im gonna start posting fanfic recs btw whenever i find good ones. both here and my (awfully barren) 18+ account. because there are so many good fics out there with so few hits and fewer kudos and sometimes no comments period and it SUCKS because i REALLY LIKE THEM A LOT.. and i hope that by linking them here and yelling at everyone to COMMENT DAMMIT they might actually do it

seriously though any comment means a lot. most people who read a fic don’t even give a kudos. even if the fic wasn’t top tier, if you didn’t dislike it, hand over some kudos!! and if you liked it, comment!!!! even if the comment is one singular heart emoji it will be appreciated. if the comment just says “great fic!” the author will be happy. your comment doesn’t have to be this long winded gushing or analysis.

so many authors quit writing or lose motivation because the comments are few and far in between or just sometimes nonexistent. trust me when i say authors don’t care about how long or cool or smart sounding your comment is i promise!!!

i hope that mmmaybe recommending fics and telling people to comment might help fics i really like get more support maybe. and i, points at you reading this, hope that you will listen!!!at least a little….at least sum kudos….

Who wants to read a piece of a crackfic that only lives in my head about tf animated megop?

Optimus wasn’t exactly paying attention to what Megatron was saying during their fight but that didn’t mean he wasn’t annoyed. It slipped out of his intake without any thought really.

“Ugh, nobody cares” Bumblebee giggled somewhere behind him and Megatron scowled.

“Be silent, keep your forked tongue behind its teeth, I have not passed through fire and death to exchange words with a witless worm”

“Blow me” was his equally eloquent response.

Megatron could tell it was an insult and Optimus knew he knew but he also knew megatron didn’t know exactly what it meant. It was a human insult, not a cybertronian one. 

None of the decepticons really got it. But all the autobots did.

Bumblebee was in hysterics, clutching his middle as he laughed ‘like a hyena’ Optimus believed the human saying went. He was laughing so hard Optimus would be worried about his need for air if they needed air. 

Bulkhead laughed too but Ratchets glare was enough to silence him and Prowl simply sighed. Face in his hand as he looked to the sky, as if asking Primus for patience. 

‘Fair’ Optimus thought.

Megatron was still glaring, likely trying to figure out what the insult meant while Blitzwing decided to go for a more direct approach.

“Vhat does that mean?” His icy personality asked. 

Bumblebee, still laughing, rose to his pedes to answer (he’d fallen during his laughing fit and hadn’t bothered to get up).

“Oh! C’mere, c’mere, it-hehe, it means” he whisper/laughed it to Blitzwing’s audial when he leaned down. Blitzwings face spun rapidly before settling on random.

“Ahahahaha!!”

“Ha! Hahahah!!” Bumblebee started laughing again and soon the both of them were on the ground, vents staring to kick in from their laughing fits.

Megatron looked at the two, fight fully forgotten for the moment. Blitzwing was hitting the ground repeatedly as he laughed and Bumblebee was practically rolling and kicking his feet. Essentially they were in hysterics.

Megatron wasn’t the only one, everyone had now stopped to stare.

“Blitzwing “ Megatron growled out “what does that mean?”

Oh he really didn’t want to know.

“He just told you to suck his spike!” Random yelled and then got back to laughing.

Megatron startled, staring at Optimus, optics simultaneously wide and glaring.

For his part Optimus merely shrugged.

Somewhere behind Megatron, Starscream started cackling and Lugnut gave an offended gasp.

Megatron looked very angry now and, well, Optimus was so annoyed that this fight was happening right now. At the same time as the premier of the first live tour of the world’s largest archival library. So what he said next also just slipped out.

“If it helps I wouldn’t actually let you”

“What” 

Okay, 1) why does he look offended? And 2 )how can he make it worse?

“Well, you’re old” 

Starscream trips over his pedes laughing, falling on his aft and ‘gasping for breath’ so to speak.

“I-! I am not old you insolent brat. I am experienced”

“Because you’re old?”

Belated and somehow on my sideblog instead, how curious! A mystery!

Which means you get a mysterious bird! Wrentits are one of those birds that are unique among American species - their closest relatives are now thought to be the Asian parrotbills (so not wrens, not tits) with no other relatives anywhere in the western hemisphere. Both males and females sing, and song is actually the most reliable way to determine the sex, because both develop the same breeding characteristics as each other which is WILD.

See, during the breeding season, most birds that incubate will develop a brood patch - an area of puffy, fluid-filled featherless belly skin for heat transfer to the eggs. In most songbirds only females do this but males also will for those species where both parents share incubation duties. However, in basically all songbirds, only males develop the cloacal protuberance, a swelling of the cloaca to facilitate sperm transfer. In Wrentits, females also do this. Why? ???? Well we have no idea.

Anyway they're one of the most bizarre birds I've ever worked with and I have to love them for that. This one I banded on the Northern California coastline in 2018.

as someone who has nothing more than a basic high-school understanding of physics, this is how I see all the physics stuff going on in the recent bsd chapters.

(AGAIN I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ACTUAL PHYSICS THIS IS JUST WHAT'S MADE SENSE TO ME DON'T KILL ME)

(I only make this diagram because I feel like it makes sense to me but now I'm starting to doubt that I actually understand it and just think that I know what's going on. so I've made an explanation so that hopefully if I am wrong, someone can tell me)

one more note as well: the terms "infinite/infinity" and "fourth dimension" are used loosely here. I know that this is likely inaccurate, but it's just a simple generalization of how I can see it.

So there's the main 3D universe which is (obviously) length, width, and depth expanding outward infinitely in all three of those directions(condensed into a cube to model it)

It's impossible to really see the 4th dimension. The best way I can understand how I see it is by lining up these 3D planes/universe onto this plane behind it.

The "4D" plane drawn here(I know it really isn't but again just for visualization/having something to see it as) doesn't have width/height/depth, it is just there. It represents time. It could even be drawn as just a line, or lines between 3D planes.

And that plane being time, you can line up the 3D planes on it like animation keyframes. (-2 sec, -1 sec, present, 1 sec, 2 sec, etc, etc.)

And also something of note, each 3D plane isn't just one second of time here. Because really, there are measurements of time smaller than a second but I am not writing all that out. Best way I can still explain it is animation keyframes.

And if you rotate this and expand it outwards a bit:

Each section represents each interval of time(or keyframe) of the 3 dimensional space, and each section is each keyframe's space(length/width/depth) in its ENTIRETY.

This plane expands through every second/frame of the third dimension. Negative infinity, present, and positive infinity.

And in perspective of recent events:

Each dot represents where Gozen(A four dimensional being) has been placed onto the timeline.

If the model was drawn to go farther backwards, it would show where Gozen was placed in the timeline to kill off Kunikida, Kenji, and Tanizaki, with the dots having line segments after them that extended until Gozen was no longer in that space of time.

When a four dimensional being attacks a third dimensional one(or goes into a 3D space), it can go in through any (x, y, z) coordinate on the "keyframe" it chooses to attack or go in from.

And put more into perspective with said events:
