Home-cooked Dinner with fried red snapper steak, stir-fried fuzzy melon with prawns, minced pork & tomato plus pork ribs soup. The soup I will drink later but here are the ingredients I scooped out first – pork ribs, black fungus, fish ball, bean curd skin and potato. All of these I ate with some pumpkin rice.

just found out pumpkin spice doesn’t have any pumpkin in it??? huh??

Mum made her crispy Chicken Cutlet using whole boneless chicken legs which she chopped up into bite size portions. She will also prepare a ketchup based dipping sauce which I drizzled on the chicken. The other dishes for the night are cabbage stir-fry and braised pork belly with egg together with pumpkin rice.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodles - 5/5

Baked Apple Cider Donuts - 4.5/5

I had a BIG list of fall desserts I wanted to make this year and I'm still not done yet-

These snickerdoodles were amazing, really soft with a great flavor. The only problem was the dough's pretty sticky and difficult to roll/handle. I also didn't have...cloves? I was missing a couple spices for both of these and just threw in extra of what I had to make do, and it was fine. My palate is not that sophisticated.

NOTE: Add a little more flour, and maybe a little less salt.

The donuts were also very good, but not quite as flavorful as I would've wanted.

NOTE: It's going to take 200 years, but make sure to actually reduce the cider to the proper amount, future me. Maybe add more of the spices too.
