"You know where (Y/n) is? She was supposed to..." He peered around Tamaki's shoulder, eyes scanning over some clothes on the dark floor, "--Grab some beers."

Tamaki filled up a little more space in the doorway, leaning in an unnatural manner. His mind was scattered and he stumbled over many phrases. Mirio's heart pounded up to his ears.

"What?" He asked, sizing him up and tilting his head. He, too, leaned on the doorway, unafraid of getting close.

Tamaki spoke up, but remained unable to lie very well, "She's- yeah, she said she was gonna get them a while ago," He shook his head and was done babbling, eyes cast to the hardwood floors.

Mirio tilted his head down more, inches from his warm, partially sticky face.

They were speaking very quietly, but the tension was so thick you could cut the air with a knife.

"Yeah?" He tested, lifting his tone.

"Yeahh," Tamaki sighed with a small, sheepish glance forward.

"Yeah." Mirio sighed back, hand sliding off the door.

For a moment, he lingered, ears reddened with embarrassment and insecurity, and Tamaki's breath stilled for fear he would throw a punch, or a shove. But he knew where his jealousy had gotten him before, how pointless an argument would be, especially if his suspicions were somehow false.

"Okay, bud," He walked away with another disapproving glance, but Tamaki was so busy looking at his feet that he didn't see it.

Mirio didn't even try looking around after that. He went straight to the fridge, picked up 7 beers (5 for everyone else, 2 for himself), and joined the commotion outside once more.

MHA trying to ask you out (Gone Wrong)

A/n: I decided to try an idea that just popped into my big bulky brain because yes! This features: Mirio, Tamaki, Shigaraki, Midoriya & Bakugo

Extra A/n: Requests are open, feel free to request anything!

TOGATA Mirio -

He first met you after the fight with Overhaul. You and a bunch of students with healing quirks rushed into the room. Right before he fainted from blood loss, he saw your face. You were beautiful even with the serious expression on your face. You watched in amazement as he rushed out of his hospital room to go see Sir Nighteye.

When he got back to UA, he was helping students train by using him as a civilian in need. While coming back into the school, he saw you at the window. You looked up, saw him and waved. He waved back while Nejire watched with a smirk.

"You like her, don't you?"

"I do."

"Wow! So forward Mirio! Are you gonna ask her out?"

He nods. The thing is you are the second person to ever make him nervous. Like extremely nervous. You had a somewhat serious personality. He's rarely seen you smile. That's his main goal!

"I'm going to ask her out tomorrow!"

When tomorrow came, Mirio was sweating so bad. Even Tamaki was frightened.

"Mirio, you could always wait another day."

"No, I'm gonna do it today!"

You were usually in the medical office alone since Recovery Girl said you were fully capable of doing so. You see his tall frame in the middle of the doorway and peer over. A single pink tulip in his shaking hand.

"Did your stitches open again?" You question, quickly standing from your chair.

"N-No. I'm fine Y/n."

You raise an eyebrow at him and then eye the tulip.

"I-I wanted to ask you something Y/n."

"Go on."

"Would you like to go on a date-"

All of a sudden, he goes through the floor and his clothing. When he reappears, he's bare, booty, butt naked! Now you're both flustered and in complete shock. You turn your back to him and let out a breath. He can see your shoulders moving slightly. Were you laughing? He couldn't help but smile when he heard your snort.

"I - I haven't laughed like that in a long time! But yes, I will go out with you Togata."

He hands you the tulip and smiles at you.

"I'm glad!"

"You're still naked Togata."

"Oh right..."

AMAJIKI Tamaki -

He always thought you were pretty; he's seen you around school sometimes. He was walking with Mirio and Neijire to go to Class 1-A when he saw you rushing to class. You gave him a small wave before continuing to your class. His face went red from the interaction.

"Someone caught your eye, Amajiki?" Neijire said, elbowing him softly in the arm.

He simply let out a groan and kept walking. During the representation of the Big 3, all he could think about was you. Even at lunch, he was just thinking of you and sighing. A confident person like yourself wouldn't want to be with him anyway.

"How about you just ask them Tamaki. It wouldn't hurt."

"It could."

"How about we all come with you to talk to her. We'll keep our distance."

He couldn't believe he agreed to those terms. He was extremely nervous already. Neijire found out your favorite flower and where you eat the most. He saw you talking to your friend outside, the sun making your skin and eyes glow like stars.

