Don't get me wrong, I loved the one we got. Especially since it's more subtly replacing the Jinx & Vi design, but this looks so amazing.

I love the colors. I love how at peace the two look in eachothers arms. I love that they included the blue smoke tattoos and the clockwork design.

As much as I have thought about Perospero having a 60s/70s + victorian aesthetic sense, something about him makes him soooo Memphis Milano and village coffeehouse 💛

I’ve thought about it before, but what really reaffirmed it for me was when I realized that this pottery I see sometimes when I search his name is called ‘prospero designworks’ and it’s just so fitting LMAO

Idk if you would call these Memphis style or global village coffeehouse but they share the same kind of whimsy 💛

And considering his color choices and accessorizing, it makes me think that he would be like one of those old ladies that wears chunky statement jewelry pieces and giant funky sunglasses

...actually made it click for me just how many irl empires are associated with an un-setting sun. The Japanese Empire and it's "rising sun" flag. The saying of the world before the global liberation movements of the mid- to late-1900s: "The sun never sets on the British Empire." Very interesting parallels being made.
