From the article:
For Brother Xavier Boutiot, treasurer of a Benedictine abbeyin central France, pulling the abbey's investments from fossil fuels was an obvious step. Committed to the “Green Church” initiative for four years, the Olivetan monks aimed for consistency in all aspects of their community life. “Financial investments have an ecological impact that is 25 times greater than our daily actions!” emphasized the treasurer. To embark on this ecological and financial transition, the abbey had to scrutinize its investments, which was not straightforward. “The financial world is so opaque for basic investors like us, who don’t have access to all the information,” explained Boutiot. “We called our banks that were not on board with this direction, explained our reasoning, and applied some pressure by saying, ‘Either you support us in this approach, or we’ll switch banks.’” [...] The reasons to divest from fossil fuels are not only ethical but financial: the International Energy Agency predicts fossil fuel use will peak before 2030 and then decline. Religious institutions, managing $3 trillion globally, have divested from fossil fuel companies more than any other sector, aligning their investments with their values.

A little snippet from my story, St Benezet’s Basement, Tintin and Chang’s first case together since Chang came around to Belgium to study!
It’s their first night going undercover at St Benezet’s, a Catholic boy’s school that has had four students go missing. Chang experiences a bit of culture shock, and Tintin opens up a little about his upbringing.

Note
Plural with a weird relationship to religion culture is having Jesus Bible hanging around and you can’t tell if he’s an introject or something spiritual or whatever. Man’s just there

I saw the children of God As they walked on slovenly by
this is concept art for a pmv, i am not sure yet if I’ll make it but if you guys like this then I’ll try! The idea is that mothwing will be drawn in water, and cats that believe in starclan can walk on water. There would be a few scenes of hawkfrost, probably trying to drag Mothwing into the water deeper, and things like that. I want to focus a bit on the broken code and starless clan mothwings too, like with willowshine’s death. anyway! let me know what you think ;__; !

there's too much animosity towards queer people who want to practice their faith/spirituality, both within their respective religions and within the LGBTQIA+ community.
we need to protect and lift up our queer siblings of faith.
our queer Christians.
our queer Jews.
our queer Muslims.
our queer Hindus.
our queer Buddhists.
our queer Sikhs.
our queer Baháʼís.
our queer Wiccans/Pagans.
our queer Shintos.
our queer siblings of indigenous/folk faiths.
our queer SBNR siblings.
our queer siblings of whatever religion/spiritual systems they observe.
you're all beautiful and valid and loved and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 💖

So here’s my take on Him (PPG):
He’s the devil, we all know that and that’s why the viewer can’t know his real name, cuz it’s a a children’s cartoon. And as the devil himself, he isn’t female nor male. He’s both and neither, cuz he isn’t human nor from our world. I think when he’s calm, he puts on a feminine side, because usually calmness (niceness) used to be associated with being feminine and rage was associated with being masculine. He has a “he” pronoun, because we all know the “true nature” of a demon/ devil, which is evil and angry (masculine traits in old media). So “him” fits much better, because that’s what he “truly is”. He just hides under his feminine mask (as the devil would hide his true identity and seem charming).
He wasn’t supposed to be a queer caricature. (That’s not a fact, but I want to see it that way.) He was meant to represent an evil hiding under a disguise (like old cartoons usually did). However the community claimed Him because of his traits and because he’s a super cool villain. And a FRICKING icon. And I think people will forever view him as a queer character, so we might as well embrace him.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that I was legitimately raised in a fucking cult. Baptisms for the dead? Secret rituals done in specially set apart grounds to unite families for eternity? Forcing children to make a decision that will impact the rest of their lives when they're eight years old and indoctrinated? What the fuck even was that?