"Let's hurry Amajiki." She shoves a bouquet of [F/f]s into his hand and opens the door for him.

Soon your friend walks away and leaves you at the fountain. You mess with the water with your quirk. Amajiki approaches you nervously.

"Hey there, Amajiki! What's u-"

You catch sight of your favorite flowers and then Neijire in the background who was looking but quickly directed her attention back to Mirio.

"Are - Are those-" You couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the flowers. That's why Neijire was asking you those questions.

You take the flowers from Tamaki, accidentally brushing hands. Tamaki starts to fall backward into the fountain, but you use your quirk to gently cradle him with the water. You see Neijire and Mirio rush over to see what happened to Tamaki.

"He - He fainted. I can assume what he wanted to ask."

"And?" Neijire inquires, staring between you and Tamaki.

"I'll let him know whenever he wakes up. Will me answering directly make him faint again?"

"Probably..."

SHIGARAKI Tomura -

(Takes place right before the battle in season 7 :) )

You were the one that gave him a lot of things. Dare I say a purpose. You were All for One's right hand and helped Shigaraki get started. AFO ordered you to stay with him for the first couple of years and then come back to him to work. Shigaraki's feelings grew for you after he saw what you could do and offer. He invited you into the League of Villains, but you declined and explained why you couldn't join.

He blamed his 'father' for being such a pain in the ass. You'd came back once and only once talking about a certain kid that AFO wanted for his quirk. But he can finally see you, without his father taking you away from him. He could almost cry when he saw you.

"Y/n..."

You turn around and face your boss. The city was in ruins all around.

"Shigaraki."

He walks over to you and leans against a big piece of rubble.

"I wanted to ask you something, if we're both alive after this."

A loud blast of wind shoots through the sky and you both direct your attention there. It's the kid that he was after. He brings you in for a hug, resting his chin on your shoulder.

"Get as far away from the city as possible."

He shoots into the air and leaves you amongst the rubble.

"WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANTED TO ASK ME!?"

MIDORIYA Izuku -

As soon as Izuku saw you walking down the hallway to your next class, he gathered his courage to speak to you. He simply waves and you wave back as you walk over to him.

“Hey Izuku! What’s up?”

“Y/n, what class are you coming from?”

He looks you up and down, noticing the stains on your face and clothes.

“Oh, Hatsume blew something up again and I was trying to help her fix it. We’re both fine, thank goodness.”

He nods along and adds onto the conversation before asking you a question. At least trying to…

“Y/n…”

“Izuku…”

“Would - would you like to go-“

All of a sudden, he is gone in a flash. You frantically look around trying to find where he went. Iida snatched him up by his hero costume and bought him right in front of their classroom. He runs back up to you and looks at you while adjusting his glasses.

“We were talking Iida…”

“It’ll have to wait, you should get to class L/n.”

Iida runs back to class 1-A and drags Izuku inside. His face was very red. Even from far away you could see it.

BAKUGO Katsuki -

He really loved your quirk and you of course. He just didn’t know how to say it. He would stare at you a lot but turned and pretended to do something when you looked his way. To his friends, it was absolutely adorable how he was treating you.

He helped you during training and always shared some of his snacks with you. His friend group would watch in amazement, he was very territorial with his spicy chips and noodles. And they finally decided to confront him about it.

“Do you like L/n?”

“What are you trying to say?!”

“Why are you dodging my question?” Mina raised an eyebrow and smirked.

He simply scoffed and munched on his chips.

You entered the common area with a blanket wrapped around your shoulder. You said hello to everyone before sitting down next to Bakugo.

“I thought you were going to bed L/n.”

“I was but it’s so fucking cold in my room. I came out here to sit next to my personal heater.” You lean on Bakugo’s shoulder.

His friends whisper to each other before fake yawning and saying they were heading to their rooms. You say bye to them and huddle close to Bakugo.

Katsuki could feel his face heating up. He was unusually sweaty. He’s never sweated this bad before, only when in combat for his quirk.

“Y/n. Can I ask you something?”

“Mhm…” Your tired eyes looked into his red ones.

“I…I.” He looks at your lips and then back at your eyes. You’re smiling.

You’re both leaning in closer to each other and slowly closing your eyes. Then the door opens wide to reveal Deku. He came back from his run and his eyes widen when he sees the both of you.

“Uh… I’m gonna go.” He quickly speed walks to the hallway as Katsuki glares at him.

