Real Gods are Human Beings, not created by organized religion!
All religions are Man-Created,..... and they aren't for humanity because they are against human interest and instead are about following a deity God figure, and that God figure is of the higest authority over any humanitarian authority, and you are to follow it no matter what happens to receive eternal life after you die.
Which is at best an oxymoron, and at least a hoax to control the masses for one organizations desires.
The premise of all religion is that YOU know nothing about God except what He (those in control of the religion) choose to reveal to YOU,...... They know the truth, you don't!
Your whole assumption about God comes from MAN, not any supreme being, because God only talks to the hierarchy of the religions leaders, and they wrote the Bibles you read to learn about God,..... telling YOU God revealed the Bible to them through Divine intervention.
There is no proof of any of this, only their word it is true, and no God is going to reveal itself to you to assure you they are telling the truth.
It's all Hearsay,.. offered as proof without proof from the God figure,.... and if you don't believe that you are a Heathen, and therefore an enemy of the religion and should be put to death in the name of the God figure,.... and that's how religion started and spread throughout the world, through Fear of death if you didn't accept the God as real....
These were devent greedy men who started organized religion and would kill anyone who stood in their way,...... we know that from the bloody history of ALL RELIGIOUS organizations,..... they were businesses designed to get followers to support their business of selling Gods to desperate people so they could profiteer from people's fear of the unknown!
The whole ritual of religion isn't really for a God, it's for Man, because it was created by man.
Had a real Supreme being (God) created Religion you would just follow it, and pray to it without any church involved that has you pay tithe (money or its equivalent in crops, farm stock, etc.) to support the church.
I mean what use are material things to a supreme being,..... those things are only wanted by Man.
But all religions teach in their bibles "whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, everything from the earth belongs to God, and is holy to God" so here you are owning nothing and it all belongs to God, so how is it the church is made the landlord of everything? When everything is supposed to belong to God?
Organized religion is a well thought out Grift, it's like a blanket. It's cozy protection from the cruel reality that that the religion teaches is a lack of order and a decline of humanity in the world, but if you follow you'll be saved,........... saved from what? The creation of the Devil, which the church created for non-believers.
Makes a great fairy tale for children to learn to obey of suffer!
Remember that all religions revelations in their various Bibles were never a worldwide phenomenon all-of-a-sudden, they were entirely limited to small sparsely populated corners of the world in ancient times. Not exactly the best way for an all powerful supreme being that created EVERYTHING on earth to get started,...... but it is how mankind got the religion ball rolling, and then it spread like a fairy tale to gullible desperate people with nothing else to lose, because they were poverty stricken....... like most people in those times, and they desperately needed something to believe in that would give them hope.
Religion gave them that hope,... for a fee, ...... tithes!
Truth is, YOU ARE THE GOD, you are the only being in existence with your unique abilities,.... no other life form can do what you can do, NONE!
You are born of stardust consciousness from the universe, and nothing is more powerful, Nothing!
Once people realize this,.... organized religion will have to get a real job because no one will support that hoax anymore, and humanity will thrive from billions of human beings using their consciousness all striving to push the human race forward without the stain of religions bloody past of killing those who would not believe in their fairytale God!

