cas couture is an upcoming community-based sim magazine focused on fashion. what sets cas couture apart is that we will not allow permanently paywalled cc to be featured in the magazine and aim to highlight the numerous, talented cc creators in the community :)

HOW DOES RECRUITING WORK?

we recruit on a monthly basis-- as in after each issue is published, we refresh and recruit again for the following month!

this is to keep it fun and respect everyone's time outside of tumblr! we understand scheduling needs change from month to month, theme to theme :)

for example, we are currently recruiting for our APRIL issue. if you enjoy working with us, you would simply fill out the form again when we recruit for MAY :)

RECRUITING OCCURS ON A ROLLING BASIS UP UNTIL THE PUBLISHING DEADLINE! You could sign up literally 24 hours before the publishing deadline and submit your beautiful magazine spread!

WHAT DOES THIS POSITION ENTAIL?

JOB TITLE: FASHION EDITOR.

create a minimum ONE PAGE magazine spread (dimensions would be provided to you) highlighting OUTFITS or CUSTOM CONTENT CAS PIECES (that are freely available)-- hair, makeup, accessories, anything!! the world is your oyster :)

there would be an overarching theme that would be provided to relate the outfits to! we're trialling the theme idea :)

JOB TITLE: LIFESTYLE EDITOR.

as this is a magazine-- and its primary focus is fashion-- fashion is a lifestyle :) if you would like to highlight items or decor or some sort of other .package that has elevated your experience-- your spread can also focus on this too! it can be in the form of an advertisement/ lifestyle edit-- its totally up to you!

this position would also require you to contribute minimum ONE PAGE to the issue :)

an overarching theme would be provided as guidance!

JOB TITLE: COMMUNITY AND CULTURE EDITOR.

there will also be a COMMUNITY SIGHTINGS/GOSSIP page (which won't involve actual gossip) but local simblr stories, bachelorette challenges, pack reviews, etc.! this would be a cute way to get simblr rolling again :)

this position would also require you to contribute minimum ONE PAGE to the issue :)

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO CREATE FOR C.C.?

you must be 18+ to apply

there will be a deadline to submit your content by, just because it'll be a big group effort! no hard feelings and no penalties if you're unable to get it in by the deadline, it might not be "published" in that issue :)

this is for fun!!!! pls remember that :) and also pls don't be zionists or trumpies or homophobes or racist or anything else awful because :( and that'll be another reason why we can't have nice things :(

literally all that is required of you is that you submit your magazine spread to me by the deadline :) and we're all set!

i saw your requests for wicked were open and i was wondering if i could rq some headcanons/scenarios for what some of the characters (the choice is yours!) would be like if they were jealous... (i am a sucker for this trope unfortunately ESPECIALLY if it's pre-relationship with all the yearning before a confession </3 but that's just me yapping!)

when boq sees anyone begin to start a conversation with you in any romantic sense, he is immediately THERE, like, he’s standing between you and your admirer like he's’ your own (little) bodyguard

he furthers this stereotype by making all conversations that you have with an admirer stay strictly professional

he won’t admit that he’s jealous that someone's attention is fully on you and that they sort of have your attention as well (he definitely is)

people who boq defends you from feel like he’s going to bite off their ankles if they misstep and ask you just about anything too personal

boq in general just prefers it when the person that he’s crushing on has his undivided attention, so he hates anything that draws your attention away from him

you always have his attention. why can’t he always have yours?

he’s the type to secretly gossip about a person who has shown interest in you to you

he cups his mouth with his hand and he has to get up on his tippy toes in order to reach you, while he’s glaring daggers at the person who was just talking to you

“y/n.. you know that they sneak out of class all the time, right?”

“they hate munchkins!! you wouldn’t possibly go out with them because of their bad beliefs… would you?”

honestly, if you push his buttons and tease him while he’s acting all jelly you could get him to stutter and turn red

with some hidden quips and insults sprinkled in

she will unabashedly glare daggers at any person she finds out had any interest at you

due to her reputation of being an evil witch, she also enjoys scaring away any suitors of yours

(it’s super easy for her and is honestly very entertaining to watch)

she keeps tabs on every single person who has shown interest in you

like EVERY single one

it doesn't matter if a student only glanced at you once in life sciences class, she is holding that information in the back of her head for future use

she lowkey kinda stalks anyone who’s interested in you?!?!?! (hear me out don’t hear me out)

she wants to know about the people who are desperate for your attention, so she finds out about all of their flaws

why you ask? well to warn you about them of course

“sure they’re cute, but have you heard about their hygiene habits?”

