The fact that Leo can go literally anywhere on earth to be alone with his thoughts at a single moment’s notice is something that shakes around in my head all the time. Like, portals and teleportation are amazing and convenient abilities both in and out of battle, but they could also so easily be used to run away as well.

I don’t think Leo ever would, at least not most of the time. He loves his family too much, and is too dependent on their love and attention to cut himself off so suddenly like that, but it’s a very real possibility nonetheless.

It’s a good thing Leo’s overall temper is more on the mild side and he prefers going to his room or something to complete solitude, because it really is dangerous for a kid to have the ability to isolate themselves like that at their fingertips.

See how he's leaning towards you in a completely un-conspiratorial manner, speaking quietly because he knows you're a sensitive type who gets nervous around loud noises. This is really good advice. You can safely ignore whatever he's saying now though, Thor. He's obviously got a bit intimidated by the success that lies ahead when you carry out this amazing plan that you've just come up with all by yourself after he suggested it.

destroyed by the fact that the confession scene in ep 6 is basically the same confession from both of them but they keep talking past each other because both of their ideas of what they want together is so different (partially because they never have a fucking conversation, just as nina and maggie say)

crowley is admitting that he wants to spend eternity with aziraphale but he wants them to run away together (because heaven and hell are flawed - running away is sensible). aziraphale wants to be with crowley but he wants to do so in heaven (because heaven and hell are flawed - trying to change it is sensible).

they both want to be together but in such fundamentally different ways at this point in their character arcs, it's so heartbreaking to watch

i like how barton went from being like... a hippie in terms of how he viewed sex in his early twenties, then kind of abstained from it for a few years / became sexually repressed, which... definitely isn't such a good thing. BUT then he became even more of a freak (and i do mean that in the good way this time LOL) around the time he started residency because WOW is that shit stressful. though that was also unfortunately around the time when he really started to spiral as well 😬 but we don't need to talk about that ahahhh

like the way this man learned how to express his sexuality REALLY came full circle in the end considering he was like 'yeah, back in the early days that i was in college, i was a freak. but now i'm not anymore... though do you want to see me do it again anyway?' like 💀 JSJSJ if he weren't so demented, i'd almost be inclined to say good for him, y'all LMAO feeling comfortable with your sexuality and perhaps even having a bit of fun with it (though maybe too much in barton's case, because he literally weaponizes it in order to lure in his victims. BUT once again, we don't need to talk about that right now psshhh. i actually fully intend on talking about that in the tags NGL) is more often than not a good thing after all

i'm thinking about hauntings as manifestations of guilt. not "they haunt you because they deem you guilty" approach, but instead "they haunt you because you believe yourself guilty". there's the hallucination cause, of course, that the ghost stems from your own damaged psyche, but i've never seen anyone explore the concept of your own self blame disturbing the rest of the dead, dragging their specter along in your wake as a consequence of your inner turmoil. perhaps you're supernaturally attuned, perhaps there was some sort of magical bond, or perhaps your anguish is just that profound.

guilt loses its purpose when you lapse into inaction and fail to do better. guilt grows cruel when you weigh the living down with it. guilt becomes horrifying when you drag the very person you lost back from the other side just so they can witness you drive yourself to the edge and claim it's in their memory.

when do the dead get no say about what justice for them should entail? can't you see the heartlessness in that? no, because when you looked at their body, you never let yourself look away. you made them a martyr and styled yourself as damned, but this isn't justice - it's merely penance with collateral damage. you took the albatross corpse up and bound it to your own neck so tight it choked you.

Also have realized that we may have worded things oddly to exaggerate the amount of the Wasp Kingdom that is actually in active conflict but in our defence the power structures we currently have there have it so that whenever there aren't things to fight something like 40-80% of the Wasp Kingdom military gets re-allocated to Basically Whatever The Wasp Kingdom Needs At That Moment since they're, like, the Designated Supply Of Able-Bodied Wasps That The Queen Uses To Do Shit.

Marble is also banned from the non-combat parts of that setup, btw. Their particular tendency towards volatile-yet-effective is not something that ANYONE wants designing things that will be used in day-to-day civilian things just Around The Wasp Kingdom because generally you don't want your heavy-use architecture to Fucking Explode if you don't read and religiously adhere to the 120-page manual.
