STAR WARS: Eleventh Fleet AU

Concept art for the Eleventh Fleet.

Finally got to Eli Vanto…

…however, among the Chaos of the Unknown Regions, he is better known as Eli'van'to or Ivant.

As the first human to join the Chiss Ascendancy, the future Commodore of the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet was faced with a galactic sense of déjà vu as he recalled his youth under the leadership of an equally strange, red-eyed alien in the Imperial Navy. But, if earlier Eli was an assistant in the shadow of his… friend, now the main role fell to him.

Unlike Ronan, Eli's path was not as simple as it could have been. Both Karyn’s in the Empire and Eli’s in the Ascendancy - the status of “protégés” and assistants to the Grand Admiral simultaneously gave them advantages, but also entailed no less huge problems. Perhaps Vanto had it a little harder.

From a man from Lysatra who wanted to be an ordinary, inconspicuous supply officer, he became first a commander in the Imperial Navy, and then rose again to commodore in the Chiss.

Once upon a time, the Moff’s assistant, whose name Vanto deliberately forgot, said that he would either vegetate forever in Thrawn’s shadow, or the alien would drag Eli down with him. In a sense, she was indeed right.

However, it was not Mitth'raw'nuruodo, but Eli who built his destiny. He had many chances to leave, but… well… chiss, as always, was only a catalyst on the path of human stubbornly moving forward.

And Commodore Van'to's name was indeed a name to be reckoned with in the Unknown Regions.

And a few more “thoughts out loud” about Eli…

During his ten years outside the Galaxy, Vanto never joined any Family - neither the Rulings nor the Great. This distinguished the man even from the top of the Fleet, who "renounced" their "families" to serve the entire Ascendency.

At the same time, some families still left their mark on his Chains of Honor. And many after.

The chains will become a reflection of events, the secret of one of which Eli will keep “to the grave and even below it.”

However, despite his “neutrality”, in a sense, he now has a native “person” - girl-navigator Un'hee. Syndicure doesn't give up trying to place her in any family, but chiss always refuses and prefers to remain without a “family”.

And as if in retaliation to the “oldfart from Csilla,” teenager always introduces himself in Lesser Space as Unhee Vanto.

At that time, the poor Commodore swears to High General Ar'alani that he did not swear in Basic in front of the girl. Unfortunately, he often attended such meetings with admirals Tro'omis and Ma'kro, and only give them a reason to “criff” a colleague. To which one of them then received a response from Thalias and Sacheri.

…and the price for everything is the gray hair of the Supreme General.

A quick theory on Rex:

So, I keep seeing posts about Ahsoka and Rex leading in the Rebellion (pre-Rebels), and I don’t think that happened… and if it does, it’s going to kind of feel like a retcon. Here’s why…

First, I don’t think that Rex is working for the Rebellion in the Bad Batch. I think Rex’s primary focus right now is finding his brothers, and freeing them from the inhibitor chips and the Empire. I don’t think that he’s thinking about raising an army to take the Empire on, or networking with other rebel cells to blow up garrisons or steal equipment. He may be working alongside some Rebel cells to find a means to meet his goal, but I don’t think he’s actively working towards overthrowing the Empire. He has not given me any indication that is what he is doing anyway. He seems to be completely laser-line focused on helping clones specifically.

Second, I don’t think he would have just left the Rebellion to retire to a decommissioned Republic tank on a desert planet with a few of his remaining brothers had he been involved in the fight. It was pretty clear to me that Rex had done as much as he could do in the mission he had committed himself to, and was done with it. Plus, Rex doesn’t seem like the type to leave a fight. He seems more than willing to fight to the death, even in the “Relics of the Old Republic” episode of Rebels where he basically sets up to sacrifice himself to save Kanan, Ezra and Sabine as he attempts to take on three imperial AT-AT walkers solo. At the end of that episode, it felt like he was joining the Rebel cause for the first time.

