Wrote a lil thing based on @bonefries's franco reagent post!! bc the design inspired me a lot, it does feature a reagent coyle but he's not based on any design, just some speculation and hcs i talked abt with friends!

FRANCO REAGENT AU FICLET

Franco’s leg bounces under the table, eyes burning into the side of a reagent’s face. This dark haired prick has been making quite the stink as of late. It’s been quite the toss up, a good amount of people can’t stand the guy, but he’s found his group. Enough that they tend to stick together and make it hell for everyone else. Franco’s heard rumours that the guy used to be some sorta cop. It would make sense, the guy’s a total blowhard. 

Part of him is jealous. 

Okay, all of him is jealous but that’s only because the guy’s got people flocking to him like sheep. 

In here, Franco’s got no power, no gun, no nothing. The occasional reagent’s tried to chat with him, but it’s always with that look of pity and desperation.

He’d rather be alone than team up with some pussy.

He waits, watching one of the reagent’s goons exit the room and head over to the cafeteria. Franco keeps his head down as they pass by and he makes his move. He gets up and walks down the hall, spotting the asshole’s name written above his room.

Leland Coyle. 

If he had any doubt the guy was a cop, it’s gone now. The room is full of propaganda and police paraphernalia. He wants to roll his eyes at the sight. Those pigs always get a bit jittery if they can’t get a taste of that leather boot.

Franco steps over to the door, sniffling and clearing his throat. There aren’t any locks on the rooms so he pushes the door open. Coyle’s back is turned to him, fiddling with some shit under his bed. Franco’s tempted to try and attack him while he’s distracted, but he decides to wait. His work before this had a lot to do with violence, but there was also time for talking. Sometimes words held more power than spilling blood did. Though, it’s still pretty fun to shoot someone in the face.

God, he misses Lupara.

“Hey, you the cop?” He folds his arm, hoping to exude confidence despite his stature and pounding heart.

The man pauses, looking back over his shoulder. His eyes are cold before he pulls his sunglasses down over his face. He stands, kicking some box under the bed. Even behind the glasses, Franco can tell the other’s sizing him up. Then Coyle laughs, the sound making a pit in Franco’s stomach and his eyes grow hot. He blinks, fighting the already short temper he has.

“I asked you a fuckin’ question!” Franco spits back.

Coyle’s smile begins to fade as he walks up to him. He looks down and while the man himself isn’t particularly tall, he’s just a bit taller than Franco. Which seems to be enough to establish some form of dominance. 

“Who d’you think yer talkin’ to like that, you little tumor?”

Franco’s mouth barely opens before he’s grabbed by the collar. He can barely breathe while all the blood in his body drains. 

His eyes scramble around as he claws at the man’s grip. “Let go a’ me, pig!”

Coyle tosses him into the wall and he feels old bruises ache. Franco already feels his eyes watering, but he’s quick to action. Being further in the room, he jumps to his feet and grabs the nearest object he could find. A megaphone finds its way into his hands and he swings it as hard as he can when the reagent rushes him. It breaks over the man’s head. Franco charges back, wrapping his arms around his chest and pushing him over the stairs.

Unfortunately with all the adrenaline flowing through him, he doesn’t think ahead and the both of them fall over the railing. They hit the ground with a loud thump and Franco feels his head ache before he blacks out.

He comes to his senses in a hospital bed, looking around the room, it seems familiar. It’s likely the same one’s across from where he got his introduction surgery. Franco rubs his forehead, his head snapping to the side when he hears a groan. Coyle wakes up in another bed a few feet from his own. He blinks and looks around before his gaze lands on Franco.

The look of his storm blue eyes darkening in a sickening fury sends a shot of fear down Franco’s spine. Then, Coyle lunges at him and Franco’s hands go to cover his face from any further damage. All he hears is the clanking of metal yet no pain comes to him. He opens his eyes and lowers his hands to see Coyle’s been cuffed to his bed. He grins and laughs, now having the freedom to do so. He sits up on his bed, about to start more shit before they’re interrupted by a doctor arriving.

Franco lays against the wall while Coyle struggles on his chains, yelling random shit at the doctor. He might get his ass beat when they head back to the sleep room, but if felt pretty damn good knocking the cop over the stairs.

