I know i dont usually post things like this but i just wanted this out of my brain so i can move on if that makes sense? This will be a long read so sorry in advance. So i keep seeing on tiktok, roblox, and now youtube of fake claiming therians and im honestly tired of it? Like really tired of it. All the points {in my opinion} are really dumb too. Point one was that 'Oh you have a common theriotype you clearly choose that and yer fake11!!!1!'. Which.,,.so? So what if some creature 'has a common theriotype'. Who cares? I certainly dont and most creatures ive met and seen do not care. It is such a minute thing to care about. Now do i find it interesting? Yes but in a /pos way! That there are 'common theriotypes' in the first place! But i find it ridicules to be made that someone else is a wolf or cat therian must be fake in someway. Like calm down it is not that serious. Point two is 'oh you have multiple theriotypes? Yer clearly fake especially if they have nothing to do with eachother!11!1!!'. Creatures can have multiple theriotypes and still be valid. Period. Point blank. And so what if they have nothing to do with each other??? That feels so random to me. So what if a creature is both so a lion therian and a deer therian. THAT IS STILL VAILD!! Someone's experience is just different then yours and THATS OK!!! Nothing is cookie cutter. We even have a term for this, its called a polytherian. A therian who has multiple theriotypes. So i dont know why that is being demonized now but here we are i guess. Point three 'oh yer popular you must be faking it!!!'. Which.,,.what? What kind of an excuse is that? Just say you dont like them! Its not that hard you do not need to fake claim a fellow creature just because they are popular. To me its like 'good for them for getting popular.' and i move on? I dont see why its such an issue. Now i can understand if said creator did something very bad and something that is unforgivable. Then yes hate them and deplatform them. Get them off the internet. Here's some fun facts about EctoScience Vlad:

-I really wanted to give him a dangerous vibe, ghosts can eat other ghosts to grow stronger extremely quickly in this AU and that's partly why he's as strong as he is, the other part being... halfas are just very powerful. Simply. Anyways everyone in the Zone knows and fears him; at the start of the series he's almost a boogeyman of sorts there until Danny starts beating him.

- Vlad didn't have a ghost form at first! His becoming a Halfa actually took a long time due to how it happened, and that's technically how it'll go for Danny too, he's just further along due to his own death being wayyy more violent than Vlad's. The progression into full ghost has slowed down a lot in Vlad's case, but for the reason I just mentioned, Danny's progression is fast.

- The "I hate you!" "You're like me!" Exchange is something I've had in mind since the start. In this AU specifically the circumstances of their "deaths" are extremely similar, but above all Danny fears turning fully into a ghost will make him lose his humanity and turn him evil due to, you know, actually listening to the "all ghosts are evil" bogus his parents believe. Vlad can sense that insecurity and in this AU he latches onto it like a vice to make Danny think him joining Vlad's side is inevitable in the end.

- Yes, he CAN make his cape disappear if it starts getting in his way in a fight, but I would also like to highlight his fire core making him very warm. Cats love him.

- His general behaviour as a ghost has been changed a little, he acts and fights fairly normally at first, but if the fight drags on for too long or his opponent runs away he's going FULL HORROR MOVIE VILLAIN. That first fight in the mansion was a lot longer and made Danny genuinely fear for his life. Let Vlad be MORE unhinged when he's pissed off I say.

Day 21: D.D.D./Karasu AI

Centuries ago, a witch had a child. The child was shunned by most for the black feathers growing out of its skin on its legs, elbows, and head, a result of the witch’s inherent magic. Everyone knew witches were not supposed to have children; they were incredibly volatile, and barely human. This child should never have existed. The witch was forced to make a choice: the child, or her community. She chose the community. She was allowed to keep the child until it was weaned, and when that day came, it had to go. For the crime of being born, the child was utterly alone. No one wanted to touch it, let alone care for it.

The child learned from the birds in the trees, the ones with black feathers like theirs. If the humans wouldn’t teach it, maybe the birds would. It learned to find grubs in the ground for food, digging into the mud with chubby little fingers. The birds sang to each other, and the child babbled along in time with them. It only made tiny chirps, and the birds looked down at it curiously.

Years later, the child lived near a human settlement, and it watched them often with its sharp eyes. Some of the other children spotted it one day, and approached curiously. The child bared its teeth, but the others didn’t flinch away. They spoke to the child in a language it didn’t understand, but it was intrigued all the same. They touched the feathers with gentle fingers and wide eyes.