Third, I don’t think he’d leave Ahsoka in a fight. I’m going to preface this by saying that I think of their relationship as purely platonic and familial (and based on Filoni’s weird reaction to the idea of Ahsoka/ Anakin ships, he likely feels the same way). With that said, she’s like a little sister to him, and I couldn’t see him abandoning her even it he did decide to abandon the rebel cause for whatever reason. To put it another way, I don’t think that he and Ahsoka were fighting for the same reasons or for the same cause.

In closing, I don’t know that we will end up seeing Ahsoka and Rex together in The Bad Batch, and if we do, I think it will be her temporarily aiding him to the end goal of saving brothers and nothing more. She is, after all, running a damned spy network.

Annabelle Pham was born in San Jose, California and raised in an Asian immigrant household in South San Francisco. Growing up working class, her parents encouraged her to pursue her education while also helping raise her sickly younger brother, RJ. Playing softball and being a bit of a rebel, despite her shortcomings, Annabelle had the opportunity to attend an Ivy league college on a partial scholarship, which she rejected after her father's restaurant was vandalized and robbed.

Rather than use the money for school, she pushed her family to use it to repair their restaurant. Annabelle would choose to attend a 2 year college in a CTE program since it was more affordable, working part time in her family's restaurant while she searched for new employment.

While job searching, she became curious about the recruiters office in her neighborhood, and next thing she knew, she was in the army (much to her mother and father's disappointment.)

At some point, then Private Annabelle "Kit" Pham would meet CIA Station Chief Kate Laswell while fighting alongside SAC/SOG officer Alex Keller. Impressed by the young woman's resolve and improvisation, Laswell would choose Anna as one of the three women she'd first suggest to join Taskforce 141 to John Price.

While hiding from enemy forces who'd kidnapped her in a foreign city, Annabelle's quick thinking kept her alive while her teammates were delayed on their rescue.

Anna got her callsign "Gremlin" from her unpredictable and unhinged behavior thanks to her fellow Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick. Hiding in walls, crawling in vents and ambushing enemies easily thanks to her small stature and the old fashioned element of surprise.

Smart, resourceful and good with her hands, she's a loyal friend and a cautious person whose instincts are good if they aren't clouded by her own feelings. Anna is a hopeless romantic who wears her heart on her sleeve, which can be a good and a bad thing...Especially when a certain Commander seeks to exploit it.

In this au, the alternates are devil fruits who rebealled against its user, leaving them as an empty vessel for them; they are evil, and wish to destroy and consume everything that gets on their way

However, there are sum of these alternates called 'The Rebel Ones' (I will call em 'RO') who are actually good, and can be among people

𝙏𝙮𝙥𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨:

- dead children: dead individuals (who may not have a fruit) that died not fulfilling their dreams, they will eventually go if someone fulfills their dream

- GODS: powerful and mysterious individuals, they are evil but there are sum exceptions (like Nika, I'll talk bout him later)

- Rebel Ones: typically called RO, they are alternates who opposes imu sama's control, and who seek to be among humans while not hurting them

- copiers: they are alternates who are evil, they copy one person and make the others start distrusting the person, to finally reach to a point where the person cannot with the pressure anymore, and kill themselves

𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨

It can be somewhere in 1992 or 1999.

They both happen to share body, and even tho Nika is a GOD (alternate) and they are evil, Nika happens to be in the side of the RO.

Nika was a Rebel even before luffy consumed the fruit, so for luffy, when he eated the fruit Nika just was there, and then just stayed there inside of his body.

𝘼𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙗𝙤 𝙐𝙩𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙮 (𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙞𝙠𝙖)

In this au, one day after luffy accidentally eated the fruit (uta was there), shanks maked the hard decision to leave uta to garp, because shanks was going to do something really dangerous, and he did not want uta's fruit (which like in the film red, is the uta uta no mi) to rebell. Garp toked those 2 to a small town in a mountain (cuz this au is like a modern au where the islands are citys and they are now in a very big country separed in 2 parts by a big red wall with a door, and the thousand sunny is a van and the going merry is a car) known as the mountain bandits, there they met sabo and ace, and together they are the (N)ASUL siblings! (If we count Nika even though he is inside luffy's body) , also, uta ace and sabo are aware of Nika's existence.

(𝙉)𝘼𝙎𝙐𝙇 𝙙𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙨!

