🎒✏️🍎 weekend activity for littles! turn your house into a school! 🍎✏️🎒
prepare your schedule the night before! what classes will you do at what time? what order will you do them in? write it down! set alarms on your phone for when each class will be, so you know when to switch!
don’t forget to prepare worksheets, activities, and make sure you know what rooms you’re using! if you have a cg, this job is best suited for them!
class ideas: math, spelling, writing, social studies/history, science, art, music, etc!
“downtime” class ideas: naptime, free time, movie time, free draw, computer lab, play time
wake up bright and early! get dressed, brush your teeth, brush your hair, and get your school supplies! go into the room that you’ve designated as your classroom!
if you have a cg, have them be your teacher for the day! if you don’t have one, that’s okay! you can do all of this by yourself pretty easily.
if the room has a closet, use that as your cubby! hang up your bag and any other belongings in it!
get ready for your school day! sit down on the floor like you would in a preschool or kindergarten classroom, and get ready to learn!
ideas on what to do for each class under the cut (to avoid this post being way too long!)
math
print out some math worksheets (or download and do them digitally, bonus points if it’s on a tablet with a stylus for extra realism!) and work on them! do whatever level of math is most accessible to you!
count stuff! count your toys, blocks, stuffies, anything! make problems and equations by taking away items, adding items, dividing items, etc and solve them!
play math games! multiplication .com has a lot of accessible math games, or you can use the flashpoint program to play math games from your favorite tv shows!
ELA
print/download handwriting practice sheets and practice writing your letters!
if you have a cg with you, have them read a book out loud to you! make sure to pay attention, and be prepared to write about what was just read to you!
read your favorite book, and create a book report based on it with pictures and decorations!
do spelling worksheets and exercises!
social studies
practice geography by identifying states or countries on an unlabeled map! start with your own country, then move on to other countries to make it more challenging!
learn about history by watching educational history cartoons!
do a cultural interview! find someone in your life whether it be a friend, a partner, or a family member and interview them about their heritage and culture! if you can’t find someone, write about your own culture!
science
use a store bought science kit and play around with it! write down everything you’ve learned.
make slime or oobleck! there’s countless recipes online that teach you how to make them! they’re both super easy to make.
draw a diagram of our solar system! label the planets properly and write one fact about each one!
art
draw your family! could be your biological or found family!
finger paint!
watercolor paint!
make pottery out of clay or play doh!
make a collage of your favorite things! print out pictures of stuff you like and glue it to a piece of paper!
music
sing along to your favorite songs! pull up sing-along versions of songs from disney movies or karaoke versions of your favorite songs!
if you have any kind of instrument, play it! try to play simple songs on it like mary had a little lamb or hot cross buns!
if you’re regressed a bit older, study sheet music! teach yourself what all the symbols mean!
nap time
take a 30 minute break to nap, or just lay down and rest! put on a soft lullaby or a quiet song you really like.
to make it more “school-like”, nap on the floor! preferably on a fluffy rug or mat, so it isn’t uncomfortable or bad for your back! lay out your favorite blanket, pillow, stuffie, and hit the hay!
play time / free time
just play!!! have fun and play with your toys, your stuffies, play dress up, etc!
if it’s nice outside, go play outside!
draw a picture!
read your favorite book!
if you’re an over-achiever, do some more worksheets!
computer lab
go on your computer or laptop if you have one, and play some educational games, watch educational videos, etc!
when you’ve done an adequate amount of learning, you earn free time! use this to play any fun game you want! (minecraft, roblox, animal jam, fun flash games, etc!)
field trips
(may require a cg if you can’t take yourself places when small!)
take a trip to a museum!
go to the library! find a cool book you find interesting and read it!
take a walk around town! write down all the interesting things you find in nature like animals, bugs, plants, etc!
end of the day
when your “school day” ends, have your cg grade how you did! if you don’t have a cg, grade yourself! but be honest, of course. if you get a good grade, you’ll get a reward!
i know this is elaborate and may seem silly, but i’ve heard a lot of littles say an elementary school environment would be really beneficial to them! i hope this helps some of you who are yearning for that!

If The Hazbin Hotel Characters Worked At A School
Charlie- You might think Charlie would be the principal but NO! Charlie is the therapist! She tries to get everyone into her office for a session by the end of the year- including the teachers! Vaggie- Vaggie would teach mainstream math. Her favorite thing about teaching math is giving people extra homework when they disrupt her class. (A lot of people leave with extra homework. One time Angel Dust walked in on her in the middle of a test, and she made him do a homework sheet).
