So recently I’ve been mulling over adding an extra chapter to the 2nd fanfic that I ended rather disappointedly for some of my readers 🤭🙈

I’ve had this idea for a while but I was trying to apply it to the first fanfic where it didn’t really belong and only just now realized it was actually perfect for the second story 🤭 Something like and alternate ending.

So, big spoiler - Arina gets back to our world and… finds her Kakashi here too 🤭

I’m not sure when I’ll get round to writing the story down but I was sketching them a lot recently and finally ended up making this artwork.

So the plan is firm, just need to understand how long this addition will be - one or several chapters? 🤭 because once I began writing it quickly began going out of control whereas I planned it short and elegant 😅

The man’s name Kirill (Kir) Polev (‘poleh’ in Russiаn is ‘field’ 🤭), he’s working at the Emergencies Ministry - used to work in action but after an injury causing his left eye to lose sight almost completely retrained to provide psychological help (still affiliated with the Emergencies Ministry).

He has light blonde hair (occasionally mistaken for an albino) and blue-grey eyes (lighter shade than Kakashi).

In brief that’s how it is but I might change some details (still not sure about the eye, I wanted him to even have a prosthesis).

P.s. can I consider Kirill my OC? 😆

P.s.2 for some reason I couldn’t get rid of the impression that I was drawing L from ‘Death Note’ up until I began adding colors 🙈

This excerpt is from Those Who Play with Demons. But almost every line is super spoilery because so much of the story is a mystery and has a ton of twists and turns. Plus, this excerpt comes from my outline/first draft hybrid style, so the writing is raw.

Takes place during Donna's eighteenth birthday party, being held in the Pinciottis' backyard. Jackie and Hyde, however, have retreated to the Pinciottis' kitchen.

Mr. Pinciotti entered the kitchen, opened the fridge, and grabbed more meat presumably for the barbecue. “You kids enjoying the party?”

"Yup," Steven said.

“Then why are you in here?” Mr. Pinciotti said.

Jackie rubbed the necklace chain around her neck. “I need some privacy.”

Mr. Pinciotti shook his head a little, eyes squinting. “But you're with Hyde.”

“Bob," Steven said, "you got a problem with us bein' in your kitchen?”

“Not as long as you don't disturb Midgey". Mr. Pinciotti lowered his voice to a near-whisper. "She had one of her episodes earlier, and she's finally asleep. Whatever you do, keep it quiet, or there'll be hell to pay.”

Headcanon that since Jason can’t go out with his family publicly, what he does instead is show up in random disguises.

Bruce is chatting up some socialites at a gala, talking about the joys of fatherhood and how rewarding it is. Meanwhile he made eye contact with Jason disguised as a waiter twenty minutes ago, and is currently trying to stop his eye from twitching.

Dick is speaking to a third grade class as a part of the Bludhaven Police department outreach program, except when he walks in Jason is sitting behind the teachers desk, playing the role of substitute.

Babs can’t help but stare when Jason hands her a coffee from behind the counter of her favorite coffee shop. (His name tag reads Peter, and for a second she thinks she’s actually lost it).

Tim walks into Wayne Towers one day and on his way in, he waves to his secretary- lo and behold Marjorie has been replaced by Jason. It takes him three hours to notice.

Cass walks into ballet class to discover her teacher had to take a sick day- his replacement is Jason in a beret who talks in a terrible French accent the entire class, only to drop it at the very end to talk in a thick New Jersey accent. Her entire class talks about it for weeks.

Stephanie hails a cab on her way home one night, only to find Jason driving. She’s not sure how he pulled it off or how he got a cab, but her mind is effectively blown.

Duke is on a school trip to the natural history museum, and when the tour guide introduces himself, Duke can’t help but role his eyes. Jason gives a surprisingly good tour, even throwing in some tidbits about a robbery that went down just last week that the Signal stopped.

Damian’s encounter happens when he’s with Jon in metropolis. He’s watching Jon play baseball, and when Jon steps up to bat, he can’t help but notice a the umpire looks a little familiar.

Headcanon where after so many arguments between the batkids and Bruce over his paranoia and complete disregard for his kids privacy, the entire family had compromised with (in the healthiest way possible) downloading life360 on their phones and that's how they all keep track of each other.

Now Bruce knew that this is mostly for his benefit and is supposed to be a healthy alternative for his unhealthy paranoia and helicopter parenting, but what he wasn't expecting was for his kids to start keeping track of him.

He's putting gas in his car and Dick calls him because apparently Dick has been watching him drive around on the app? And Bruce is currently at a gas station thats right around the corner from a Taco Bell and now Dick wants him to get food for everyone since he's already there.

He's driving home from a meeting and Steph calls him because her and Duke were shopping in the area and wants to know if he can pick them up, when he asks how she knew he was on the same street, he gets a "Oh I just like to stalk everyone on the app for funsies." as an answer.

Jason calls him and he can barely get out a hello before Jason cuts him off, "Bruce why the fuck is your phone battery on 5%, charge your damn phone" which completely stuns him because why does he know that. He clears his throat before answering. "Jason, what?"

"Everyone can see each others phone batteries on '360, now charge your phone." Is all he gets before Jason hangs up on him.

nanami kento never intended for your relationship to be the first page of his newest journal. he didn't even notice when he began documenting it with a black ink pen in a plain leather notebook—writing down the moment you finally agreed to be his, as if you hadn’t been smitten by him from the first time you laid eyes on him.

each passing page became a piece of you. his dilemma on buying you flowers filled the 14th page, and by the 34th, there was a polaroid of you holding your favorite flowers—this time, he knew with confidence. your trips together occupied a few more pages, and even more were dedicated to the places he dreamed of taking you. from losses to love, nanami wrote it all down. it was his best way of keeping you—of keeping what you shared. he wanted your love to remain forever, not only in his heart but also in his hands.

when the wedding bells finally rang and he wore a suit unlike his usual ones, nanami kento stood before you, journal in hand. he read from it, a love documented from the beginning to what felt like the end of the beginning. his vows were written as though he'd known all along that he would marry you. but no, his journal didn’t just record the start of your relationship or the journey leading up to that day.

what nanami kento had not expected was that he would end up documenting your entire story.

as he began the last page with your name, followed by a comma, he wrote down everything he planned for your future together—plans he wanted to set in motion as soon as he returned from his mission. plans he would have given to you immediately after.

"let me take you to malaysia?"

you read over and over again, desperately hoping for more to follow, for another page to turn. but there were no more words. no more pages. and nanami’s voice, his presence, would no longer carry past this page.

yet, it’s hard to be angry with him. because, in the end, nanami was always a gentleman. whether knowingly or not, he left you one final letter—a letter filled with love, just like every page in his journal. because maybe, just maybe, the journal wasn’t for him to keep your love. maybe it was for you to keep his—not only in your heart but in your hands, after all.
