How to Choose the Right Bodybuilding Supplements for Optimal Results
Bodybuilding supplements have become a popular way to enhance physical performance in the gym and in competitive sports. However, it is important to understand the importance of knowing the right supplement to use in order to maximize its benefits and minimize the risk of any potential side effects.
The supplement industry is vast and can be overwhelming, as there are thousands of products available on the market. With so many options, it’s easy to become confused or overwhelmed, which can lead to making the wrong decisions when it comes to choosing the right supplement for you.
Facts to consider
The most important thing to consider when selecting a bodybuilding supplement is to understand the purpose it serves. Different supplements are designed to provide specific benefits, and it is important to understand what these benefits are and how they can benefit you. For example, some supplements are designed to provide increased strength and muscle mass, while others are designed to help with recovery and improve overall performance. Additionally, some supplements are designed for fat loss, while others are designed to help with weight gain.
Knowing the purpose of the supplement you are taking will help you determine if it is the right supplement for you. Additionally, it is important to research the supplement you are considering to make sure it is safe and effective. This includes looking at ingredients, dosage amounts, and any potential side effects.
For Top of The Line Bodybuilding Supplement Products – GO HERE
It is also essential to understand the right way to use the supplement you choose. Some supplements can be taken on a daily basis, while others may need to be taken in cycles. Additionally, it is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions on how to take the supplement in order to maximize its effectiveness.
Finally, it is important to remember that bodybuilding supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet and regular exercise. Supplements are designed to supplement an existing diet and exercise plan, not replace it. Supplements should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise to ensure optimal results.
Ultimately, knowing the right bodybuilding supplement to use is essential for achieving optimal physical performance. It is important to research the supplement you are considering, understand its purpose and benefits, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for taking it.
Doing so will help ensure you take the right supplement for your individual needs and maximize its potential benefits. So, you could get your bodybuilding goals met faster with some top-of-the-line supplement products. To start transforming your body today - GO HERE.

The amount of misinformation surrounding nutrition is absolutely absurd. If you ask the average person who thinks they know a lot about nutrition, they'll likely have less than 0 understanding of how it works. If you ever have a question about nutrition or exercise, I genuinely cannot recommend Renaissance Periodization enough. The only way information gets put out is if a consideration of ALL the scientific literature is considered, and I have literally never seen them put out any bad info. I've seen Dr. Mike recommend people not buy his powerlifting training templates because he thought juggernaut.ai was better. I have never seen a more honest source of information coming out of the industry. Even people who are similarly respected end up plugging bullshit supplements or, at the very least, will NOT tell you if a competitor is a better source of information. If you ever, for any reason, find yourself thinking you know something about nutrition and that understanding guides how you eat or train, PLEASE look up an RP video on the topic. (they are also an extremely good source of info for bodybuilding and strength building (and yes, bodybuilders are very strong, and anyone who tells you they're show muscles and not practical muscles are 99/100 times weaker than even amateur bodybuilders))
#made this poast bc i have legit never seen a single post outside of very niche fitness circles on nutrition that has not contained a myth#certainly not on tumblr#that has been disproven already#saw like 5 today lol#also im sorry if this seems like I'm vauging a specific person I prommy I'm not I just saw an rp video on a topic that a lot of people have#wild misunderstandings about#(sugar)

