The floor groaned as Toad stepped into Rosalina’s room. He was greeted by the sight of her pacing back and forth. The white carpet underneath filled with indents from her heels. Toad walked over and wrapped his arms around her from behind. Rosalina startled, her crown slipping off her head and onto the ground.

“Toad?”

Toad hummed in agreement. “You okay?”

Rosalina turned and hid her face in his shoulder, shaking her head. Toad frowned, starting to rub her back. He held her close as Rosalina sank down onto the floor. Toad joined her, rewrapping his arms around her.

“Would it help if I told you that I spilled coffee on Princess Peach?” 

Rosalina laughed wetly, nodding. Toad smiled up at her, settling his head under her chin. “She was so pissed.”

“She had it coming." Rosalina wiped her eyes. Toad laughed and nodded. He turned, taking her hair in his hands and beginning to braid it.

“What’s wrong?” He asked

Rosalina just shook her head. “Nothing, just thinking”

“About?”

“Toad..” Rosalina looked away. “..Do you think I’m a bad person?”

“What? No” Toad furrowed his brows and tied a ribbon around her braid. “Did Peach say something?”

“No, it’s just..” Rosalina looked away and sighed. “I could’ve saved them, y'know..."

Toad leaned his head onto her chest. “You did what you thought was right, Rosa.”

Rosalina turned to rest her chin on his head, shutting her eyes. Toad smiled up at her. “I think you’re great, Rosa.”

“Really?”

“Really, really”

She loves cuddling because she’s been traveling the galaxy with no one but the lumas by her side,she’s definitely touch starved

Those moments are special to her and she’s rather keep them private

Due to being touch starved she gets easily jealous of anyone flirting with you or being around you

But once you reassure her she calms down,she’s still a bit jealous because of the years of loneliness 

She’s used to doing thing on her own and not asking for help,which is why you have to force her to accept any help

Especially when she gets sick,she insists that she’s fine even though she’s not

You thought you had to restrain her at one point just to keep her in bed

But when you’re sick it’s a completely different story,she won’t let you take a single step out of the room let alone the bed

It takes her a long time to finally say “I love you”

Because it means so much to her,for her it’s the equivalent of asking for your hand in marriage

I really love Super Mario AUs, so deciding to create an AU.

The AU is based a little on the Roleswap AU, but has some character traits.

Here are just a few drafts:

-In this world, there are several kingdoms, among the main ones are Yoshies Kingdom, Mush Kingdom and Dark Kingdom.

-Yoshi is a king who rules the Yoshies Kingdom, Birdo is the princess and girlfriend of our king Yoshi.

-The Mush Kingdom is run by Princess Mario and Princess Luigi, the idea of ​​the brothers being princesses is based on Disney princesses, along with Toadworth.

-Peach and Daisy are two Sword fighters from the Mush Kingdom, they are the brothers' bodyguards, but they have a crush on the boys.

-Rosalina is a famous poet in the Mush Kingdom, she is known for helping orphans/lumas, every Tuesday and Friday she speaks her poems and poems in Kingdom’s Square.

-Pauline is a shoemaker who works alongside her mother, her shoes are well known in the region.

-Wario, Waluigi and Wapeach work in their own bakery, the Wa Bakery, Wario is the cashier, Waluigi is the cook and Wapeach is the waiter.

-Shokora and Ashley work in their own flower shop, their flowers are very famous, Waluigi buys Piranha Plants from Shokora.

-Bowser is the ruler of the Dark Kingdom, his plan is to conquer the Mush Kingdom.

-King boo lives in the spiritual world, there is little chance of him entering the real world.

Rosalina (My Style)

I Drew my version of Princess Rosalina so just to celebrate her birthday, the anniversary of Super Mario Galaxy, and also fit well with Peach’s movie counterpart for my fanfics and crossovers.

I’m planning to work my own movie version of Princess Daisy and by the way did you spot Luma meeting Lumalee? It’s so funny and cute! 😂

In my 11-Part Mario Fanfic, during early Part 4, Rosalina and Piantissimo actually start a relationship (girlfriend & boyfriend).

Piantissimo meets Rosalina:

Luigi then introduced Piantissimo to Rosalina. Piantissimo thought to himself, "WHOA! This lady looks like an ACTUAL star-spirit! Like the ones mentioned in dat Holy Manual? WHO IS THIS ROSALINA?!" As Piantissimo saw Rosalina for the first time, he felt a pure, nurturing, loving and calming aura from Rosalina's presence. He was also intrigued with her delicate yet regal appearance and thought that Rosalina's levitating was fascinating.

