Goro Akechi: The poorly executed frenemy.
So in Persona 5, there is a character that is introduced about half-way through the story and is so poorly executed in the sense that i have yet to hear anyone who was actually surprised about the twist that occurred after Palace six (belonging to Sae Nijima). It was something that could have had much better context and relevancy to the overall plot, but was instead made into an obvious kind of side plot that wasn’t given very much focus.
One of the first times we see Akechi at all is when he is being overly excited to help with the case of the Phantom Thieves with Sae, and then later at the Television Station. From the moment Akira/Ren and crew met this “Detective Prince” I could tell that he had a completely different aura that made him stand out among the other cast members. But in a different way from Persona 4′s Detective Prince, Naoto Shirogane. In that instance, Naoto stood out because she was introduced early, given bits of development across the story until we finally recruit her. She felt real, and was trying to achieve a goal that she set for herself across multiple years. But even then she gets disrespect by her superiors because of her determination about the string of murders in Inaba.
On the other hand, we just see Akechi getting fame as if its something we’re supposed to know and understand, with people praising him for voicing a few opinions towards the Phantom Thieves, both positive and negative. So to summarize, we have a seemingly happy-go-lucky, thought provoking character who is cherished for work and discoveries that we do not see personally. Its plain to see how he stands out from everyone else instead of seeming like another citizen or even someone who was visiting for the investigation. It’s unrealistic in my opinion and could’ve been fixed with a little more fine tuning.
Finally we’re at the main idea of this entire discussion which is how Akechi was written after Sae Nijima’s palace. Since we know just as much as the game told us until this point, it would be a good place to reveal the truth about the last party member. If the difference in character archetypes, outstanding move set, the idea of *someone* in the group being a traitor (which was said from the beginning. Huge misstep in my opinion), hints from earlier parts in the game (aka Morgana saying Pancakes), and even the fact that Goro was so intelligent he could handle any situation in Nijima’s palace, and finally being blackmailed to go to Nijima’s Palace all didn’t give it away. He was the traitor in the group. All these factors made it way too obvious for anyone else to be “ratting us out”.
It really is such a shame too. The premise of having someone who is working against your main goal as a group of Robin Hood type heroes could have brought up many different types of conflict and struggles between the characters. Since Akechi is so intuitive, maybe he would be the one too really press on the question of “what truly happens to people when we steal their hearts?”. Perhaps introducing him as a party member earlier in the story and reliving him of some personal trauma could have made things go smoother.
Akechi was a simple person who wanted to get revenge for the neglect that he was given as a child by his father: Shido. Trying to become one of the best prodigies in his field was a possible coping mechanism that allowed him to be good at something, and be loved by all. Despite that, it wasn’t enough for him because he still needed the respect of the one man who never acknowledged him for who he was. Not that any amount of popularity or glory would do him any good regardless as Shido later states that he was planning to rid himself of Akechi once the election is over.
Then there is the whole “Death of Akechi” scene during Shido’s Palace, where Goro figures out based on context clues that Akira/Ren is somehow still alive and operating as a Phantom Thief and trying to steal Shido’s Heart. A battle ensue’s showing he has the ability to switch his trickster persona Robin Hood to the more devious Loki and he is full of blood lust and seething with anger towards our main cast. The protagonist wins of course, but then he is no longer considered a valuable asset to his father’s grand plan and is “killed” (i use that term loosely because it was off-screen) by Shido’s own interpretation of what Akechi is. A cold blooded assassin. But we don’t feel remorse for Akechi. In this scenario he was just a good person turned wrong for reasons out his control. But it doesn’t excuse the actions that he himself committed.
As I said, i truly believe that trying to write Akechi as a earlier party member who received friendship (but not real “help”) could have been something to mask the obvious fact that he was working for a higher power. There could have been a palace dedicated to Goro that showed his twisted, but true perspective of his position and the people that surround him. A kingdom of his own ruling, where he is the hero that saves everyone from the Phantom Thieves and gets recognition from Masayoshi Shido. This idea comes from CrossPawGaming’s “How I would have CHANGED Goro’s story line”

jesterofinaba:
Even when met with all the evidence that this Naoto wasn’t from this world, Adachi could still feel himself trying to wrap his head around it. In theory, it’d make sense. He’d never been a fan of all that sci-fi stuff, but Naoto - his Naoto - had been, and he remembers something about there being infinite universes out there. If there were, well… it’d make sense that in one, he’d be the killer in the Inaba serial murderer case. He knows how easily it could have been him if Naoto weren’t there with him. Maybe this is a universe where they aren’t family, it had to be. That, or Adachi dropped Naoto back at the orphanage without a second thought on that rainy night all those years ago. Without someone to help him work and improve, to be a role model for… to try and help him see how the law should be upheld… he’d be in a much, much darker place.