With luffy it all goes like in the anime, with uta he acts like he did in film red.

With Nika:

- sabo: he likes to read history books with him

- uta: he likes to sing with her (he is actually a good singer)

- ace: he like a bigger luffy for ace (Nika is older than luffy, even though they share body), they play fight a lot, but Nika mostly wins

𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙙𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙨!

They are aware of Nika too. They accepts him as like his Capitan too!

Their roles are like in the anime, also, chopper franky brook and jinbe are humans!

At sum poin before thriller bark uta joins the strawhats, making them have 2 musicians!

Also, in my au, ace did not die, but went on a long term coma (he woke up after the 2 years of training), because white beard did die, ace joins the straw hats between dress Rosa and Zou.

Chopper has a small group with uta, robin and nami called SO (Smart Ones), the group is concerned mostly on the alternates thing, and if they can dissapear or be less harmful, Nika helps him a bit.

Is like having a big brother who shares body with you (Nika has 25, and luffy 19).

Sometimes when luffy falls asleep, Nika fully controls the body, he likes to be around his friends when that happens (especially ace, uta, zoro, nami, usopp, sanji, chopper and robin) , the crew are aware of his existence, and when luffy told them they where like "uhhh, ok"

I imagine Omega as a rebel, because probably at the end of the bad batch season 3, Omega realizes that there are many clones that need help, so he ends up joining the rebels against the empire or the rebel group of Captain Rex.

After so many hours spent and long hiatuses I’ve finally finished my OC that I’ll use as a sona!

She doesn’t have great shading but I’ve tried my best.

Her name is Capitan Morgana, she’s supposed to be a space pirate (I find that concept neat). Before becoming a pirate she was in the army of the galactic empire which rules her universe (still didn’t choose a name for it), after being moved to the outer rims and seeing the misery there caused by the same government she was working for and believed in, she decided to rebel (with also her comrades), this fight didn’t go as planned and that’s how she got some of her injuries.

1) Where is mayhem in this fic? In the show he just disappears after season 1, there is a theory that he just stayed with April to keep an eye on the turtles and Draxxum and once he was defeated he went back to the council.

2) I just remembered that the movie basically confirmed that E.P.F and Bishop exist in Rise and when I think of the implications of that I get so excited and so terrified at the same time, I mean, in 2003's the guy was basically immortal thanks to alien intervention and he was never really defeated, but rebels that he reformed himself in the future. In 2012's the guy was an utrom, not much to say there. BUT IN IDW! I'll just say that I now have PTDS towards the character thanks to what he did to my baby Slash. Now, considering Draxxum plans to eradicate humanity, I don't think Bishop will be too happy AND considering his association to aliens and immortality in various iterations, I can only imagine a "he is more than he apears" situation for his version in Rise. For example: imagine if he was the firts human to enter in contact with the empyreum but insteat of giving him an extreme chage look his mutation where more hidden to the eye.

3) I'm sure one of the Capitan Piel crew members was a mermaid and they certainly don't look as human as the disney version.

Mayhem is wherever he went to during season 2. It does totally make sense that he was just watching the turtles in case Draxum pulled some shit-that being said, it makes zero sense for him to leave now, as Draxum is still active and is more dangerous than ever, but I didn't want to be constantly shoehorning him into chapters. And to be perfectly fair, Draxum wasn't completely neutralized in the show. The council put a warrant out for his arrest but he was still running around doing shit and the council just decided "well, no need to be concerned about the turtles anymore." Ironic considering how Mikey immediately started helping Draxum after that.

I'm still working on it, but I do have plans for Bishop. A lot of past TMNT characters are going to appear in some capacity or another-some of them are just gonna be little references, like Bebop and Rocksteady up at Todd's and Ice Cream Kitty being their unofficial mascot, but some are going to be important to the plot.

Bishop will absolutely not be Utrom though-I'm pretty sure the Utrom in Rise are implied to be the Council of Heads? Like, we all agree that they're Kraang, right? (you know, when I first watched this show I noticed that Draxum's face was a mask and I swore that he was a Kraang like 2003 Shredder. I like what we got but goddamn I thought I was so clever) I'm playing with how much to take from 2012 and 2003.

