Life is moving at warp speed 🤯 One month into his new daycare, Rome has learned his ABC’s (minus Q-V) and can count to 10. He sang his first song on the radio today (“Don’t walk away” by John Legend). And he smacked me in the face with a car he stole from school (“New car! New car!”) immediately followed by “I’m sorry, Mumia” 💗 Mumia needs to pause and take a minute to take this all in and really practice being present. THIS is what life is all about (getting smacked in the face with cars 😆...I mean, my people), THIS is why I work so hard... it would be a shame for me to miss all that I’ve worked for that is right before my eyes, because I keep working for the future... Isn’t that the #truth ! It’s so hard for me to understand why people will listen to the non-experts for expert #fatloss advice simply because the journey has been recent and public. People tell me “well, you’re already thin and in good shape, you wouldn’t understand.” Wait 🛑 WHAT?! #homesteadrepairs yesterday I smelled gas and saw what looks like some gas may have dripped from carburetor so I thought #safetyfirst and decided to push mower outside of garage to work on it but the poor old dry rotted front tire had other ideas for my time. After due diligence on deciding I ended up getting a tube to put in this tire to extend tire life because I should #practicewhatipreach about not being part of the #throwawaysociety and besides I'm too puny in wallet to get a new tire right now. I'm thankful my lical Lowes had both in stock. It's a 16x6.5-8 tubeless #offroad tire. So today I'm tackling this job and as you can see in a couple pictures the old green slime is running out the patched area. Sometimes nothing makes sense and other times the clarity can be so overwhelming. There are times when nothing is logical and other times total understanding take place. Sometimes we have feelings of how unimportant we allow ourselves to feel based off of someone else’s judgments about us make us want to leave our bodies and other times all it takes is the sound of a child to remind us how important it is to let go of our anger, fear, resentment, insecurities, self doubt and all the other feelings that make us feel less than. Shifting our focus on to the positive can be hard at times especially when we feel alone and isolated from our loved ones. No matter how hard life gets, no matter how depressed you get or alone you feel, NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. You’re life could shift to the positive at any moment.