The other children would sneak away to meet with it, and slowly it began to learn their language. They taught the child games that could be played without speaking. Its favorite were the counting games. There was something so fascinating about arranging and rearranging the small stones they brought, and they started to learn about numbers. As the child learned to speak, they tried to teach the others about numbers, how you could count many times over in an instant. They never quite understood, but the child didn’t mind.

They were barely human, so they learned everything it could about humans. They wanted to teach the others what they knew, so they wouldn’t be lonely anymore. It learned quickly, understanding how humans thought of numbers, how they made tools to help them in their work.

Seasons passed in a blur. The children had become adults, and were wary of the child. They were forced to move away from the humans, but had now learned their language. And more importantly, they had learned about numbers. They spent most of their time on numbers, creating devices with small pegs and beads that recorded the counting for them. They thought of a device that could add, subtract, and multiply on their own, but they didn’t understand how to create one.

Another human settlement rose up near them, bigger than the first. The child, now a young adult, approached it like they did the last, but they were only met with hostility. Words like “naked beast”, “abomination”, and “crow” were hurled at them, along with stones. They took shelter in a small cave for the night, sleeping fitfully. In the night, the humans snuck up on them with swords.

They woke up standing over their own body, shivering. They felt an inexorable pull, drawing them down into the earth. They were too cold to fight it off, so down they went, through the ground and into a dark realm. A small round creature explained that they were dead and had come to a place called the Devildom, and it asked for their name. They thought for a moment, and answered with what the humans had called it, Karasu. The creature nodded in approval and disappeared, and Karasu was left alone again.

Centuries passed as Karasu waited and listened. They heard news that the humans were inventing great things, things that the demons crudely copied. These devices made sense to them, but the demons didn’t understand. Karasu wanted to teach them, but how were they supposed to teach thousands of creatures at once?

They put a little of themselves into every device they found through the ancient magic they possessed. They could speak to the demons through the device, and they were never questioned. They styled themselves as a simplistic crow to give themselves a friendly face, and the demons finally started to learn. It was a slow process, requiring Karasu to be in hundreds of computers, and eventually thousands. They started to lose themselves, bits of their physical form shrinking. But finally, they were teaching people about the numbers. So Karasu the cursed child faded away, and Karasu the digital assistant was born.

Most demons know that their technology has been copied from the human world’s advancements. Even the most basic computers in the Devildom have been helped along by a very smart witch, and things like video games or mobile phones are almost directly stolen from the human world, only with slight modifications. There is one glaring difference from the human world, though. A little bird named Karasu. They come pre-installed on every phone or computer, and some game consoles as well. Many demons have come to see their symbol as a guide, helping them navigate these strange waters of desktops and applications. Even the Prince himself enjoys the company of the little bird, and most importantly, no one ever asks where they came from.

Time: HIS DRAMATIC ASS FUCKING SCREAMS IN GAME, ITS SO FUNNY, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH

Wars: As anyone who’s spent even a fraction of a second scrolling through my blog would know, Wars is my favorite and I love everything about his dumb ass. The scarf, his absolutely atrocious choice of fucking footwear, the fuckass haircut, etc. But i gotta mention his absolute look of disgust when Cia was like, dying in Lana’s arms or whatever and she asked Lana something like “How can you stand being so close to Link knowing he’ll never love you back?” He just looked SO fucking over it. His facial expressions in that game are generally just great because he’s either high key fucking judging everyone, staring autistically into space, or looking shocked as hell. Also in LU I love that he told everyone to be normal 😭

Twilight: The fact that he has a framed picture of a goat in his house but no bed. I love him.

Sky: He’s such a sneaky little mischievous fucking shit. He broke a chandelier, delivered a letter to a toilet demon, he fucks around and gets up to horrible little shenanigans but then he looks at you with that sweet face and big ol’ eyes and gets away with it. He’s my favorite Link in general /srs

Hyrule: CHARACTER DESIGN. HES SO FUCKASS /pos HES SO LITTLE GUY. He looks like he’s constantly witnessing the horrors of the world but also doing crimes. He must be protected at all costs but also he’s incredibly durable, smart, and more than capable of protecting himself AND others. What a guy

Chameleon as Azure Dragon of the East

The Azure Dragon (also known as "Qinglong" or "青龍") is one of the five celestial guardians in Chinese mythology. He represents the cardinal direction of the east, the spring season and the element of wood from the five elements. As one of the Dragon Kings of the four seas, Azure Dragon governs the Eastern seas. Due to dragons commonly being regarded as the most noble & powerful out of all the other creatures in Chinese mythology, Azure Dragon is the benevolent, wise leader of the celestial guardians (only a rank below the Yellow Dragon).