Piantissimo introduced himself in a bold and polite manner, then he eagerly asked "Say, how can you float like that?! DAT'S PRETTY COOL!!" Rosalina shyly and nervously said with a few stutters that she is a master magician of star-spirit magic. Piantissimo was fascinated with Rosalina's mystique and uniqueness, but he does not have a crush on her yet.

Rosalina becomes Lovestruck:

On the other hand, when Rosalina saw Piantissimo for the first time, it was instant love at first sight. She thought Piantissimo's eyes were very pleasant and cute, she liked his chin shape along with his little goatee beard. She was taken by his confident personality when he enthusiastically asked her about her levitation power. Rosalina thought Piantissimo looked handsome in his E. Gadd Laboratories uniform.

Piantissimo becomes Lovestruck:

Eventually, during late Part 3 when Rosalina, Piantissimo and other allies had to deal with and fought Wizpig (from Diddy Kong Racing), Piantissimo began to become taken by Rosalina's soothing voice, whispy hair and golden colored eyes. Piantissimo admired her strong motherly personality when it came to help give encouraging words to him and the Mario crew, nuturing the lumas and showing loving care towards Amelia/(Mimi). Piantssimo thought Rosalina was such a brave and wonderful person for helping out someone as creepy and unpredicatable as Amelia/(Mimi) and he also started to like Rosalina flowing dress she wore often.

You sat next to King Boo’s hospital bed. The few torches scattered around the room cast him in a ghostly glow. His breathing was raspy and uneven as he lay limp on the bed. You sighed, placing your hand on his chest. You had known that Boo’s lungs were scarred, but this had shown you the true extent.

It was a little over six hours ago when King Boo collapsed as you were rushing to get to a meeting. He’d been unconscious since he was rushed to the hospital.

The sound of someone rushing into the room startled you out of your thoughts. You looked up and saw Rosalina, wide-eyed and panting.

“Is he okay!?” 

You nodded and gave her a tired smile. “He’ll be alright.”

Rosalina let out a breath and sat down next to you. She placed one hand on top of yours and gave it a light squeeze. You smiled at her appreciatively. 

“I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to my best friend,” she whispered.

She turned to look at King Boo. “Are you alright?”

King Boo groaned and turned to look at her with glassy eyes. As if he were in a trance. He silently reached his arms out, making grabby hands. Rosalina furrowed her brows but obliged and pulled Boo into a hug.

“That’s odd” You frowned as King Boo hid his face in her dress. “He’s not usually this openly affectionate.”

Rosalina gave you a guilty look. “..sorry”

You brushed off her concern. “Don’t be; I’m glad he’s not being so distant.”

“Maybe he hit his head,” Rosalina laughed. King Boo looked up and gave her an offended look, though he stayed silent. He huffed and laid his head back down.

Both you and Rosalina stared as King Boo laid back down. He was quiet, not bothering to retort. The only sound coming from him was his raspy breathing. Rosalina blinked a few times. “That's unusual.”

"Very.” You frowned. “Maybe I should call for the doctor”

Rosalina nodded and rubbed the back of Boo’s head. You left the room and came back a few minutes later with the doctor. King Boo scowled up at the doctor, sticking his tongue out at him.

“Boo!” Rosalina exclaimed. She looked up at the doctor “He’s been acting strange since he woke up.”

You nodded. “This really isn’t like him.”

The doctor frowned and looked at King Boo. “Hmm, how is he acting?”

“Clingy..childish” Rosalina explained. You nodded again. King Boo just huffed and glared at the doctor. The doctor made a note on his clipboard. “Has he been under any stress lately?”

You and Rosalina looked at each other and burst out laughing. The doctor gave you both a stern look. “Well?”

"Yeah.” You managed to get out in between laughs. The doctor nodded. “Mmm.”

“He could be regressing back to a younger age due to stress,” the doctor continued to write on his clipboard, “though it’s a rather uncommon coping mechanism.”

“That would explain why he’s being weird." Rosalina looked down at King Boo. “..alright”

You reached over and ruffled King Boo’s hair; he grumbled but leaned into your touch. The doctor turned and set a bottle of pills and a jar of paste on the dresser. “Make sure he takes these twice a day, morning and night.”

The doctor left without another word, leaving you and Rosalina to deal with Boo. You sighed and looked up at Rosalina. “I guess we should get him to bed..?”