What-If: American Railroads — Section 3: Named Passenger Trains and Streamliners

The fact that Eva made all the goods produced in the farm accessible to everyone is so generous, and it made me love her even more. Capitan Lyme’s appearance was so interesting, and I can’t wait to see how the Rebels’ plan will unravel. It’s understandable that Eva’s taking some time to decide, since there’s so much at stake and that the First Rebellion failed. I wonder how Jack will react when he knows about all of this!

Eva puts herself to good use, using her talent for horticulture as an excuse to visit the farm and spend time there ---she did run out of space at the victor village at least that part wasn’t a lie. She plants, hires workers to raise the animals and till the fields and makes it known that all the things produced there were free to all.

Her aunt had joked and said she should try to run for office, as if they weren’t all rigged anyways. Eva could do it, if victors were allowed to use their influence for anything less ornamental, but the Capitol fears what a victor could do.

She needs a way to chart how far this trail went into Two and Eleven. There were enough ruins to provide a good enough cover, but Eva feared the beasts ---both natural and the mutts--- that roamed these borders. Even worse, what sort of hell the President would punish her with.

Eva does not risk going past the first sign of danger, especially armed with only a walking stick and small pack.

Districts were carved out in ways where you’d be in the wilds for a few stretches to deter any type of travel not sanctioned by the Capitol after the Dark Days. Her grandma remembered how towns used to be here and when the borders weren’t fenced off like that. Even the desert had towns and cities that hosted capitol and district alike.

But then the Capitol started hoarding the things the districts had and began leaving them out of the government. 13, being the more powerful district with great cities and nuclear weapons, retaliated and losing more than just the war. All dead, everything ruined and a cruel punishment to keep it from happening again.

10 had been amongst the last to rebel, their usual caution and fears of repercussions had them wait until they felt victory in their bones. If they’d known Two’s mountains were impregnable, they would’ve never rebelled.

But they had and now they’re all being punished for it 68 years later.

Eva makes her way back to the farm cautiously, careful to avoid leaving tracks that would incriminate her. She is not prepared for what she finds waiting for her on the porch.

“How?” Eva asked, fearing they’d be caught in minutes.

“You wouldn’t believe me if you knew, kid.” Tall, blonde and dressed in simple but sturdy clothing, sitting in her rocking chair to boot. Lyme, Jack’s fellow victor and mentor, had come.

“She could be our symbol.” Clemens suggests as they chat over dinner with their strange new guest.

So many traitors sitting at this table. If Shelby wanted to, he could have them all killed, but he won’t. He wasn’t Snow’s lackey like his predecessor was, he has a secret goodness he cannot hide.

Why else would he fight over Cashmere to keep her off the roster? Why else would he cover up Eva’s fling with Jack? Why else would he have the woman who took Finnick’s innocence murdered in broad daylight?

This man was one of them. She’d known it from the day she saw him.

“No, she lacks the marketability.” Plutarch Heavensbee shook his head. “She’s charming and good looking, but her story isn’t very inspiring. For fucks sake no one even bet for her, nor did she have a single sponsor.”

And while she cared for Eva, not many saw what she saw in her. Not many remember Lucy Gray Baird, especially her own district.

“Her affair with Nelson could help.” Fulvia comments only to be shot down by her boss.

“Districts hate 2, besides she killed his brother and that makes the whole thing unpalatable to everyone even us.”

Unpalatable.

Same thing Tigris was called when they fired her.

Her modifications were seen as stunning and beautiful when she was young, but when age began to take its course, she was mocked and greeted with disgusted looks even from the Capitol who once embraced her.

Coriolanus had gleefully told her why she was being fired, claimed he had received complaints from both the districts and her own protégé, Eva. The last had been a lie, Eva drunk out of her mind at the second stop of her tour had told her to her face that she loathed her for making her kill Laurie.