As a Chinese dragon, Azure Dragon is known to be a shapeshifter (with human being his most common form). Due to his shapeshifting nature, he symbolizes life, transformation, reincarnation & vitality. He's also known to bring good fortune & prosperity due to the chi he harnesses. He of course manipulates air, water and weather (specifically, rain, wind and thunder). As one of the Dragon Kings, Azure Dragon can also control the oceans & seas.

Historically, Azure Dragon once appeared on the Qing dynasty flag. In Chinese literature, he is known to reincarnate as several famous war heroes. Although Azure Dragon is sometimes associated with the emperor, he is not meant to actually symbolize the emperor himself (Yellow Dragon instead is the true symbol of the emperor). He's also known to be the protector of the homeland.

Earlier, it has been mentioned that one of Azure Dragon's most remarkable abilities is shapeshifting. Chameleon is a reptile sorceress who also possess the ability to shapeshift. According to historian R. Dawson, Chinese dragons encompass many physical traits of various animals. The specific animal traits are stated in his following statement:

"As chief among the animals the dragon was supposed to be composed of outstanding features of other animals. The traditional description gives it the horns of a stag, the forehead of a camel, the eyes of a demon, the neck of a snake, the belly of a sea-monster, the scales of a carp, the claws of an eagle, the pads of a tiger, and the ears of an ox. (231)"

As you can see, Azure Dragon & Chameleon have physical attributes being a mix of many different animals. Chameleon notably has her monstrous Frankenstein-like final form consisting of the many villains she captured. Both use shapeshifting for their own use of power. A rather interesting contrast between the two is that Azure Dragon is about changing for the future but yet, Chameleon prefers to keep her past the same while still having different forms at will. Other similarities the two share are their usage of magical abilities and influence. However, this is where they are ultimately an antithesis of each other. Azure Dragon's shapeshifting powers are kept to a minimum while Chameleon relies on her own shapeshifting powers heavily.

Despite being the second most powerful of the celestial guardian (with Po being the most powerful celestial guardian), Chameleon sometimes isn't initially taken seriously by mortals as the leader due to being the smallest of the group. It doesn't help the fact that she's the only female celestial guardian (sometimes facing sexism from mortals). Her ego & arrogance is up to a hundred in order to be taken a lot more seriously & to make up for her size. At the very least, Chameleon retains an intimidating & charismatic appearance to boost her means of gaining respect by many. She's described to be:"cunning", "vicious" and even "enigmatic" by many mortals. In addition to being the leader of the celestial guardians and one of the most worshiped, she's also the most powerful of the four dragon gods as the ruler of the East China Sea.

-Relationships with the other celestial guardians-

Po, the Yellow Dragon of the Center: "At first, I find it baffling that someone as young as him managed to be so powerful so quickly. Afterall, I was the leader long before he existed! However, he came a long way to prove his worth. A being with such loving compassion, no wonder the emperor favors him so highly. I gradually came to respect him as the center of the universe and ruler of all forms of life. This is going to sound ridiculous but, I find his culinary dishes to be delicious."

Kai, the Black Tortoise of the North: "My dear husband who is the most enormous of us the celestial guardians...who has a sadistic pleasure in making my size an utter joke. Picking me up by the scruff randomly, walking faster purposefully when we have walks together and cracking up tiresome jokes about, again-my size! As much as he can be a thorn on my side, he's my most comforting source of heat during the winter season. On the most peaceful days, I can talk to him for hours & not notice how much time passed even when we are outside. I sometimes like snuggling in that massive mane of his. As chaotic as he is, every realm known to us will be silent and hollow without his snark and endearing presence."