“oh, she asked you out huh? well, before you accept her invitation i should warn you, she’s dated half of the school by now.”

“yeah, but i heard that he snores so LOUDLY. you do not want or need to sleep next to that, y/n.”

yeah, some of the information is so weirdly specific that you’re often shocked by each revelation she tells you

if you asked her how she got all this info, well.. she is upfront about her behavior 🤷

at first fiyero wouldn’t be jealous at any admirer of yours (he is, he just doesn't admit it)

he would brush off anyone’s advances towards you as unimportant, despite the nagging voice in the back of his head

he thinks that any admirers that you have are below you and that you’re way out of everyone’s league, so he doesn't dwell too much on any student trying to flirt with you

he’s the winkie prince, he doesn't get jealous. if anything you should get jealous when he interacts with other people

it’s only when one day you start to begin to show interest in a student that he knows secretly likes you that he starts to worry

anytime you brought up the student’s name fiyero would immediately direct your attention elsewhere or he would bring up something that didn’t have anything to do with the current conversation

he’d get very grumpy when you start talking about them and would whine about how this person was stealing you away from him (in a platonic way, of course)

“don’t tell me that you’re going to leave me for THAT, y/n. yes, them. c’mon! you’ve already got a handsome prince’s attention, who else do you need?”

“them, really? with that hair?”

“but they're so… loud.”

“you’re loud..”

“it’s charming!”

when around you, he tries to play off all his jealousy in a joking, playful way despite quietly freaking out on the inside

he feels frustration and anger at a person for trying to “steal” you away from him

but he also feels worry, because now he’s just realized that there’s the possibility of you leaving him, and he was too much of a coward to tell you how he felt about you when he had the chance

like how dare someone look at you discreetly as if you’re a being from a whole other universe (fiyero does this), how dare they try to get all of your attention (he does this too), how dare they flirt with you relentlessly (yep. he also does this)

it isn't until you find that you aren’t actually as interested in the student as you thought before that fiyero relaxes again

but now, he’s always secretly on the lookout for anyone whose eyes linger on you for a bit longer than he sees decent

if he notices any suitor begin to start to try to touch you, or try to get you alone

yeah, no! he’s seen those moves being used before and he KNOWS where they are going to lead (*coughs* he’s done them *coughs*) that is not going to slide

now when someone begins to pull moves on you, instead of just letting it happen he often walks over and immediately makes sure that you don’t give anyone too much time

he’ll interject himself into the conversation and will administer casual touches on you every now and then. tucking a piece of hair behind your ear, brushing his hand against your back or arm, things like that. things that scream to your suitor “back off, they’re already being pursued by mwah”

fiyero will casually put an arm around your shoulders as you talk to the person who is into you. he’ll keep eye contact with the student, running his thumb along your shoulder, almost taunting them

it gets you really quiet and flustered and soon enough the student leaves you two alone

so yes, despite fiyero’s past beliefs about “playing it cool” about his jealousy, all it takes is for someone to actually catch your attention for him to flip out and become the most jealous (and even slightly insecure??) man who ever lived

g(a)linda

does not sugar coat her jealousy AT ALL

like- is super obvious about it

“oh dearest, i hope you aren’t taking any of those suitors of yours seriously. you just might begin to make ME jealous!” *releases a scary laugh and flips her hair*

when galinda is interested in someone she is very obvious about it, and honestly she’s not ashamed of it

most people would die to have galinda’s attention, so she assumes that you’ll feel the same

she sees it as almost marking her territory to others in a weird way

when people see that THE galinda upland of the upperuplands has her eyes set on someone, said people will back off

like fiyero, galinda tends to get very touchy when she’s jealous

she doesn't like when you’re attention is on someone else so she’ll do these weird things in order to get your focus back on her

her favorite tactic is to pretend to faint

so you have no choice but to drag galinda off somewhere to sit or lay down

as you drag her off, galinda is secretly looking over at the person who had been talking to you with the smuggest look on her face

nessarose

nessa gets a bit grumpy and quiet when she gets jealous

she’s really bitter about your attention being on someone else (she’s quietly thinking about slamming their face into something)

at first when someone approaches you she tries to redirect your attention back to her

if you still prioritize the person who approached you over her she’ll get very quiet and she’ll just slink off somewhere else, hoping that you’ll realize that she’s not with you anymore and go look for her

nessa can get insecure whenever she’s jealous so she’d prefer not to see you, the person that she has a huge crush on, causally interact with someone that she knows likes you

she almost blames you for having suitors??

she’ll give you the silent treatment after you’ve interacted with someone for what she believes to have been an indecently long time

“nessa, c’mon. please talk to me..”

