My lil Leodra MC! Her name is Fawn! (tbh, I'm still on the fence where I want her to be full blooded or halfblooded Leodra. Hell, to be honest I'm half tempted to make her a changeling! Too many good options. Probably gonna end up making her half-blooded Leodra, though, but for now: here is Fawn as a full blooded Leodra child) for @guardian-of-time-if's IF: Guardian of Time! Aswell as my personal interpretation of Lukyan.

Oren named her Fawn because of her big, doe-like eyes. I like to imagine Fawn's hair was kept short more for safety and functionality purposes than appearance. Like, Sam figured shorter hair would make it less likely for a child to catch fleas or lice, and that it would be more manageable to keep clean and tidy (though Fawn's hair is so thick and wavy, trying to comb it into submission is next to impossible). I also like to imagine none of those thieving kids are very good barbers.

The first picture is inspired by Lukyan and Fawn's first meeting (please ignore how the quality of the tree doesn't match the quality of Fawn and Lukyan; it was meant to be a quick lazy doodle, but I went unnecessarily hard with the background)

Though I love all of the first meetings, I think the one where she meets Lukyan first is my favorite. Perhaps it's because I'm a bit biased for his route, but it just feels the most like the beginning of a romantic fairy tale to me.

On a separate note: hope I got the Leodridic features right. I wasn't entirely sure how to give Fawn a "general sparkle", so I kinda just... tried to make her look glittery? Might change her appearance a little depending on the customization options.

Demo Moved to COG Demos

Hi all, I have finished moving the demo over to COG Demos. Since I update my files as I go, the new demo link is also a minor update. Along with the new hosting site and link this update includes:

Fixed typos (pretty sure I got all the ones mentioned in this thread.

Fixed the error where leodra MC tells Emperor Konstantin she’s never met another leodra, after clearly identifying Violet as a leodra.

Removed the section after name selection asking for MC’s thoughts on not knowing the meaning of her name (only available for MC with elven or half-elven names.) Some readers found this confusing, so I will move it to a place that makes more sense.

Stats screen overhaul: added a codex to the stats screen, expanded the glossary, and converted the relationship stats into descriptions instead of numbers.

I added mentions of MC having an object that was with her when she was found by Samira. Currently, it doesn’t change the writing much and only adds a couple of paragraphs spread across the two chapters.

Overall, the changes to the writing are minimal, but I wanted you all to have a list of all the changes in the new demo. I hope this tides you over until chapter three is out. (Which should be very soon, stay tuned for more news).
