Some Donnie tech doodles! A lot of how his tech works in the show is honestly more magic than the actual mystic stuff. How’d he fit all those tennis balls in his tech-bō when they fought the silverfish?? Maybe he’s been using some ninpō to enhance his stuff far before he realized it…

I tried to be a little more realistic with what might fit inside the tech-bō, though it’s far from hard science!

appreciation post for the tiny characterization details in glinda and elphaba's letters:

- glinda having her own personalized printed stationary, elphaba just using a loose sheet

- elphaba writing in a practical print that's a little messy because she's just focused on getting down the message, glinda writing in clean cursive because she's all about the aesthetic (sets up "form over content" well)

- elphaba properly indenting the letter, glinda having pretty inconsistent paragraph spacing

- even when it comes to the pens, glinda's is fancier while elphaba's looks more generic. everything glinda has is personalized to herself and her aesthetic, while elphaba is likely used to not having anything catered to her personally

#this was supposed to be a warmup but i got carried away.... i havent drawn in so long that its been hard to focus orz #im testing a new brush for fun. again.. i think i can use this for clean lineart..?? im surprised i went as long as i did with the #narinder brush honestly... but i wanna try something new so here we are again #if i could get my shit together id love to draw a model of his van because i have smth really cool in mind..i was looking at pictures #of old wooden caravans like the horse drawn ones and i wonder if i could combine that with the shape of an RV #i like the ones with a door at the rear bc it kinda lookslike a train caboose.. maybe he'd get someone to weld him a custom ride!!#idk how intricate and detailed i can design it without making it a pain in the ass to draw every time BUT i have a general idea #it would probably have a door on the side but idk if itd flip down to make a stage or upwards to make a roof?? and then theres a #curtain behind it where he would come out and do his show methinks.. ive been looking at pictures of camping vans on pinterest for ideas #i dont think he LIVES in the van since i mentioned his home is an old run down theatre when he isnt on the road. i wanna draw that too #but the RV should have enough for long travels like a bed and cabinets..? maybe a net hanging on the ceiling where all his props go #id like to think of ideas for a hometown.. toronto has a huge entertainment district so it would make sense for him to live there #although id also love to base parts of it from vancouver since id love to go back and visit </3 #..would there be furth names for those places?? nyancouver... clawronto... whinnypeg (like a horse whinny)...#pawson creek.... purrlington... otterwa.. i love coming up with names lol #my art #myart #my oc #oc #sleight #laikas comet oc #fan character #fur #furry art

sooooooo when i jokingly said to myself "haha did ruan mei play aeonic necromancy on tingyun's remains or something" i wasn't expecting that to literally be the case what the fuck

#ON ONE HAND! TINGYUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#ON THE OTHER! HELLO???????????????????????????????????#that was a really good update . a little clunky in those transitions sometimes but ooooh boy that came together GOOD #jiaoqiu nearly sent me into hysterics i was so upset . and flabbergasted. mostly flabbergasted #also the part where hoolay let him go for a little bit and you had the option to try asking for help #with severe consequences to be reaped afterwards. that was so nervewracking #i ended up doing it once out of curiosity and immediately regretted it and was horribly anxious the rest of the time i was running around #and yeah those consequences sure do. Consequence #props to the writers and stuff for that one that was great i felt ill #FEIXIAO... GOD FEIXIAOOOOO OHHHH BOY I LOVE HERRR what a great character #i hoped and i prayed and i dreamed for a deep dive into her condition and not a vague gloss-over as hyv loves to do AND I GOT IT #moze didn't do enough tricks (aka just . being a part of the story and interacting with other characters) for me to care about him still #it's like #the yaoqing trio: yay yahoo yippee WOOOO YAYYYY #moze by himself: closes my eyes forever #DO MORE TRICKS FOR ME #lingsha's pretty cool. i will save her from her bad design #oh oh oh YANQING!!!!!!!!!!
