If you voted provisional, attend your ballot hearing anyway.
If your ballot needs to be cured, go fix the problem anyway.
Do not abandon your ballot.
Get it counted, regardless of what state you're in, regardless of whether you think it will help.
It could be the difference in a down-ballot race.
And if they do a recount, if there was fraud, it could even be the difference for Kamala.
Get your vote counted. No matter what the results say.
#to be clear i still think the presidential race is done even if there was fraud. but just in case. it's better to be safe than sorry#just think how awful it would be if they did a recount and she was only a few votes short#us politics#kamala harris#presidential election#us presidential election#us election#election 2024#harris walz 2024

the story of how nico and toto first met, from nico's podcast
'I was very skeptical of you, and you were skeptical of me! I know behind the scenes, before we met you complained about my salary. saying 'what the hell you can't pay this useless guy so much!'
imagine a blonde 25y/o no wins to his name nico marching up to williams' newest investor at the christmas party and demanding he gets to take his race engineer to mercedes
#this story is so fanfic fodder#like the way toto thought nico was a overpaid nepo baby and nico thought toto was a fraud businessman with no racing management experience#nico Rosberg#toto wolff#tp x driver

The Pennsylvania Senate race is still too close to call.
While it's unlikely to affect the presidential race, I hope Americans are aware that the NBC decision desk (pictured above) and New York Times decision desk have not yet called the Pennsylvania Senate race between McCormick (R) and Casey (D), deeming it still too close to call. The AP called the race for McCormick on Wednesday November 7, citing a 30,000 vote margin between the candidates with an estimated 91,000 votes remaining to count -- the rationale being that there were not enough potential votes left in areas favouring Casey to make a difference.
Since then:
The number of estimated votes left to count has been updated by PA from 91,000 to at least 100,000 per a Thursday announcement from the PA Secretary of State, including provisional, military, overseas, and some Election Day votes;
McCormick has filed multiple lawsuits in an attempt to prevent or limit continue counting of provisional ballots, some of which have now by Friday been withdrawn or dismissed;
Efforts from a group called "PA Fair Elections" to challenge 4,000 mail-in ballots (mostly from overseas or military voters) have now all been withdrawn or dismissed. A number of these challenges had previously been flagged both by the media and by individual voters. (Screenshots of these challenge emails being circulated on tumblr alongside accusations of 'cheating' -- in the end these challenges were made in bad faith, but technically made and ultimately dismissed through legal means.)
This DOES NOT MEAN that the Pennsylvania Senate seat is in any way guaranteed to flip once all the remaining votes are counted. The race is extremely close -- enough so that the AP is confident standing by its call.
What it DOES mean is that the votes have not yet finished being counted, and that it is not yet truly known who will have the most votes in the end. Although McCormick has already declared victory, Casey (in my view very reasonably and wisely) has not yet conceded and is calling for all votes to be counted.
By Pennsylvania law, a recount must occur if the race is within 0.5%. It's looking likely that this will occur. While recounts rarely change the outcome unless results are truly within the main of a handful of votes, they are an important tool for ensuring confidence in the final results.
I know that people are grieving and demoralized right now, but these tight margin races are CRITICAL for determining how large the margin of victory will be for Democrats to flip the Senate in future elections. (Assuming future electing aren't subverted or dismantled somehow by a second Trump administration, but we have to hold out hope for institutional residence here.) The outcome of this and other right Senate and House races may have enormous consequences in a few years, and it would be agonizing to look back and realize that the window of opportunity to ensure a fair outcome had been squandered.
So -- what can Americans do?
Send a note to Bob Casey and his team via his campaign website in support of his efforts to ensure all votes are counted (particularly given the legal challenges from the Republican candidate and Republican-aligned groups) and decision to wait to concede until all votes are counted. The man is getting dragged in Conservative media in particular for 'refusing to concede'; add your voice to the people validating that decision as both reasonable and moral.
Keep an eye on this race as the counting (and potential recounting) proceeds, including any further legal challenges attempting to prevent or limit the counting of all ballots. Regardless of the outcome, all eligible votes MUST BE COUNTED. To do otherwise would be both subversion if democracy and an stoicism legal precedent for future elections.
Watch for other legal challenges, particularly in battleground states or right races, seeking to disqualify or prevent the counting of ballots. Look for credible sources, especially local ones. Make noise about them with cited sources if you think there is a risk they may be missed. Notify groups like Democracy Docket or the American Civil Liberties Union if you have concerns. Shared truth and shared confidence in the legitimacy of election results -- including that all eligible votes are counted -- is essential for democracy to function.
Push back on claims that the election results are fully known or finalized. With multiple House races still undecided and a few razor-thin margin Senate races with ballots remaining to be counted, those kind of statements are simply not true. And state-level race are inherently more likely to not make it onto people's radar than the presidential race if candidates try to make it so certain ballots aren't counted or contesting the results if a tight race flips.
There is only a very small window post-election to ensure things like outstanding legal challenges over whether certain ballots can be included in the count are resolved. Please stay alert and do not let that window close without doing all you can to ensure every eligible ballot is counted -- particularly in those tight, tight down-ballot races. 🙏
Note: This post should be accurate as of the end of day on Friday, November 9. Once the results of the PA Senate race are known and truly final, I will update this pay with the results.
UPDATE: As of November 22, Bob Casey (D) has now officially conceded the Pennsylvania Senate race to Dave McCormick (R).

