Hello everyone it's been a few years since I mentioned this and I have plenty of new followers and some old, I've never mentioned this too but I thought it might be a good time to make it known

So please remember when writing with me, that I have a reading disability and I cannot remember what I read. I also have dyslexia so I flip words and letters around a lot. I have also been known to accidently leave entire words out of sentences. So I apologize for this in advance.

I am from the Midwest, so that means I think in a midwestern accent and I write with that accent. (Edward's accent came from somewhere)

This means that when I write the word "set", I do it on purpose because it's the word that my head speaks. I hardly ever remember to write "sit" because I don't say that. I say "set". I also tend to mix up my Ts with my Ds and because of my accent, I am guilty of running words together, or cutting off the end of words all together.

Edward is a place it shows extremely hard because I let him speak with the same speed and accent in my head. Unlike Kumo who speaks in near perfect diction at ALL TIMES. All my muses have different voices and it will show in the way they compose sentences and carry themselves.

So please don't get upset if I forget words in my reply, or I misspell something. It's common.

On the subject of my memory, it's compromised for two reasons.

My reading disability makes it near impossible to retain the things I read (or write) unless I discuss things constantly. I will re-read replies several times (including my own) just to remember where things were to reply. This can affect my reply speed. Please have patience.

I got a major concussion last year that took me out of work for 1.5 months. My ability to retain information has been off ever since and I have full black out over two months of last year. So your continued patience with me is appreciated.

Just a quick PSA - please share (and maybe save an account that's been wrongly/mistakenly terminated!)

For those that don't know my main account (@blogofbonbon) was abruptly terminated yesterday which had also resulted in all of my sideblogs (including this one) being terminated along with it!

I was lucky enough to have my main account along with all of my sideblogs reinstated within a short 24 hours without any issues however, I found from other people's experience that it took some of them days, weeks even months before their accounts were reinstated.

I still don't actually have an answer as to why this has happened but, the general consensus from those who have experienced it is that it's a mistake/glitch.

Anyways, I thought I'd just make a quick post about what to do if you find yourself in this position!

What does it look like when it happens?

Everything on my dashboard disappeared and nothing would load.

The tumblr app kept sending me notice over and over again that I was unauthorised to access/the connection had been dropped/I need to log in (despite not having logged out).

I didn't receive any notice or email from tumblr explaining or giving a reason as to why my account had been suddenly terminated.

When I attempted to login on desktop, it would just redirect me back to the login page.

When I attempted to go directly onto any of my blogs via their url, it would say that my blogs didn't exist - they were all just gone.

Your existing posts will not come up as 'deactivated00000000' next to your username in the same way that it does on a post from an account that has actually been deactivated - it displays your username as normal with the anonymous tumblr icon and nil option to click on your username.

What to do if this happens?

This post on reddit details in depth what to do but, I will summarise below.

There are three ways to go about it - only do ONE. If you do multiple it just backs up the system and takes longer for them to work through/process requests.

Reach out via Tumblr Support (this is the 'official' way to go about it).  https://www.tumblr.com/support -> select terminated account and provide details of what happened, your username and URL.

If you have twitter - send a tweet to @/tumblr or @/tumblrsupport (preferably tumblr support) with what happened, your username and URL.

Make a post on the linked subreddit above or DM u/tumblr_acct_help your username and URL.

I personally chose to go through Tumblr Support.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you go through twitter/reddit but, have genuinely violated Tumblr TOS - they will tell you they cannot assist you via twitter/reddit.

If you go through Tumblr Support - @goldensmilingbird found that apparently support tickets with emails attached to terminated accounts don't go through!

I can't speak to whether this is the case or not (using the email attached to the terminated account) as I had initially sent a support ticket through my (at the time) terminated accounts email but, I heeded the warning anyway and had sent a support ticket through a backup account of mine under a different email.

When sending a support ticket via a different email:

Provide details of what happened and again, provide your username, URL and the email attached to the terminated account!

What to do after?

Unfortunately once you have done those things, you just have to wait!

As I stated above, don't send multiple tickets/tweets/dm's/posts on multiple platforms as all it does is slow the process down and backs the system up.

If the termination of your account was a genuine mistake/glitch, your account should be reinstated without any issues HOWEVER, when it is reinstated it will likely happen without any notice or email from tumblr so, you just have to keep an eye on your blogs! Check your URL's every now and then throughout the day.

If you have genuinely violated the Tumblr TOS' then whether the issue is resolved and your account reinstated will be up to the discretion of Tumblr.

Hopefully this is helpful to anyone who needs it or to anyone who knows someone who may need it!

Please if you see ads on YouTube from supportpets.com, report them as scam and publicly boycott. Their service advertises "certification for Emotional Support Animals", "allowing you to take your pets almost anywhere!" But here's the facts.

-An ESA is legally classified to allow disabled people and those with low income to avoid being denied housing under "no pets" policies. They are NOT public access friendly, they are not required to be trained, there is no certification. You get a letter from your doctor and you give it to the prospective landlord.

-a SERVICE ANIMAL is one of two types (the other being therapy animals) of publicly allowed animals addressed under the Americans With Disabilities Act (the ADA), being a dog or horse (with specific exceptions being a case by case basis) that is trained to perform a task to aid a disabled person. Legal protections under the ADA allow for service animals to have public use without certification or documentation-- the person can only be asked if the dog is trained for a disability related task, and ask about the trained task, and that is it. As long as the dog behaves itself in public, this is ALL that is needed.