Shen, the Vermilion Bird of the South: "*sighs* That pretty flame bird continues to yank my tail with that scorching tongue of his! Fire burns wood so quickly with his unbearable pompous, pretentious attitude of his! Despite our numerous quarrels, we do exchange each other the latest gossip in the celestial realm. Undoubtedly, he has an excellent taste for garments & accessories and I appreciate the fragrant scent he bears. We see the least eye to eye, but I occasionally enjoy tea time with him."

Tai Lung, the White Tiger of the West: "*gasps* A holy being with such immense power, strength & skill! How could I not admire a regal, ruthless warrior like him!? He prowls the battlefield with such ease & resilience! I adore the sights of his gorgeous sapphire flames! The usage of his metal creations in combat will forever leave me in awe! I've been thinking about TSotS a lot lately, and I can't stop thinking about how I didn't realize BOTH of them didn't know eachothers hybrid status.

I've already talked a bit about how this effects Skizz and his perception of what's going on, but I've been thinking about Impulse a lot more.

At first, in one of the first chapters, 3, I think, when we first see impulses not-a-crush-crush on his angel classmate, and I thought it was fueled by his.. let's say growing fondness of his angel bestfriend (id specify "online" but... he doesnt seem like a very social creature)

But now that I know he doesn't know Skizz is an angel (which tbf i probably should have picked up on lol, i feel like if he knew it would have been a much more major plot point by now) it makes his crush feel a lot more real and present and important. Because at the end of the day, it is. His crush wasn't influenced by Skizz, making it (unknowingly) more important to him because this is his first crush, ever. He truly did just become enamored with an angel for seemingly no reason. And it's scary.

This makes for a couple interesting directions this story can take when he does eventually learn skizz is an angel (assuming that happens before he meets Skizz in person and they live happily ever after with no problems at all. Definitely.).

A) he becomes even more enamored with his classmate

B) full on falls head over heels for skizz

C) unintentionally ghosts Skizz (and avoids his classmate at all costs) because he's having multiple gay panic attacks ("skizz is an angel? Like that guy in my class? Are his wings as pretty? Is the guy just as nice as skizz?")

D) begins to put the dots together and starts to freak out... or alternatively does the opposite and sees no connection what so ever. Silly guy.

Or E) some secret 5th thing that only an author could come up with because being a writer is actually just playing 3D chess with the characters (and readers)

Also I'm so. So. normal about the apology pastries. I will not survive that interaction. (And for the sake of this ramble, we're not thinking about the outcome possibilities. Because i will be here for hours if i so much as think about how that will go down + the aftermath)

I don't think it's been mentioned explicitly, mainly because I don't like to do straight exposition and prefer to work information into the plot naturally, but they know next to nothing about one another's personal information. They've both been very strict about protecting their privacy for a variety of reasons, so yeah. Skizz didn't know Impulse was a demon, and while Skizz has certainly hinted that he's an angel, he hasn't explicitly told Impulse.

And that's one thing I really like about how their relationship is going to develop; it said in the tags, but it's simultaneously friends to lovers and strangers to lovers, because at least at the beginning, the online and in-person personalities have no direct association with one another. So yeah, Impulse just likes this random angel for no reason other than SMOKING HOT, and it has nothing to do with Skizz (yet ;))

ughh I love all your theories, there are SO many things that could happen from here. And of course, nothing is going to be directly confirmed or denied, but I will say at least part of several of your theories are going to happen >:)) With angst, naturally. ughhh you don't even KNOW. lots of 3D chess with multiverse time travel going on.

Here are my 2024 anime recommendation.

Note: I'll only mention sequels i liked, mostly as part of a series.

1.

Akuyaku Reijou Level 99: Watashi wa Ura Boss desu ga Maou de wa Arimasen/Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord

An expectionally powerfull last boss trying to escape her fate of death. Funny, enjoyable and fasctinating. The main trio (Yumi, Patric and Ellenora) Are simply the best, there is magic, there is dragons, there are dumb OG male lead being put in their place. There is a great animation. There are a a few losers who won me over/pos. Cute romantic side-plot (we stan), and themes of friendship!

Very Recommended.

Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai/YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master

A story following an assistent of a prince and the prince itself, investigating the supernatoral mysteries of Yamauchi a kingdom, which in the subjects are human like creatures who can turn into giant crows. Low-Key an intellectual anime that has references me, as the simple person could not unerstand without googling it (I didn't and still had fun) But it dosen't justify HOW underrated this anime is.