just saw someone defend their favorite f1 driver with "well, the rules are the same for everyone".
my sweet summer child, no. it's the exact opposite. f1 is notorious for the rules not being the same for everyone.

TL;DR:
I find solace in writing. I was going to post the piece below but after sending it to my brother & discussing it, I’m not (going to bother posting it on the other social media sites I frequent)
My brother helped me realize that I’m likely wrong, & Trump probably did win everything I mentioned by the majority’s vote. My problem is I hold on to hope for the good in others. I need to let that go & accept that apparently the majority or Americans really are ignorant, selfish dummies who are misogynistic, racist, bigots. It’s beyond disappointing! I thought that I (along with the people I love & consider friends) represented the average person but apparently we’re in a whole other world from the average American! 😳
Roach Rubes come out of the woodwork during elections & unfortunately, as we’ve just seen, outnumber the intelligent, good people. There’s no changing that so… I’m going to continue to fight for my rights & the rights of others but at the same time I’m going to step back from the news, make popcorn & watch the Roach Rubes get their rude awakening once Trump takes office in January. That’s all we can do 🤷🏼♀️
Believe me, I would love nothing more than to have their sweet dreams of Trump being an amazing President who makes America an amazing country with all citizens being taken care of come true, but smart people know that’s not Trump. He only cares about himself & money
——- Original post——-
If you’re going to cheat & rig an election, maybe don’t make it so obvious & out your narcissist self by “winning” ALL 7 swing states, plus the majority of the USA, the popular vote (yeah right! 🙄), the house AND the senate 👌🏼😏
This election reeks of being rigged. It’s easy to do when you have billionaires behind you (especially E. Mu*k) who want to make as much money as they can, plus evil leaders in countries like Russia & North Korea who will also benefit off Trump being president
In addition to all of this, Harris Walz had major hype, hope, & (not that this matters but still) some of the most powerful celebrity endorsements (Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Oprah & many more). How does anyone with a (normal) brain not find this extremely fishy & demand it gets looked into immediately?! 🤷🏼♀️ Instead, less than 24 hours after the election, Biden, Harris & the Obamas are congratulating Trump on his win & telling the rest of us to hang in there & have hope. This is Bizarro World! 🤯 Is this really happening or am I asleep having a nightmare?
We’re really supposed to believe a complete POS man, who is a bully & an absolute embarrassment & disgrace, a convicted felon who has threatened to strip the rights/protection of many, eliminate important programs, deport thousands of immigrants (many of whom, like it or not, hold jobs that are crucial to keeping our country running) & literally spelled it all out in a 900 page agenda, won the election in a landslide AND the popular vote to boot?

If Trump installs his regime, here are a few reminders:
• If you know anyone trans, you do not.
• If you know any immigrants, they've been here their whole lives.
• If someone asks you about politics, you do not discuss politics.
• Anything and everything that will be used to target.
We are safe when we are together. Have one another's backs.

Pennsylvania officials are investigating as many as 2,500 fraudulent voter registration applications in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Speculation is that this is the work of MAGA activist Scott Presler.
In other words, they found fraud - and it wasn't from Democrats.

It's not so long ago that compulsive liars and race-grifters like Kendi could get away with being fact-checked somewhere down in the depths of the replies where few people would see, and it would rely on people retweeting to surface the refutation upwards. He could propagate whatever manufactured victimhood narrative he wanted, and he could get away with it for the most part.
Community Notes has changed everything.
It's interesting that subjective reality - "my truth" - and "equity" - unequal treatment to create desired outcomes - have become so entrenched that something like, "apply the rules on cheating consistently," is being called a "weapon."
Claudine Gay is entirely responsible for her own downfall.

