31-PRESIDENT FORAS
Enn:Kaymen vefa Foras
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other names:Forus, Forras, alias Forcas
The Thirty-first Spirit is President Foras. He and appears in the form of a strong man in human shape. Call to Foras to solve problems, especially those of a business nature. Foras gives stability and a clear head. He inspires being in good health. It may be suggested that Foras is also a spirit which suggests the crystallization of time, whereas one may learn to appreciate and control their surroundings to the point of stretching the barriers of time. This may involve but is not limited to – total environments, advanced sorcery techniques which crystallize areas of ones surroundings to give a stronger appearance of time slowing. He can give the understanding to men how they may know the virtues of all herbs and precious stones. He teaches the arts of logic and ethics in all their parts. If desired he makes men invisible, and to live long, and to be eloquent. He can discover treasures and recover things lost. He rules over 29 legions of spirits.
According to Runyon, he is a fallen angel of unknown rank.
Call upon President Foras for
⬩Art of logic
⬩Buisness problems
⬩Eloquence
⬩Find lost items
⬩Good health
⬩Herbs and stones
⬩Long life
⬩Stability and a clear head
⬩Time magic
⬩Make you more unnoticeable(invisible)
⬩Ask him what else he will work with you on⬩
⊱•━━━━━━⊰In Ritual⊱━━━━━•⊰
Enn:Kaymen vefa Foras
Sigil:Posted above
Plant:Century Plant
Incense:Storax
⬩Orange candles or objects
⬩Ask President Foras what he likes⬩
⬩It is important to learn protections before trying to work with any spirits. You can get tricksters and parasites if you don't.
Cleansings- cleaning your space of negative energies. You can burn herbs or incense for this.
Banishings- forcing negative energies out of your space. The lesser banishing ritual is one of the most commonly used.
Warding- wards keep negative energy out of your space. Amulets, sigils and talismans do this.
Set up a your space and do a cleanse and banishing. Have wards up in your home. Meditation is to calm yourself and get your mind ready. The sigil (symbol) is what you draw on paper. The enn is what you chant or say to call forth the spirit.⬩

its just really funny to me that when bolsonaro visited israel during his president, he did indeed was antisemitic publicly and recently when he wanted to go there, even fucking israel was like "don't, we don't want you here" (adding in top of the fact he had a friend who's openly a nazist visiting him)
but lula saying he supports palestine made people 10x angrier than all this to the point of israel banning him, pulling back the israeli embassador of brazil and demanding the president to apologize (which he denied!) and posted a video of a supposed brazilian woman talking about how she was attacked by hamas during a rave. which is. convenient timing.

still on hiatus but i wanna say tomorrow is the day of brazil’s most important election in recent history! LULA is the only one that can save brazil from bolsonaro
bolsonaro not only destroys the amazon forest and indigenous people, and goes against democracy, even supporting torture, but he goes against every group of minority in this country
bolsonaro has said that racism has to be ignored, and that “black people are the racist ones”
he said he would rather have a dead son than a gay one
he said theres no hunger in brazil when in fact 5 million children go to bed on an empty stomach every night.
LULA was the best president of this country and he is the only one who could bring us peace and stability
this election is dangerous we need all the support we can get, lula supporters are being killed by bolsonaro followers in the streets, we are literally scared of voicing our opinions here. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT, LULA 13 FOR PRESIDENT!

Babes, I’ve seen what’s happening in Brazil. Stay safe! Also I’ve seen some news that META purposefully blocks all posts about Brazil…
Thank you for worrying, things in here are really tough. Yesterday I went to a protest in the Paulista Avenue in São Paulo and it helped me a lot to stay hopeful.
For those of you who don't know, Bolsonaro supporters invaded and destroyed the Alvorada Palace, the oficial residence of the president. They called it a protest, when in reality it was terrorism and an attack on democracy. Those are the same people that did the n4zi salute and refused to accept the result of the elections.
I've seen people compare what is happening in Brazil to what happened in the USA when Trump lost to Joe Biden and I understand that the comparison makes it easier to understand, but it's important to know that this situation was already predicted by anyone who studied brazilian history. It was only a matter of time and if we keep ignoring the real reason behind this, it won't stop. So, i'll try to explain a little more about it in a simple way.