“Damned Deku…”

His eyes meet yours again and you both lean in again. You hear someone’s throat clear but ignore it and try to continue. Your eyes shoot open when you see Aizawa standing there, using his scarf to pull you both away from each other.

“It’s past curfew. Go to bed.”

REACTING TO GETTING A CALL THAT YOU WERE INJURED!

Should I start writing for the girls in UA? WARNING, ENGLISH IS NOT MY FIRST LANGUAGE, so I apologize for any mistakes!

Iida Tenya-

THE PACER?

THIS. MAN. The second he gets the call that you are hurt, whether it was while you were on hero duty or stuck as an innocent bystander, he’s right by your side holding your hand. Now, Iida is a very work involved person, so when he called his assistant to block his work hours for the next 42 hours, they were really surprised. But he’ll be at your beck n call, I mean, really this man will get you anything you want. You don’t even have to ask! Flowers, your favorite drink + snacks, he’ll also make sure you get a good hospital room. He’s also the type to pace the floor, with a book in his hand. (Make sure you answer all his ‘I love you’s’ because on the inside this man is panicking..)

Monoma Neito-

!THE YELLER!

As we ALL know, Monoma is very self involved so when he hears that you, his s/o, his love, his everything is hurt, he’ll try his best to help you. He would cancel or leave his hero shift for that day, wait for your health status, then decide if he’ll need to take anymore days off. But he try’s really hard to make you comfortable, and he tries to put himself in your position. He’s definitely the type to yell at your side kicks ( if you were a hero) or yell at the “hero” that was on call when the incident had happened. This man is definitely stressing!

Shinsou Hitoshi-

!THE CHAIR SITTER! (hehe..)

BOYYY. MM MM. I definitely feel like he’d fall asleep, and accidentally leave his phone somewhere, so while he was searching for it, one of the big tvs would be broadcasting an incident that occurred. And while the news agent was releasing who was hurt, your name was called out he would absolutely panic. Like I tell you he’d start running to every hospital, and med-tec center just to find you. But once he sees the condition you’re in his ‘dad mode’ would kick in. And he would remember all the talks Eri’s therapist gave him about staying calm when bad things happen. Definitely goes to the bathroom and stares at himself in the mirror. Kind of like a, embracing the situation at hand, type of thing. He’d sit by your side for as long as it takes to make sure you’re okay..

Kirishima Eijiro-

THE RUNNER

This man is a big gigantic teddy bear. He may seem intimidating to villains but all his fans know he’s a loving individual. So, when he was at a meet and greet and one of his fans started to yell at him “RED RIOT, RED RIOT, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT Y/N AND THE MAJOR INCIDENT?” He would immediately place his hands in a low-position, indicating to his crazed fans to please be quiet. It immediately became silent as he asked that person to repeat what they had said. The person repeated “Y/N? THEY WERE INJURED IN THAT INCIDENT ABOUT 4 MINUTES AGO!” everyone gasped, I mean they all love you two together so hearing that was a shock. After this he immediately drove to the local hospital, calling his gruffy pomeranian friend crying. Safe to say the second they allowed this man in your room he was all over you, showering you with love..

Tamaki Amajiki-

‘SOFT’ JITTERS

This boy is so baby coded, the second he heard y/n, his lover, was injured he immediately got in contact with the people that were with you. Suddenly all of his shaky-voice + body movements were eliminated. He was trying to hold things together once he heard how sever the incident was. And he would most likely call over his close friend Mirio. He, and Tamaki would stay over in your room, ordering food and chatting. Anything to help his best friend and his S/o. Mirio would also make sure the paparazzi were contained and away from the room. 

Mirio Togata-

THE NEGOTIATOR

Mirio is definitely the kind to pray. To whom? he doesn’t know. Whether it’s to the gods or to his ancestors. He’s known to be the person that cheers everyone up, including his friends, during stressful situations. However, once it comes to you, his walls break immediately. He needs to know you’re okay, he needs to hold your hand, telling you in a soft voice that ‘everything will be okay’. But the hospital staff workers must refuse any visitors, they really all feel bad for him, and YOU but you would have been really injured. He even tries to pull the ‘I’m the number 5 top hero” but once that doesn’t work he’ll definitely panic. (he always feels bad bringing up his ratings) - he was just really worried. but once your parents grant his access he’s all up in your grill, making sure you know he loves you with all his heart.

