Disabled people who are unable to work deserve to be able to afford to live a good quality life without facing discrimination

#Being able to access the job that I love has been a game changer for my quality of life #And I think other people have the right to access that too #But I don't think employment is safe or right for everyone #And those people also deserve to live good lives

I know I’m being anti-fun and a wet blanket about this but -

While I find “if not friend why friend-shaped” about cute but dangerous animals to be a fun meme, I increasingly react with knee-jerk negativity to “if evil why hot” because while it’s not that serious when applied to fiction there is an extremely worrying real trend of people who think of themselves as progressive and enlightened who equate physical appearance to morality.

#okay in actuality?????? vinyl is inaccessible in so so many ways.#cant afford a decnt record player which means that the vinyl i DO own is uhhh soumds worse than #my cds theough the blutooth speaker i have #cds arent 'better' than vinyl but theyre an affordable access point #and wonderful technology #and for the majority of people cd sound is better than spotify or youtubemp3 #they didnt go obselete bc they sucked they went obselete (to the extent they did) bc of digitization #it ALL depends on what speakers you are playing things through #cds are LITERALLY lossless like?????#cd quality is usuallly better than vinyl cd quality is better than anything but flac #bc flac is MODELED ON CDS #ask bosk

You know what anime trend I strongly dislike? Anison titles increasingly being released on streaming only and with no word on a physical release whatsoever.

I DON'T WANT TO *JUST* STREAM A SONG.

I WANT TO BUY A FUCKING CD.

I WANT TO OWN A COPY OF THE SONG ON A PHYSICAL ITEM AND PLAY IT WHENEVER I WANT TO, LIKE I HAVE DONE FOR EVERY ANIME SONG I HAVE LIKED OVER THE PAST THREE DECADES.

Streaming as an option is totally fine, love that for us. But not having anything physical lined up at all for music is bullshit, sorry. Just like it's bullshit when shows or movies don't get physical releases either.

It just breaks my heart that some of these fun tunes could become difficult to access in 10 or 20 years, or only preserved in a lower quality format.

Physical media for life etc.