Brazil went through a military dictatorship that began in 1964 and ended in 1985. During this time, innocent people were killed by the military. The opposition was silenced, censured, women were raped, people were tortured. Those who were against it and survived were lucky, but many lost friends. Til this day, many people were never found. Our current president, elected by the people in a honest election, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula), was one of the people who fought against the military. He was chased and tortured but he survived and because of people like him, we are now living in a democracy.
The fact that we don't talk about the military dictatorship is why some people don't even recognize it as a dictatorship. Many people still defend it. Bolsonaro defended it. He was a huge supporter of the military and already gave many interviews saying that the military's only mistake was "not killing enough". After the end of the dictatorship no museums were made in memory of the victims. Supporters and even some tortures like Colonel Ustra were never arrested.
Lula was president from 2003 to 2011. After he left the presidency, Dilma Rousseff was elected the first female president of Brazil. She was one of his great friends and also part of the same political party as him, the Worker's Party (in portuguese: Partido dos Trabalhadores, PT).
Dilma also fought against the military with Lula. She was also tortured and luckily survived (and without ratting out any of her teammates!!). She was president from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, she suffered a political coup. They called it an impeachment but 94,7% of the  congressmen who voted her out were being investigated for corruption because of her. There was no reason for an impeachment, there were no proves that she was corrupt. Her mistake was to try to fight them all at once.
On the day of the coup, we saw what Bolsonaro was capable of for the first time. At that time he was a congressmen and he voted her out. During his speech, he said "In memory of Colonel Carlos Alberto Brilhante Ustra, the fear of Dilma Rousseff, for the Army of Caxias, for the Armed Forces, for Brazil above all and God above everyone, my vote is yes".
Carlos Alberto Brilhante Ustra, the torturer.
“In this case of the Teles family, which is a terrible case because the parents of Edson Teles and Janaina Teles, at the time Edson was 4 years old and Janaina 9, they were brutally tortured and the children were taken to the premises of the Doi-Codi and saw people tortured and their parents hurt. At first they did not recognize them. They stayed there for a while without the presence of any relatives and no known person being used as a bargaining chip so that the parents, Amelinha Teles and César Teles, could say what they [torturers] wanted to hear”, said the professor, José Carlos Moreira da Silva.
This was the man that Jair Bolsonaro, who would later become president of Brazil, paid tribute to. The saying “for Brazil above all and God above everyone” was also a reference to the Nazi propaganda, in Hitler's Germany, "Deutschland über alles" which, in English, means "Germany above all".
Bolsonaro was not arrested after that. Nothing ever happened to him. That was when it all began.
Dilma was betrayed by her own vice-president, Michel Temer. She was publicly humiliated by senators, congressmen and the media.
Elections finally arrived and people who saw what was really happening had a glimmer of hope. But then the worst happened.
On April 7, 2018, Sergio Moro, friend of Bolsonaro and then federal judge, illegally arrested Lula for the crimes of passive corruption and money laundering in the criminal action involving a triplex in Guarujá with absolutely no proves. They had nothing on Lula but, if he was arrested, he couldn’t run in the elections and the Worker’s Party would not return to power. Lula da Silva peacefully turned himself in to the Federal Police after making a public speech.
“There’s no use in trying to stop me from traveling around this country, because there are milions of Lulas, Boulos, Manuelas and Dilma Rousseffs to do it for me. There’s no use in trying to stop my ideas. They’re already in the air, and you can’t imprison them! There’s no point in trying to stop my dreams, because when I stop dreaming, I’ll be dreaming throgh your minds and dreams! There’s no point in thinking everything’s going to stop the day Lula has a heart attack. That’s nonsense! Because my heart will be beating through yours and there are milions of hearts! The powerful can kill one, two, or a haundred roses. But they’ll never stop the arrival of spring and our fight is in search of spring!”, said Lula, before turning himself in.
In 2018, The Worker’s Party decided to put Fernando Haddad on Lula’s place. They tried their best, but Haddad didn’t have the same power that Lula had. Bolsonaro won and, in 2019, he took over.
Lula was released on November 8, 2019, one day after the Federal Supreme Court considered the arrest in second instance unconstitutional. The UN Human Rights Committee (United Nations) concluded that Sergio Moro was partial in the trial of Lava Jato cases against him. It was also considered that his political rights were injured when he was prevented from running in the 2018 elections.
