so i had a yapfest to a friend about stobs relationship and sonic 3 then went here to go further but its so embarrassing to post whole cause its nothinburger and then realizations so i will just post those here

i figured out whats the only thing rn that i think works as a reason why their relationship hasnt yet evolved and thats that bot is a stubborn guy that just Doesnt Listen but also doesnt see with his own two eyes. if stone confessed his love to him directly he would probably be like "huh, mustve been the wind. anyway, everyone hates me"

(context the way bot let himself go and how he keeps getting himself into Situations. i felt weird about stone not doing anything about it, but we dont know if he hasnt tried. he probably has, but it was useless because bot doesnt listen)

my first wrong step was taking a jim carrey character from the kids-focused sonic media out of all things as deeper than silly villain. but why did they do that. they wouldnt write the ending of this movie like they did if they didnt add stone <- which is a totally different thought, something that made me stop and think as well. we would not have the ending like that if stone wasnt there! wild.
