I think I agree with Maryland on this one: I'm not too worried. There are solutions such as contacting the police, reporting it to Tumblr, or simply blocking them. I highly doubt I'm following any of those people so the pictures won't show up unless I click on them. You can also just turn off media on your askbox so people can still send you asks as long as there isn't an image in it.

So askbox will stay open on all of my blogs and I'm only turning the media option off if I actually start receiving them. I will still share warnings and make people aware that they can take whatever preparation they deem necessary. I might share this post with people as well, if that's okay with you, Maryland?