Now, we have the opportunity to change that. How? By talking about the military dictatorship, giving visibility to all victims, recognizing our history, punishing those who threaten our democracy without forgiveness. And to finish, i want to remind you of something we all heared in school at least once: “Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it.”
Sem anistia e sem perdão.

For the koreans in the qsmp fandom, here is a random fun fact about Brasil:
Tumblr media
In 2020 our president was the facist racist man known as Bolsonaro. In that same year a girl was interviewed by a newspaper (which is owned by the biggest media conglomerate of the country). The interview was about the amount of growth in the demand for korean teachers because of kpop and kdramas. So the girl, like a HERO, used that moment in national news to write "fora Bolsonaro" or "Leave, Bolsonaro" in korean lol
Oh! And this media conglomerate in question was the one that ELECTED Bolsonaro to begin with so she was very grandona (badass) for this lmao

Angels: you WENCH, SLEEP WITH THE DEVILS TO FREE THEY?!? HAVE YOU NO SHAME!!!
MC: no but i have great taste, good Solomon genes for stamina and only bring the best to my bed! while smiling
How the devils hold react to they saying that? (for real 80 devils! MC has that Solomon genes were it counts!)
(If this is answered late it's probably because I'm just putting a lot of devils on here. Because I want to. SORRY FOR THE LATE POST.) TW: mentions of violence. Let's assume they're on a battlefield. The demons do feel pride. Especially when you put them on a high pedestal. Some of them will show it and some others won't some might even scold you for irritating the angels even more. Gehenna: Satan: "HEAR THAT FUCKERS? THOSE WILL BE THE LAST WORDS YOU'LL HEAR FROM THEM! >:)", he says. He felt prideful at your words and wasn't afraid to show it. He will boast about it as he continues fighting against the angels. His reaction was cute in a way until you saw how violent he continued to be on the battlefield. Sitri: He was sipping his tea when he heard. Only gave a little huff and smirk as he continued fighting. "Thank you for the kind words, but at the moment we need to be smart.", he says as he listened to heartbeats fade. Leraye: "YOU HEARD THEM!", he says as he continues shooting at the angels. "Like my shooting, their words never miss." Paimon: "Cuuute! The human is fighting back!", he says as he continues to make a scene during battle. Zagan: "Thank you, child. Your kind words remind me of him.", he says before running towards another spot to shoot at the enemy. Belial: He gave you a smile and continues to be at your side as he'd rather defend you when you're near him. Jjyu on the other hand leaked his thoughts. Astaroth: "So, you can fight back?", he says as he gave you a smirk. Never looking away from the enemy as he does. He felt proud at you talking back.
Tartaros: Mammon: "You have the gift of seeing true value.", he says as he stood next to you. "You angels could never touch this treasure of mine." He pulled you close as a way to show that you were his. Bimet: "I see that you have taste. Good.", he says as he continued defending at your side. He always feels pride when getting praise, but he wouldn't show it as easy as his king. Eligos: His eyes went big as he felt ecstatic at the praise. He didn't say anything, but seeing how he suddenly looked more motivated to fight said enough already.
Hades: Leviathan: "My, my..." He said as he felt his confidence boost up, but that feeling changed into embarrassment. He envies the prideful version of himself. He wants to turn back to 10 seconds ago. His fighting didn't change though. Barbatos: He smirked as he continued attacking the enemy. Since he's a midrange attacker he wouldn't be able to talk to you, but he does appreciate the words. Foras: He either didn't hear you or he's too focussed on the battle. That's what you thought, but later after scaring away the angels he'd run up to you and kisses your hands. "Thank you for the words." Glasyalabolas: "You heard them. Time to make way for a new kingdom. One where they'll be at my side.", he says as he, the president of butchers, continues to annihilate the enemies.
Avisos: Beelzebub: He gave a smirk as he stood by you. He wasn't fighting intensively at the start, but you saying that made him motivated to help. Bael: He honestly was too busy to notice what you said. When he starts wtith something he focusses until it's finished. So when starting this battle, he has done nothing else than just giving orders and fooling angels. Stolas: "Nice words, but not the right place.", he honestly wasn't embarrassed even when he was blushing at the moment. But he just felt that he doesn't have enough ammo to fend off irritated angels. Amon: The sleepy boy suddenly woke up to your words. He was absent-minded when fighting and snapped out of it with a smirk on his face. You'll be dinner later then. He said as he couldn't help but flirt at the moment. Naberius: "This is really not the right time for this.", he sighed as he felt like you helped heat up the battle. He just hopes that Avisos came prepared enough to fend of all the angels.
