trying to make rent, Cass didn't think she'd ever have the chance to leave her hometown, let alone her planet. But then she's captured and thrown into a gladiator arena on another world, and her life just gets weirder from there.

Beyond those, I have a couple random ideas that are percolating, so I may have more to add in the future. But for on here, I am always down for tag games (lol just late to respond to them!), love to hear about all the weird shit that people are writing about outside of the traditional publishing scene, and reblog a lot of images and words that remind me of my WIPs (I try to keep my tagging system organized). Hello, mun here! So I've been debating on whether or not I should really post this, but considering that this is my blog so therefore I've got nothing to really debate about to begin with if this is about boundaries I'm talking about.

So allow me to make something clear. I love roleplaying, roleplaying as Percy, my ocs, you name it. I adore every one of my followers, Im glad you all stuck around.

But.

There are times where a few lines get crossed and while I admit that I myself should have said something whenever that happens, to me it should be somewhat clear to someone else that they go a step too far. Not everyone works that way, true, true. But it's good to ask whether you're going too far or not

So allow me set the next few boundaries and reminders:

1. I'm not the real Percy Jackson

I think this speaks clearly by itself. I'm not the actual Percy Jackson, I'm an actual person behind the screen who got themselves dragged into an RP group that was supposed to fun but ended up being am experience I wouldn't even wish upon my worst enemy. I'm someone who could easily leave this RP account dead and never return to it but decide not to because this account is a comfort to me.

As a matter of fact, I’m not just Percy, fyi. My life doesn’t revolve around only roleplaying as Percy, so I’d appreciate it if you didn’t only see me as Percy but also as someone who’s just as much as a human as anyone else. I’ve got plenty of more blogs that I’ll tag in my intro later, because this ain’t the only blog I’m ’dedicated’ to.

Another thing I'd like to add is that even though I don't own or am Percy, that doesn't mean I'd like it if you control my actions. Don't make Percy do something or throw something, or anything for that matter, it's me that's roleplaying him so I'll make him do whatever I want to do whether it's a slap or a hug.

2. Lore with Percy

Listen, I've let this slide in the past and said nothing about it, but that was a mistake to do. So let me be clear; I'm not required to go along with whatever lore you have with Percy, because again, I'm not the actual Percy Jackson. Whatever you have with your OC and Percy, that's cool, but I say this with all due respect. If I'm just not comfortable with it or I'm not "going along with it like you want me to", take it to c.ai or google documents. Sounds harsh, sounds rude, but that's just how it's gonna be if I’m not okay with what you have in mind for him.

3. Ships

Okay, let me be clear. I am a multi shipper, and while I don’t like Percabeth and prefer Jercy, any ship with Percy if any rp would like is just fine. Perleo is absolutely welcome here, trust. Just a friendly reminder that Im not forced to go along with your preferred ships, so if you’re expecting mostly Percabeth on this blog then sorry to say that it won’t happen as much considering that only happened because it was required to from my former RP group.

4. My blog, my rules

I recall I’ve gotten a few anons saying that there are a few things I’ve made Percy say that he’d ‘never’ say, while yes, the way I used to RP him was ridiculous and I’ve made an effort to fix it. However, I’d like to say that considering this is my blog, therefore Percy has the headcanons I give him and so he’ll be a lot more different than the canon Percy. Some of those headcanons are based off of things I see back in myself, so he’s somewhat of a self insert in this case. But he’s still Percy, just molded differently by having added my headcanons to him.

I’m not saying I own Percy, I don’t in the slightest. I’m just saying that this is how my Percy will be on my blog and you’re allowed to disagree with my headcanons, just a friendly reminder that they’re headcanons and not something I think is actually canon. This Percy is slightly older, in some timelines he’s engaged, this is just how I see Percy after a few years. There are plenty of other Percy blogs out there if you don’t like this one.

5. NSFW

Gonna be honest, I’m known to have a dirty mind, so there are moments where Percy will say something suggestive, but that’s quite literally where it ends. Maybe he’d do something suggestive but not so far that it ends up becoming NSFW, that’s not something the public needs to see on this blog. This ain’t a smut writing blog, it’s either fluff or angst, that’s it.

6. Other Canon Characters

So, listen, I project what I have onto Percy and so on. Any other characters, like the Seven or something, those I adore and so will Percy. Nico and Will? My favorites and they will be Percy’s as well. Jason? Love him so much.

Now here’s the thing. I hate Th*lia , to the point I censor her name, so Percy will hate her too. I hate the PJO g*ds, so will Percy, including P*seidon because he’s not a good father like others say he is and I’m genuinely not arguing with anyone about that because it’s just not worth it. Absolutely love the TA and Luke Castellan himself, so there might be hints where Percy would consider joining them because (cough) Luke loml (cough).

No problem if you like/dislike these characters (well minus Luke because I’m a Luke defender haha surprise), but just so you’re aware as to why I censor their names.

7. Blocked

If you’re someone that tends to speak up their mind without thinking, whether intentional or not, I’m sorry but that’s a block from me. I’m not allowing anyone to be rude to neither me nor my friends, so I’d appreciate it if you had some common sense and choose your words wisely. I can understand that you’d want to apologize for it afterwards, but what’s done is done so you’re a little too late for apologies. Maybe I’ll think about unblocking you at some point, but don’t expect anything other than just an unblock.

8. Cussing

I have a bit of a filthy mouth so there are a few cuss words here and there, a few in Percy’s bio, too. However I promise that Percy doesn’t cuss that much, maybe at times he will but that could be when he’s really pissed off, but aside from that, no need to wash his mouth with soap.

9. Romantic Relationships with OCs

I’m all up for people wanting to pair Percy with their oc, I encourage it even, I’m shipping him with an OC of my own but we can just go along with different timelines and whatnot. One thing though, I say this with all due respect… Just don’t treat me like I’m a Percy bot on cai, because I can’t do much with dry replies and you expecting some long paragraph. That’s just not how it’s going to work, because again, I’m a human, not a bot and so it’s either ending the RP there or really trying hard to make it something until eventually I can’t think of something.

10. Jason Grace ❤️

Listen, listen… Jason has always been my favorite character and he’ll always be more prioritized by me rather than Percy considering he’s not exactly my favorite. Haha funny, roleplaying the character I dislike- yeah no I only did it because the group was desperate but I’ve grown attached to the account now and grew to understand him someway.

Anyways- Jason will definitely be the main topic on this blog because as a certified simp for him and as a Jercy shipper, that’s just how it’ll be! Jason here, Jason there… Jason everywhere! It may get annoying to some people, but again. My blog, my rules, therefore Jason will probably be mentioned a lot.
