For those of you stressing over the results of the election.... If Trump wins, we survived one 4 year term under the fascist wannabe dictator. We can survive another. There are safeguards in place to stop him from taking over entirely. It'll be a lot of work for whoever comes after him to undo... Biden spent his entire term undoing the evil that Trump put in place. 8 years straight of the bastard would have been a LOT harder to fix. At least, if he does manage to win, it's split. And the power-hungry pro-genocide wannabe dictator won't be able to run again. Whoever takes the place of president after him will likely have their work cut out for them undoing his evil... again... but, we survived once. We WILL survive again. And during his term, more voters will come of age to help overturn him in the future.

idk if i should explain to them that tiktok IS banned. it has been removed from the appstores, which is what the bill said it would do. the app will no longer receive updates, and tiktok gets updates very frequently. pretty soon, the app is going to start glitching and will eventually crash and be unusable. trump IS trying to get tiktok unbanned (he was the one who brought up the ban in the first place, but that was before he had a tiktok page of his own with 14.9 million followers. HYPOCRITE IN THE HOUSE) but that still feels shady to me ngl

If there's one thing I hate about the left is how shit we are at recruiting. We are seeing the most class solidarity we've seen in years but some of y'all wanna throw it away cuz the alleged shooter has some wack ass beliefs. I don't wanna sound like a centrist, but when the right wing takes initiative and reaches across the aisle, we need to grab their hands and not let go, because it's gonna be a long time till that happens again.

Another problem is our emphasis on language rather than action or desire. Many conservatives like socialist ideas, but don't associate them with socialism and hate the term because they've been conditioned to do so. Whenever they hear you say "socialism", they don't think of class solidarity and equality, they think of Stalin and the Berlin wall. This of course, doesn't go for rich educated assholes like Ben Shapiro, but most conservatives aren't rich in the first place. Moderates, liberals, libertarians, conservatives- these are all people you are going to have to learn to cooperate with and talk to if you want to actually recruit people. The right wing is great at recruiting because they know how to keep things simple and how to emotionally appeal to people. These are not inherently evil strategies, and we need to learn them properly.