Abaddon: Phenix: Phenix was at the front line on the battlefield. So, it DID surprise you that he heard your response. He honestly didn't mind you saying these things and in fact loved that you irritated the angels. It just meant that they'll less likely avoid him. Meaning he could continue slaughtering. Dantalian: Another one that just doesn't care and is at the front lines too. He wants to feel fear. So you agitating the angels maybe helped him. He uses the opportunity to feel fear. Ronove: He didn't need to be on the front lines to fight. His influence on demons was already enough input for him. The lunacy he puts on the demons was already enough. This gave him time to spend with you. He sat at your side in case any angel came too close. He smirked at you. "I may cause Devils to charge at angels, but you have the opposite effect in this case."
Niflheim: Gusion: "You shouldn't agitate the enemy. We're already in small numbers.", he said with a sigh of annoyance. Yes, he was glad you felt this way, but you saying this didn't help him. Bathin: Silence, just silence. You were used to it though. He wasn't the talkative type. Andrealphus: "Continue doing that and stay close to me.", he says. He's blind. So he needs to attract angels in a way to fight them. You saying that and agitating the enemy is just what he needs. He can help you as long as you stick to him.
Paradise Lost: Morax: "Seems like you're seeking for trouble.", he says. You can't see it, but he's smiling at your guts. He can rest knowing that you aren't afraid of the enemy. Marbas: "You shouldn't agitate them... We have our hands full already.", being a healer is tough in war. The work and trying to keep others alive was at times too much for him. Buer: "Smart move.", he says. You don't know if he meant this sarcastically or not. He probably wanted more reasons for Marbas to stay busy as he does his own thing. "Next time you should tell them the details."

17.12. Glasyalabolas - Mistletoe
Tumblr media
    ༺☆༻
⟡ Masterlist ⟡
₊˚⊹.* The Yule festival of Hell *.⊹˚₊
    ༺☆༻
“Y/N, could you come here?” a familiar velvety voice called out to you while you were busy making bows to decorate gifts for Leviathan's servants with Foras. Looking over in the direction from where the voice came from, you see Glasyalabolas standing in on one of the many door frames leading into the spacious room. He's leaning against it like he's some punk in a teenage drama.
“What? I'm kinda busy here. If you need something, come to me.” you call back and focus back on helping hold down ribbons so Foras can tie them around the gift boxes. In your mind you're counting how much you've done and how many are left to go. The higher demons get more fancy bows and the lesser they are, the less work goes into the packaging. The boxes are all pretty, but you can still tell the difference between a box meant for a duke and one for president.
“No, you have to come to me, Y/N.” Glasyalabolas addresses you again. This time you don't even look at him. There's too much work and not enough time. The gift boxes were supposed to be ready two days ago, but of course angels have other plans.
“It's okay, you can go. I can tie the bows for knights myself. They don't need to be so fancy.” Foras tells you while he's finishing up the last bow meant for a count. You can hear Glasyalabolas hum in approval from the other side of the room.
With a sigh you set down the scissors you've been holding in your hand and take a pincushion off your wrist. Who knows what does the tall demon want and if you'll be even able to return to your work.
“Yes? What is it?” you ask irritated. Originally you only offered to help out with the gifts, but with the weather getting more sunny, you've unofficially taken on Barbatos' position and the stress of it was catching up to you.
“Look up, Y/N.” Glasyalabolas only nods his head upward. You follow his gaze and notice a green branch hanging above the two of you. It takes you a little while to realise what the branch is.
“Oh.” you exclaim and feel your cheeks flush. Does he really mean what you think he is?
When you look back down from the green twig, you jump a little. The tall demon's face is now closer to yours due to him leaning slightly down to match your height. He's watching your face intently for any reason of displeasure or hesitance, but there is none to be found.
