I cannot explain to you in words how much I fucking adore Simon Fairchild. Anyone who doesn’t love him can fight me, because

He winked at a terrified civilian as he threw himself off of a cable car.

He called Martin ‘my boy’ on their first meeting.

He doesn’t mind the thought of dying.

He toyed with the idea of throwing Martin into the Vast as a joke.

He’s the cool grandpa despite being literally centuries old.

He pities the Fears’ entities and is sympathetic towards them.

He doesn’t care about the pointlessness of the world and just tries to have a good time.

He uses phrases such as ‘charming chap’ and ‘absolutely lovely’ and ‘I say’ and ‘goodness’ and I am in fucking love.

I’m going to have to stop here before this post becomes several encyclopaedias long because I could quite literally go on all week about his sheer amazingness.

Back at it again with more fanart for “caught in the undertow” by @redyarns !

These panels take place in Ch. 3, in a scene that lives in my head rent free ever since I read it. Ultra Magnus was so imposing and Sentinel’s anxiety was so palpable! I’ve been wanting to draw for this scene for weeks but couldn’t quite figure it out until today. (Anyway I’m ready to throw hands with Ultra Magnus.)

THIS scene in Ch.6 fucking killed me with laughter. I know it was a serious moment and full of moral conflict, but the image of Megatron just standing there bleeding from a interrogation torture session, while Moonracer and Smokescreen have a heart-to-heart was too good.

I need someone knowledge about IDW characters because I want to make a one shot about Miko for whatever reason getting transported in the middle of Megatron's trial in the apex armor and immediately trying to throw hands.

Ultra Magnus is in the middle of reading Megatron's war crimes or something then out of nowhere Miko comes crashing in and breaks the podium. Everyone is immediately on edge and ready to fight but once the dust clears they are all very confused.

Who or what is that!???

She gets up and sees Megatron and this weird place so she assumes he has something to do with it. So the situation plays out like:

Miko: Ugh, where a- YOU!!! 🫵

Megatron confused: Me??

Miko: What the frag is going on and who are all these people? Magnus?

Ultra Magnus: Identify yourself creature.

Miko: You don't remember me? Dude it's me!

Ultra Magnus: I do not know who you are.

Miko: What's going on?! Why does everyone look so different???

Miko to Megatron: WHAT DID YOU DO?!

Megatron: I didn't do anything?????

Miko: You might look different but you're the same old buckethead who tried taking over Earth!

Megatron: W-hat?? What's Earth?

Miko then punches Megatron in the face and tries to destroy him. She's torn off by multiple bots. Then idk I don't know what happens next. I don't know how these characters would react or what they do.

The Canary is the first to die. And maybe RedCanary is dead, and maybe they’re not, but either way, they’re a symbol of the beginning of the horrible things to come

I want to read more about relationships build on an unshakable foundation of trust and loyalty. I want to see it wholesome. I want to see it codependent. I want them so close there are no boundaries between them, and I want them to trust each other so much they never pry into one anothers secrets, because there is nothing that could be revealed, that would change their regard for one another. I want to see relationships like this that are unshakable and all involved enjoy being in. And I love this concept of absolute or at least strong, shameless devotion towards each other.

BUT WHAT DID EVERYONE EXPECT? You leave the man questioning his humanity every waking second, ALONE. And then y’all are SURPRISED when he has moments of weakness? The man tried to defend that he could have an addiction. LIKE COME ON!!

Jon’s an idiot getting dragged along by the narrative, but they basically thrust him straight into the waiting arms of the fears leaving him alone. HE DOESN’T DESERVE THE BLAME FOR THAT.