as a native chinese, i feel like some of yall are taking the gods in lego monkie kid a bit too seriously. i understand why it feels iffy to ship / make silly content of deities that people worship irl (eg. nezha, sun wukong) but it’s a phenomenon on chinese social media too. c-netizens ship the fictionalized versions of these gods, which the gods of lego monkie kid are. they aren’t the actual gods people worship; they’re slightly tweaked versions of the book characters, just like any other chinese adaptation or retelling of jttw (and such stories like fsyy) also, no, nezha isn’t a child, in lmk or jttw or sometimes irl. just because he’s often depicted in child form doesn’t make him an immortal child. eros / cupid is often depicted as a winged baby, and he has a wife and kids. it’s basically the same thing here. nothing in lmk suggests that nezha is a child (his voice, his appearance, his personality etc. all imply he is an adult), and while he’s described as youthful in jttw, he’s already 1700+ years old by then and gods can shapeshift. people only think he’s an immortal baby because that’s a popular depiction of him, since one of his prominent myths is set during his childhood. but as long as you’re talking about the god nezha (fictionalized or the religious figure) and not the human child nezha, then that’s an adult [edit: the last sentence couldve been worded better. i would summarize it as “immortal youth nezha is a valid depiction and is popularized by mythology, but adult god nezha exists too and they are NOT mutually exclusive”]
#i’m not even here for shipping discourse ie. “you can’t ship nezha w anyone cuz he’s a child!”#i dont ship him with anyone that’s never been my focus#i just dislike misinformation#if you understand that cupid and eros are adult gods despite often being depicted as babies then why don’t you understand this#and in case i need to clarify i hate pr*sh*pping i dont support it#the fact is that any lmk nezha ship simply isn’t a pr*sh*p because he’s a full grown man#never once in the show does he act or sound like a child so why is this such a widespread belief??#i’d get it if the show was about him as a child going on his killing spree#but lmk is clearly set millennia after that#also abt the “dont ship deities” thing i understand seeing non-cn fans treat chinese gods like fairytale characters is frustrating#but to me since lmk characters aren’t very accurate to their real life religious counterparts they are not the same ppl#like i see swk fanart and think “swk the lmk character” and not “swk the daoist god” yknow#but that’s only my opinion i wont say i’m totally right i won’t argue if you’re daoist or buddhist and find it offensive#lego monkie kid#lmk#jttw#journey to the west#lmk nezha#lmk swk#lmk sun wukong#age discourse#immortal child depictions of nezha do exist that doesn’t mean the god is always a child#and in FICTION. yknow SHOWS and STORIES. not worship. if the story says he’s an adult then that’s what he is#so like. statue of baby nezha = baby#statue of adult nezha = adult. it does not mean every single depiction of nezha is a child#don’t generalize things and do not infantalize him

YA Gothic Horror
As some one who likes dark and gothic YA books I thought I would share some of my favorites
Warning, all of these books are dark and have gory themes
Also I’ll post more reviews on #museandreview
1. The May Queen Murders by Sarah Jude
Stay on the roads. Don’t enter the woods. Never go out at night. Those are the rules in Rowan’s Glen, a remote farming community in the Missouri Ozarks where Ivy Templeton’s family has lived for centuries. It’s an old-fashioned way of life, full of superstition and traditions, and sixteen-year-old Ivy loves it. The other kids at school may think the Glen kids are weird, but Ivy doesn’t care—she has her cousin Heather as her best friend. The two girls share everything with each other—or so Ivy thinks. When Heather goes missing after a May Day celebration, Ivy discovers that both her best friend and her beloved hometown are as full of secrets as the woods that surround them.
This book is one of my absolute favorite books of all time. It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s full of folk lore that small towns and farm communities often have. There’s mystery and side romance between the Ivy and her childhood best friend.
Triggers- Bury your gays, Murder, physical assault, and animal cruelty.
2. What Big Teeth by Rose Szabo
Eleanor Zarrin has been estranged from her wild family for years. When she flees boarding school after a horrifying incident, she goes to the only place she thinks is safe: the home she left behind. But when she gets there, she struggles to fit in with her monstrous relatives, who prowl the woods around the family estate and read fortunes in the guts of birds. Eleanor finds herself desperately trying to hold the family together — in order to save them all, Eleanor must learn to embrace her family of monsters and tame the darkness inside her.
This is a great book that talks about feeling ostracized from your own family and desperately trying to find your place, even in a strange family like that Zarrin’s. Once again another small town horror (are we seeing a pattern lol) where monsters far too familiar roam the woods and your own home.
Triggers- Animal Death, Child Abuse, Death, Grief, Homophobia, Mind Control, Trauma, and Xenophobia
3. The Fairytale Experiment by Amy Hoyer
A high school psychology class volunteers for “The Fairytale Experiment” to test Doctor Arthur Fae’s theory of ‘conscious travel’. Olivia Beaumont and her classmates are consciously teleported to a world of fairytales, where they are all assigned roles of heroes and villains they must play, living out the stories we all grew up with. As their journey progresses, though, they realize this experiment is darker and much more dangerous than they ever could have imagined, and right when they think they understand everything, the game is changed again. Join Olivia, Hunter, Phoebe, Jack, Wendy, and the rest of their class as they navigate the Fairytale Experiment.
I found this book of TikTok in 2020 and oh boy did I enjoy this. It’s filled with familiar fairytales like Beauty and the Beast, Wizard of Oz, and Alice in Wonderland just to name a few. We get little backstories to even some of the smallest background characters. There’s body horror and psychological horror throughout the whole book and I really home she writes a second book
Triggers- violent imagery, body horror, physical and emotional abuse, manipulation, gaslighting, captivity and control, disordered eating, and trauma related flashbacks
4. The Good Demon by Jimmy Cajoleas
Clare has been miserable since her exorcism. The preacher that rid her of evil didn’t understand that her demon—simply known as Her—was like a sister to Clare. Now, Clare will do almost anything to get Her back. After a chance encounter with the son of the preacher who exorcised her, Clare goes on an adventure through the dark underbelly of her small Southern town, discovering its deep-seated occult roots. As she searches for Her, she must question the fine lines between good and evil, love and hate, and religion and free will. Vivid and sharp, The Good Demon tells the unusual story of friendship amid dark Gothic horror.
I found this book in a resale store not long after this book came out. (big thanks to my hippy grandma who bought this for me) This is the book who created my love for books FILLED with religious imagery and trauma. Not gonna lie it’s been a minute since I’ve read this book so I can’t say as much as I can on the others.
Triggers- SA, substance abuse, animal cruelty, religious trauma, addiction, demonic possession, violence, slut-shaming, poor representation of other religions, parental neglect, and self deletion
5. My Best Friends Exorcismbt by Grady Hendrix
The year is 1988. High school sophomores Abby and Gretchen have been best friends since fourth grade. But after an evening of skinny-dipping goes disastrously wrong, Gretchen begins to act…different. She’s moody. She’s irritable. And bizarre incidents keep happening whenever she’s nearby. Abby’s investigation leads her to some startling discoveries—and by the time their story reaches its terrifying conclusion, the fate of Abby and Gretchen will be determined by a single question: Is their friendship powerful enough to beat the devil?
If you know anything about Grady Hendrix you know this man love a dark book. There’s body horror, theirs 80’s body image issues, and of course being in love with your best friend but never actually admitting it (technically it’s not confirmed but my god is Abby gay for Gretchen)
Triggers (there’s a lot)- Alcohol, Animal death, Assault, Attempted murder, Attempted self deletion, Blood, Cheating, Child abuse, Cults, Demons, Drug abuse, Eating disorders, Vomiting, Gore, Hallucinations, Homophobia, Misogyny, Poisoning, Potential SA, Racist language, Self-harm, Sexism
These book are NOT light or easy reads. They are dark, they are disturbing, and they are gory. If you need read these books, please do your research on what triggers they have (I know I listed them but just in case I missed them) I have gone into books without knowing their triggers and they were very similar to these and because I didn’t know, it was very hard to read and I had to stop (this was for school and EVERYONE in the class had to stop reading it)
Please be safe, please be careful, your mental health comes first