“She’s not your symbol because the time isn’t right yet, Heavensbee.” Shelby narrows his eyes at the word ‘unpalatable’ as well, his entire life he has been branded with that. His marriage to Grace had proved he would never be able to remove the label, not while the old families still rule. “We will worry about that later, for now we need to find ways to recruit more victors to our cause. They have sway with their own districts, most of them. So far, we have Lyme in 2, Solomons in 9 and if Lyme’s mission is a success, we may have 10 on our side.”

His idea had merit. To use the mentors and other victors to build a network of spies and agents for the rebellion they are building up, to use their influence and hatred for the system to gain followers.

An uphill battle for those in districts loyal to the capitol and a walk in the park for those who aren’t. 10 needed more pushing than its counterparts given how close they are to here, but it was not as impossible as Lyme getting her people to listen.

Jack and his mother had some standing, Atia Nelson worked inside the mountain and flirted with treason. He would join them if Eva got him to, just like Rose, the stylist for 9, convinced Alfie to meet with them despite the risks.

Aveline trusted Seeder and Chaff and the restrictions 11 had didn’t need much pushing to join them. They’d be the first to rebel just as they had done 67 years ago.

The time was coming, Tigris could feel it in her bones.

“How far does it go into your district?” Eva asks the blonde mentor who has yet to convince her to join her.

“Can’t tell until you give me your answer, Smith.” Lyme takes no shit from anyone, made her a force to be reckoned with. That combined with her training made her unmovable.

“Its not just me who dies if this fails, ma’am. I don’t follow blindly, I need to know everything and see if its worth the risk I’m taking.” Eva knows they need a better future with the games gone and Snow dead, but it’s too much of a risk.

They didn’t win the first time, what makes them think they can win on the second try?

“The dinner Mr. Shelby had you get Clemens to organize, it wasn’t just for gambling purposes. They’re all like us.” Lyme gives no hint at her patience wearing thin as she answers Eva’s questions.

“Cardew is Snow’s great-niece.” The dark haired victor points out.

“By marriage, no blood relation and whatever she’s seen behind closed doors was enough for her to join. Shelby is not like Luca, Tigris is his cousin and you don’t seem to have a problem with that.” The blonde points out.

Touché.

“Does Jack know?” Eva finally asks the question that’s burning in her mind since Lyme arrived.

“Not yet.” Maybe not ever, not if you aren’t there. Lyme doesn’t say it, but Eva can hear it just the same.

Jack may hate the games, but he has his family to think of. To join you must accept you and your family could die in the process and even that those deaths will be in vain.

The cemetery was full of brave and drunks, her grandma was fond of saying, said so when Alan volunteered in Gabriel’s place and the train took him to his death.

But Eva’s been dead since that train took her to the glittering slaughterhouse beyond the mountains, Eva’s cousins consider having children something unthinkable thanks to the games and Tigris did manage to have a winning strategy, as loath as she is to admit it.

“I agree to join you on one condition. You must bring Jack next time you visit.”

Does this mean I have to come up with a new set of 5 things? Here we go:

1) I still got my fansubbing skills! I’m about 30 minutes in to translating the Japanese Rogue One dub for Operation Kibou, and apparently I’m just a tad faster than I used to be! Though it might be because I already have the context clues needed to find and confirm the words they’re saying LOL

2) I like that I finally graduated! Things are looking up

3) I like that I still know more about certain things than my bf, specifically stuff that are normally bits of knowledge that is associated with men/masculinity. It’s nice to be able to help him with stuff like computers, and teaching him about why cars do the thing. I owe it to my previous boyfriends, as well as my dad, though, but whatever, i still learned, mmkay?

4) My speaking speed. I always talk like i’m in a rush and I know that’s a turn-off for potential employers and older people, but it’s just nice to know that I can speak pretty quickly and people (for the most part) can still understand me. Which brings me to my next bit:

5) I like the clarity and reach in my voice. Honestly, what is an indoor voice? I mentioned to a Filipino Navy vet that my family hails from Pampanga and she goes, “You’re kapampangan? NO WONDER YOU’RE SO FUCKING LOUD���. (i have no shame). but my voice carries, and SDCC keeps using that to their advantage to do line management >__> which i guess is some kind of compliment? It’s just nice to know that i never have to repeat myself unless the words themselves were confusing af.