-Support Pets is twisting the definition of ESA, scamming pet owners into buying bunk certification to let their pets come around with them, and contributing to an ongoing and dangerous problem that is pet owners bringing their rowdy, untrained animals into public spaces. Disabled people have spoken countless times about how distractions and attacks from these "Public ESAs" have resulted in their dog failing to signal a health crisis, getting hurt or even being required to retire from duty due to behavioral issues or physical damages following.

Please share this, spread it everywhere you can. Boycott this company and report their ads on Google and YouTube for breaking their ad policies on scams.

Disney Mirrorverse is shutting down.

I logged into Discord yesterday and saw that the Disney Mirrorverse server made this announcement in the screenshot above. I'll be honest, after I read this announcement, my stomach dropped. I felt a little queasy; I was in utter disbelief. From the moment after I watched the Official Announce Trailer two years ago, this game had become a big part of me.

For the past two years, I’ve adored this game, its characters, and its universe. It sparked my interest in Disney crossovers and gave me my most unexpected ship and OTP: Belle from Beauty and the Beast and James P. Sullivan ‘Sulley’ from Monsters Inc. Never in a million years would I have imagined a crossover between these two characters, but Disney Mirrorverse delivered spectacularly! Since then, it has opened the door to many other Disney crossover ships and friendships for me.

What drew me to this game were the characters. I couldn’t help but wonder, “Why does everyone look so badass? What kind of threat are they facing that brings Disney’s most famous heroes and villains together to fight for a cause bigger than themselves, or even the universe—or should I say, universes?”

I love Disney Mirrorverse. I can’t express it any other way—I just love it. It might sound a bit silly that an app game could make a woman in her early twenties so happy, but it did. It breaks my heart to see two years of something that has brought me so much joy coming to an end. I’ll be dreading the coming months, knowing that Disney Mirrorverse is inching closer to disappearing from existence and my life.

 When Disney Mirrorverse was first released, some users experienced issues downloading the game on their Android devices. These problems were due to compatibility issues with certain Android versions or device specifications. Additionally, there were occasional server-side issues and regional restrictions that could have affected availability.

When I was trying to download the game well into the year it came out, it wasn’t fully supported on my Android device at that time. So, I would scour the internet for any and every crumb on Disney Mirrorverse I could find. It wasn't until February of this year that I was finally able to download it.

Am I sad? Yes. Is my life over? No. My wise friend @frie-ice , who I met through Disney Mirrorverse, told me, ‘After Disney Mirrorverse is gone, we’ll keep it alive with our creativity and works.’ And that’s exactly what I plan to do. I’ll continue to share my theories, stories, and ships for Disney Mirrorverse long after it’s gone.

Frie-Ice also mentioned that they'll hopefully keep Disney Mirrorverse alive through books and other merchandise. I really hope they do because I just finished reading ‘Mirrorverse: Pure of Heart’ and ‘Disney Mirrorverse: Belle’ and both of the endings definitely leave room for a sequel.

Well, that's all I have to say. Alright, everyone who has Disney Mirrorverse downloaded, please play it for as much as you can before December 16th. As for everyone who doesn't, my deepest apologies.

For anyone out there who loves Disney Mirrorverse, please feel free to share your headcanons, fanfiction, theories, and ships with me. My askbox and DMs are always open. My friend Frie-Ice also suggested an idea for a Disney Mirrorverse Week, and that sounds pretty darn fun to me. What about you guys?

Hey, if you're a fellow account user of FA, please DO NOT log into the site right now... Apparently, the domain has been hijacked, so typing in your username and password could see your account hacked/stolen. I wouldn't even risk "autofilling," just to be safe. They're saying you can check FA's twitter or discord for further info.

Yeah, whenever you see anything about a social media site being "hijacked" and all, it's best to refrain from using it... Don't worry about mine, I typically keep logged out of my accounts and they posted the same warning on the site's welcome page.

Note: if you'd like to log out of your account if it's got you currently logged in, for extra safety, it's advised that you try clearing your browser history. Apparently, it seems to log you out of your account if you can't do it the standard way.

I keep getting notifs on my posts about the community movie from people Just Now finding out that there’s a movie happening so here’s a. psa

nbc’s community is finally fulfilling its promised “six seasons and a movie.”

the movie was announced by nbc last fall and was supposed to come out this fall exclusively on peacock. but, because of the writer’s strike, filming has been pushed back to next summer. I haven’t heard anything about a new release date, but it is definitely still happening.

Okay, now that I've gathered all my fellow anxiety sufferers, here's a little PSA for you all:

IF YOU HAVE ANY FORM OF ANXIETY AT ALL, STAY. AWAY. FROM. CAFFEINE.

I know that coffee is tasty and yummy, but it is not worth the risk of the most severe panic attack of your life. You literally feel like you're about to d1e. I'm not even exaggerating, anxiety makes you believe that 100%. I am also a hypochondriac soooo yeah that doesn't make it any better.

I had to learn this the hard way today– I drank coffee around 2'ish P.M., and now it's past 9 P.M., and the panic attack is only JUST starting to subside slightly. My hands are still jittering hard as fuck.

Yeah, no coffee is worth more than SEVEN HOURS of pure TORTURE.

I also have stomach issues, so add to that my oesophagus giving up on life and (TMI warning) shit practically leaking out of my ass nonstop and you have a (literal) pure shitshow.

Anyways, a quick apology to myself and to others because I couldn't finish my writing goals for today because I've been in bed using YT shorts, Reddit stories, the same 1 or 2 songs, and reality show clips to drown out my suffering all day.

If I ever mention wanting to drink coffee again, someone please do me a favour and slap me in the face.
