I will forever go back to the police station scene because simply nothing compares to the beginning of it all!! going from withholding to opening up, to carlos' firm 'stop just let me', to the improvised because it's too real eye contact moment that sealed the deal that this relationship is bound to start, to finally this — this teasing moment that was the absolute cherry on top!! Carlos smirking and teasing him bringing out a little smile from tk amidst everything while the sexy guitar intro of gold on the ceiling plays in the background at the end of the scene, setting the tone for what's to come!!!!

i myself am caught in a time loop of rewatching alfred & henrys meeting in the park and i just realised when alfred first looks up at henry after talking there's a Reaction™, a sudden averted gaze & a quick hitched breath and the only reasonable explanation i have is that henry looks SO PRETTY AND GOLDEN in that lighting with THAT suit that I too would be rendered breathless

can we just take a moment to appreciate this micro expression from ronen here, where you can see how TK's mind is reeling and his thoughts are spiraling in his head.. he wasn't fully present for a hot second.. and you can tell just from the rapid blinking and the eyebrow raise, the deep breath, the rapid change in expression.. ronen is so good when it comes down to those micro expressions, he does it with such nuance that conveys intricate details about certain emotions with just a single understated glance. i love watching him BEING tk, because he doesn't perform, he rather transforms and it's sublime!!

emotional support rewatching 1 x 03 police station scene and getting stuck on the progression of mr porcupine, im-a-bad-boy-please-believe-me tk strand.

tk has his hackles up as carlos gives him a dressing down BUT as soon as carlos says "you should talk to someone about why you felt compelled to do something so suicidal" you can see the way tk softens. his face softens, he blinks and his eyes get sad, he stops his sassy little nodding and his internal thought process seems to be reeling with the idea that damn, im hurting and this guy actually kind of...cares?

give in tk, this man is gonna love you forever