I understand how the Barbie movie gave a lot of people healing and was just what they needed for female empowerment in film. I didn't grow up with Barbies. I did grow up with a hidden copy of Cinderella from Disney's Wonderful World of Reading series.
I still have it. I had to hide it because my family went to a all-magic-is-bad denomination. I took this risk because Cinderella gave me hope. I had an older brother who was abusive in every way but sexual. I needed something to give me hope of a world outside my childhood hell. Then in college the live action came out and aside from being a fantastic film with amazing actors and exquisite costuming it fleshed out all the things that made Ella strong. She was so strong and yet we see her cry and never see her wield a sword. She doesn't let the world change her and that's the hardest thing to accomplish in a world full of ugly actions and wicked people.
"just because it's what's done doesn't mean it's what should be done"
And then there's this line. I don't think I appreciated until recently just how much of a feminist power statement this is. She's having a frank conversation with a man and challenging his world views. This is the exact sort of thing we need to be saying when people say "boys will be boys" or "if you're going out in that you've gotta expect that guys won't take you seriously" or that "harassment in the work place just happens if you're working around men." So what? Maybe it does! Maybe it doesn't. I wasn't asking what the standard was I'm here to challenge the current norm because it isn't humane.
But to me the key is to rein in the fighty instincts and instead approach the issues with compassion and questions rather than aggression and judgements. It's hard. It sucks. I'd much rather just yell at people for how wrong I think they are but thats selfish. I'd be doing that to make myself feel better. Unfortunately shouting at people doesn't persuade them very often.
And back to Cinderella but we can't forget the impact her challenge had on him. He doesn't know if he's ever gonna see her again and yet he not only calls off the hunt but is heard quoting her in a case he's making at the court himself. Isn't that the kind of impact we want to have? For people not just to agree but to incorporate our perspective into their daily life?