Angel Dust- He is a substitute. He's actually qualified to teach computer science, but he doesn't. It's his best kept secret why he doesn't.
Husk- He teaches Italian. He's not properly fluent in Italian and only got the job because Lucifer lost a gamble to him and Husk said he'd let him keep his money if he did "one tiny favor". Angel Dust likes to lurk outside Husk's classroom when he gets the chance, and the second Husk mispronounces a word, Angel will stick his head in, correct him and then dart back out. Husk pretends to hate it but he actually finds it really hot. (Angel Dust was also actually the one who TAUGHT Husk Italian).
Lucifer- Lucifer is the principal. He doesn't really care what most of his employees do, including stalking the Italian teacher, cruel and unusual punishment during guitar lessons, or fucking in the janitor's closet. As long as "most of his employees" doesn't include Alastor.
Alastor- Alastor actually teaches health, or sex ed, or whatever you call it. He went to college and got a degree and didn't do it "The Husk Way" all so he could do two things: 1. Properly represent queer people, especially trans people, during the class because he knows, as a trans person, that it's really hard not to feel undermined during the class. 2. Make jokes about being an asexual person teaching sex ed (I'm not asexual/aromantic but it just seems like the kind of thing Alastor would do- especially considering how he reacts to Angel badly propositioning him). If you make a queerphobic comment in Alastor's class, you're dead. Possibly literally. Alastor never actually adheres to the curriculum, and Lucifer keeps trying to break into his class and catch him but somehow Al is always two steps ahead. When Lucifer is not at school, Alastor takes his whole class down to the kitchens and has them make jambalaya for the whole period. If you can't eat jambalaya, Alastor has a whole closet full of alternative ingredients for you but EVERYONE IS EATING SOME FORM OF JAMBALAYA OR EVERYONE HAS TO FIX ALASTOR'S VINTAGE RADIOS DURING DETENTION FOR A MONTH.
Lute- She teaches biology and is that one teacher who everyone either loves or hates. She runs the GSA and has weekly meetings and she's also the teacher who becomes your replacement mom if your real mom sucks. (This also applies to the teachers, she's also basically Angel Dust's mother by now). If you make a queerphobic comment in her class, she will stalk for exactly two weeks after you say it, slowly recording every single discriminatory thing you say. Then she will make you stay after school hours and reads off her entire list. Then she assigns you detention for two weeks and makes you write a 5-page essay on whatever chapter of Queer Ducks her heart desires in size 8 Arial font during the few precious hours of the day you don't have detention.
Adam- He teaches the jazz band, and if you play guitar, you get double lessons. Twice a month, Adam conducts tests randomly. You have to get up and play a song of his choice- no sheet music allowed. If you mess up even once, Adam gets to smack your guitar with a rock and you get to pay for the damages. (Lucifer knows, doesn't care, and makes rubber duck voodoo dolls all day long.)
Cherri- She teaches gym and if a student isn't running fast enough, she throws basketballs at them. Not hard to HIT them, but just enough to give them some motivation.
Sir Pentious- He doesn't work at this school. He works at a preschool in a different town. But since it's only a half-day, as soon as he gets the chance, he leaves and goes to stare longingly at Cherri while she somehow manages not to get fired. Everyone is just used to him being there, and he's fine with that.

I'm sorry for my disappearance. I didn't mean to be gone for so long. I sent an ask after you replied to my first one, but I guess the ask box ate it. 😅
In my head, I also imagined them as a one and done couple, but I love this so much more.
I was right!!!!! Lil Laurens was already there and they had no idea ❤️. Too precious 🥹. Now I imagine all of their friends doing the math after they announce the pregnancy soon after they got married and going 🧐🤔❓️⁉️
They got married in Friesland?!?!? Stop it!!! I love that so much. I imagine an impromptu "Just Married" photo shoot in various fields and landmarks in the area. Maybe taking place at some of Joost's old stomping grounds from when he was young.
Also I looked it up because I was curious and courthouse weddings are a thing in The Netherlands!!!
I love the names you picked out for the kids!!! Juna has to be my favorite.🩷 They sound like little angels I'm sure. 😇😇/j 😈😈 heheh I love the thought of Joost and Reader being like "We need to be an united front against the kids! It's 2 on 2. We can maintain order." then at the same time being like "What if we have one more?? On purpose this time." (I assume lol)
Yessss. Girl dad Joost also makes so much sense to be.