The air feels more tense and you decide to close the distance, which is apparently even closer than you thought, between your lips. He tastes of red wine and something sweet. You suddenly don't want him to pull back. There's something addictive about his kiss. Throwing your arms around his neck you deepen the kiss and sneakily his wrap around your waist, lifting you up a little.
Unfortunately he pulls away after a while and looks into your eyes. You're still holding each other when a voice from another door frame sound off: “Aw, that's so adorable! I demand to get a kiss under the mistletoe from Y/N too!” It's Barbatos, who just came inside to help finish the gift boxes. His hair is frozen and his skin is glowing red.
You let go of Glaysalabolas and he reluctantly does the same. You're about to turn around and join the two demons standing around the big table, but the demon next to you catches your arm.
“Happy holidays, my queen.”
    ༺☆༻
But wait, this demon also has a gift for you!
"I've chosen you to be my queen, by my side on the throne. I shall present you with gift fit for a queen."

Let’s get one thing clear: the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, was never the border czar, despite her political opponents’ attempts to label her as such. If Harris has ever had a Biden administration czarship—not with an official title but with broad authority to coordinate and direct multiple agencies, organizations, and departments on a multi-faceted policy priority—it was in artificial intelligence (AI). Strangely, this doesn’t seem to have come up a lot in the 2024 presidential contest, despite the presence of AI everywhere else these days. In fact, this role doesn’t even merit a passing mention on the “Meet Vice President Kamala Harris” page of her website even as she prepares to formally become the party’s presidential candidate at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
AI might lack the political resonance of the border today, but it is time we reconsider its significance to the average voter. As Harris graduates from a vibes campaign to one with more substance, the vice president should put a spotlight on the AI in her record. When AI is recast as a sweeping change that could affect jobs, income equality, national security, and the rights of ordinary citizens, it is rather quickly transformed from esoterica to an everyday concern. The Trump-Vance campaign has received support from the likes of Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, and Marc Andreessen—all major Silicon Valley and AI influencers and investors—but it is Harris, not former President Donald Trump, who has actual fingerprints on AI policy. So, what has been Harris’s track record in this area? And where is the vice president likely to take AI policy if she wins the White House?
Harris’s role as AI czar may be the political season’s best-kept secret. But if one were to trace AI policy development in the world’s leading AI-producing nation, all signs point to Harris. Remarkably, AI policy development has been led by the White House rather than the U.S. Congress. In fact, Congress has done precious little, despite the growing need for AI guardrails, while the White House, with Harris as the seniormost public official involved, has helped frame and follow up on its October 2023 executive order on AI.
That order was designed to ensure the “safe, secure, and trustworthy development and use of AI.” In addition, Harris has made a broader commitment to “establishing a set of rules and norms for AI, with allies and partners, that reflect democratic values and interests, including transparency, privacy, accountability, and consumer protections.” Significantly for a technology disproportionately reliant on a handful of industry players, Harris suggested and has led the important first step of bringing these players together to commit to a set of AI practices and standards that advances three critical objectives: safety, security, and trust.
Given the disproportionate influence of the United States on AI used around the world, it is critical for the country to have its public position clarified in international fora. Harris has represented the United States in key international convenings and led the country’s global advocacy efforts on ensuring safe AI, such as at the AI Safety Summit in Bletchley Park, England. At the other end of the stakeholder spectrum, Harris has also met with the communities most directly affected by the wider adoption of the technology, including consumer protection groups and labor and civil rights leaders, to discuss protections against AI risks.
Harris’ contact with AI has another dimension, too. As the ultimate political unicorn—a woman of color, an underrated and parodied vice president in the Biden administration, and an overnight sensation as presumptive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party after U.S. President Joe Biden stepped aside from the 2024 race—Harris’s narrative has been defined largely by others, whether it is through AI-assisted disinformation campaigns or viral memes. She has been personally targeted by deepfake videos of her supposedly making garbled statements, such as, “Today is today, and yesterday was today yesterday.” An AI-aided voice synthesis that led to a demeaning parody of her presidential campaign advertisement was reposted by Musk himself on X. Trump has also falsely claimed that the large crowds at Harris’s campaign rallies were AI generated. In other words, Harris can legitimately claim to have had AI weaponized against her personally.
