Polyfragmented culture is wishing I had the words to describe how our system looks to the outside world. Anything I can think of to say doesn't really come close to scratching the surface. We contain multitudes, connected through a complex multidimensional web. At first glance it's like a nebula of bright shiny pieces and fragments that all make up who we are. Looking closer shows incredibly complicated structures and structures within those structures all built to to keep us safe. It can get a bit overwhelming the deeper we look and the more we see. I don't honestly know if we'll ever be able to make sense of all this, ever be able to untangle the web and put the pieces back together. It's beautiful though, it's like an answer to a question we didn't know we had. Beautiful and tragic. I wonder what we could've been if we hadn't been torn into so many pieces, if we had been supported instead.

We are a minor bodied, professionally diagnosed DID system

We collectively go by they/fae/he, and the names Firefly or Aster. We go by Ash irl (name of one of our hosts), so feel free to call us that, too. We’re also an Archaeopteryx (paleo)therian and an American Kestrel therian :]

In real life, we have been out as transmasc and genderqueer since we were 11-12. While not everyone in our system identifies with this, it's an important part of our identity and life!

We are a smaller polyfrag system (system of ~65). We are ‘brainmade’ heavy and fragment/low development heavy (~20 fully developed alters)

We're white and ethnically Ashkenazi Jewish from both sides of our family. We generally identify as a reform Jew and became b-mitzvah at 13

Every other plural culture blog we've seen has always been pro endo, tulpa, and other non-traumagenic systems.

We are not, while our views from alter to alter vary, we consider ourselves as a whole anti-nontraumagenic

We use plural because we've used it to describe ourselves since before we even knew what a system was. It is not us "reclaiming" or "stealing" the term, it's us using a term we have always, and will always, use. Stop sending asks about it (please)

Submit asks about how being plural affects you! We'll post it either with a response to it, or just on its own.

Non-traumagenic and their supporters are not welcome here. Mixed orgins systems included with that. (Being neutral on endos is fine, just be aware that we are anti endo here)

We are not an informational blog, lots of this stuff is light hearted and humorous. We joke about things the same way people do with any other disorder. Do not take everything at face value, if you're going to clarify or correct information just be nice or we're going to block you regardless of if we agree or not
