ive seen a lot of design 'critiques' getting upset with her hair especially and its starting to rub me the wrong way.

she has the same hairstyle as rincle, just cubed. but i dont recall anyone complaining about rincle? who is also a black character? actually every sphere in the series is heavily black coded

compared to her sisters she has way curlier/thicker hair. ajacenus and ajavex seem to have less texture in theirs than she does. but its pretty obvious this is a black girl

It's been painfully clear to me that some people are just so fucking sick and cruel to each other, and the fact that most of them are anons because they know damn well they can get away with it is fucking disgusting. Hence why I, at first, turned off anonymous asks on my blog.

Then the shitheads that genuinely thought it was a good idea to send graphic gore art to harass some of the Digital Circus artists on Tumblr I look up to began creeping in like cockroaches. To the point where they had to temporarily turn off asks altogether to avoid getting harassed to no end, and in solidarity with them, I turned off asks myself.

Even when they did eventually turn the asks back on, but without the anonymous asks on as well, the harassment would continue for other accounts as well.

So I have made a painful decision as a result of people refusing to learn their lesson from previously...

All asks will remain off on my blog, and this time, IT WILL BE PERMANENT.

Besides, nobody was using it anyway and it was already as dry as the Sahara Desert. I have wanted to turn the asks back on, but seeing everyone else suffer from the idiotic shenanigans of the bullies and harassers towards my fellow fandom goers, mutuals or close friends, in The Amazing Digital Circus fandom on Tumblr (one of only two safe havens for me in this fandom) has made this decision completely impossible now. I seriously refuse to take the risk of some random hooligan ruining my goddamn good mood over being a petty bully with self-entitlement and brutish brattiness in the asks box, because it has become so tragically clear to me that some people refuse to see the error of their ways. This is why we can't have nice things, everyone.

Please for the love of God, Allah, Zeus, Ra, Odin, or whatever deity you worship in whatever religion you practice, just behave when Episode 4 of TADC comes out, and try not to ruin everyone's days with your entitlement, pettiness, and arrogance. And please be sure to behave during the waiting period as well.

Disney Mirrorverse is shutting down.

I logged into Discord yesterday and saw that the Disney Mirrorverse server made this announcement in the screenshot above. I'll be honest, after I read this announcement, my stomach dropped. I felt a little queasy; I was in utter disbelief. From the moment after I watched the Official Announce Trailer two years ago, this game had become a big part of me.

For the past two years, I’ve adored this game, its characters, and its universe. It sparked my interest in Disney crossovers and gave me my most unexpected ship and OTP: Belle from Beauty and the Beast and James P. Sullivan ‘Sulley’ from Monsters Inc. Never in a million years would I have imagined a crossover between these two characters, but Disney Mirrorverse delivered spectacularly! Since then, it has opened the door to many other Disney crossover ships and friendships for me.

What drew me to this game were the characters. I couldn’t help but wonder, “Why does everyone look so badass? What kind of threat are they facing that brings Disney’s most famous heroes and villains together to fight for a cause bigger than themselves, or even the universe—or should I say, universes?”

I love Disney Mirrorverse. I can’t express it any other way—I just love it. It might sound a bit silly that an app game could make a woman in her early twenties so happy, but it did. It breaks my heart to see two years of something that has brought me so much joy coming to an end. I’ll be dreading the coming months, knowing that Disney Mirrorverse is inching closer to disappearing from existence and my life.

 When Disney Mirrorverse was first released, some users experienced issues downloading the game on their Android devices. These problems were due to compatibility issues with certain Android versions or device specifications. Additionally, there were occasional server-side issues and regional restrictions that could have affected availability.

When I was trying to download the game well into the year it came out, it wasn’t fully supported on my Android device at that time. So, I would scour the internet for any and every crumb on Disney Mirrorverse I could find. It wasn't until February of this year that I was finally able to download it.

Am I sad? Yes. Is my life over? No. My wise friend @frie-ice , who I met through Disney Mirrorverse, told me, ‘After Disney Mirrorverse is gone, we’ll keep it alive with our creativity and works.’ And that’s exactly what I plan to do. I’ll continue to share my theories, stories, and ships for Disney Mirrorverse long after it’s gone.

Frie-Ice also mentioned that they'll hopefully keep Disney Mirrorverse alive through books and other merchandise. I really hope they do because I just finished reading ‘Mirrorverse: Pure of Heart’ and ‘Disney Mirrorverse: Belle’ and both of the endings definitely leave room for a sequel.