That’ll keep Franco smiling for a while.

So, thanks to humans discovering an ancient portrait (commissioned by clockwork until he lost it), they don't mistake Danny as the Ghost King. No, even worse, he's now thought of as the Queen Mother. A widowed Queen Mother or something along the lines of a Targaryen like marriage. (Yes game of thrones will exist if only for my references to work)

Somehow in someway, Constantine is caught slacking and the JLA decide to summon him. Why? I don't know

(An approximation of what I imagine it looks like, I'll draw it once I find the motivation because it seems cool- with star motifs and long-haired Danny with star studded braids and cosmos brocade, baby Dani ,and crowd speculation on game of thrones style siblings relationships or political schemes targeting a lone mother after their king husband's death with a daughter instead of a son and a brother who might not be on their side.) (I don't know why vlads there)

About my Reagent OC, Hunter!

Reagent Hunter is an Outlast Trials AU of my existing sona character, Hunter Hirnfresser.

Hunter is the angel of death who appears to the living as a 26-year-old male named Hunter Hirnfresser.

In this AU, Hunter is attracted to the trials because of all the death surrounding them. His plan is to investigate why so many people are dying in this area, and also to collect the souls of those who have lost their lives in the trials.

Hunter finds more than he bargained for as his human disguise leads him to being put in the trials as a reagent. He experiences how torturous and deadly the trials are first hand, and makes it his personal mission to stay in them to collect the souls of those who are killed in them.

In trials where it’s a task to kill other people (the snitch, the judge and witnesses, etc), it’s a breaking point for him. He hates the idea of killing someone just to have to move on their soul, so he talks to the victims like they are his friends, or even like they’re children. Which gives off this impression that the trials are absolutely destroying his sanity. In a way, they are, but he believes if he is nice to the people he's tasked to kill they will be less scared of him when he comes back to move them onto the afterlife.

Hunter has been killed and released multiple times, but because he’s death, he does not permanently die and also always returns to the trials willingly. When this happens, he wipes himself from the memories of everyone involved. Easterman, prime assets, ex pops, other reagents, everyone. It works on all except one person…

No one is aware he is the angel of death.

Relationships with People Involved with the Trials:

Dr. Easterman - Hunter has a wicked hatred for Dr. Easterman and openly mocks him throughout the trials and while in the Sleep Room. Easterman always has a sense that he’s met Hunter before whenever he returns but ultimately doesn’t remember him.

Leland Coyle - Hunter wipes the memories of everyone involved in the trials, but the one person it doesn't work with is Coyle. Coyle remembers Hunter every time he returns from outside the trials or dies. He has seen Hunter return to life without the use of rigs, items from Dorris, syringes, or medical intervention. He's watched the wounds on Hunter's body heal completely without medicine. Coyle knows Hunter is not... normal, for lack of a better word. He's always trying to corner Hunter or get him alone so he can interrogate and torture him. Hunter is very aware Coyle suspects something is up with him and actively taunts him during trials, always being uncomfortably close to being caught by him. Hunter often says someday he knows Coyle will get him and he'll end up being the next snitch in the Kill the Snitch trial. Hunter also has no idea why Coyle is the only one that ever remembers him and the interest in each other is mutual. Also, Hunter has an attraction to Coyle that disturbs the other reagents in his group. He always plays it off like he's just joking around... he's not.

Mother Gooseberry - Hunter has an affection toward Gooseberry and calls her "mom" when referring to her. Out of every prime asset and ex-pop, Gooseberry is the only one Hunter feels any kind of sympathy for. Hunter wants to get close to her and just be a friend to her, someone she can talk to. He finds her history both intriguing and disturbing, often wondering how she ended up being what she is now.

Franco Barbi - Hunter is horribly disturbed by Franco. He finds everything about him gut-wrenchingly unsettling. Franco is the only prime asset Hunter takes extra steps to avoid at all costs. Unlike he would with Coyle, Hunter does not taunt Franco in trials. In fact, he’s almost entirely silent during his trials aside from a few terrified screams if Franco finds or grabs him. Unlike his wishes for Gooseberry, Hunter does not wish to talk with Franco. He finds his taunts, his killings, his ways horrifying. He refers to Franco as "Bambi" a nickname a fellow reagent started calling him and he picked up on.

