It's so weird to see canon shippers so insecure about their ship that they go around attacking people for liking alternatives. Why are they so hot and bothered if people don't see canon as gospel and wish canon was different in a certain way? It's even funnier when they ignore certain parts of canon themselves to make their ships more palatable. Like how some Kataang shippers ignore the comics or how Romione fans whitewash Hermione and erase her violent tendencies their fanfics.

If Zutara becomes canon by some miracle in NATLA, it does not mean Kataang in ATLA will suddenly disappear. If people ship Harmione or Dramione, it does not mean Hermione is cheating on Ron in canon and Romione will divorce in the epilogue.

So I wrote this post about Lucien deserving Elain in a fit of anger. And now I'm back with more anger because guess what guys.

Elain ALSO deserves Lucien.

I see it all the time. "Lucien deserves someone who actually likes him." Followed by bashing Elain as if she is the worst person ever and doesn't deserve love.

Please stop pretending like you're making this argument because you care about Lucien. Lucien deserves his soulmate. He deserves to have that HEA with the one person who he has a soul to soul connection with. Don't throw side characters and randos at him that do not make sense at all to his narrative or how SJM had canonized how mating bonds work. Do you honestly think Lucien is going to care that some other female wants him???? Do you even get that Lucien can easily get any female in Prythian and has gotten many of them but none of them really mattered to him the way Elain matters to him.

Listen to his words. He tells everyone he's a mated male now for a reason. He is loyal to Elain regardless of whether she is showing him desire.

Elain is a GOOD person. Just like Lucien. She is kind and thoughtful. Careful and empathetic. Strong and resilient. Elain loves with her whole heart. She loved her father when no one else could see as worthy. Not even her sisters. She loved Graysen faithfully even if he was a scumbag who didn't deserve her devotion. So, I think Elain knows what it means to love, and she is not ready to give away her heart so fast again. Especially not to someone who can see all of her.

Yes, it's hard that she isn't ready to love Lucien yet. But girl has been THROUGH it. She has been struggling with a loss of her autonomy, her future, and her identity. And all of that with the pressure of a soulmate who is a stranger. None of you can say you'd handle it perfectly either.

And guess what. Lucien, my brave and soulful man, understands that. He is the only one who acknowledged when Elain was severely depressed in ACOWAR that she suffered a trauma. He is the only one that gives her space rather than pushing his opinions or desires of what he wants her to be onto her. He knows she isn't ready. And he's waiting. Giving her space but also being present enough so she knows he is there when she is ready to get to know him. That is all he has wanted.

Jumping to the assumption that Elain "doesn't even like him" is bold. You don't know Elain's thoughts. You don't know how she really feels about Lucien as a person. We have some inklings about what she thought about the bond right after her terrible breakup that she was still mourning. We know that before Lucien left on a dangerous mission, she took a half step as if to stop him. We know that she has shown genuine care over whether he's hurt. And we know that she feels the connection to him (I can hear your heart beating through the stone) and that is never going away. We know that Elain is affected by Lucien and it's not a leap to think that she feels as drawn to him as he is to her, she just has to be ready. And maybe Elain can tell Lucien is a good male who she doesn't want to inflict her messiness on just yet. Maybe she knows to jump in too fast wouldn't be fair to him either.

So many denigrate Elain and say she is boring, selfish, or mean all because she is struggling through a tough time in her life. And even in that struggle, she still maintains her kindness. She still searches for hope. She still wants to better herself. Which sounds a lot like that mate of hers. And when she is ready to fall in love again, she will get exactly the man that she deserves. Lucien Vanserra. Because Elain deserves the unconditional love that he has to offer. Finally someone will return it back to her.

It’s absurd to respond to such messages, but I can’t do without a comment.

First of all, I know that Grindeldor is canon. But I’m indifferent to this pairing; I’m not attracted to JK Rowling’s vision of the interaction between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Especially what is shown in "Fantastic Beasts".

However, I accept that this is CANON and do not offend Grindeldor shippers in any way.Why are they writing to me not to ship Malbus? This is a fanon pair. In fanon, anything is possible. Why do many people see heterosexual heroes as Gays in fanon? For example, a wolfstar from marauders fandom.

Is it impossible to make a character who is gay in the canon heterosexual or bisexual?It's hypocritical, don't you think?

I love Malbus, they are my favorite fanon couple of the HP world and I will not stop shipping them and making content. If you don't like something, that's your problem.I believe that there are many more problems in the world and it is very stupid to start a showdown over fictional characters.

When talking about some ships, people always seem to forget that they aren't in an actual abusive relationship. And I'm tired of reading always the same thing about them. They always say they're abusive, but I'm here to tell you that no, these two ships aren't abusive. Not at all.

First, about the "Bakudeku."

