so i got a partner, work and school picked up, and abandoned public writing for a while (2ish years) lmao. no excuses, life happens, I'm sorry for anyone that requested things while i was gone. this started as a passion but turned a little sour after a while. so I'm just posting what i want i think? and i hope people like that enough. i really wanted to post something and break my streak though! i will never not love poly tamaki/mirio so here's a little nugget of a series i want to start

"You know where (Y/n) is? She was supposed to..." He peered around Tamaki's shoulder, eyes scanning over some clothes on the dark floor, "--Grab some beers."

Tamaki filled up a little more space in the doorway, leaning in an unnatural manner. His mind was scattered and he stumbled over many phrases. Mirio's heart pounded up to his ears.

"What?" He asked, sizing him up and tilting his head. He, too, leaned on the doorway, unafraid of getting close.

Tamaki spoke up, but remained unable to lie very well, "She's- yeah, she said she was gonna get them a while ago," He shook his head and was done babbling, eyes cast to the hardwood floors.

Mirio tilted his head down more, inches from his warm, partially sticky face.

They were speaking very quietly, but the tension was so thick you could cut the air with a knife.

"Yeah?" He tested, lifting his tone.

"Yeahh," Tamaki sighed with a small, sheepish glance forward.

"Yeah." Mirio sighed back, hand sliding off the door.

For a moment, he lingered, ears reddened with embarrassment and insecurity, and Tamaki's breath stilled for fear he would throw a punch, or a shove. But he knew where his jealousy had gotten him before, how pointless an argument would be, especially if his suspicions were somehow false.

"Okay, bud," He walked away with another disapproving glance, but Tamaki was so busy looking at his feet that he didn't see it.

Mirio didn't even try looking around after that. He went straight to the fridge, picked up 7 beers (5 for everyone else, 2 for himself), and joined the commotion outside once more.

He’s a force to be reckoned with even among the upper class

So if at his suggestion a certain student might be expelled or even drop out of the school because of bullying

If you even begin to suspect that Tamaki is behind any of this Haruhi will assure you there’s no way

Taking a page out of Kyoya’s book she’ll create some mad up reason as to why this is completely unrelated

Or when the classmate who confessed to you 

 was called away by Tamaki later on in the day 

And somehow ended up having drowned in the fountain

Haruhi will cite some other students who bullied them that must have gone too far

Though it’s not likely he’ll go that far normally

But sometimes love just makes you do crazy things

She won’t tell you about all his great traits 

Otherwise you’d notice far too fast

For so long she’s been pushing him away 

She can’t possibly stop now

Besides she kind of likes the hurt look he gives her when she writes him off

But she absolutely is willing to manipulate Tamaki, The Host club, Lobelia 

Anyone she needs to if it means spoiling you

She’ll harp on anyone’s desire to gain her favor by practically demanding they invite you too

But if you’re busy she’ll just try and bring home things you like

“Oi Tamaki.”

“Yes Haruhi?”

“Did you get my fancy tuna?”

“Yes of course I did!”

“And (Y/n)’s favorite food?”

“Yes how could I forget~”

“Good boy.”

Or she’ll convince the host club if they’re still fighting for her affections to practically smother you with attention

What better way to chase off confessors and make the host club look strange in your eyes

“But I thought Haruhi only loved (Y/n)?”

“....I’d be willing to be in a relationship with anyone who can care for (Y/n).”

That and he’s oh so great at schmoozing

Whether you’re into that or indifferent like Haruhi

Wouldn’t you like him too spoil you with fancy tuna too or whatever you like

But refusing won’t end well 

He’d much rather you try and get food or money from him than just outright refuse him

Without Haruhi’s intervention he’ll end up flying you to some island and moving you into another mansion of his

But thankfully Haruhi’s convinced him to at least let you live out your school years

But the duo are truly a force to be reckoned with

You won’t be getting away anytime soon

"I don't hate you, babe," He sighed and sat beside you in the bed. He pulled you from your depressive curl and laid your head against his chest, not caring for the mess of snot and tears that now covered his hoodie. "I left so we wouldn't fight over something like this. Neither of us would want to say something we regret later, hmm?" He stroked your hair gently and your tears slowly stopped flowing.

"I- I'm so sorry, 'Toshi," You sniffled. "I shouldn't have been so mean."

"You're fine, princess. Don't worry. I bought you some stuff," He replied with a casual shrug. He grabbed the bag from beside him and showed you the contents. Your favorite drink, food, snacks, and chocolates were all in there. "I also warmed your heated blanket up while we were arguing." He pulled said blanket from the foot of the bed where you hadn't even noticed it.

"You're too good for me," You sobbed as you stuffed your face with (F/S).

He sighed again and wrapped an arm around your shoulder, "Shhhh, pretty baby, it's okay."

He's tweaking out more than you especially if you raise your voice at him

You sobbed harder, "You're too good for me! Get out!" You sobbed loudly and shoved your face into your pillow as you clutched your stomach in pain.