The Pusher - Hunter hates him. Simple as that. He thinks he's a huge inconvenience. Hunter will actively seek to attack him with bottles and bricks, even if he's not being pursued by the pusher. Often calls him "the doctor" by mistake.

The Night Hunter - Hunter is kind of creeped out by him, but indifferent to him being in trials. He doesn't have much interest in him but finds his taunts and the things he says amusing.

Other Ex-Pops - As for the rest of the ex-pops, he only feels bad that they are here in the trials and have been experimented on. He often calls the small grunts by name (if he finds out what it is) but calls the big grunts "big man/lady", berserkers "blind man/guy", pouncers just "lady", and screamers... screamers. Out of all of them, the big grunts are the ones that terrify him the most and he will scream and run when spotted by them, even if running isn't the best idea.

Cornelious Noakes - Hunter likes watching Noakes tinker with things. He understands he doesn't want to talk and make friends, so he doesn't push him to do so. Hunter often sits by his desk just to watch him work on rigs and trial items. Noakes doesn't seem to mind the company.

Emily Barlow - Hunter doesn't really like her and doesn't trust her. She is hard for him to judge, not knowing if what she says is a facade or a trick. Hunter avoids her, never even looking in her direction. Emily hasn't noticed that he avoids her.

Dorris - Hunter was very put off by Dorris when he first met her. however, as time went on, he grew to like her. Hunter can sympathize with her being treated poorly for having an attraction toward other woman because he himself is bisexual with a preference leaning toward men. Hunter is much more open and riskier when it comes to his sexuality, which tends to cause problems for him. Dorris takes a liking to him every time she meets him after her memory of him is wiped. She smuggles in black nail polish for him so he can keep his nails painted!

Other Staff - Hunter is a huge flirt and is always flirting with the guards, even if it's mostly to get a reaction out of them. He's seen as somewhat of a pest to them. He has gotten a couple of them to fall for him and go beyond flirting, but their secret is safe with him. As for the scientists, with how closely they already watch him, he doesn't want to interact with them out of fear of them finding out he's not what he appears to be.

I'll make changes to this as I need to but for now, there he is!

I feel like I'm very bad at drawing humans (almost all art I do is furry/anthro so I almost never draw them). But I'd love to do more drawings of him and maybe get some commissions from other Outlast enjoyers so... we'll see!

Outlast trials x dream team au (cause I love that game so god damn much)

- Dream being a reagent going through the trials mainly keeping to himself cause he's seen what can happen 2 teammates and he doesn't want anymore guilt or trauma

- Sapnap being a newer reagent who has no idea what he's doing in the trials but atleast he's got the strength to fight back a little bit

- both of them seeing that the trials would be easier if they worked together (strength and speed) and forming tentative relations that develop even more (also just an excuse to have a you got hurt let me heal you while some tension grows scene)

- George being a scientist that was blackmailed to be there and he is incharge of watching and evaluating Dream and sap

-and I guess sam can be easterman as a treat to the freaks who like that loser (kidding of course who doesn't love a warden thats gone mad with power)

on the fantasy aus.. witch!reader who bakes her spells into pastries and stirs them into drinks at her little cafe and perchance any one of the 141 boys being a frequent customer? big ol knight who needs a little pick me up sometimes?

You’re getting all of them because sometimes I look at these asks and otome games flash in my mind

Gaz, to be quite honest, is mostly here for the pastries and tea. The magic stuff is just a bonus. As a result, the charms he gets are very simple, mostly cosmetic stuff. Clearing under eye bags, whitening teeth, stuff like that. His relentless flirting does not get him free hand pies, much to his dismay.

Soap is on that painkiller pastry grindset. He has various chronic pains that you have spells to soothe in the form of blueberry and cheese danishes. And he probably gets a horrifically sweet drink with whatever the magic equivalent of adderall is. He dabbles in apothecary himself, so he likes to flirt by talking shop with you about potions and reagents.