In Boku No Hero episode 1, before Bakugo and Izuku were classmates in the UA, Bakugo told Izuku "kys", that's true. And Bakugo abused Izuku, that's also true. But tell me one thing. During their time in UA, Bakugo hurt Izuku like a partner would? Yeah, he called him "Deku" (and we all know what that word means), but apart from that, what did he do to Midoriya for you to call him abusive? And last time I watched the anime, at the beginning, their friendship before going to UA was only one-sided (that's what implied the moment when Bakugo rejected his help to get up in the river when they were still kids) and they weren't a couple, so technically you can't even call Bakugo an abusive friend, much less an abusive partner. First, have that in mind.

Secondly, after Bakugo apologized to Izuku for hurting him, do you think he would ever dare to hurt him again? Because it's not believable. After Bakugo's apology, he would never hurt Izuku, not in a emotional nor in a physical way.

And thirdly, are you so worried about people shipping this couple, which is not even canon and there are fanfics/fanarts where their relationship is VERY healthy (and I'm sure they wouldn't be toxic even if they were canon, not after Bakugo's apology), when there is A LOT of ACTUALLY TOXIC canon ships????

Now, talking about Catradora

So we all know what happened between them since the beginning of the show, right? They were friends, later they became enemies, then they became relluctant-allies, until they became friends again and finally, at the end of the show, they became lovers. When talking about "Catradora", anti-Catradora's fans always say Catra is toxic towards Adora, and they also say the Catradora is a toxic ship. But... where is the toxicity in their romance? Well, better said- their "ex-friends who became enemies and then they became lovers at the end of the show" relationship. Can you read that? Because that's exactly what happened in the show.

Catra and Adora were friends when they were in the Fright Zone, until Adora discovered the sword and she became She-Ra. Then, she switched sides, going through a Heel-Face turn because she discovered she was in the bad side all along. You know what happened after that? Exactly, Catra and Adora became enemies. And since the beginning of the show, and until season 5, they still were enemies. Not friendly-rivals, not friends, and not lovers. They were enemies. And correct me if I'm wrong, (which I'm not) but you're not supposed to treat your enemy kindly or gently. They are your enemy and not anything else for a reason. They're not your partner, your friend or nothing like that. You hate them. You want to see them destroyed. Because they're your enemy.

But we all know there's a little thing called "enemies to lovers". You know that exists, right? The trope where two enemies who hurt each other become a couple? The trope where two people from opposite sides come to terms and they are no longer fighting each other? Yes? You know that trope? Because that's exactly what happens in this show.

Their relationship is like this: friends-enemies-friends-lovers. And if we watched the same show (I doubt that because if we watched the same show you wouldn't be saying Catradora is toxic) you should be aware that they become a couple at the end of the show. You should be aware that we don't see them being abusive towards each other when they are a couple. And again, as I said in another post, "A" character hurting "B" character when they are in opposite sides is not the same as "A" character hurting "B" character when they are an actual couple. So, therefore, Catradora can't be toxic because we didn't see them being abusive when they were girlfriends.

BoB means "Buddie or Bust". Many buddies are not satisfied with the show and want their fanon ship to go canon. They hate Buck and Tommy being together, they hate Tommy, and they also hate Buck being with any other person than Eddie.

Without Buck, it makes it harder for Eddie to be gay in canon, even if nothing points in that direction anyway (not even Ryan Guzman, who said multiple times he wants Eddie to be a straight guy being best friend with a queer man). So anything is good to make buddie happen.

Anyway, BoB is a nickname that encapsulate their motivation and goal in this fandom, to the point of obsession, delusion and harassment. So whatever you choose to ship, make sure to be respectful, things go wild and wrong pretty quickly around here!

Since last night I couldn't sleep at all, I started to think about my headcanons and ships. So I'm a big Lukanette fan, like they're my OTP and endgame for me. But also I like other ships that involve both Luka and Marinette by their own.

I don't dislike the love square and indeed I think Adrienette is a beautiful teen love (yes, despite the stalking thing, but tbh when my friends and I were teens, some of them were a bit stalker, so I can't criticize Marinette), but I think Adrienette is more a teen-to-college love-like; so after Marinette and Luka break up and during their middle and high school years and first years of college, I have this headcanon about Luka and Chloe, while Marinette and Adrien are dating.

Yes, I'm pretty sure Luka wouldn't date the mean Chloe, just because she hurt some of the people he loves the most (Juleka and Marinette), but I also think that Luka is the kind of guy who doesn't judge anyone before knowing them and that he could give Chloe a chance (a Chloe that's redeeming herself). And if he witnessed how hard Chloe is trying to redeem herself, I'm pretty sure he would support her and, eventually, they would become closer, fall in love and start dating; not dating for marriage, but for several years. Also I imagine them remaining as friends after their breakup (and Chloe trying to pair off Luka and Marinette after Marinette and Adrien break up too).

So I think Luka could teach Chloe to be more open and honest with herself and Chloe could teach Luka to be a little less selfless.