Catalunya 2008: The switch to the lighter 800cc bikes was generally expected to benefit Dani Pedrosa, who headed into his second season in the premier class with sky high expectations after already being an outside title contender for most of his rookie campaign. The perception that Honda had built a bike to Pedrosa's liking, rather than that of his world champion teammate Nicky Hayden, was a matter of no little controversy - but ultimately Honda's bike did not have enough power for either rider to keep up with runaway 2007 champion Ducati's Casey Stoner. Pedrosa did manage to snag an unlikely second place in the championship off Valentino Rossi at the very last race of the season, when Pedrosa's victory and Rossi's mechanical DNF gave the position to Pedrosa by a single point. His unusual choice to claim the number two plate the following year led to paddock speculation about whether he had done so to rub the championship standings in Rossi's face. More importantly, Honda opted to stick with the Michelin tyres that had been so thoroughly outshone by Stoner's Bridgestones that year, standing in contrast to Rossi's contentious switch away from the Michelins.
Pedrosa started 2008 well and was the only rider to make it to the podium in each of the first four races of the year. His early season was defined by his conflict with old enemy Jorge Lorenzo, who had felt slighted by Pedrosa not shaking his hand at the very first race of the year at Qatar. Pedrosa was clearly less than thrilled to finish behind Lorenzo upon the latter's debut in the premier class - and Lorenzo responded by criticising Pedrosa for the perceived lack of graciousness in the press. It made the stakes of their home race in Jerez all the higher, with Lorenzo securing his second straight pole before Pedrosa claimed a convincing victory on Sunday. When the Spanish king badgered the pair of them into shaking hands, Pedrosa could hardly have looked less enthusiastic. The hostilities continued into the third round at Estoril, with Lorenzo once again securing pole and this time a victory along with it, and Pedrosa once again looking aggrieved at having to exist in a ten mile radius of his compatriot. After that, however, Lorenzo's season quickly fell apart, with a series of dramatic crashes sabotaging both his body and his confidence. In the end, Pedrosa's title rivals were to be the same pair as in the year before.
After holding the championship lead early on, Pedrosa was forced to relinquish it to Rossi when the latter went on a three race win streak. Pedrosa lost a close contest for second to Stoner in Mugello, with Rossi beating both of them at his beloved home race - but now it was time for MotoGP to return to Pedrosa's turf. Qualifying in P2 with Stoner on pole, Pedrosa got one of his typically perfect launches off the line to lead Stoner from the start, while the in-form Rossi would have a lot of work to do from ninth on the grid. Stoner attempted to put pressure on Pedrosa early on, but a lap one error followed by getting embroiled in a lengthy tussle with Andrea Dovizioso allowed Pedrosa to put some critical daylight between himself and the chasing pack. Soon enough, Rossi caught up to Stoner - and the two of them took turns to let the other attempt to drag them closer to Pedrosa. Eventually they realised it was futile, having to instead contend themselves to hashing out second place between the pair of them. It was a repeat of the ferocious battle of the year before, which back then had involved all three top riders. In 2007, Stoner had emerged on top ahead of Rossi followed by Pedrosa - this time, Rossi bested Stoner, though well behind Pedrosa's dominant display out front. Before heading off to Donington, it was time for a post-race test, with Ducati hoping to finally fix some of their issues this season. If they managed to do so, they might still be able to provide Stoner with the tools he needed to enact a repeat of the crushing dominance of the previous year.
#valentino's qualifying is poor but then his start is also ass enough that he lets marco melandri from PEE SIXTEEN on the grid -#- ahead of him into the first corner. in the year of our lord 2008. casey was right about that fucking fraud#//#brr brr#race rec tag#genuinely rec this one btw. top 6-7 casey/vale duel idc if it's for second place#also the photo distribution isn't intentional lol. dani just generally kinda underrepresented in the photo archives

"you can't just pick and choose who deserves to go to prison or get the death penalty, it's inherently inhumane and people deserve a chance at redeeming themselves" child molesters aren't people. hope this helps
#this isn't referring to the legitimate argument to be made that a higher punishment for a specific crime will lead to more false#and primarily race-based accusations#this is for people saying that ruining a child's life is on the same level as drug charges or fraud#as far as i'm concerned if there's physical evidence a la dna or they just straight up confess#there's no downside to publicly beating them the fuck to death