Juna sounds like all she has to do is bat her white eyelashes at her papa and she'll get away with anything. I cannot wait for the father daughter(s) dynamic between Joost and Juna and later, Sanne. Also mother son between Reader and Laurens.
What is the dynamic between Laurens and Juna with Sanne? How did they handle having a new baby sister?
"trust when you guys see the rest of normal au it will literally be such a surprise with even more future information" - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!?!?!? Tell me what you know!!! I need to know!!! 😫
I'm so excited to see what you have planned especially after seeing the state of their relationship in the snippet you posted. I love all the glimpses throughout time.
Your response to my latest ask made me so happy after an awful couple of days due to you know what happening. 😮💨 Thank you for that. - family anon (I feel so special. I have my own tag now :3 )
family anon ... i am so very sorry i didn't respond to this sooner </33
the ask box ate the first one but this one is definitely on me!!!! i mustve read this in the middle of my school haze and responded to it in my head </333 completely my bad!! it has been quite a while my friend </3 i hope o see more asks from you because i love your mind so so much !!!!
and i also love talking about family era normal au (also any era normal au tbh but especially family au because i don't see myself writing any formally written fic for this part of their lives :')))) unless....??)
rpf ahead do not read if anti-rpf, dni if anti-rpf
they were soooo so surprised but also not surprised considering ... for your troubles i will literally just outline how it is in my head... i feel like after everything that has...happened in 2024 with their lives (if you know what i mean) reader decides to take months off of work to travel with joosti for europapa tour :''')
because im crazy and self inserty they conceive in LA the night of the first LA show (because thats my show yerrr) and then find out in july-augustish!! LA is also really important to their story for....several reasons that i cannot spoil but they had a very relationship defining turning moment in LA :)) laurens is a capricorn teehee
DEFINITELY!!!! lots of pictures around landmarks and where he grew up in britsum :''') i imagine it is very healing for both of them!! after hearing about the story of joosti when he was in preschool i thought soooo much of family era normal au hahah
im glad courthouse weddings are a thing because i don't think they'd have it any other way for the first tiem hehe
juna is also my favorite because it's one of my favorite songs hehe !!! they are definitely little rascals but normal au reader keeps them in line for sure hahah they doooooooo have sanne on purpose !! definiteky on purpose if u know what i mean,,,, they are crazy. it takes a bit longer to have her so she's a very wanted and welcome gift alongside the older siblings :))
laurens and juna are literally born in the same year so maybe the break was a little welcome ! LOL (as in ... january 2026 laurens and december 2026 juna [please suspend disbelief about how long it takes to recover from pregnancy cuz realistically they really would be a one and done couple])
MAJOR GIRL DAD!!!! tea parties and getting his makeup and nails done and playing house -- laurens and juna are super partners in crime here but sanne becomes integral to playtime when she's born
all 3 are definitely sort of spoiled because joosti cannot say no to those precious faces ... reader i imagine tries to stay strong but fails cuz they are just so so cute !! babiesss !!!how could they deprive the three of anything honestly.... if you have any specifics you'd like to hear dynamic wise i am all ears :)))
laurens and juna are 6 and 5 when sanne is born so i think it's quite a bit of an adjustment for them when it's just been the two of them for their entire lives!! but i think reader n joosti take so many precautions to make sure they're ready for a baby and especially a new sister in the dynamic :'') i can imagine normal au joosti gets so teary eyed when reader says that juna won't be the youngest anymore haha
i think for all 4 of them it's a huge change cuz they've all been so used tojust having each other!! but laurens and juna fall in love w sanne because they realize she is a great prop for their playing pretend <33 LOL she's like barely a few days old and they insist joosti making a silly voice for her and pretending she's a member of the tea party when it's time
when she's older they are the 3 musketeers -- lots of exploring outdoors and making mud potions and elixirs in the backyard :'') they love each other and i don't think there's much difficulty in having them adjust
LOLLLL i wanna write normal au backstory soooo bad but you guys keep giving me such great ideas for present day normal au debauchery... but lets just say they have like 1.5 breakups and it takes so long for them to get together ... they might consider the night they met their anniversary but that is DEFINITELY not when they got together as a couple!!
i have so much planned and i really hope i get to it -- normal au is such a labor of love and my favorite thing i've ever written and published !! can't believe it's like 30k words in all now ?! that is crazyy work ... anyways
family anon i hope your days have been brighter since then <33 the future is so uncertain i know but we will stick together after... you know what... someone needs to insert knife emoji here that man :/
you are so special !!! family anon you are the greatest !!!

