Re: Gardener!Chloé and re: Chloé taking her little crafts from around the hotel when she leaves

All the plants in the hotel are actually propagations or cuttings of Chloé's plants. Almost all the staff know this. Andre definitely does not. The hotel's managed to save some money since they don't have to regularly get decor or replace the plants or pay for gardeners. If she ends up being forced to leave like in S5 she's taking all the plants and planters with her (the hotel staff let her, some help her actually. they all know.) and the hotel costs spike up because they have to replace everything Chloé did for free. The replacement plants aren't as large and vibrant because Chloé's been selectively breeding them for a while and now whenever the hotel shows up on tv people start asking where the plant balcony went.

Random Archie Sonic Character Headcanons Pt. 3 Most of These Guys are Gonna Make you go Who?.

Posey Possum: Complete bookworm. She and her friend Sheldon are near inseparable and work incredibly well as a team in terms of organising and planing things from events to activities. Has a good work ethic and loves sorting through things to catalogue them. Hates when people belittle or trash talk places of learning or cool people like Sonic.

Biggest strength is her positive attitude to learning and her biggest weakness is her lack of physical strength, something she shares in common with Sheldon.

Princess Bee: Very shy around people outside of her butler, Jeepers, the young princess would burst into tears if anyone aside from another bee approached her. Benjy and Ray patiently coaxed her out of her shell and found out her name was Trixie and that Eggman's attack on the Golden Hive Colony and subsequent stay at Haven made her scared of everyone. Genuinely kind, she tries her best despite her very young age.

Almost the polar opposite of Charmy in terms of personality. Trixie is sadly amazing at losing things, as good as her brother is at finding them.

Fly Fly Freddy: Once a respected spy, Fly Fly Freddy became a recluse, living in a deep forest in the middle of nowhere after being robotised, rebuilt and finally restored by the Bem. Being betrayed by his boss, wrecked by Knuckles and undergoing the many procedures Freddy did drained his mental fortitude, making him unable to keep up with his old and new colleagues alike. However, all was not lost. Princess Sally found him and convinced Freddy to help a small team of freedom fighters who really needed someone to guide them.

Leading the way, Freddy became the co-leader of Feral Forest FF alongside Megan Acorn's father Joss.

Hope Kintobor: Team Dark considered her the mascot of the team, but one could say she's the heart of the team. She would wage war if anything happened to them, especially Omega. After Snivley royally fucked up, Omega helped Hope channel her hurt and frustrations into designing weapons and tools. When she is not tinkering with things, she loves going to the local malls to run around and get some trinkets. (Also unknowingly scout the places for Rouge so she can steal things from any new jewellers that may show up.)

Her favourite possession is a keychain that looks suspiciously like Sonic and Shadow holding hands with the tagline "Teamwork makes the dreamwork"

Knothole Knuts: After the band broke up during Eggman's purge of Knothole, and the hiring of Sharps the Parakeet, Max the monkey and Mach the rabbit, the old band relocated to Feral Forest. Just in time to be caught in the middle of a huge battle. Tired of running, they joined up with Joss and Fly Fly Freddy and used their music to distract enemies enabling the others to attack. They ended up becoming members of the Feral Forest FF.

Trying to figure out TP Link's diet based on his environment.

Livestock-wise, we've got cuccos and goats. That means

Eggs

Milk

Butter

Cheese

Potentially meat, but I don't think they get eaten unless they're old. Too valuable otherwise | EDIT: Oh yeah you need to breed goats every couple years to get milk. Add in cabrito veal!

And we know for a fact that Ordon Goat Cheese specifically is a thing. Stamped wheel and everything.

There's also fish

And bees/hornets(? It's called bee larva, but the enemy is a Hylian Hornet)

Useful for bait, but Link can eat them.

Did some more research, and apparently in Japan they eat wasp larvae? Specifically in Kushihara. So I'm counting it.

Then plants-wise we have pumpkins

And...corn. Somehow. I've never seen corn growing, but Link has some hanging in his house, so it exists.

I'm choosing to believe it comes from these plants that grow in patches around Ordon.

That gives us a lot. We've got

Cornstarch

Cornmeal

Corn oil

Corn shoots

Pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin seed oil

Pumpkin flour

Pumpkin blossoms

No source of sugar, but depending on how the pumpkins in Ordon taste, they could be naturally sweet. Like pie pumpkins. Also corn syrup is a thing if it's a sweet corn. So corn syrup needs cream of tartar which comes from grapes and apples and such. It's a byproduct of wine. No corn syrup.

Edit: Malt sugar, though!

Now for hypothetical foods.

Ordon is surrounded by pine trees, so that adds pine needle tea and pine nuts to the mix. I was a little worried about species, but apparently there are a lot of pine trees that make edible seeds, so on the list it goes.

Then there are frogs near Rusl and Uli's house, wild songbirds on cliffs, and a squirrel that talks to Link directly, so those are huntable sources of meat.

Is horse grass a cattail? Maybe? Initially, I thought it was—the ends look like cattail seedpuffs, but the leaves are completely different.

I want to treat them like cattails. Cattails that also are probably the main food source for Epona and the goats.

If we do that, that means, on top of all the other uses cattails have like stuffing and tinder and antiseptic, we get

Shoots

Ground seeds

Can't find a good match for hawk grass though. Concluding that that's not edible. Equivalent exchange and all.

Side note, how do you think horse grass spreads? It's almost always in groups of two or more plants, so that suggests rhizomes, but the image of Link picking one up to blow and stuffing flying out the end of the horseshoe is hilarious to me.

Up next, there are ferns, primarily near trees. After very careful and way-too-deep analysis of a pixelated fern's leaves, I think it's bracken fern.

Which is mildly poisonous.

And also edible.

On the list it goes!

Then finally, Sera has some kind of herb hanging in her shop.

I don't know what it is. I'm calling it Ordon Spice. Congratulations, Ordon Pumpkin Spice is now a thing.

That's right, I got sick and revisited this AU to kill time and pain! Meet Chester Fester, an OC created by rachelsshowerthoughts for Cornerverse's Princess Bee AU!

Quick AU Summary: Sometime before a modified season 5 finale that resulted in Lila getting the Butterfly miraculous and inhibiting the current Team Miraculous from using their powers again, Chloe gets kicked out by Andre and sure as hell ain't gonna live with Audrey. She left Paris, went to law school, got therapy, and had a kid named Dawn! The rest of the Miracuclass grew up, remained in Paris, and had a bunch of kids. When personal matters bring Chloe back to Paris, Dawn starts hanging out with all the other Next Gen kids (and she and Emma Dupain-Cheng are gay af for each other). After Adrinette's 3 kids take the miraculous out for a joyride, Lila, who's been doing low-scale cons with the Butterfly Miraculous and battling depression while she attempts to figure herself out, resurfaces and starts causing problems! It's now up to the Next Gen kids to stop her!

Chester Fester is a sweet, if mildly deranged man that Lila met on her travels. He is obsessed with rats who he lauds for reducing food waste, has a very ambiguous moral compass, and is happy to get akumatized for Lila at ANY time. They are absolute besties who have a pretty functional relationship, even if it is fraught with illegal activity.