Denki Kaminari-

THE SHAKER

He’s all shaking when he hears you’re hurt, just like Tamaki Amajiki! But really he’d be in the waiting room, when a nurse comes out telling him he can come into the room. And once you tell him everything that had happened he’d immediately be on the phone calling people to deal with the situation. He’s definitely the type of person to jump into the bed with you and hop under the scratchy covers and crack jokes to make you laugh, in reality, hearing your laugh helps his anxiety.

Bakugou Katsuki-

‘ACTION’

MAN. MAN. MAN. He’d be forced by his publicist to dress into a tux and join Pro Hero Deku, for a convention. Of course, he and Izuku are close now but he’s getting agitated with all the flirty questions, flirty touching, and tightness of his dress shirt. He just can’t wait to come home to you. That being said, when a Secret Service agent comes to whisper that Y/N has been attacked protecting a child, he stands up so fast he also most flips the table. Luckily, Izuku caught it. He immediately had a cab called, half way in the process of loosening his tie, and taking off his suit jacket is when you called him. Telling him everything was okay but you were injured and trapped where you were. You had made him grit out a promise from a clenched jaw, that he would save the child first and not you. He made sure to bust into action, and placing you in the best hospital known to man.

Izuku Midoriya-

THE PUSHER

Izuku would most likely be on work hours when he caught news of you being hurt, and he would immediately stop everything. You’re his e. v. e. r. y. t. h. i. n. g. Like dead ass, he would be jumping building from building searching, and feeling for you. He’s immediately calling his publicists, asking them to make sure the media isn’t as obsessed with the incident at hand. When he leaves the hospital to get your favorite foods all media lines come in and surround him, asking him questions. He would repeat ‘Not comments at this time’ and ‘No answers at this moment’. He made sure he could take you home, creating a safe spot for you to have an “at home” hospital room. Man… he gets so jittery..

Tokoyami Fumikage-

THE YELL-STRESSOR

As he became a high end hero, he controlled dark shadow extremely well. There had been no slip-ups in 6 years. Well, that was until he got the message that you had been severely wounded, and you had just finished surgery headed to your room. Let’s just say he was livid, and so was dark shadow. How could they not contact before hand, he could have supported you, his love. But now, he can only assure you he’s there? You mean after the fact? When he arrived at the hospital he started to yell at the doctor, including his assistant for being incompetent. He’s usually quiet and keeps his words on the down-low, but after seeing you, he’ll definitely tear up. I’m sure dark shadow comes out himself to lay over you and sulk. (he loves you soo so so sooo much)

YOU GUYS!!! I really want to write a one shot on the Bakugou one, but I feel like it’s embarrassing if nobody requests it. I don’t know, anyways should I? Let me know. As always don’t be afraid to ask or give suggestions for whatever character in MHA you want.

Random thoughts with MHA men!

☁︎Lowkey just a heap of stupid ideas I had for different characters I thought were funny/ cute. Might extend on a few of these into longer fics if I find the time :) ☁︎Going back to finishing some requests after this! Sometimes read and can't process what I just read so might take a while to finish them all! Feel free to request but might be a bit slow at the moment, but I'll get through them when I can! ☁︎Not really any warnings other than swearing (Tried to keep it to a minimum but habit when I can't think of a fitting word)! Gn/ unspecified reader :))

╰┈➤ Katsuki Bakugo who follows a strict routine he set for himself to get the most out of the day, in bed by exactly 8:30. Yet he coincidently always happens to be awake when you try to sneak in and cuddle under the covers with him. Gets annoyed at you for "interfering" with his schedule, but he never lets himself fall asleep if he knows your planning to visit, even if at ridiculous hours of the night. ╰┈➤ Shoto Todoroki who lacks certain aspects of understanding when it comes to social cues, specifically the idea of personal space after you start dating. Will stand behind you breathing down your neck just wanting to be near you, not realising how odd it appears to anyone passing by. Similarly, will practically sit ON you instead of beside you, squeezing between you and anyone/anything so he can sit right beside you.

