Hi I'm new here, and some people recommend me your feralnette au, but when it start? And what the au is about?

the feralnette au starts just after the season 3 finale, somewhat after miracle queen. Reaching a mental breaking point, Marinette can't handle her social life, her grades, being ladybug and being the guardian without giving up one of them. in an act of incredible sacrifice and self sabotage, she cuts herself off from the class to focus more on investigating hawkmoth, and to distance herself from her friends, believing some part of herself is the problem with akumatizations.

After such a change, the Marinette we have is much more jaded and much more tired, and in order to change her reputation of "everyday ladybug," to further distance her civilian persona and her ladybug persona, she begins changing her interactions with people in her daily lives - resorting to violence or sarcasm when in the past she would've been the first to talk things out. (thus, the "feral" part of feralnette)

shit happens. stuff gets wildin. we get a little blasphemous, a little heretical, and a little eldritched. talk about edgy. keep in mind I started this a few years ago (oh god) so some stuff isn't going to align with the new seasons of mlb.

the pacing in the first chapter is a bit funky, as I actually wasn't planning on making it a full fledged comic, but something-something i have no self control lmao.

Imagine how weird it was for four only children to suddenly live with the most chaotic and unruly siblings known to man.

Kai and Nya is the current gen of elemental masters stupid sibling duo, and Wu and Garmadon was every other generations.

No because imagine the way Cole, Jay and Zane probably almost had a breakdown the first time Kai and Nya had an argument.

“AT LEAST I ACTUALLY HAVE A BRAIN MR ‘whats 4x4’, DONT COME AT ME WITH THAT SHI ASS VOCABULARY.”

“OH SUREEEE MS OVERACHIEVER AT LEAST I DIDNT ALMOST PASS OUT AFTER MY FIRST ALL NIGHTER, COULD NEVERRRR BE ME.”

“GO BACK TO THE RETIREMENT HOME MR CANDY CORN TEETH.”

“DONT COME AT MY TEETH WHEN YOURE OUT HERE LOOKING LIKE EDNA MODE-”

And then they’re eating cookies as Nya asks again if Kai can finally cut her hair. You have Kai saying he can’t fix that rats nest and Nya saying it’s better than the mop on his head. Those three have never been the same.

And then Lloyd suddenly has Nya and Kai acting like the most irritating people alive after they all became siblings. Cole, Jay and Zane already suffered through those two breaking into their rooms and not leaving, their stuff disappearing, the petty arguments, the random insults, the having to split things fairly and evenly, suddenly being lovingly attacked by one of them, the random staring contests, so on. It’s Lloyd’s turn and he hates every moment of it.

Love to think it was these two’s comfortability with each other that really made them all become family when that comfort spread to all of them. They don’t understand social cues people.

In your April meets the turtles post, you said the brothers' timlines were unnaturally tied to Mikey's. Does this mean he was supposed to find these Bad Ending versions of his brothers– who had no family left– so he could adopt them as his own brothers? And if so, what is the force behind the scenes orchestrating this 'reunion'? Ancestors? A cosmic being? The timelines having their own way of ordering themselves? Or is it just an anomaly?...How much does this matter to the overall story? Am I just being pedantic at this point?

This dives deep into how I personally interpret the multiverse and alternate timelines, my own headcanons and all that jazz, so allow me a moment to attempt to elaborate on this XD

To me, it seems reasonable to assume that the multiverse is a bit of a fragile thing. Powerful and tough in its own right, but it can only deal with so much stress before it just breaks.

So in my mind, I like to think that physically, this AU is a bit. . . weird. In comparison to other AU's mechanical structure that is.

Most other universes deal with just one timeline. There are certain instances of course where maybe two timelines cross over to one another, merging together to become one (ex. the whole Casey Jr situation in the movie.)

I would assume there would've been a few minor, hardly noticeable repercussions, but it wasn't enough to cause any serious issues to the overall universe.

My AU? It has four coexisting timelines, each with their own unique experiences and outcomes. They're so incredibly different that they should have branched off to become their own separate worlds; and yet they are so incredibly similar that the connection was never properly severed.

Hence the reason why Mikey was able to find them so quickly.

He pulled them all together, causing a multiversal anomaly.

Scientifically speaking, it shouldn't even be possible. That kind of strain would normally cause a cataclysmic collapsion that wouldn't just destroy all four timelines -

- It would essentially create a wormhole more powerful than space and time itself, leaving nothing left of this world.

But that never happened.

When Michelangelo returned home with his brothers, out of the three parents' reactions, Baron Draxum's was probably the most. . . explosive.

Not out of anger of course, but out of shock and maybe a bit of fear. Being the kind of guy that he is, he's done his fair share of research on the multiverse. He knows what should have happened when Mikey didn't, and has been searching for answers since the day the boys arrived.

Why hadn't everything completely fallen apart??

He found the answer when he decided to examine the timeline itself.

Draxum discovered the reason why the timeline hadn't completely collapsed was because an immense power source was stabilizing everything.

And not just a power source - a living, breathing, intelligent life form, channelling an unbelievable amount of mystic energy unlike anything he had ever come across before.

Any little information given in ancient writings about this unknown being was cryptic and impossible to make out.

But in one old Japanese scroll, worn by time, Draxum was able to find one key note:

神秘的な戦士。 (Shinpi tekina senshi.)

一族の末っ子。 (Ichizoku no suekko.)

最後の浪人。(Saigo no rōnin.)

You ask if Mikey was always meant to find these "bad endings," and I suppose it depends on whether the viewer believes in fate or not.

Do I believe Mikey was meant to?

Yes.

I love how people are only ever interested in defending Arya's right to be weird-looking. It's never defending her intelligence from people who claim she's incapable of thinking for herself, highlighting her importance to the plot and refusing to see her as just a prop, acknowledging how much of her story gets stolen and given to other characters, talking about her trauma or how often it gets erased and overlooked, seeing her as more than just an attack dog/bodyguard, etc. Nope. It's just a "why can't people let Arya be ugly/unconventional looking? :(" post every other week because people are, for whatever reason, obsessed with how Arya is visually perceived. One of the most misinterpreted characters yet the issue is only ever with her being portrayed as "too pretty" or the wrong "type" of pretty. This fandom will entirely rewrite a character's motivations, values, and role in the story to the point that they consider references to canon "hate" but! The true injustice to canon is we acknowledge that she is described as pretty several times. Arya simply existing as her pretty, important, and non-conforming self is too complex and confusing for people to comprehend 😔.