Finally, Harris hails from the global capital of AI. As former attorney general and senator of California, she has been financially supported by many in the tech industry; more than 200 Silicon Valley investors have backed her run for the White House. One of her closest confidantes is her brother-in-law, Tony West, Uber’s chief legal officer (now on leave to work for the Harris campaign). It is legitimate to ask if she would be willing to confront the industry on difficult issues; at the same time, her closeness with industry leaders could help with greater government-industry collaboration.
What can we learn from Harris’s record as to what she would do in the presidency on this issue? As AI czar, Harris showed some clear patterns. For one, her primary focus has been promoting safety and addressing the risks of unregulated AI use, which can lead to bias or abuse. Second, the White House under her stewardship has accomplished a wide range of safety-, security-, and trust-enhancing actions since the issuance of the executive order—from AI testbeds and model evaluation tools developed at the Department of Energy to the Office of Management and Budget-issued government-wide policy on AI, the latter with safeguards to assess and monitor AI’s societal impact. There have been pilots at the departments of Defense and Homeland Security using AI to protect vital government software and a call to action from the Gender Policy Council and Office of Science and Technology Policy to combat AI-generated image-based sexual abuse. Harris has also been the seniormost official behind the release of a Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights, outlining principles for the ethical design and use of AI.
Another of Harris’s initiatives has been aimed at promoting authenticity as concerns about AI-generated content skyrocket. This includes proposing international standards for tracing authenticity of government-produced digital content and identifying AI-generated or manipulated content, through digital signatures, watermarking, and labeling.
While Harris is not, any means, an expert on AI, and much work remains to get a full-throated AI policy in place, the numbers tell a tale of steady early accomplishment. A list of 100 action items following the executive order has been completed by various federal agencies on issues ranging from developing new technical guidelines for AI safety to evaluating misuse of dual-use foundation models and developing frameworks for managing generative AI risks. Harris has obtained voluntary commitments from 15 companies to ensure safe, secure, and transparent development of AI technology. 31 nations have joined the United States in endorsing a declaration establishing norms for responsible development, deployment, and use of military AI capabilities. And the U.S. government has won commitments of up to $200 million from 10 leading foundations to fund work around five pillars that cover issues from democracy and rights to improving transparency and accountability of AI.
Harris’s campaign rests on the idea of looking to the future and “not going back.” The Democratic National Convention in Chicago presents an opportunity for Harris to communicate more to the public about a key part of that future: AI’s economic and societal implications and her role in influencing them. Time is running out on conveying this issue’s importance, especially to the working class. While the impact of AI on different occupations is a matter of debate, some argue that, in the near-term, higher-income workers are more likely to benefit from productivity improvements due to AI and the share of income going to capital is likely to increase at the expense of the share that goes to labor. Both trends would contribute to an increase in income inequality.
As for the impact on jobs, there are different schools of thought. Some believe AI could help make many services, such as medical care, or currently elite job responsibilities, such as research, writing. graphics design and software coding more accessible to the middle class. Others see a plausible scenario of a hollowing out of specialized job functions. Policy and election promises need to show how a Harris administration would help steer toward the former outcome.
On the global stage, there are numerous existential risks associated with AI. Autonomous lethal weapons are a critical concern as multilateral agreements to ban such weapons have failed. Tensions with major AI-producing nations such as China are escalating, with no roadmap for getting to common ground as both the United States and China have declared their aspirations to become the world’s AI leader. A recent seven-hour meeting between top officials of the two countries in Geneva advertised as a dialogue on managing AI risks reportedly ended with no concrete agreements or follow-up meetings scheduled.
In parallel, the atmosphere has only become more tense with U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports and restrictions on the export of high-end chips to China. The Commerce Department is considering further restrictions on exporting proprietary AI models to China. Meanwhile, Beijing and Moscow are discussing a strategic partnership on various issues, including technology, while the Chinese embassy in Washington has accused the United States of “economic coercion and unilateral bullying.” If mishandled, these tensions can escalate.
Harris’s campaign can distinguish her candidacy with an acknowledgement of her track record and momentum on AI policy development. It must make the case for at least three sets of issues her administration would address. First: understanding AI’s impact on jobs and the resulting impact on economic inequality, and setting forth a plan to mitigate risks and protecting the most vulnerable. Second: developing a strategy for harnessing AI that addresses key kitchen-table concerns, such as accessible healthcare and education and skill-building. And third: crafting a vision for U.S. leadership in AI that advances responsible innovation, reduces geopolitical tensions, and preserves American national security interests.