╰┈➤ Izuku Midoriya who often forgets or simply doesn't realise when his habit of rambling starts, sometimes scaring the shit out of you when he suddenly breaks the silence. Will need you to sometimes cover his mouth when out in public before he says something that would accidently make any sane person uncomfortable. Talked about murder out of context at least a few times and got y'all kicked out of somewhere </3

╰┈➤ Tenya Iida who understands the concept of money and it's overall value, but frankly doesn't care when it comes to you. Buys you awfully expensive items that reminds him of you/ thinks you'll like, hiding just how much he actually spent so you don't reject it (you know, you just don't have the heart to tell him.) Will gift you like it's only something small and beat himself up for not getting you something better (It cost more than what you make in 3 months). Prides himself on responsibility but it all falls out the window when about his decisions around you.

╰┈➤ Eijiro Kirishima who shows you off like some sort of deity, constantly praising anything and everything you do. Accidently degrades himself while praising you, saying how he doesn't deserve you (he's literally an angel :(( ). Will do anything for you, if you ask him or not, choosing to show just how much he loves you through his actions not just words. Tells you he loves you at least 5 times a day <3

╰┈➤ Neito Monoma who respects you even if you're in class 1a, never speaking poorly of you even when shitting on your class. Stops whenever you're nearby and starts acting all sweet like he wasn't badmouthing each of your classmates to their faces minutes prior. Another one who worships your every movement and the ground you walk on, but instead of degrading himself puts everyone else but the both of you down. (My favourite little menace)

╰┈➤ Hitoshi Shinsou who without fail whenever you're alone hands you some random ass cat inspired thing that reminded him of you. First it was a small succulent pot, next some really doped out looking cat plushie, then a little keychain of a black cat with a witches hat.. it just kept going. Gets you wondering how he manages to keep finding these objects, and how he always manages to have one when you see each other unplanned (He has a little hidden pocket where he stores the little strange trinkets) ╰┈➤ Rody Soul who sometimes activates his quirk, summoning Pino, at the most random hours of night. Will get woken up by your sudden screams, thinking you had a nightmare only for it to have been Pino scaring the shit out of you by sitting on your chest in the middle of the night and scrutinizing your very being (lovingly). Has been forced as a result to spend the next day begging for forgiveness for Pino's actions (He had a dream of you and she was just admiring you with the same level of affection as him, just hers a bit more creepy..)

╰┈➤ Mirio togata who even after years of practice with his quirk, happens to forget what activating it in normal clothes does. Has tried to phase through the ground to surprise you with his sudden appearance just to end up flashing you, both of you now sitting in embarrassment while your struggling to breathe through your laughter. Apologises before joining you in going along with your everyday life (It will happen again)

╰┈➤ Tamaki Amajiki who uses you as a form of protection, not from physical danger but from people trying to communicate with you both. Will hold your hand in his and stand right against your back, head often against yours or on your shoulder while he lets you talk for him as well as yourself. As soon as you finish, will drag you away to a more secluded area and embrace you with more confidence as a way of showing his appreciation for never complaining about his shying away from socialising.

╰┈➤ Giulio Gandini who chooses to not wear his eyepatch when you're both alone, trusting you in his most vulnerable form. Who is able to use his robotic eye as a camera, recording your interactions to preserve the memory. Often pulls up these moments on the screen of his prosthetic arm when you're apart, watching through them when he misses you. Moves certain ones to a USB and prints out photos to give you (some in lockets, some just as a copy to frame) leaving you confused on how he managed to get them. (I love him so much :(( lowkey the main reason I liked the 4th movie sm)

╰┈➤ Touya Todoroki/ Dabi who will only let you help when it comes to dyeing his hair (aka forces you when the black is washing out to help fix it up). Will sit on a random chair he dragged in or the edge of the bathtub while you touch up his roots, probably moves constantly unless you hold his head in place. Gets you to join him in the shower to help wash through it, being a little shit about it and smudging the dye on you so it'll stain.

╰┈➤ Tomura Shigaraki who refuses to touch you with all 5 of his fingers, even after he's confident in his abilities to control his quirk. Will always have a finger lifted from your body while he holds you in his embrace, wearing artist gloves when sleeping beside you just to be safe. I was sitting in the school courtyard, enjoying a rare moment of peace between classes, when I noticed Tamaki Amajiki standing a few feet away. He was fidgeting with the hem of his jacket, his gaze flickering between the ground and me. I had always admired Tamaki from afar—the way he carried himself with quiet strength, his incredible quirk, and his humble nature. But seeing him like this, so clearly nervous, made me curious.

"Hey, Tamaki," I greeted with a smile, trying to ease whatever was on his mind.

