Pumpkin Snickerdoodles - 5/5

Baked Apple Cider Donuts - 4.5/5

I had a BIG list of fall desserts I wanted to make this year and I'm still not done yet-

These snickerdoodles were amazing, really soft with a great flavor. The only problem was the dough's pretty sticky and difficult to roll/handle. I also didn't have...cloves? I was missing a couple spices for both of these and just threw in extra of what I had to make do, and it was fine. My palate is not that sophisticated.

NOTE: Add a little more flour, and maybe a little less salt.

UPDATE FROM FUTURE ME: adding ~1/4c more flour made these more crumbly, so probably don't do that. Adding slightly less salt was good and felt like it didn't overpower the spices.

The donuts were also very good, but not quite as flavorful as I would've wanted.

NOTE: It's going to take 200 years, but make sure to actually reduce the cider to the proper amount, future me. Maybe add more of the spices too.
