for a shadow's quest au, would the aesthetics of it be a bit like princess quest?

for some reason, your description of how it involves a quest to save the spirits across multiple realms is reminding me of princess quest, and making me think how pretty it would be if it was depicted as a medieval pixelated game with nice lighting :D

i'm guessing it would be a medieval/fantasy style au, right? and also would each of the realms involve a different biome (like a water realm, a plant realm, a stone realm)?

When I started to think about it further, I do kind of agree—I do think that, the aesthetics at least, would sort of be like it.

Fantasy style was the type I was going for—but there’s still some other bits mixed in, too.

The realms that RXQ goes through—which, as a little side note, the rabbit is glitching into them, rather than entering the other way—aren’t centered around biomes.

I’m still figuring it out fully, but they’re all just different. “Oh, look at this realm- dark sky, never light out, some castles over there, etc.”

And then the previous one the rabbit had gone to before that one just looked eerily similar to home—just with some subtle differences or something.

Hello everyone! Let's all pretend it HASN'T been three years since my last post here! And look! Fresh Huey content, just as I promised!

If you remember my old Huey humanization, this isn't a redesign. This is a "transformed" design for a Magical Girl AU I've been working on! The AU itself is currently mostly concepts, but obviously Huey gets special treatment.

Not every single character in the AU is going to get a ref like this - Huey's design just happens to have a lot of asymmetry going on, so I wanted to document all of it. The little rings near his wrists are references for the positions of the colors for the rainbow gradient ruffles, just because I felt like I needed one.

After taking some time away to let her have her space, Luster Dawn’s grandparents were invited over again to start anew on the custody discussions. But when they got there, they found their granddaughter with the Princess of Love and a lawyer to make arrangements on her behalf. The filly explained that she was old enough to choose for herself, and not only did the lawyer agree but Empress Cadence was ready to officiate things if they could come to an agreement.

Luster soon came to the conclusion that she would stay close to home in the Crystal Empire, visiting her grandparents only when she wanted to. Ultimately, the decision was in her hooves, just as it always should have been.