Unlocking Creativity and Curiosity: Innovative Learning Activities for Preschoolers
Preschool is a magical phase in a child’s life, full of wonder, exploration, and rapid development. At this stage, young minds are naturally curious and creative, making it the perfect time to introduce innovative learning activities. These activities not only build foundational skills but also ignite a lifelong love for learning. At Rhythm Play School in Noida, we believe that nurturing creativity and curiosity is essential for holistic development. Here’s how innovative activities can make learning exciting and impactful for preschoolers.
Why Focus on Creativity and Curiosity?
Creativity and curiosity are the building blocks of critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability—skills that children will carry throughout their lives. Encouraging preschoolers to ask questions, experiment, and think outside the box helps them develop confidence and resilience. When children explore their surroundings with curiosity, they not only learn new concepts but also form deeper connections with the world around them.
Innovative Learning Activities for Preschoolers
Sensory Play for Exploration Sensory activities engage children’s senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell—stimulating their brain development. Activities like playing with textured materials, exploring water and sand, or using edible play dough help children develop motor skills while satisfying their innate curiosity.
Example: Create a “discovery box” filled with objects like feathers, pebbles, and pinecones for children to explore.
Artistic Expression Art provides preschoolers with an avenue to express themselves freely. Offering non-traditional tools like sponges, leaves, or even fingers for painting allows them to experiment with textures and colors.
Example: Try a collaborative mural project where children contribute their creativity to a large canvas, fostering teamwork and individual expression.
STEM Activities for Little Innovators Introduce basic STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) concepts through fun and simple experiments. Building block towers, mixing colors, or growing plants teach scientific principles while keeping the experience hands-on and engaging.
Example: Set up a “mini volcano” activity using baking soda and vinegar to demonstrate chemical reactions.
Imaginative Role-Play Role-playing allows children to step into different characters, enhancing their social and communication skills. Setting up pretend scenarios like a grocery store, a doctor’s clinic, or a kitchen encourages creativity and problem-solving.
Example: Organize a “pretend play day” with costumes and props to let children explore various professions.
Nature Exploration Outdoor activities provide endless opportunities for discovery. Nature walks, leaf collection, and bug observation not only enhance sensory experiences but also instill a sense of environmental awareness.
Example: Plan a scavenger hunt where children collect specific items like flowers, rocks, or leaves, learning about their surroundings.
Storytelling and Puppet Shows Stories fuel imagination and build language skills. Incorporating puppets or props makes storytelling interactive and engaging, encouraging children to participate and create their own narratives.
Example: Let children design their own puppets and perform a short story as a group activity.
Music and Movement Music-based activities like dancing, singing, and instrument exploration help children develop rhythm, coordination, and listening skills. Combining music with movement fosters both physical and cognitive development.
Example: Use action songs like “If You’re Happy and You Know It” to teach rhythm and body awareness.
How Rhythm Play School Encourages Creativity
At Rhythm Play School, Noida, our approach to early education is rooted in fostering creativity and curiosity. Our programs are designed to provide children with diverse opportunities to explore, experiment, and grow. From sensory play zones to outdoor exploration areas and art workshops, every activity is thoughtfully curated to ignite young imaginations.
The Benefits of Innovative Activities
Cognitive Development: Activities that encourage curiosity and creativity stimulate brain growth and enhance problem-solving skills.
Social Skills: Collaborative tasks teach children how to communicate, share, and work as part of a team.
Confidence Building: Allowing children to explore and express themselves helps build self-esteem and independence.
Foundation for Lifelong Learning: A curious mind is an engaged mind. Encouraging exploration early lays the groundwork for a lifelong passion for learning.
Conclusion
Unlocking creativity and curiosity in preschoolers is the key to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Innovative activities that inspire exploration, imagination, and critical thinking prepare children not just for school but for life. At Rhythm Play School, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child’s unique potential can flourish.
Let’s inspire our little learners to dream big, explore fearlessly, and grow into confident, creative individuals. Visit Rhythm Play School, Noida, and discover how our innovative learning programs can make a difference in your child’s journey!