“...”

“ness, you’re being immature-”

“OH I’M SORRY! 🙄”

she gets very dramatic about it (drama queen nessarose is very much a thing)

like- you’re literally just talking to someone else, it’s not that deep 😭

she honestly just needs some reassurance that you still love her (platonically, for now) and that you still care for her and she’ll calm down (visibly)

but on the inside she’s trying to think of ways to make sure that your suitor won’t approach you again, at least while she’s around

Words out that it’s been…6 months since you’ve been sitting on your ass, procrastinating. Maybe that why it’s so flat…

Wait…you haven’t been procrastinating?

What a shame. When B built a bridge, it all came crashing down. Well maybe, the bolts weren’t strong enough.

Persist once. Shame on you. Persist twice. The blame’s on you. Persisting is nothing if you aren’t out to persist forever. Because your persistence should result in the 3D also showing you proof later…meaning that you can’t just “stop” persisting when it’s right in-front of you. If you know what I mean.

But what’s “persisting” if you don’t take it seriously.

If you ask me, you’re too bold playing around with the only thing holding your hope for a bright future. Or any future at all.

The only way to persist is, with a tendency to kill.

Woah woah woah!! Let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here and unleash the murderers roaming tumblr.

What I mean is…murder the old state. Until it no longer exists. Replace it with your new state.

You’ve already created the monster that you call “yourself” today. So what makes you think you can’t create another one. Except, this new one will be more in your favour. Completely in your favour.

Now how do you stoop that low….into your couch. You’re leaving a dent. It’s been ages. The springs must feel a new awakening when you finally choose to get up. If you get up. Don’t you feel butt hurt? Like literally? I cant imagine. How will you be able to do anything? Instead of running on treadmills and getting absolutely nowhere, quite literally. Instead venture into your mind, and actually get somewhere. You know you create your reality. Yet you refuse to…

The old you no longer exists. The old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. And I mean literally. Get the hell off your phone, and start applying instead of scrolling tumblr searching for answers you already know the answer to.

You haven’t truly persisted if you haven’t drowned the old state in the new state. You’re somebody else now. And if you ever return to your old self, then you never truly claimed your new state. Only call yourself a success when you actually persist. And currently, by the looks of it you aren’t.

Cmon, try it. You’ll start to like who you become along the way. Wouldn’t it be satisfying to give yourself what you deserve?

Well either way, it’s not my problem what life you choose to live. Nobody’s going to shake you out of your trance when we all leave with our success stories, and you’re just…here.

And if books could kill, we wouldn’t wanna be you…since all you really seem to do is look for more info in them. It’s about time they bite your face off. You’re supposed to be attending Constance Billard/St Jude’s private school, not Hogwarts.

I hope I don’t see you here instead of enjoying your summer with your dream life. How many summers have gone by? I’m losing track. Well I guess some things never change…especially you.

TO ANWER THE QUESTION (which was “what would happen if magical met disco”:)

I think at first Magical would be weary, since he doesn’t like Fresh and people who are adjacent to him? (If that makes sense—) But then Disco from my understanding would be able to continue making small talk until he talks about something that interests Magical, who is very curious about the whole multiverse thing. (It’s a naive curiosity, he doesn’t collect info /gen )

I think just by conversing Magical would notice how Disco would want to be friends (on the contrary of Fresh, it’s more complicated but how I understand it he doesn’t want friends, however once he makes friends he cares for them (FROM MY UNDERSTANDING)) and also maybe they could?? Gossip?? Magical is curious but can get.. nosy.. and does like to gossip. So that’s the drawing, them gossiping at Ccino’s. :3 (hence the “suspense” on disco’s glasses)

Hi fligniuz, Ive been following L's case online from the beginning and I come to tumblr from time to time but I saw something below in your asks that I think I can give some info about.

So, I stayed in sb for less than a month and long after L and these friends I wanna talk about, stayed there. But I remained in contact with some of their mutual friends and ofc I asked for every bit of goss there was...

I was told he didn't seem to have any close guy friends (that's why the ask from earlier prompted me to write), there were a few former "surfbreakers" still living in HI, but, my friends at least, didn't know about anyone who stayed super close to L.