He looked up at me, his cheeks tinged with a light blush. "H-Hey, Y/N," he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

I patted the empty spot next to me, inviting him to sit down. He hesitated for a moment before slowly lowering himself onto the bench, keeping a respectful distance. I was standing by the school's entrance, waiting for the bell to ring, when I noticed Koji Koda quietly approaching. He always seemed so gentle, like he belonged more in a field of flowers than in a class of future heroes. I felt my heart skip a beat. "Sure, what is it?"

"I… find myself drawn to your presence, like a moth to the flame," he began, his words measured and deliberate. "You bring a lightness that contrasts with the shadows that often surround me. I… admire that."

The day had been unusually quiet, the kind of quiet that makes you feel like something unexpected is bound to happen. I was packing up my things after class, lost in my thoughts, when I noticed Mezo Shoji standing a few feet away from me. It was a typical afternoon at U.A. High, and I was making my way down the hall when I noticed Hanta Sero leaning casually against a locker. His usual laid-back smile was in place, but there was something different in his eyes—like he was up to something. I raised an eyebrow as I approached.

“Right, so I was thinking…” He paused, glancing away for a moment before locking eyes with me again. “Would you want to check it out with me? Like, this weekend? Just the two of us?” tenya iida

The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, and I gathered my things, ready to head home. As I reached the door of the classroom, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I saw Tenya Iida standing there, his usual serious expression slightly softened.

"Sure, what's up?" I asked, curious about what could be on his mind.

"I wanted to speak with you about something important," he said, his voice steady despite the nervousness I could sense beneath it.

I nodded, encouraging him to continue.

"I admire your dedication and the way you handle yourself in challenging situations," he said, his tone sincere. "You have a sense of responsibility that I respect greatly. Because of this, I’ve been thinking… perhaps we could spend more time together, outside of our usual school activities."

My heart skipped a beat as his words sank in. "Are you… asking me out, Tenya?" I asked, feeling a mix of surprise and excitement.

I was heading back to the dorms when I noticed a familiar sparkle out of the corner of my eye. Yuga Aoyama was standing by the fountain, his usual confident smile in place, and something about the way he was looking at me made my heart skip a beat.

"Ah, mon ami!" he called out, waving dramatically. "You shine as brightly as the sun today!"

I couldn’t help but smile at his usual flair. "Hey, Aoyama. What’s up?"

He sauntered over, hands behind his back, clearly hiding something. His eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and nervousness, which was unusual for him. "I’ve been meaning to ask you something, something très important."

My curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

With a flourish, Aoyama revealed a small, beautifully wrapped box from behind his back. "For you, mon étoile," he said, presenting it to me with a dazzling grin.

I took the box, feeling a little flustered. "What’s this for?"

"Open it and see," he encouraged, his eyes never leaving mine.

I carefully unwrapped the box, revealing a delicate silver necklace with a tiny star charm. It was simple yet elegant, just like him. My breath caught as I looked up at him, trying to process what this meant.

"Aoyama… it’s beautiful. But why…?"

He took a step closer, his usual bravado softened by a sincerity I hadn’t seen before. "Because, my dear, I think you and I… we could make the most magnifique couple. You bring light into my life, and I wish to do the same for you. Would you do me the honor of going out with me?" Hitoshi Shinso

I tried to ignore the way my heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. Shinsou and I had become closer over the past few months, sharing late-night study sessions and quiet conversations about everything and nothing. Still, I couldn't quite decipher the look in his eyes whenever he caught me staring. Was it curiosity? Or something more?

“Hey,” he said, pushing himself off the wall and walking toward me. His voice, low and smooth, sent a shiver down my spine. “Got a minute?”

“Of course,” I replied, trying to keep my voice steady as I smiled up at him. “What’s up?”

Shinsou hesitated, his usual confident demeanor faltering for a moment as he scratched the back of his neck. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to ask you,” he began, his eyes locking onto mine. “I’ve been thinking about it for a while, actually.”

I felt my breath catch, anticipation and nerves swirling in my chest. “What is it?”

I couldn't help but notice how bright the day seemed when Mirio Togata approached me after training. His ever-present smile made the sun seem a little less important, and I couldn't help but smile back as he waved enthusiastically.

"Hey there!" Mirio greeted me, his voice full of energy as usual. "How’s training been for you?"

I laughed a little, brushing some sweat off my forehead. "Tough, but you know how it is. How about you? Still making it look easy?"