Every time I wonder the same thing, I remember this one time when I was 8 where I thought people were ignoring me on purpose because I'd say something and they wouldn't notice
...and then someone tried to explain to me in the worst way possible. Literally "I can't hear the kids bouncing basketballs and screaming but I can hear you because I'm focused on you" and I'm like "...is your hearing ok???? How can you not hear that noise? It's loud"
...my dad then proceeded to explain that "yeah, ADHD does that lol" and I was like "oh. Oki :>"
...to this day, I am confused as to how she didn't hear LITERAL CHILDREN SCREAMING AND THROWING THINGS IN THE GYM. It echos and it's loud and just-
I'm confused about that to this day
...anyway, here's my random input that's about 5% logical, probably-
I say it is ADHD because I'm only diagnosed with ADHD. If it's something else, then I have no idea I'm just going with what I've been diagnosed with for years lol
Also, congratulations on the diagnosis. Music tends to make brain work is what I've learned
thank you for sharing!
yeah I often felt extremely horrible when I was in preschool and kindergarten. the voices of people talking over each other stuck with me even when was home.
and music IS how I focus. it drowns out everything else around me so I won't get distracted. my parents think I'm just using it as an excuse to listen to music. how can you sing a song and solve math problems? idunno. I just do!
my dad tried to take away my head phone so I had to smuggle it to school everyday in secret as I studied:3 I bought a new one for myself this year that's wireless.
that music hyper focus states also makes time kinda move... slower? it's really bizarre and fun because I sometimes have these flashes of images that I see with sounds I hear and often use it as fuel for animating and story boarding as I'm multitasking on my homework.
it's a bit exhausting but most of it comes to time management.
:)

pass the happy! 💌 when you get this reply with 5 things that make you happy and send this to 10 more people! get sending. 💖💐
Personal facts:
1. I've been writing since elementary school short stories, but got into writing fanfiction in maybe late middle-school?
2. I've been drawing since i was in preschool but im very self conscious so i rarely post my art online lmao <\3
3. I'm a HUGE ace attorney fan. Discovered the series in the middle of the pandemic and never looked back. Currently on TGAA-c3 on switch and im having the time of my life.
4. I'm in the process of having an electrical engineering bachelors degree :) lots of math going on here hehe
5. I love reading! When i was in middle school i switched to a school were i was alone most of the time, so i would go to this bookshop every week and buy a book to read for the week. I dont read much books anymore since i dont have time, but two of my favorite books are 'The Song of Achilles' and 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo'.

Mystery sound tubes are a fun and engaging way to promote STEM learning among children. These tubes are typically made of paper towel tubes with varying lengths and diameters, sealed at both ends, and filled with a variety of materials such as rice, beans, or sand, pebbles, chains , beads and many more. This experience is related to physics, which provides children an opportunity to practice scientific inquiry method, math and technological skills.

Science-
Observation: Mystery sound tubes can be used to help children develop their observation skills. By observing the tubes and how they produce sound, children can develop a better understanding of how sound works.
Questioning: Using mystery sound tubes can encourage children to ask questions about how and why the tubes produce sound. This can help develop their questioning skills and curiosity about the world around them.
Hypothesizing: As children explore mystery sound tubes, they can form hypotheses about how different variables might affect the sound produced by the tube. They can then test these hypotheses through experiments.
Experimenting: Mystery sound tubes provide an opportunity for children to conduct experiments and test their hypotheses. They can try different materials, sizes, and shapes of tubes to see how they affect the sound produced.
A video by Jasmine. Drawing Conclusions: After conducting experiments with the mystery sound tubes, children can draw conclusions about what they have learned. They can even compare the different sounds and categorize them accordingly. They can then use this information to develop new hypotheses and continue the scientific inquiry process.
Technology-
Little T :
Introducing the concept of sound: Mystery sound tubes can help preschoolers understand the concept of sound and how it travels. They can observe how different objects make different sounds and learn how the sound travels through the tube. Here, they can use simple tools such as rhythm sticks, drums, shakers or bells to listen to different sounds. Materials that will be used to fill the mystery tubes will even help children understand the sound concept. Introducing basic technology: While mystery sound tubes may not be high-tech devices, they do introduce basic technology concepts such as cause and effect, and the use of simple tools to create sound. A paper cup telephone, when placed over the ear, makes some sounds which children can experience through it.
Big T:
Use of technology: Mystery sound tubes can be used in conjunction with technology, such as microphones and speakers, to create more complex experiments. This can help children understand how technology can be used to enhance our understanding of scientific concepts. Other than this, we will place a computer near this invitation where an ebook will be displayed for children to browse. An audio song of the same book will also be played for helping children to know that different devices make sound.

Measurements: As all the mystery tubes are filled with different kinds of materials such as chains, cotton, stones, or beads, children can try to estimate the amount of material in it by shaking or listening to them. This will teach them about the concept of capacity.