"O-okay," Tamaki replied as he sadly left the room. As soon as he closed your door, he pulled out his phone and called Nejire. Twenty minutes later, he returned with MULTIPLE heated blankets, chicken wings, ibuprofen AND Tylenol, chocolate, and vitamins. "Hado-chan said a lot of things... so I got them all." He walked over to your bed humbly and hesitantly, worried you'd explode at him again.

You sniffled and gratefully pulled him into bed with you, embracing him tightly and apologizing profusely. "I love you so much, Tama."

He let out a breath of relief, "I'm glad. You- you're the love of my life."

"And you're mine," You said as you took the pain reliever he brought and started eating the wings.

This was something that was definately on my list to redo in Afterglow, but I had been putting off just down to the sheer amount of items that would need recolouring... but now my texture defaults are done, I may as well tackle my Nihongami style kit!

Ultimatley most of the information is the same as my Pooklet texture version. To save you downloading both versions, I've included all of the non-hair texture accessories in the zip, too. Remember to pick one mesh for the Long Yue bun, the original mesh, or the edited mesh that works better with the shimada hairstyle. The only new thing really is that I made a second alpha edit of the Rose hime bangs that are shorter than the original alpha, but they don't clash and you can have both. All hairpieces are in the five Afterglow naturals in seperate labelled packages. The original bodyshop previews have the details of the different mesh variations so here are those:

you can see in the banner preview that there's a lot of ways to arrange these together, and I have a few more on display in the original post! I was watching Blue Eye Samurai a while ago, and there's a lot of shimada inspiration there, the animators took care to give the characters varying shapes and styles, so the variety is really cool to see ^^

Then I made some recolours of the base hair, the Goze Traditional Shimada. @letomills has an odd ability to intuit what I want without even asking, and made an edited version of the mesh which works better with hairlines, which is really something that disspointed me with the original mesh, so those are the meshes included! I made 3 variations on the alpha; the first is the 'original' shimada; with the shibori and the tama kanzashi. This time I made the decision to edit out the odd coin shaped kanzashi as I can't say I'm entireley sure what it was ment to be, and it was just getting in the way of nice and authentic looking styles. I also added a shibori texture to the shibori because... why was there a shibori tie with no shibori in the first place? The second alpha is the flowers one, I made the same pink and blue versions as in Leto's edit. the last is my plain, no accessories shimada, which is just hair with no extra accessories to be layered with a variety of hairpieces or just worn by itself! Lastly I thought it'd be good to do the male hairstyle that Hriveresse converted from the same pack, so I fought the mapping of traditional sumo (and the mapping won, it's horrid) to accompany the F hairs. Shimada is 3638 poly, sumo is 4048, all versions come in the original Afterglow family binned into one package each, meshes in the zips, fully compressorized.

My Hero Academia Shipping in Fanfiction - Izuku Ships (2024 Edition)

Six years ago I started a [little project] ([2019], [2020], [2021], [2022] editions, i forgot to do 2023 until it was too late) to see what the fic numbers were for certain ships on Ao3 and Fanfiction.net, and today I wish to show this year's stats! The first time I only did seven characters, in 2019 I did eleven, in 2020 I did 15, in 2021 I did 20, in 2022 I did 24, and this year 27 (adding Monoma, Tamaki, and Mirio).

So now, to the specifics.

To do this, I basically looked at the numbers for tagged ships in the filter system each site has (which was a lot easier for FF.net than Ao3). I excluded poly, OC, and x reader ships as that would have questioned my sanity to track them all down. I also excluded any ships that fell below 1% or 0.5% (case by case basis) cause I didn’t wanna cite every ship that might have 1 fic in existence (this takes an entire day to gather the data as is).

Certain characters were unique in that their fic numbers being so high that certain ships got buried, so I split them into Combined and Heterosexual so you could see more. Izuku was the only case that required this on both Ao3 and FFnet, the rest this was only on Ao3.

Crossover fics on FFnet were excluded as they are not included with the main set of fics (though people still post crossovers on the main set anyways), which means I would need to do double the work for each ship. Luckily they are a small data set (less than 10%) and usually have cross shipping over in-universe more often than not.

Illegal ships (kid x adult) were also excluded for obvious reasons.

For the charts themselves: The number next to the title of each chart is the total number of fics used for the data set. Colors are probably inconsistent as I had to use a slider to choose them, which reset with each new data set. Also if two of the same colors I assigned to characters happened to be right next to one another, I chose one as black (which only came to conflict in once instance). And finally, I used my preferences for name spellings and using first or last names.

Now to the flaws.

FF.net has a much smaller pool to pull from (Ao3 has almost 12x more MHA fics) and is limited to only being able to tag two ships at a time for a fic. On the flip side, ships that are tagged are guaranteed to be a showcase in that story. While Ao3′s numbers are impressive the downside is that writers can tag to their heart’s content, so lots of fics that get tagged for a ship often have little to no presence in the fic (or is just harem wank nonsense).

So super accurate, this is not. Take the data with a grain of salt.