Rosalina nodded and nudged King Boo out of her lap. “I suppose so.”

“Hey!” King Boo cried, stumbling out of her lap and crossing his arms. He glared at the two of you, pouting slightly. “I don’t wanna sleep.”

“You have to sleep." You crossed your arms. “You’re hurt; you need rest.”

“I’m fine..” King Boo whined and stomped, “I’m not going to bed!”

He stormed out of the room before either of you could reply. You looked at Rosalina in confusion. “What just happened..?”

“Let’s just go get him." Rosalina sighed. You followed her out of the room, the cold night air biting at your cheeks. You could barely make out King Boo’s figure; he was curled up against the wall. You and Rosalina rushed to his side.

King Boo whimpered, trying to hide how he’s hyperventilating. You picked him up and held him close. “Hey, sweetheart.”

King Boo grumbled and crossed his arms. He probably would’ve been kicking and screaming had he not been so out of breath. Rosalina rubbed his back “deep breaths.”

Boo shot her a glare but tried to breathe deeper, his breath raspy and shallow. You frowned and carried him back to his hospital room, laying him down in bed. 

“Don’t wanna sleep." King Boo whined, crossing his arms and glaring at the ceiling. Rosalina just sighed, visibly exasperated. You sat down and pulled the hospital blanket over him. “Why not?”

“ ‘m not tired." King Boo protested, though the bags under his eyes disagreed. You sighed and tucked him in. “You have to sleep.”

Boo huffed and crossed his arms, glaring up at you. Rosalina shook her head, crossing her arms back at him. “You’re exhausted, Boo.”

He just rolled his eyes and flopped onto his stomach. You and Rosalina glanced at each other before she groaned and sat down in bed with him. Boo huffed and grumbled as he climbed into her lap. 

“What do I do?” Rosalina gave you a helpless glance. You thought for a moment before walking over to the window and opening the blinds. Moonlight streamed in, reflecting off of Boo’s hair. The moonlight made him look terribly pale, accentuating the bruises and bags on his face and eyes.

“Tell him about the constellations." You suggested, squeezing into bed on King Boo’s other side, “He always liked that.”

Rosalina nodded anxiously, wrapping an arm around Boo’s shoulders and pointing up at the sky through the window. Boo nodded, following her gaze. 

“-And that one’s the fireflower constellation.”

Boo laid his head on her shoulder, repeating the words to himself. Rosalina nodded "exactly.”

She was about to keep speaking when Boo’s eyes shut, and he mumbled what sounded like "night, Rosa.”

“Night Boo” Rosalina ruffled his hair, tucking him under the blanket. You smiled, watching the pair cuddle. You kissed the back of Boo’s head before shutting your eyes.

"Goodnight, sweetheart, goodnight, Rosa.” 

"Goodnight, Y/N,” Rosalina echoed.

So as someone who’s top two Mario ships is Bowuigi and Rosadaisy, I came to the realization that on the surface level they are kind of similar, which lead to me thinking of a comedic scenario like this:

Whatever overwhelmed her only took a bit of bedrest to be rid of it and back on her feet. Much to her dismay, however, the king forbade her from ever returning to the courtyard.

“You’re limiting my places to go,” she remembered telling him.

“If you can prevent yourself from going to the graveyard, fine. But I do not need a repeat of what just happened.”

She remembered the melancholy in his words when he spoke such a thing. Knowing it had to do with Gwenevere, she refrained from fighting him on the matter.

Alone with her thoughts for a minute, a boo phased through the wall of her bedroom to greet her. “Hellooo, human! I am JamBoolaya, here to escort you to the King.” They floated closer to her, smiling in a way to try and ease the tension in the room. “I usually work for Boodles, but the King called on me specifically for this.”

A part of her wanted to say she could have guessed that first part, what would the food name, but she merely gave a halfhearted smile at their greeting. “It is a pleasure. I am—.”

“No need! No need!” they expressed, wiggling their arms in the air. “Everybody here knows who you are.”

Moving her lips inward, she nodded with a raise of her brow. “Mm, yeah. I tend to forget that part.” It was still hard to believe as so many boos were under King Boo’s control.

JamBoolaya excitedly hopped about in the air, heading over towards the door to go right through it, encouraging her to follow behind him. “Sooo how are things going with you two?”

It was such an awkward thing to ask. Miserably was the first word that came to mind, but she paused on offering it. “I don't know, really.”

The boo playfully spun around in mid-air, making a confused whistle of a noise. “Mm? You don't know?”