Ghost comes in like clockwork. Right before closing every day that you’re open. Gets a sleepy time tea and whatever pastry has got the dreamcatcher spell in it. Always overpays and refuses to take any change. Every time he casually reminds you that the offer for marriage is still open, but you’re not yet entirely convinced it’s not just a ploy to have a limitless supply of your tea.

Price is not here for the pastry or the magic— he’s here to wife you the fuck up, to be honest. He sees that you’re hardworking and talented as well as stunning. In addition, he thinks you should come work in the palace to provide your services to the royal guard, rather than running this tiny shop on a side street in town. So he’s trying to sweep you up on two fronts.

König gets the same kind of spells as most knights— treats to soothe various pains and accelerate healing, drinks that encourage pleasant dreams. His most frequent orders are for fruit tarts that increase luck and fortune— sometimes he gets the ones for coming battles, but mostly he gets the ones that are meant to bring luck in matters of the heart. He’s desperately hoping you’ll get the hint soon.

Nik travels vast distances often, and is one of your primary suppliers for ingredients. He’s guilty of regularly offering steep discounts in exchange for kisses (you’ve limited it to just the cheek). He also likes to remind you that you wouldn’t have to compensate him at all if this were more of a family business between you two, yes?

Listening to the Children of the Corn audiobook and being hyped for Amanda the Adventurer 2 finally compelled me to draw all the Prime Assets as kids for an AU!

Little Franco (12), Gosling Gooseberry (14) and Sparky Coyle (15).

The trials are still violent, and these kids are just as feral. Instead of adult Reagents, they're kids too. I'm still debating if I want Easterman to be an adult or a manipulative little kid named Easterboy.

12 Days of Reanimate-mas

Hi to any and all Reanimator followers! So I got a lot of love on my Christmas AU on my side account. So I decided to run a little Christmas advent calendar for all Reanimator fans :) Submissions can be presented through any art form (writing, drawing, cosplay, etc) I'll describe each prompt

Dec 14-25

Day 1: Hot Cocoa! Within this, you can create a scene where maybe Dan burns his tongue drinking some. Or Herbert finally relaxes

Day 2: Snowman! You can maybe have Dan and Herbert building a snowman. Or maybe draw a photo of a Herbert Snowman! If you live in a snowy climate, maybe you'll make a snowman that looks like Herbert!

Day 3: Ice Skates! How about Herbert being a surprise extremely talented ice skater! Or also Herbert injecting himself with reagent to MAKE himself an extremely talented ice skater! Maybe Dan doesn't know how to ice skate and Herbert does, or vice versa!

Day 4: Decoration! What if Herbert was tasked with putting the Christmas tree? How would Dan go about decorating the lab-basement when Herbert wasn't looking? Maybe Dan and Herbert find themselves putting up a mystical mistletoe a bit too close to eachother (mwah!)

Day 5: Sweaters! Maybe you can design a Reanimator themed ugly sweater design! Or just draw out a picture of Dan and Herbert in itchy sweaters. How would Herbert react to Dan gifting him a sweater?

Day 6: Cooking! Do Dan and Herbert get along in the kitchen when cooking up some festive foods?

Does Herbert even eat?? If you're a culinary expert maybe cook up some Reanimator themed Christmas cookies

Day 7: Lights! Similar to decoration, this could be a scene with one of the boys setting up lights outside. Of course they'd be green ! Maybe Herbert gets tangled up trying to detangle some lights!

Day 8: Card! Maybe create what Dan and Herbert's Christmas card would look like! Or a scene where they're getting photos taken for a Christmas card!

Day 9: Traditions! This can be ANYTHING, truly!Maybe Dan has some traditions he shares with Herbert! Maybe YOU have some traditions you'd like to apply to Dan and Herbert's life!

Day 10- Presents! What would Dan and Herbert get eachother for Christmas? How would Herbert react to gift giving? Create maybe a sweet scene, or a chaotic scene!

Day 11: Reanimation! Obviously I had to create a theme on brand! How would Dan and Herbert incorporate their studies into the holiday season? Why would they need to do this?

Day 12: Merry Christmas!!!! unless you draw your advent pieces beforehand and you truly want to make a drawing for Christmas Day, then don't worry about posting today!