Well, that's all I have to say. Alright, everyone who has Disney Mirrorverse downloaded, please play it for as much as you can before December 16th. As for everyone who doesn't, my deepest apologies.

I sometimes get asks from people relating to medical stuff, and that's understandable! Amber is a medic, after all. But please note that I am not a real expert on medical related subjects.

Sending stuff like "Amber, I have a fever and have to stay at home. Advice?" or "Amber, I'm sick and I need comfort :(" is totally okay! I sometimes will search up on the internet for remedies (staying home, taking medicine, resting, etc), but overall, if it's a simple ask I can answer to, it's A-OK!

But questions discussing specific symptoms of an illness/injury, are questions that I can't answer. If you are severely ill, please go to a doctor to get a proper diagnosis or assistance. I get that there are people (including myself) that find great comfort with Amber, and I can't blame you for wanting to go to a comfort character for, well, comfort!

If reassurance or life/simple medical advice is what you want, I can provide it! But please, if your health is in a bad state (mental too, not just physical) and/or want a diagnosis, please go to experts for help, not me.

Thank you for reading. I didn't intend to offend or call out anyone (sorry if it feels like I have!), but I felt like I had to get the word out there.

Hey everyone,

I'm writing this because there's something I would like everyone who plans on asking me or other writers requests to know.

You can't ask for a deadline or constantly ask when your request will be done.

I'm sure there are writers out there who are good at keeping up with requests and constantly being active on their platforms, but I am not one of them.

Try to remember that most of us, if not all of us, are not getting paid to do this. We do not owe anyone our time and effort. If you ask for something specific and the writer agrees to do it, then please just leave it at that.

The same could be said for getting angry if a writer refuses to make your request.

I am addressing this because I have been sent multiple dms from different users, asking about their requests that I have agreed to write, but some have now sent multiple messages to the point that I no longer want to fulfill the request. That's who I am. If someone continuously gets after me to do something, I eventually shut down and never do it, or at least not until I'm finally in the right mindset again.

Please stop checking in, asking about progress, or whether or not your request is finished. Writers are people, too, with lives outside of the internet, with jobs and families and other hobbies.

The same can be said for artists, too.

If you're not paying a writer/artist for their time, then please just leave your request at the front door. If we're left alone, and we have free time, I can almost guarantee that writers/artists will one day pick it up.

To make sure this doesn't happen again, I'll be sure to edit and change my rules on requests. Maybe this was my fault for not writing it in my rules in the first place, but I thought it was just common knowledge.

(Edit: It looks like I already did have it in my rules and I even reblogged it as a gentle reminder because this has already happened before)

Everyone, I encourage you to please please please read a writer/artist's rules before you message/ask them something. I don't think anyone likes having to repeat themselves.

This DOES NOT include people simply asking me when I'm going to update. Those are not the same, and even though they can be a lot, I enjoy those messages. Those messages make me believe people truly care about what I have to say and they can't wait for what I have next in store.

For the users who have been checking in on their requests with me: Please don't take this as a personal attack or think that any of you specifically triggered this response. It was a long time coming, with multiple instances from multiple people. I'm sure you weren't trying to be rude.

Please if you see ads on YouTube from supportpets.com, report them as scam and publicly boycott. Their service advertises "certification for Emotional Support Animals", "allowing you to take your pets almost anywhere!" But here's the facts.

-An ESA is legally classified to allow disabled people and those with low income to avoid being denied housing under "no pets" policies. They are NOT public access friendly, they are not required to be trained, there is no certification. You get a letter from your doctor and you give it to the prospective landlord.

-a SERVICE ANIMAL is one of two types (the other being therapy animals) of publicly allowed animals addressed under the Americans With Disabilities Act (the ADA), being a dog or horse (with specific exceptions being a case by case basis) that is trained to perform a task to aid a disabled person. Legal protections under the ADA allow for service animals to have public use without certification or documentation-- the person can only be asked if the dog is trained for a disability related task, and ask about the trained task, and that is it. As long as the dog behaves itself in public, this is ALL that is needed.

-Support Pets is twisting the definition of ESA, scamming pet owners into buying bunk certification to let their pets come around with them, and contributing to an ongoing and dangerous problem that is pet owners bringing their rowdy, untrained animals into public spaces. Disabled people have spoken countless times about how distractions and attacks from these "Public ESAs" have resulted in their dog failing to signal a health crisis, getting hurt or even being required to retire from duty due to behavioral issues or physical damages following.

Please share this, spread it everywhere you can. Boycott this company and report their ads on Google and YouTube for breaking their ad policies on scams.