Comparison skills: we will make the mystery tubes of different sizes and will place them in patterns such as small to big, which will help children to recognize the pattern of size. Moreover, mystery tubes provide children with an opportunity to compare them according to their pitch. To exemplify, they can compare which tube makes the loudest sound and which tube makes a minimal sound.
Categorisation and counting: All the mystery tubes will be numbered according to their size, which will promote counting skills. Children can even categorize which tubes make similar sounds or are different.
In today’s workshop, I liked every station. However, two of them, which I liked the most are:
1. Gravity station
2. Sand station
Gravity: It is one of my favourite stations as I like to research about the earth and physics. The way they presented the concept was really good. They used the concept of height and even provided clear instructions about the activities to do. Other than this, there were a lot of materials to experience gravity such as balls if different texture and sizes, paint, and many more.
Picture credit: Dilnaj kaur. Physics: The concept of gravity is based on the laws of physics, which can be introduced to children through simple experiments and activities. For example, children can learn about gravity by observing how objects fall to the ground and exploring the factors that affect the rate of descent.
Maths skills: Children compare the different materials in this activity according to their speed or sizes, this is turn promote comparison skills.
Technology: This activity promotes little T among children as it provides them with a lot of materials to explore.
Exploring gravity through this activity allows children to use scientific inquiry method:
Making paper plane by Dilnaj. When children will drop some balls over the ramp, they will observe the way the balls go down. This is turn trigger children minds and arise a lot of questions in their mind like why every ball goes down. This is then followed by hypothetical scenarios where they make some estimates. It may be like every balls rolls in a same speed. When they experiment the hypothesis on every ball, they will come to a conclusion.
2. Sand station: I liked this stationary as it looked too appealing to me. The way the organized their materials was really good. The invitation contained a sensory experience that i found too relaxing. The data displays they provided even promoted problem solving skills.
Picture credit: Dilnaj kaur. Scientific inquiry:
Encouraging observation and exploration: Sand stations provide an opportunity for children to explore and observe the properties of sand, such as its texture, weight, and how it moves. Encouraging children to use their senses to explore the sand can help them develop their observational skills, a key component of scientific inquiry.
Asking questions: Sand play can be used as a starting point for asking questions about the properties of sand, such as "What happens when we add water to the sand?" or "What happens when we mix different colors of sand together?" Asking questions can encourage children to think critically and develop their problem-solving skills.
Experimentation: Sand play can also provide an opportunity for children to conduct experiments, such as testing how different types of sand affect the stability of sandcastles. Through experimentation, children can learn about cause and effect and develop their understanding of scientific concepts.
Completing a data display by Sandeep. Maths: As in this activity, there was a game where one child was going to hide some buttons and beads in the sand and the another child going to found that. This would promote good memory skills and counting skills. Other than this, they included a scale, which children can use to balance the both sides. This is turn promotes measuring skills. This also promotes little ‘T’.
Builds spatial awareness: Sand play can help children develop spatial awareness by giving them a three-dimensional medium to work with. This can help them understand concepts like volume, density, and shape.
Last but not the least, Math and Science course was overall a good learning experience for me. At first, I was little scared about the math and science that would be involved in it, but it was a fun, engaging and practical math, which helped me to learn a lot. The new learning to me after this course were-
Magnetic experiment by Jasmine. An information on STEM learning: In my country, India, stem is just one that is considered as a part if the tree. Therefore, it was a new experience for me, as there more emphasis us out on theoretical portion than the practical one. Learning about different concepts of math, little T and and big T, scientific and engineering method, all were new to me. Hence, it was a great experience for me.
I learnt about the different ways to present materials in front of children. I learnt a lot of different examples of STEM learning and why it is important for children. At last, it was a great course for me and always will be memorable.
Picture credit: Dilnaj. Here are some points on how STEM has helped me and will be helping as an educator:
Collaboration: Many STEM projects require collaboration between students, which can help them develop their teamwork and communication skills. By working together to achieve a common goal, students can learn to appreciate and respect the contributions of others and develop the skills they need to work effectively in a team.
Adaptability: STEM education emphasizes the importance of adaptability and flexibility in the face of change. By teaching students to be open-minded and willing to try new things, educators can help them develop the resilience and adaptability they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Picture credit: Dilnaj. Lifelong learning: Finally, STEM education emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning. By encouraging students to continue learning and exploring new ideas throughout their lives, educators can help them develop the skills they need to succeed in any career and make a positive impact on the world.