okay but last thing before i get to productive, ic things... bj’s final monologue in the film vs. his final monologue in the novel: they both hit so hard but in viscerally different ways and i love them both.
just!!! gosh it’s... it’s the wild difference between the soft, bittersweet “here is a son of yorkshire. here is one that got away” as bj walks free down the shoreline vs. the angry, vengeful “his nails in my hands and yours in my head, for that knife in my heart and this one in you -- goodbye, dragon” right before pushing laws down the stairs.
i am absolutely not normal about some of these lines.
#i think i could write pages of meta about those monologues alone and the tonal differences between film!bj and novel!bj#i think the fairytale and religious motifs paired with the suffering of a greatly damaged character scratches some deep itch in my brain.#idk idk. i dunno what to tell you. it just fascinates me so.#ok ok ok shutting up now; i'm done infodumping#out of stories [ooc];

as funny as the whole mabel grilling ford about his thing with bill is, i fully believe that girl is oblivious when it comes to actual relationships that aren't fairytale romances. she's twelve, not her fault. also, most of what we know about ford's relationship with bill comes from ford himself, and dipper was the one who hung out with him the most and read the journals religiously. however, he's also twelve. so i think that the most realistic way dipper and mabel find out about bill and ford's toxic situationship is just. dipper hearing ford complain about bill in the lab and then like four years later sitting bolt upright in the middle of the night and going. Oh My God Grunkle Ford Fucked Bill Cipher.

Sinew ripens and repairs
Like the cores of stringy pears
Please, god, let that be my purpose
Call these hands to heal, not hurt us
Bitter, deep, and holy sinew
Be enough to divinate you
Let rose lenses fill your eyes
Matches sold to freeze you alive
Tinderbox and serpent maiden
Tear-stricken and heavy-laden
Throw him down to lion den
Watch him calm and quiet them.
Bluebird calls so royally
Eggs bear you auspiciously
Pages torn like skin, cut through
All that's left to fear is you.

“I’m not going to hurt–”
May I? Ozma asked, while Summer bristled.
Don’t make this a bigger mess than it already is, Oscar muttered. But he did slide out of the way, and his aunt’s shoulders dug hard into his shoulders as she noticed the shift: as if to warn them not to say anything stupid.
“It works,” Ozma whispered, miserably.
It does!?—wait, you knew?!
There was a moment’s silence. Then Summer’s head snapped around and—oh, Ozma really did not like the way she was looking at them right now. Her eyes were shining white.
“Care to repeat that, Oz?” she said through gritted teeth.
They hunched, wringing Oscar’s hands together. “It- it– to be clear,” Ozma said uneasily, “I didn’t know… the why of it; I always assumed Salem must be–” A rasp. “But historically—grimm… cults are—well they used to be fairly—not unheard of. I… I would assume the… belief and ritual involved in propitiation served to infuse offerings with aura.”
Qrow's hackles rose at the thought of grimm... feeding off of him. Off his aura. It's a knee jerk reaction and he knew he should listen to her and what she had to say but...
Dammit, he doesn't trust that it's that easy. That they can just... give the grimm some aura to not attack. What if it's a trick or a trap or-
"I'll do it," Ruby volunteered, stopping Qrow's thoughts dead in their tracks.
"No." The word comes out before he can stop it, and Ruby levels him with a look. "We don't even know if she's telling the truth."
He hated this. Hated that he couldn't trust Summer Rose, of all people, but she's been gone for 14 years and she's not the person he knew. Or the person he thought he knew.
"Mom will show me how to do it," Ruby said reasonably. "You can be there, if you're worried. If I do it first, other people will know it's safe."
Qrow gritted his teeth. He knows better than to argue with her but...
He glared at Summer instead. "Anything happens to her, this thing is off. Got it?"