The topic that did come up was L having two female friends during his stay at SB: T and S. the thing is, apparently, T and L were closer than with the other girl, but then T got a partner and went back to the mainland. After that (and, remember, according to my friends), S and L didn't have much chemistry, but after many months, and because they were the closest to eachother in the island, they started "seeing eachother".

Something to add is that they (some of my frinds) think L and S distanced themselves from T bc S could have been a liiittle jealous of T and L's closeness during SB. Even though T was away, living her life and kind of low contact from L and from everyone by that time.

Again, I never met any of these three people, but my friends who knew them say they (L and S) never spoke publicly that they were seeing eachother, let alone dating, so it was very casual and lasted around 6 months. Also she is super smart and hard working. I think she is back to hustling hard after the initial shock of the detention.

Lastly, I have to give a disclaimer. I don't personally know them. these were the kind of gossips that went on once he was detained. some ppl from SB were and still are talking about it in reunions and gcs. and also no one is obliged to believe any part of it. I'm not going to provide any proof of my identity as I'm writing in anon mode for a reason.

this is very interesting,, obviously i don’t really like to say much without definitive proof and i respect your anonymity completely but thanks for sharing this with me anon!! i don’t think it matters to his case regardless but it is nice to have some help in filling out these little tidbits in his life

If you show interest in tea, he’ll make it a habit to prepare a cup specifically tailored to your taste. Artistic Talent- He’s skilled at calligraphy and enjoys drawing detailed sketches of mushrooms in his journal. Occasionally, he’ll sketch people too, but only if they interest him.

ASMR YouTuber Vibes-His voice is so smooth that if he ever made an ASMR channel, it would be all creepy yet oddly relaxing stuff—like “mushroom foraging in a haunted forest” or “gentle ocean sounds… with distant screaming.”

Pinterest Core Aesthetic-His room is absurdly aesthetic. Dark academia meets “I definitely know how to get away with a crime.” His bookshelves? Immaculately arranged. His handwriting? Looks like it belongs in a spellbook.

🏀FLOYD🏀 Loves Drowning People (Playfully)-If you swim with him, be prepared—he WILL grab your leg and pull you under just to see your reaction. He thinks it’s hilarious.

Unironically Loves Kid Shows-This man will sit down and watch Bluey or Dora the Explorer without irony. If you judge him, he will not hesitate to wrestle you.

Info sheet for the Human Bill design + some drawings

*had to censor because I don’t know if it would get me yeeted off Tumblr or not.

The Handyman Bill AU is actually interesting because there are multiple outcome possibilities from there…

For one, I like the idea of Bill exiting the Theraprism to find himself with most of his powers stripped away and be taken in by Soos and Melody to live and work with them in the mystery shack. I can imagine the amount of shenanigans he’d drag the Pines family into.

On the topic of appearance

Ive seen a ton of anthropomorphic Bill Cipher designs over the past weeks, and each has a cool concept with their own specialties (Spoony’s design is particularly notable). My Bill, unfortunately, looks like a middle aged, expired version of the ‘twink Bill’ from around 2015, except with longer hair. This design is different from what I had imagined it to be, so I chose to draw Bill in 3 stages (as a kid, young adult and as a middle aged man. I’ll post his younger form sometimes later) so the character design wouldn’t go to waste.

For the outfit, I just went with what I’ve seen people draw him clothed in and what I thought would look comfortable. I feel like after being trapped in the Theraprism for ‘rehab’, he would be neglectful of his overall appearance, instead of going for fancier stuff like tuxedos or coats and capes, he’d probably enjoy to wear baggy clothes you can easily throw in the washer and won’t require thorough maintenance. (He might look dusty, but he takes baths, I swear—)

They’re a few variations of what he wears while still with the totality of his powers, maybe I will give him another , more elaborate outfit. I have yet to draw a full body version of Bill where I can show his tattoos and scars—currently I must decide on what to do with his face, I have too many single-eyed ocs, and I’d like to add an original touch to him.

When would the AU in which Bill returns take place?

After the Weirdmaggedon occurred, the residents of Gravity Falls were probably still shaken by the amount of strange and atrocious things they experienced. They’re great chances they’d still be triggered when they see cipher script or anything that reminds them of the evil triangle demon.

In the case of my design for him ,and potential fanfiction outline, Bill would have returned into the dimension where the Pines family won two years after the events, so the traumatic events are fresh in their collective memory. So, Bill would be put under intense scrutiny (by everyone but especially Stan and Ford, they’d be mistrustful of him) and be forced to cover up his tattoos when at work…and in general.