hey, sorry, but i was wondering how you started on your fitness journey? i'm in a similar spot that you were two years ago and i want so badly to make the progress you have. i keep trying to begin but stopping because i get too scared or nervous, it's so daunting. do you have any good resources like websites/videos/youtube channels/blogs/etc.? i would really appreciate it. you look awesome and your post was super inspiring.
No apologies needed! It is pretty daunting man because it's getting into it for the long run.
Before I finally stuck with it I started and stopped several times in the past as well. If I were to give short tips personally on how to get started based on how I did:
-Start with the most simple thing for you and focus on building a habit out of it. Whatever that is, do it even if you don't want to. For me, I started with a scheduled walk around a trackfield (one full loop around the track) twice a week.
-Take the time to really outline your goals. Make sure to include short term goals and not only long term ones! It helps to say "I'm gonna walk for 5 minutes" and building up to the goal of "I'm gonna walk for 60 minutes", for example. Additional: having something visual can help with tracking it.
-Take it slow, and keep it simple. You're in this for the longhaul. And it will be very slow, but trust the progress and focus on the present
------------------------
As for resources, these are what I used (with some notes if it helps!)
Jeremy Either's Youtube Channel
Great source of information in regards to many things, particularly muscle building. I already had a base understanding of working out due to my sports background, but he's great for complete newbies and for anyone who needs a refresher. I still watch his stuff today but I don't rely on it nearly as much now that I have a better idea of what I'm doing.
Hybrid Calisthenics Youtube Channel
Fantastic channel for complete beginners and for people looking to get into the swing of things again, but at a slower rate. He focuses on being genuinely positive and encouraging finding ways that'll work specifically for you. That includes doing variations of exercises that may be too hard at first, like variations of the pushup, or pullup. Simple routines to get you started without destroying yourself. Very good channel, honestly.
Sean Nalewanyj Youtube Channel
He was the first fella I followed before I found Jeremy. His content is short, punctual, and easy to understand, so if you're looking for much quicker advice without the super detailed explanations his YT Shorts would be recommended. You'll likely have to do a little more research on your own to supplement the knowledge though. Like Jeremy I still watch his content.
Jeff Nippard Youtube Channel
His content is chocked full of research based shit and sometimes can be a tiiiiny bit much to follow, so not really something I'd recommend for beginning lifters. That said, his content in general is downright fascinating and if you're looking for in-depth analysis on the world of bodybuilding, powerlifting, and so on, he's my go-to.
Leanbeefpatty Youtube Channel
Her content is far more vlog-ish, but she gives solid advice while simultaneously just being fun to watch. I like how much more relaxed her stuff is as well, so if you're looking for something that isn't as potentially stressful I'd recommend her over anyone else listed.
Eugene Teo Youtube Channel
I've only just started watching him a couple of months ago but he's been a joy to listen to. His content is relatively chill but he gives indepth explanations without getting too science-y with them. He also promotes things other than fitness that'll help with your goals; stuff like mindful hobbies, healthy food-relation habits (for example: there's no such thing as a good or bad food), so on.
----------------
Other sources I've used to help educate myself the more I got into it include MyFitnessPal (I use it to count my calories and macros), Healthline, countless other youtubes I won't list just so I don't talk your ears off, and asking for tips from fellow gym goers who attend the same gym I do.
I hope these are of some help to you! And keep up the grind; take it one step at a time, and if you need any more advice you think I can help with I'm all ears. I'm rootin' for ya! :)

Sorry for the long wait, world brothers and sisters.
I finally finished Chiyuri's illustration.
Now, Chiyuri and Yumemi are paired with each other.
I'm going to frame it and exhibit it somewhere or sell it.
There are several reasons why it has been a little while since I announced that I was going to draw Chiyuri. One is a good story and the other is a bad story.
The bad news is that her uterine cancer may have returned. I was told that the cancer had disappeared, but after three months, a quick checkup found some abnormal cells that were present before the cancer started.
Next month, I will be hospitalized again to have all the endometrium removed under general anesthesia and undergo tests.
I feel like throwing up just thinking about it.
Not only would I have to pay for the hospitalization, but if the cancer was still there, I would have to say goodbye to my uterus.
Then I'll be in the hospital again. It's disgusting.
On a positive note, I recently broke my own powerlifting records in two events (squat and deadlift), and I will be competing in the prefectural competition on March 31.
I hope I can make a record at the prefectural competition....
Finally, if any of my siblings would like to support me, they would be very happy to send me an Amazon gift or something.
I need to buy protein and supplements for my athletic life and fighting illness...
I'm still too busy with medical bills to do any free shopping.

Sorry if this is a weird question but how much protein do you eat to maintain your muscles? I kinda struggle with getting my protein in (I drink a 50g shake and then try to get the rest with food each day) so it'd be nice to hear what others do and how much! Ty, you have amazing outfits btw!
i live with a powerlifter boyfriend and he generally goes by the guideline 1-2g of protein per lb of body weight. i try but usually don't hit this exact goal. i also use protein supplements, for food i eat pretty protein dense meals and then usually have protein rich snacks as well. my issue is i don't eat very many meals per day, but even if i don't make the goal i usually get most of the way there
keep in mind protein will help you gain/maintain muscle but it's not the only thing you need. if you're not eating enough carbs and fat you won't gain any muscle either
#personally i love yogurt and cottage cheese#i also made protein muffins the other day and they were pretty good#ccrow answers#anon ask