seung-mong's kinktober 2024!
gulp~ they're right behind me arent they? well... more like on top!
☆BANGCHAN☆
whats your favorite scary movie? - after a mysterious call in the middle of the night threatens to ruin horror movie night with your friends, you cant help shake the feeling that someone's watching your every move. at this point you dont know what's worse: a creepy stalker managing to sneak his way into the house, or how awkward and fidgety chan's been all evening!
includes: ghostface!bangchan x fem!reader, stalking, choking, slight knife play, blood kink, +more!
☆LEEKNOW☆
and so the lion fell in love with the lamb - after moving to romania against your parents' wishes to live a peaceful life with your dying grandfather, your dreams are plagued with visions of pale, almost shimmering skin, droplets of crimson red blood with the taste of the sweetest wine, and sharp fangs that make you sweat in your sleep. your grandfather can only urge you to pray, despite the growing dread in the pit of his stomach at the sight of the bruises that linger on your skin. not to mention the puncture wounds right by the side of your neck!
includes: vampire!leeknow x inexperienced fem!reader, stalking, religious themes, marking, +more!
☆CHANGBIN☆
not all monsters do monstrous things - changbin's been acting different lately, and you're hesitant to talk to him about it. after the accident that left him bloodied and bruised, the last thing you want to do is bring up how he's become so distant lately, passing up on opportunities to hang out, refusing your physical affection, ditching you for the new group of friends that seemed to appear out of thin air. but when he stands you up on your birthday dinner on Halloween, you know he's crossed the line!
includes: werewolf!changbin x fem!reader, childhood best friends trope, depictions of gore and violence, size kink, manhandling, strength kink, + more!
☆HYUNJIN☆
its amazing, the love inside, you take it with you - finally, a space of your own! a safe space for you to practice your spells without accidentally setting your mom's heirlooms on fire. a safe space for you to brew your potions without your mom complaining about the smell and how you're doing it wrong (you've figured). a safe space for you to chat with your cat companion, milo, without your mother rolling her eyes. a safe space... with an awkward, clumsy, GOSSIP of a soul with unfinished business!
includes: ghost!hyunjin x witch fem!reader, voyeurism, pervy hyunjin, subby hyunjin, femdom raahhh, overstimulation, dacryphila, +more!
☆HAN☆
you could be happy here, i could take care of you. i wouldn't let anybody hurt you. we could grow up together! - han thinks hes seeing things. he usually enjoys camping by himself, but when a bright light and a high pitched noise makes his head throb and his nose bleed, he genuinely thinks he could die. now he REALLY thinks hes seeing things because.. is that someone falling from the sky? after deciding to sleep on it, he meets you. and uh, oh yea. he's definitely seeing things!
includes: loser nerd!han x alien fem!reader, subby hanji, han jisung is a SIMP LOSER, bondage, use of some kind of aphrodisiac, choking, +more!
☆FELIX☆
absence makes the heart grow fonder…or forgetful - never being one to believe in fairytales, you were the only one in your village brave enough to explore the thick woods across the train tracks just south of your home. finally, a place where you can think in silence, with no one to disrupt your writing. when the creatures of the forest begin to make themselves known to you, you ignore all the signs telling you to run. especially when the so-called evil trickster fairy is the most beautiful boy you've seen in your life!
includes: faery!felix x fem!reader, kinda inexperienced felix, lowkey corruption kink (litrally if u squint), felix has wings (that r sensitive), overstim, +more!
☆SEUNGMIN☆
this is true love- do you think this happens everyday? - seungmin is too young for this, he thinks. the youngest prince to take the crown in centuries, and the war between his kingdom and the kingdom of the forest is intensifying. his people are going missing, and he has no idea what to do. it does not help that the king of the forest scares him shitless. he turns to you for help, the last witch of your line- you can thank his family for that!
includes: prince!seungmin x witch fem!reader, kinda enemies to lovers (the trope belongs to him i fear), hatefucking, biting, bondage, +more!
☆JEONGIN☆
we all go a little mad sometimes. haven't you? - you really should have filled up your gas tank. your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and the storm outside only further dampens your spirits. its dark and empty for miles, besides the little light that flickers on the side of the road. you brave the journey on foot, shivering, and soaking wet. your heart drops when you see the shelter, old and run down. thank god the young gentleman inside is kind enough to offer you a bed for the night!
includes: serial killer!jeongin x fem!reader, primal play, fear play, choking, knife play, jeongin is really rouch, +more!
☆INTERLUDES☆

I'm Czech.
Hell is depicted in many of our fairytales as a place where genuinely evil people end up. Not sinners, for noone is free from sin. But people who cause intentional harm to others, oftentimes for personal gain.
Not even hell itself is without it's flaws, claiming souls not meant for hell. Those are, after the devils realise their mistakes, sent back to earth to continue their lives.
The devils themselves are not devious creatures, oftentimes they try to be helpful and aid mortals.
Uriáš in "Anděl Páně" (The angel of the lord) or Čert In "Princezna ze mlejna" (The water mill princess) are only two of the many devils In our fairytales who are devious or pull pranks at worst.
It'd be a sin for me not to mention the wonderfully written "S čerty nejsou žerty" (There’s No Joking with Devils) where the story is centred around a good man making deal with hell to punish evil people.
The point I'm trying to make is that everyone's depiction of hell will always be different.
For me as a Czech, hell is not a scary place, and in some cases, I wouldn't mind paying them a friendly visit. It's a place where those who cause harm, who are genuinely deserving of a punishment end up. And it brings me comfort.
#i should add that over 57% of czechs are non religious#and those fairytales are big part of our culture#of course i am not speaking for every czech on earth#this is only my view on thinfs
