When I worked in jewelry we had this semi-regular lady who would come in with her cat on her.

The cat was harnessed but it was utterly superfluous because the she just dangled over the woman’s shoulder like a stuffed toy, utterly limp. It was one of the most beautiful and unsettling creatures I’ve ever seen. The woman herself was bizarre in the ways you’d expect someone who shops with a shoulder cat to be.

It’s ethereal blue eyes we’re devoid of… everything. I often voiced to my beloved that I thought the cat was piloting the woman psychically which seemed like the most plausible explanation for the whole situation.

I liked when the lady came in though, I got to pet the empty eyed cat. She was so soft.

confession time. lowkey i don't see what everyone else see's when they describe neil as being like some scary unhinged wild animal in tsc. like to me he's just neil being neil. insufferably blunt and honest, annoyingly snarky and incredibly perceptive to people around him. if anything i think it's more surprising how much more caring he seems. with regards to jean who he claims he can't stand. yet he promises they'll beat the ravens, doesn't say a word after jean trashes their room, is hesitant to leave the hospital room after he confirms riko is dead, asks after jean when jeremy calls kevin late at night, takes all of a couple minutes to decide to put a stop to jean's abuser, was ready to blow off the fbi and make a run for it from the thai restaurant when it seemed like jean wouldn't be able to contain his grief, told wymack he had him, told jean to find his own reasons to not wanna let go of life instead of holding on because he was told he had to, didn't touch jean until he absolutely had to and even then it was to remind him he was worth saving and he should believe it himself. like sure, him putting out a hit is a little unhinged maybe. but i have no doubts he wouldn't have done the same with drake if he'd been able to contact stuart at the time and things did not occur the way they did. again. it's just neil being neil. he's an instigator. and he even said it himself he was great at starting fights knowing he couldn't win them but doing it anyway.

I drew Ragatha as if she were (what is probably best known as) a Mexican rag doll.

These are literally just called "rag dolls" in spanish ("muñecas de trapo"), and I just called them "muñecas" when I was growing up but when researching for this piece I found out they're also called "muñeca leles," and "Marias".

But I believe for most of the world they're just called "Mexican Rag Dolls" due to famously being from Mexico, specifically from the Mazahua and Otomi people. (If you're interested in these little gals; remember to buy from authentic sources!)

I thought it would be fun and cute to make a design for Ragatha as one! I had fun with this piece and all the photos I used for references brought me back to my childhood for a bit.

you glide over him, straddle his thighs while dragging your nails down his torso, the bedsheet a veil behind your back. "you would have never made the first move," you point out, while nanami's eyes take in all the marks he's left imprinted onto your skin.

he breathes out through his nose, "it wouldn't have been appropriate..."

you roll your eyes playfully, and he furrows his brows as you trace your fingers further down his lower abdomen and closer to his length. "you weren't very appropriate with me thirty minutes ago..."

he digs his fingers into your hips, and groans when you outline a vein along his dick. in one swift motion he flips you over onto your side, the weight of his body on top of you. you're trembling slightly, taken aback by his sheer strength and the way he tossed you like a rag doll.

nanami chuckles, dragging his lips against your cheek and closer to your ear, his hands soothing you as he holds your waist and strokes gentle circles with his thumbs.

"and you still haven't learned to not to get too cocky, sweetheart," he nips at your lobe, his hands motioning over to squeeze your breasts as he pins you underneath him. "you'll easily get caught off guard"