Bill would have a certain reluctance to work at the shack, he’d try to scam the customers to get the sales up upon and get caught red handed at it, or try slacking off during his shifts to try to sneak in Ford’s lab in search for anything that could help him restore his power to its former glory.

The highlight of his days would potentially be to annoy the Pines family, bonding with Mabel and Dipper (being let onto their gossip and some activities they do, maybe help out with their studies as well), and ABOVE ALL, to have some alone time at night to stare at the starry sky.

Psychological traits and etc.

As for his personality, he would be a lot less flamboyant, still as sassy as ever though, perhaps grouchy from being forced to interact with ‘insufferable sentient meat sacks trapped in a cage of bones with a squishy exterior’. From the majority of cases I have observed, Bill keeps a nonchalant attitude, he is fairly collected and only truly lets out his emotions when it comes to fits of anger, jealousy or, in rare cases, sadness (often related to flashbacks of his childhood or his parents in the Euclidean world).

But what if it wasn’t the case? What if instead, Bill, as a human, would be unable to control his emotions? I had a theory that Bill Cipher has a higher pain tolerance while in his triangular, two-dimensional form partially from his powers but also because of his body isn’t entirely physical, and so it may lack several sensory receptors.

His liking for pain may be due to the fact he could barely feel anything (or plainly because he’s a masochist. Who knows.) It would qualify as a new and interesting experience for him, and he is a curious creature who also ‘efs around to find out’.

However, once he gains a physical human body, he will be faced with various problems humans have: muscle pain, bloating, cramps, eye sores, back sores, hair loss, acne, sickness, getting cuts and bruises easily…and never mind gravity, which would be a new inconvenience for a being who used to float almost 24/7.

So Bill wouldn’t be able to control his emotions because of how humans tend to feel a lot,he’d be forced to resort to masking and even then he wouldn’t be able to hold it for long. Plus, when he was a metaphysical shape, he had a bigger pain tolerance by contrast to when he gained a human body with hundreds of touch and pain receptors—Drinking with his eyes won’t be working no more, ouch!

He’d easily get a meltdown because of overstimulation (from the environment, from interaction with people he mostly hates or dislikes, and from being able to feel a lot more sensations than while in his bi-dimensional, triangular form) and have trouble regulating his body.

Additionally, Bill heavily relied on his magic powers to get stuff he needed or to protect himself, but now that a great chunk of his magic abilities would be gone , it would require more effort from him to do anything. And if he ends up activating the remaining power, the constant use of it would always backfire as his human shell isn’t made to contain the pressure of magic, resulting in cramps and stomach issues.

As a final note to this, in the show it had been shown that he is short tempered and easily leans into his emotions (especially anger) but can use his magic in order to ‘blow off some steam’. (Remember Time Baby and his whole squadron of men—except like for Blendin, getting erased?) However now, he cannot blow up a planet just because he’s having a tantrum, so he would most likely just stomp the ground while shrieking like a five year old.

Yes, when put under pressure, the evil Triangle becomes a CRYangle.

I feel like the majority of “sunnytwt” isnt even Sunny twitter. It’s just like. Rob hate twitter at this point. No one there seems to actually even care about the show or the characters, they just want to fight and gossip about whatever the fuck Rob may or may not have done until they turn blue.

Logging on to Twitter to tweet about new info about the show or fun script stuff or just make a silly little Sunny reference that relates to my life and instead it’s just incessant fighting literally makes me go like this:

we recruit on a monthly basis– as in after each issue is published, we refresh and recruit again for the following month!

create a minimum ONE PAGE magazine spread (dimensions would be provided to you) highlighting OUTFITS or CUSTOM CONTENT CAS PIECES (that are freely available)– hair, makeup, accessories, anything!! the world is your oyster :)

there would be an overarching theme that would be provided to relate the outfits to! we’re trialling the theme idea :)

JOB TITLE: LIFESTYLE EDITOR.

as this is a magazine– and its primary focus is fashion– fashion is a lifestyle :) if you would like to highlight items or decor or some sort of other .package that has elevated your experience– your spread can also focus on this too! it can be in the form of an advertisement/ lifestyle edit– its totally up to you!

this position would also require you to contribute minimum ONE PAGE to the issue :)

an overarching theme would be provided as guidance!

JOB TITLE: COMMUNITY AND CULTURE EDITOR.