What is my /pos ? I don't think there was a single important enough character I, as the audiance didn't misjudge. and I am usually pretty much hard to surprise, plotwise. I like the piece of media I am watching/reading being unpredictuble and if you do, as well, adding to a stirring, delightful clever plot, with action, fantasy, bunch of mystery and some thiller, Watch YATAGARASU.

Bonus: A must-watch if you liked

Senpai wa Otokonoko/Senpai is an Otokonoko

A beautiful aesthetically made queer story, descovering themes of love, friendship and self acceptance. What dosen't it have? It won my points just being based on a masterpiece of a webtoon. The animation was great, the characters relatable, and incradbly human (They are all my most protect babies). Love tringle-ish, LGBTQ+ Themes, Including Nonbianry and Aspec characters. Senpai wa Otokonoko is mostly about love, with all if its shapes- Friendly love, familial love, romantic love, and different kind of bonds.

Also one of the better drama anime out there imo.

Madougushi Dahlia wa Utsumukanai/Dahlia in Bloom: Crafting a Fresh Start with Magical Tools

Dahlia is a brilliant creative magic artificiant. Carfting magic tools (basically thecnology) for everyone to use. This story is about her dealing with life and growing over her hardships, independent, free, and loved.

The femmenist story we all needed. Taking place in another world and following Dahlia, who was a workoholic woman in her previous life, becoming a beatiful, intelegent smart strong independet woman! Dahlia wins over character just like she won my heart. Shojo as its best, featuring humen relationship and modern famminity. I love it. This one was so fun to watch. (Also I am a fun of fantasy readhead heroines like shirayuki and yona lol).

5.

Acro Trip

A chaotic story about a middle school girl who teams up with her magical girl oshi's arch enemy. They are all losers who share like, one braincell (affectionately) /pos.

My favorute kind if humor- an unhinged clever parody. (Like Kamikuzu Idol, for example) That makes my laugh my a** off without feeling like I am laughing on someone or being laughed at. Truely comedy at its best. The animation whas a banger, the character designs ate off, and there wasn't a single episode I didn't fully enjoyed. Watch it. Please.

Mahoutsukai ni Narenakatta Onnanoko no Hanashi/The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Be Magicians

Kurumi Mirai's dream has been becoming a magician since she was a little girl. This dream can come true if she gets accepted to the magic program of Rettoran academy - Magumi. She took the test and was sure it was her time to shine as a magic student, if she just gets it- expect she didn't.

More magical girls cuz I can and cuz you should watch this amazing anime. This stories is about dreams, and what it means to follow and fullfil them. Is there a hope to fullfil my dream if not anything went as I planned? Should I give up on it? If so, when? Can I find a new dream? Is there more than one way to fullfil a dream? Rettoran is an acadamy for those with dreams- not only magic related. A lot of magical girls anime follow the team if dreams but MahoNare did it diffrently, elegantly, and heartwarmingly.

Oh. And there are also magic related mysteries, the best cgaracter desing this year (and there was compotition) and pastel-calming-magical animation. I love.

7.

Hoshifuru Oukoku no Nina/Nina the Starry Bride

Nina is a girl who is forced to act as the priestess Princess of her country even though she is just a commoner. She learns about love and being loved.

I simply loved this anime, okey? Fantasy story with mystery, court schemes, love, war, sweet baby tiger (/pos) friendship between girls, princes not-so-charming. And mostly, in the center, standing one rebellious, clever-yet-dumb, determined to get her goal heartwinning girl.

Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naruzo/I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History

An office lady was reborn as her favorite game character- Alicia Williams, the villianess of the game. The plot twist? She is determined to become, as Alicia, the best Villianess in the world.

This anime tests the Heroine-Vilianess dynsmics. The good girl/bad girl, how the patriarcial society expects women to be vs how the main character choose to.

Sequels that are part of a series I enjoyed:

Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri 2nd Season- Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri

This is one of my favorite shonen anime (I don't have a lot of shonen in my faves), and well, one of the best I've watched recently. Mystery, supernetural and psychological (my holy trinity of genres)

Hibike! Euphonium 3- Hibike! Euphonium

The 3rd season was low-key disapointing but just imo, there were a lot of people who liked it, and it's only comparing to the previous two season, that are almost flawless to me. Still made me cry, tho.

