So I was wondering, in the same way that Tallys has a strong affinity towards an elf-raised MC, which backgrounds are the RO’s most compatible with?

Hmm, outside of Tallys, I don't think there are other ROs who are necessarilly more "compatible" with a certain racial background, so much as they have different flavor text or conversation options available to them, depending on the RO. For example, Blade and MC can discuss the Ket culture in a different way if MC is Ket-raised, or Halek with a Hunter-raised MC, but because they don't feel any particular pride or affinity towards their own culture (both are more critical or ambivalent about it), it doesn't usually net special points with them or bond them together like it does with Tallys: it's just a different twist on the conversation. Vice-versa, while a Norm-raised MC won't have more "affinity" with Tallys, they get the option to challenge her on her views in a unique way that an Elf-raised one doesn't. So while they're not more "compatible" with her, per se, it can still be an important aspect of her route!

Obviously, an MC who trained with Belnus Farplane will have more natural affinity with Ayla, while a Circle-trained MC will have more with Red, and I believe an MC who worships the One-God (which usually makes more sense if they're Norm-raised, but is by no means required) will have more in common with Shery! Hope that all makes sense!

Since some races have longer life spans, will an MC with a longer life span than humans (and other applicable races) eventually have a conversation with the ROs about this? Could you maybe write a small entry on what their last years with MC would be like? I have tissues and ice cream ready.

Also, I’m a sucker for appearance, will we have flavor-text for a Leodra MC’s ethereal beauty? Or their sparkles? Or defining features for MCs of other races?

Hi Anon! Thank you for the interesting question. I am remembering to take breaks, I promise!

I’d like to include a conversation between the MC and the ROs on their difference in lifespans, but I’m not certain where it would fit. MC is very likely to outlive all of the ROs except for Sentinel, who canonically outlives the MC. (Hang on to your tissues and ice cream anon.)

There will be flavor text for the unique traits of each race! Chapter 3 will include appearance customization, and after that I’ll start including more flavor text about MCs appearance. Also, when MC gets older she’ll have more encounters where people remark on her race.

Sometimes I feel like F1 community is a bit toxic, then I remember I'm a motogp fan too and think "wow, this is even more toxic, F1 community is heaven compared to this"

I can't understand why people feel the need of sharing hate online every single day, I mean we know F1 is full of these dumb hater kids and sometimes pilots themselves argue loudly with each other, maybe some of them still hate each other but the point is: motogp world still seems worse

What I want to see is 20 guys racing on a track, giving their best, making wonderful surpasses and at the end of the race going back home with their own feet, in the meanwhile I hope for Italian drivers and Italian bikes to win.

But nah, the real pleasure is hoping for a driver to crash and hurt himself, his bike exploded? He is bleeding? He lost his head? Wooo🥳 and you know why? Because Marcrash is an idiot who hates Italian. Because Enea will kill everyone to let Pecco win. Because Pecco is a clown and must going down every race. Because Ducati has too many bikes and should go bankrupt. Because Yamaha and Honda ruined all those Spanish and French drivers so fuck them! Send a curse to them! Because Italian are idiots. Because this pilot can only cry. Because that other pilot can only crash into everyone. This should be illegal. That should be forgiven.

Imma go back to F1... 🙄