Mirio chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I try, but you know, it’s not always as easy as it looks." There was a brief pause before he continued, his tone softening just a bit. "Actually, I’ve been meaning to ask you something."

I blinked, surprised by the sudden shift in his tone. "Yeah? What is it?"

Mirio took a deep breath, his smile never fading but his eyes showing a hint of nervousness. "I was wondering… would you like to go out with me sometime? Like, on a date?"

For a moment, I could hardly believe what I was hearing. Mirio, the ever-positive, ever-smiling hero, was asking me out? My heart skipped a beat, and I could feel my face heating up. "A date?" I repeated, just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

“Please don’t die on me!”

Tw: suicide. Reader death.

He shouted at your body. You’d given your all on the field. Using your quirk to defeat shigaraki had its drawbacks, one of them being your life. But you’d known this outcome from the very beginning. You’d known you were going to die before you even stepped onto the battlefield. You’d told few of your plan but the one person you couldn’t tell was your boyfriend. How are you to tell the love of your life that your blood shed would end in your death? You couldn’t. Your last words were now engrained into his brain.

“Thank you for allowing me to be the best hero I could be”

your shaky voice rung on the intercom. He didn’t think much of it until he saw your figure shoot into the sky your quirk blowing out of your body and your flesh scattering across the sky your blood dripping like rain. It was a sight he never imagined he’d be seeing. How could he? You were supposed to go out after this. Take off and live your lives as pro heroes together. But he saw that image crumble in front of him.

Here he was sobbing with you in his arms, limp and cold. He was yelling curses and begs but he knew you were gone. And he knew he couldn’t live without you.

The whole class had been shaken about your death no one could not think about you. Your dorm stayed the way it was. The last bowl you ate out of stayed in the sink. Your laundry was still soaking in the washing machine. No one could even think about touching what once was yours. All your lasts. It was heart breaking. But what was most heart breaking was seeing your boyfriend break in front of them. He took it the hardest. He didn’t eat drink shower he just layed on the floor of your room crying and holding a photo of the two of you at Christmas.

He couldn’t take this anymore he was pathetic. Pathetic without you atleast. How is he supposed to live with you? He couldn’t. So he didn’t.

Chapter one: Childhood

you came from an ok family, you’re parents had you young and struggled to keep you off the streets but they managed; and after sleepless nights and lots of hard work they had finally been able to move to Japan, a nice small house in a nice little neighborhood. 

You were excited, new home, new people, a new school! All the new friends you could make! It excited to no end. You were practically vibrating in the back of your parent’s small car, hands and face pressed to the window, smearing the glass as you waved to anyone who looked in your direction as you passed by. Including a bright faced green haired boy and a rowdy blonde who was excitedly punching the air while talking. 

When you finally arrived you excitedly grabbed as many of bags your little arms could carry before rushing into your new room and getting started on putting everything you could away.

after putting a few of your things away, you heard your parents call out for you. “[Name!] Our Neighbors are here to say hi! They have a few new friends for you!” 

you run as fast as your little legs could take you to the kitchen, and there you find two women with their son. You assume he’s about your age he though he is a bit bigger than you and other boys your age; he had dark hair that reached past his ears, bright red eyes, and a big sharp smile. “Hi! I’m Kirishima Ejiro!!” He excitedly yell to you not giving you a chance to speak before he threw himself onto you in a tight hug making you wheeze. 

“Ejiro, let her breathe.” One of the women said placing a hand on his shoulder making him step back his smile never leaving, you smiled back. 

Your friendship grew stronger and stronger, until the day he got his quirk. He didn’t like his quirk; it wasn’t cool, it wasn’t strong, it just wasn’t a ‘hero’s quirk’ and it broke his little heart; you tried to cheer him up the best you could about how you hadn’t even gotten yours yet but once you did no matter how uncool or flashy it was you’d still be his best friend and you would both become hero’s some day. But as time past and your quirk never came and Ejiro’s insecurities grew, days became darker and darker. 

Ejiro barely smiled anymore, his insecurities and jealousy grew and you were slowly being forgotten to the world. Quirkless. 

A nobody, that’s what you were to the world now. Even your parents started to treat you oddly; a Quirkless kid, the one thing a parent never wanted to have. But you tried not to let it get to you, you had a job to do. Being a hero, maybe not to the world… but you would be one to Ejiro. You listened to his pains and woes, where there when he fell and always lifted him back on his feet, you were “so manly” as Ejiro put it and he was going to be too. 