It is so inspiring hearing about your weight loss :) i was wondering if you had any particular weight loss tips you’d like to share? I went through a period of weight loss myself, but have lately gained back a lot of what I’ve lost and I’d like to know if there’s anything that helped you get back on the wagon. Love your blog btw!
Don’t be too hard on yourself, its rough out here especially in the US. it’s easy to accidentally slip up and gain 15 pounds just by eating a lil extra every day.
Some things that helped me:
Intermittent fasting, only a 13 hour window though. The 16:8 was too much for me and with women it can screw with your hormones if you’re not careful.
Drinking lots of water. Like a ton. I put those hydration multiplier electrolyte packets in my water as well.
Get good quality sleep. I got some Brooklinen sheets and they are 100% worth it. Definitely improved my sleep quality. I also have a really nice down duvet and an Egyptian cotton cover for it. I also have a silk eye mask and a silk pillowcase from Slip that I love. Sleep is extremely important.
Get 10k steps a day or at least just walk as much as you can. I’m sedentary a lot for school/work/etc. so I absolutely have to get out and walk and get moving. Even if you just aim for a mile or two a day it’ll greatly help.
If you don’t want to lift weights that’s okay. It’s not for everyone. I used to be super into powerlifting and got pretty muscular but it doesn’t excite me like it used to. I do a mix now of walking, jogging, pilates, rollerblading, cycling, kickboxing, swimming, yoga, ice skating, and weightlifting. That way I’m never bored and the variety allows me to choose what I want to do.
Consistency is key. Doing 4 workouts a week at a light/medium intensity is better than doing 1-2 a week of super high intensity and burning yourself out. Every little bit helps.
I do a full body stretch every day. This is super important. Our bodies get so stiff during the day. If you don’t stretch this can lead to injuries when you try to do other things.
I love the sauna (and hot yoga too). If you can find and afford a gym that has a sauna, I would highly recommend. Sometimes I will just go and walk on the treadmill for 30-45 minutes and watch YouTube videos and then sit in the sauna. It’s the best.
Make sure you’re not deficient in anything. Take a complete multivitamin and get blood work done. I was severely deficient in vitamin D and it was making me depressed. Once I took a supplement, got more sun and got my levels up it really helped my overall health.
Cut out grains, sugar, junk food, fried foods, etc. and just eat real foods. Anything with a long ingredient list usually isn’t a good idea. It’ll take a minute to get used to it but once you start eating almost exclusively vegetables, fruits, proteins, and healthy fats you won’t miss it. I have such a big sweet tooth sometimes I’ll have to eat like five servings of berries with a few tablespoons of honey just to satisfy it, but that’s better than ice cream or candy any day.
Don’t deprive or starve yourself. I eat as healthy as I can manage 80-90% of the time. But every once and a while I will eat a huge plate of pasta, gelato, tiramisu, croissants, those types of foods that I love. It’s not helpful to punish yourself and you gotta live a little.
I got a smart scale in my bathroom, the one I got is from FitIndex. It has an app that connects to your phone and it syncs to other health apps. it shows you body fat, muscle mass, water weight, everything. Honestly super triggering at first because I felt called out lol but now I step on it once a week just to make sure I’m on the right track.
You do not need a gym membership to workout. YouTube is the best. I love Yoga with Adrienne, MadFit, Move with Nicole, Charlie Follows, Vicky Justiz, and there’s a bunch of others. Find what you like and try to stick with it as much as you can.
Rest is super important. Don’t run yourself ragged. If you’re sore don’t force yourself to workout.
MyFitnessPal is super helpful. If you have a history of disordered eating this might not be for you but it’s good to be conscious of what you’re eating. Figure out what you need to lose fat/maintain/gain muscle and then track to see where you’re at and adjust accordingly.
Eat more protein. Protein, healthy fats, and fiber keep you full. You will be starving if you eat only salads. Fruit smoothies with protein, protein oats, salmon, yogurt, eggs, etc.
Get cute workout gear. It makes it more fun for me to workout with my pink towels, my pink hydroflask, my lululemon yoga mat, I have a baby blue jumprope and pink dumbbells and pastel colored resistance bands for at home workouts. A lot of my workout clothes are from lululemon, alo yoga, free people, and aerie. I have some of those blender bottles in cute colors for preworkout, protein powder, super greens powder, electrolyte mixes, etc. Some of this stuff is pricy but I’d rather be investing in my health than paying medical bills down the road so it’s 100% worth it to me.
The only way to see permanent change is to make it a lifestyle. Unfortunately you can’t just go back to eating unhealthy foods once you hit a certain goal. Those models who say they live exclusively off of pizza and pasta and cheeseburgers are lying through their teeth. It’s perfectly healthy to have days off where you indulge or don’t exercise but most of the time you’ll have to find ways to eat healthy and exercise and prioritize your health.