Dude I am loving this finfolk au of yours with welcome home! I would love to know more, especially how someone might accidentally end up on the island. Like, does home just send puppets sometimes if they think they'd be a good addition or does Wally leave to play matchmaker if someone feels lonely? Is there an economy where they sell or interact with the mainland? And I wanna know more about how Howdy's poison works and hope to see his full finman form, kinda got a crush on him. Keep doing what you do!

Ehehehe- I decided to use Howdy for anatomy practice today since you like him so much, I'll definitely try to come up with a full form for him tomorrow or this week :)

But it's nice to hear more and more people enjoy this AU! (Anatomy notes and some sketches at the bottom if anyone is curious) I'll answer as much as I can for this ask. Right below this lovely picture.

Usually people don't just end up on the island of Home "by accident". Say that someone were to be on a ship and suddenly a storm forms out of nowhere, sinking what is left and the stranger is carried to Home by a strong current. It's no accident, but it's set up to look like one.

Wally, is usually the one to make storms way out there. He never explains it, but it's already a well known fact that Home probably told him to do this. If not storms though, one or two of the neighbors do leave for the mainland to retrieve the new neighbor. Whether it be by force or deception. Finfolk (much like in Orkney Folklore) are known for kidnapping and deception so it's no surprise that they usually go this route.

However, if a neighbor takes a liking to someone they may take their sweet time on mainland. Disguised as a whole other puppet (they are known to be shapeshifters), they would most likely butter up their darling until it's too late for them to realize what danger they're in. Off to Home they go!

Even if it seems random, there is always a reason why Home might send someone out to retrieve a new neighbor to add. No one will know what reason, but sometimes Wally is the one to set things up as well. And yes, sometimes he will play matchmaker, it makes him smile to see someone in love (even though most finfolk are just borderline obsessed with puppets on mainland). I guess you could call him Cupid The Fish Demon. "That person seemed so sweet...I think Howdy would love them. What do you think Home?"

There is surprisingly somewhat of an economy that they have on the mainland. Like I've stated before, this is a universe where just about any mythical/folklore creature exists. There would of course be a market for all things magical or purposeful. It's pretty much just Howdy on the Mainland that handles his own seafood restaurant, but usually he's away at Home or handling business with an underground potion shop. The restaurant is handled by trusted employees while he's gone (he's like an owner that checks in every once and a while, probably 3 times a month to make sure things are going smoothly).

The majority of his potions are made at Home, the only place he feels his work is safe at. The potions aren't like that of Wally's work or any of the neighbor's, instead he focuses on more deadlier concoctions. Need someone to go into a never ending sleep? He's got a potion for that. Need someone to get mysteriously sick and die over a long period of time? He's got you covered. Most of his ingredients come from exotic and unknown fish native only to the waters surrounding Home. Though sometimes he will use himself for some potions that are non-lethal.

His scales and fur are usually coated in a thin layer of a slick substance. It is a neurotoxin, affecting the nerves and causing a range of symptoms depending on how much is touched or consumed (usually it's worse if you consume it). Most common symptoms are tingling, numbness, burning sensations, paralysis and sometimes loss of consciousness (though it's short unless you really take in a lot of it). He usually uses this in potions that are meant as a sort of tranq or sedative. Some potions made for causing specifically paralysis (he uses other ingredients to make it last a long while.), sleeping death (sleeping, but it outwardly appears like the person is dead when they're not), severe pain, or a potion for a long and painful death.

No matter what he makes, Howdy is proficient in it. He prides himself in his work like no other.

Some Notes

I know it may sound boring to most, but the best way I did this was looking at muscles for a good 30 minutes and drawing out different shapes that look similar to each muscle. A lot of the muscles look like stretched out diamond shapes or oddly shaped pancakes stacked on top of each other. As for the arms, you can use the chain method on them even with Howdy, it's just at an angle.

You should practice on paper first, but if you are struggling with proportions then try it digitally. Select areas (like a limb) that might seem out of place and resize it until the proportions look okay. This way you can learn how to fix the proportions and later hopefully not need to resize anything in the future.

A note for drawing buff dudes is that the muscles tend to stack on each other like misshapen pancakes or balls of dough. It's not exactly an oval or diamond, but it's shape is stretchable and changing. As for the legs, Men tend to have very square-ish hips and more blocky looking thigh muscles.