Going from czar to president is unusual and comes with unusual challenges. Czars are usually not formally appointed as such—Harris was never officially designated AI czar despite the clear czar-like nature of her involvement—but can work to bring multiple parties together, often doing so outside public view. Then-Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, for example, played a key role as de facto climate czarin increasing cooperation on that issue with China without much fanfare.
In other instances, and when they are brought in during an acute crisis, czars come with enormous expectations: The city of Boston awaits a rat czar, and residents want to see quick results. Czars do not have executive powers but have the respect of many, which is the calling card that allows them to convene parties with differing agendas. Presidents enjoy none of these luxuries. They own the problems they take on and they do so in public view.
There’s no escaping the reality that we are—and this election is being held—firmly in the age of AI. It is important that Harris’s team conveys the significance of AI to people’s lives and lets voters know how Harris would build on her unique track record. American voters have a choice to make for the nation’s next president this November, and on this one critical issue at least one of the candidates has a running start.

Demonstrations on the streets throughout Brazil again against the 'Rape Bill'
The bill, currently in the Chamber of Deputies, saw a wave of negative repercussions
Tumblr media
On Sunday (23), women from several places across Brazil took to the streets again to oppose the "Rape Bill," also known as the "Child Pregnancy Bill". It proposes to equate legal abortion at over 22 weeks of gestation, including in cases of rape, to homicide.
In the state of Minas Gerais, protests took place in Belo Horizonte, São João Del Rei, Barbacena, Juiz de Fora, Viçosa, Ouro Preto and Uberlândia. In São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city, women took over Paulista Avenue, in downtown São Paulo. In Rio de Janeiro, demonstrations took place in Copacabana.
The bill that equates legal abortion in cases of rape with murder moved forward in the Chamber of Deputies on June 12. On that day, the president of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (Progressive Party), put on the agenda the vote on the urgent request, presented by deputy Eli Borges (Liberal Party), without warning or announcing the number of the bill.

WHB Lesser key: Hades
Did you wonder how much inspo they drew from the descriptions of the different demons of the Ars Goetia to create their characters and what that could point towards in terms of personality and powers? I did. You can find each character with it's respective descriptions here, divided by their respective factions.
The main link is this helpful little list of the 72 with summarized descriptions, so it's not an exhaustive list, just an organized one.
Gehenna | Tartaros | Hades | Avisos | Abaddon | Paradise Lost | Niflheim
Barbatos
Tumblr media
Barbatos is an Earl and Duke of Hell, ruling thirty legions of demons and has four kings as his companions to command his legions. He gives the understanding of the voices of the animals, says past and future, conciliates friends and rulers, and he can lead men to hidden treasures that have been hidden by the enchantment of magicians. His name seems to derive from Latin "barbatus", bearded, old man, philosopher. And once belonged to the angelic order of Virtues
Foras
Tumblr media
Foras (alternatively Forcas or Forrasis) is a powerful President of Hell, being obeyed by twenty-nine legions of demons. He teaches logic and ethics in all their branches, the virtues of all herbs and precious stones, can make a man witty, eloquent, invisible, and live long, and can discover treasures and recover lost things. He is depicted as a strong man. His name seems to derive from Latin foras (out, outside).
Glasyalabolas
Tumblr media
(Count/President) Glasya-Labolas (also Caacrinolaas, Caassimolar, Classyalabolas, Glassia-labolis, Glasya Labolas, Gaylos-Lobos) is a mighty President of Hell who commands thirty-six legions of demons. He is the author and captain of manslaughter and bloodshed, tells all things past and to come, gains the minds and love of friends and foes causing love among them if desired, incites homicides and can make a man invisible. He is depicted as a dog with the wings of a griffin.
Orias
Tumblr media
Orias (also spelled Oriax) is a Great Marquis of Hell, and has thirty legions of demons under his command. He knows and teaches the virtues of the stars and the mansions of the planets (the influence of each planet depending on the astrological sign in which it is in a specific moment and the influence of that sign on an individual depending on how the zodiac was configured at the moment of their birth or at the moment of asking a question to the astrologist); he also gives dignities, prelacies, and the favour of friends and foes, and can metamorphose a man into any shape.
