Walt is classified as "Goth (Casual)". He is wearing a simple gold stud in either ear. A simple gold choker is wrapped around part of his neck. There are a couple thin gold chains that hang below the choker, and a gold necklace with a golden ankh charm attached. On both wrists he has three gold bangles. He has on a plain black tanktop. His tank top is tucked into his dark gray jeans. He has two silver chains clipped to his belt that hand over his upper thigh. On the opposite thigh, he has a polyamorous flag button pin and bisexual pride flag button pin attached to his jeans. His jeans have a few small rips. Two of the rips are noticeable sewed with white thread. Skin is still visible beneath. His jeans are tucked into black boots.

Sadie is classified as "Punk". Her hair is light brown with blonde highlights. The portion of her hair that frames around her face is dyed red. Her tongue shows a simple gold stud piercing. She has on a black choker with silver spikes. She is also wearing a beaded wesekh (collar necklace). The beads are set in seven rows: gold on the first row and between the other colours, red on the second row, blue on the fourth row, and light blue on the sixth row.

She has on an unzipped gray jacket with an UK flag patch on the sleeve. On the front panel of her jacket are three button pins: a bisexual pride flag, a polyamorous flag, and a skeleton. Under her jacket she has a navy blue shirt with a white outline of Anubis printed on top. Her shirt is tucked into her black jeans. She is wearing black fingerless gloves, a gold ring on either hand, a spiked gray bracelet, and a gold bangle.

Like the boys, they are also strategically ripped. Four of the rips are similarly sewed with white thread, her skin still visible underneath. She has two silver chains clipped to her belt at one end and a blue carabiner at the other end. The carabiner are clipped to her belt. The chains hang over her upper thigh. A pink charm hangs from one of the chains. Her jeans are tucked into dark brown boots.

Piper is classified as "Anti-Fashion". She has two braids that frame her face. One braid has a red hair tie, the other braid has a blue hair tie. She's wearing a gray hoodie with three button pins: a rainbow pride flag, a bisexual pride flag and red button with unreadable black text. Under the hoodie is a green-gray shirt. Slung over her bicep is a pink backpack. It hangs precariously off her arm. She has her hand tucked into her pocket. Her arm is partly bent which helps stop the backpack from sliding off completely.

Her shirt is tucked into light blue jean shorts. The bottom edge of the shorts are frayed. She has on a brown belt. A pink carabiner is clipped to her belt with blue "K" charm hanging from it. There is a pink bandaid over her knee. She has on knee high socks pulled all the way up. The socks feature the colours of the bisexual flag repeatedly. She is wearing pink sneakers.

These three have definitely thought of a poly relationship but here’s why it didn’t work out

Ron would always be jealous

Ron and Harry wouldn’t take each other seriously

Harry would always be favored when it came to things in a way

Ron obviously loved Hermione more

Hermione would always get upset that the other two weren’t taking the relationship seriously

Sleeping Arrangements head canons post-war

After the war Hermione, Ron and Harry are supposed to go back to their regular sleeping arrangements. The first night they all finally get to bed in the Burrow, Hermione is put in to sleep with Ginny and Harry and Ron are in Ron’s room. 

Hermione and Harry wake up in the middle of the night with Hermione sneaking in and laying down next to Harry.

all three of them realise pretty quickly that they sleep better together - it’s not necessarily a romantic thing. They just got so used to it while living in the tent that it’s honestly weird not to. And it works well when they suffer from nightmares because the people who understand best in the world are right there when they wake up, arm slung over someone's middle, head on someone's chest

they move into Grimmauld place together so they can all share one bedroom for sleeping - it’s the best solution that won’t make Mrs Weasley uncomfortable and it gives them a pet project to work on by fixing up the house

when Hermione eventually starts dating both Ron and Pansy (with Ron and Pansy slowly getting to know one another to see if anything is there or if they just both want to date Hermione), Pansy is at first incredibly jealous of the arrangement - she doesn’t get why Potter has to sleep in the same bed as her girlfriend when they’re not together. 

so of course, she ends up playing matchmaker and trying to get Draco with Harry. Which works except, of course, Harry doesn’t stop sleeping in the bed and now Draco is jealous too

Eventually, though, they have a sit down like adults and talk about it, and Draco and Pansy accept that while it’ s not like that between their respective partners, they still deserve to be able to do what helps them sleep the most

Pansy sleeps in the big bed on the regular - though she refuses to sleep next to Harry because ‘he hogs the covers’ and they tend to both be the ones who take the longest to fall asleep AND the ones most likely to bicker

Draco takes a while longer to join - him, Ron and Hermione all have to sort out their shit. But after apologises and getting to know one another (admittedly for Harry and Pansy’s sake) he gets a little more confident and sleeps in the bed between Harry and Ron

which of course leads to much teasing when Draco wakes up one-morning cuddling Ron like an octopus instead of Harry

it’s not conventional - but it doesn’t have to be. It works for them all, and they’re happy, so what else matters?

Syndeamory:

Syndeamory: a form of amoryflux, gamyflux, and/or ambiamory where someone’s place on the monogamy-polyamory spectrum and/or type of nonmonogamous or polyamorous relationship(s) default to the orientations and prefferences of their partner(s).

Example: Stella is syndeamorous. Stella feels a sense of ambivalence towards relationship type until they are in one, at which point their orientation defaults to match their partner(s). If dating a monogamist, Stella would be a monogamist. If dating a nonmonogamist with a prefference for open relationships, Stella would share that prefference. If dating a polyamourous trio who wants their relationship to stay closed between the four of them, Stella would want the same. This does not mean that Stella has no standards or prefferences when it comes to who they’re dating, just that once they find the right person or people, they want what the relationship type that their partner(s) want.

Origin: Syndeamory comes from the greek σύνδεση or sýndesi, meaning connection, because syndeamorous people’s orientations are inherently connected to those of their partners.

Flag meaning: The syndeamory flag is based off of the polyamorous and monogamous flags. The black and white stripes at the top and bottom of the flag come from the monogamist flag. The black and white represent the two members of a monogamous relationship, and the set is repeated, both to illustrate that this is one of many possibilities, and to maintain a sense of symmetry to represent how a syndeamorous person’s orientation mirrors their partner(s). The blue and red stripes come from the polyamorous flag. Blue represents the openness and honesty among all partners in a polyamorous relationship, and red represents love and passion. The gray stripe represents the many possibilities that lie between monogamy and polyamory for a syndeamorous person. The greek letter, σ, or sigma is the first letter in the greek word, σύνδεση, or sýndesi, for which syndeamory was named. It’s golden color represents the value placed in relationships, and the gold stripes found around the flag represent how relationships are intertwined in every aspect of this identity.
