Don't get me wrong, playing God of War: Ragnarök and I love it but... I REALLY wish the fanbase talked more about the older games!! It feels like the whole classic era got swept under the rug so we could focus on the new games.

Is there a tag for the older GoW stuff so I can find content relating to that era SPECIFICALLY? I dig the Greek stuff!!

Obsessed with Lloyd never mentioning his grandfather is the First Spinjitsu Master, apparently to the point even Arin didn't seem to know, because "eh, it never came up". Cause like, yeah, sure, my grandfather is God, what of it? Normal day for me. Shit happens. My dad is also evil, you wanna talk about that? I sure don't.

It's also funny from a character arc perspective. Here's itty bitty baby first season Lloyd, loudly proclaiming he's the son of Garmadon, and probably also making sure everyone knows he's God part 3 electric boogaloo. And then one Tomorrow's Tea and a few more years later and he's doing everything physically possible to NOT care about his heritage. In fact he'd probably rather his parentage was literally anyone else. Dude could care so less he forgets about it most of the time. King behavior.

years of trying to find an okay and affordable apartment came to an end: I was finally able to close the sad stack of tabs with apartment listings after signing my contract today🎉🎉🎉

#now I only need to find a better paying and less stressful job #at least something positive happened today #the rental market is completely fucked though fr #i was only able to get an apartment at this price thanks to a Housing cooperative - aka the only non capitalistic landlords #and i dont even have to pay for the shares thanks to my mother (bless her) giving me the shares she inherited from my damned grandfather #i can move in in march probably and i have to buy literally everything except for a desk a wardrobe and 2 shelves #rip my bankaccount

It's so icky I hate it

Honestly my only major exception is 12 and River, I feel like there was still a major power imbalance and the Doctor's relationship with River was super messed up anyway but 12 and River were actually really cute and had good chemistry.

i want beniko and yorishima to hang out. i think they'd balance each other out well. antisocial old man and woman who resents a different old man for dying before she could socialize him. yorishima probably knew her grandfather and probably was cranky about his whole youkai friendship situation, which beniko was also cranky about. ultimately beniko has to make her peace with the fact that she avoided her grandfather because she couldn't share his world and that now that he's dead it's too late to reach out to him. yorishima isn't a substitute for her grandfather, but he is a guy who's isolating himself not just from humans who can't see, but also from humans who can see and from youkai. his perspective overlaps with hers in some ways and with hakozaki's in some ways and completely diverges from both in others. i think it would be good for both of them and i would like to see it.

#i also want beniko to hang out with tanuma. though maybe after her grief is a little less fresh. because that will be #emotionally devastating for her probably #like oh here's a guy who made a completely different decision than you when faced with someone who could see things he couldn't see #and is reaping the rewards of the intimacy and friendship that result from that decision #the intimacy that you never had with your grandfather. that you could have had if you had chosen differently #<-is maybe how she would see it though obviously hakozaki and natsume are very different. natsume is trying harder for one thing #natsume's book of friends #my posts #natsume yuujinchou #hakozaki arc #yorishima #i'm thinking of this right now because of s07e06 but it's informed by ch 120