The two of you had each other, until you didn’t. As you entered middle school things changed, Ejiro and his Family were moving. His mothers had to move for work, and you had no idea if or when you would see him again. In all of your 11 years of living you’d never been so sad, letting him go. Saying goodbye;  frowning as one of his moms call to him to “get in the car.” Your best friend in the whole world was leaving, his sad eyes bore into you as his frown sinks even lower… you can’t remember the last time he smiled as bright as the day you two first met, and you couldn’t do anything about it.

And the days only grew darker. As you entered middle school the bullying became relentless… the words Quirkless was all you ever heard anymore. Worthless, Quirkless, loser. That seemed to be what everyone knew you as and when your parents split you had hit your lowest. 

Now living with your dad, he wasn’t really around. You’d learned how to live on your own, how to make pasta, how to pay rent, you learn the world doesn’t owe you anything. And you began to hate. No longer were you a happy little kid. You were tired, you were restless, and you longed for the light again. But without anyone you’d found it hard to do anything other than hate.

until you met someone like you, a green hair boy with doe eyes and a big heart.

okay okay but imagine crying in todoroki's arm's and he barely knows you.

you've known todoroki for years and you were even in the same class together but you never associated, you knew midoriya since middle school and were on friendly terms, especially after both deciding to become heroes, those friendly terms became even friendlier and he became one of your best friends.

during ua you both made other friends, midoriya had his own circle and so did you, he had people like iida and todoroki and tsuyu, while you became close with mina and katsuki and ejirou.

after ua you joined fatgum's agency and because of that you met tamaki. you never interacted before while you both were at ua. the more time you spent together you became an item of sorts, neither of you wanted to put a label on it because you were both to nervous to have that conversation. you thought it was a mutual silent understanding that it wasn't just sexual or a small crush, you assumed that he loved you like you loved him, you regret that very much. you were very naive in that aspect.

you were excited to see tamaki, even though you only saw him yesterday you still missed him but that excitement changed to a sinking feeling in the bottom of your stomach. you saw him with mirio, that in it's self isn't anything noteworthy but the way he was reacting...

all the warmth left your body. your 'boyfriend' is in love and it's not with you. you thought he was in love and he is but just not the way you thought.

you can't help crying.

later on that night you go to talk to tamaki trying not to jump to any conclusions but there isn't anything that he can say that convinces you otherwise, he says he likes you but he doesn't look at you, he says he doesn't like mirio but it's the least convincing thing you've ever heard.

you leave immediately after and you want to be comforted you want to feel safe. you know there are people you could go to but you don't want anyone else, you want izuku, you want him to tell you it's okay and you calm your breathing.

you knock of midoriya's door rather loudly and instead of izuku opening it it's todoroki instead, "oh if you're looking for midoriya he's still at the agency i'm just here to get my-" he finally takes you in properly and sees you, your eyes are puffy and your nose is stuffy, he can tell you're trying to breathe properly, "are you okay?"

you don't think of much when todoroki opens the door, you can't wait for midoriya or try and find someone else, sure you don't really know todoroki but a body is body. you throw yourself at him, sobbing violently and falling to the ground dragging him with you.

he's shocked, he doesn't know much about you just that you're close to midoriya and bakugou and he didn't expect you to randomly just hug him. yes, todoroki is a kind man but he is also reserved and quiet, you're not friends, so he finds it odd to seek such comfort like hugging someone who you barely know. feeling awkward of this gesture but mostly surprised he pats your back a couple times, he doesn't know how to comfort you, he doesn't know you and luckily you start filling in any silence as you start spewing words between shallow breathes and shaky voice.

it doesn't matter to you that this is todoroki, right now you just need to hold onto something, right now you just need to cry and to have someone tell you it's alright. "i've been dat-dating this guy for the last t-three months and it's been going well b-but it's not l-l-like it's official and-and-and he loves his best friend and-" you just keep going, it's barely understandable but he can just about make it all out.

the longer you tell your story the more comfortable he gets in the position he's in, now instead of patting your back he's got his arms wrapped loosely around your lower back, he doubts you could even feel the gesture but he does it anyway, he thinks that if you do it's more comforting and the more you talk he has a feeling that you are comfortable with someone touching you, he really should have worked that one out earlier straight after he opened the door though...

you're crying so much his shirt is getting wet and he hopes midoriya is back soon.