He shakes his head. He can’t think these things right now.
Instead, he gives this other Naoto a once-over with a half-curious, a little panicked, but mostly scrutinzing gaze.
“…I knew you looked different. I’d assumed it was some kinda trick in the low light, but my gut told me that wasn’t it.” His good, old-fashioned Detective’s Intuition.
“I… okay. I’d rather not believe something as far-fetched as that without proof-” A thoughtful hand goes to his chin, the other in a fist that rests on his hip, “But I can’t exactly ask for that now, can I? Don’t expect you to have the case file on you or something.”
But there was one thing the Hierophant could do to test. Quickly, and hiding the screen from the view of this newcomer, he pulls out his phone - he’d finally gotten a smartphone at his Naoto’s insistence, though it was a clunky older model - and sends his daughter a quick message.
To [Shirogane-Adachi Naoto]: Hey, you still at home? -Dad
Wiping the droplets of rain off of the screen with his slacks, he puts the phone back in the pocket of his raincoat. This Naoto’s phone hadn’t chimed or buzzed at the text, and he could watch and wait for a reply, so that was some form of confirmation. Adachi would take all the information he could get at this point. There was a large part of him still worried about Naoto and what she thought of him, and he was silently fretting about what mood she was in if she was home.
But then this other Naoto asked about why she referred to her without any honorifics, and suggested they get out of the rain. Maybe Adachi’s theory about them not being family in this Killer Universe was holding water.
“Sure. Yeah. We need to get this sorted. We can’t do the station, some of the guys are still there. Junes is busy. There’s a back way to my place that should be pretty deserted, especially in this rain. We’ll do that.” And without waiting for a response, the Hierophant starts walking.
He caught that she was in the rain without any kind of protection from it, and his eyebrows furrow as he’s reminded of something similar with the Naoto of this world. He considers offering her his raincoat, but… this Naoto was convinced he was a murderer. She’d see it as a move.
“As for why I called you Naoto… this can’t be the same for your ‘world,’ judging by everything about you, but here…” He seems anxious to continue the conversation, pulling back the jacket with a hand and revealing his well-kept police badge at his hip as always. What he takes out of his pocket is a black leather wallet, and from the back he pulls out a slightly older photograph. He needed to have evidence for this argument, so he presents it to the other Naoto.
In it is a younger Adachi, not too much older than a teenager, wearing big glasses and an even bigger grin. There’s no scars on his face, but he is wearing a well-pressed and orderly street cop uniform. In his arms is what’s clearly Naoto - his Naoto - as a young girl, proudly wearing the uniform’s hat and giving an identical grin as Adachi. In the bottom corner there’s something jotted down about their names, a first day on the job, and the year 2006.
“…you’re my daughter.”
Placing observations anyone with half a brain could make into the evidence section that vouches for Adachi’s innocence is a bad move, yet she has no context for the ‘differences’ he’s referring to. If he initially believed her appearance to be a trick caused from the low light, then it implies this world’s Naoto looks similar to her. When combined with the lack of honorifics from earlier, it suggests that this world’s Adachi and Naoto are close in some capacity.
Is she his protégé here? She’d love to call it the only logical answer, but the gesture Adachi does is— That’s what she does when in thought. Not even the Adachi she knew did that to get under her skin. He brought a hand to his chin when in thought, but plenty of others do that. A hand on his hip? Never. So why is—
Are they closer than master and protégé? Is Adachi the kind of person to pick up a supposed student’s mannerisms? It’d have to mean they’re close, exceptionally close. Favored student?
She snaps out once Adachi says something about taking her to his place, then walks off, not waiting for her response. Shaking her head, she catches up to him, timing her steps to match his speed, all while making sure to offset her position so she’s not by his side. The last thing she needs is for anyone caught in the downpour to assume she’s anything like the Naoto Adachi is supposedly familiar with.
Adachi pulls his jacket back, giving Naoto a glimpse of the police badge by his side, something the other hadn’t done. He just shoved it somewhere in his pocket and pulled it out when necessary. Same with Dojima. While different, it’s not enough to sway her stance.
As if he read her thoughts, a photograph is presented to her, and Naoto moves closer to the man for closer examination. The image is worn around the edges, no doubt because of its home in his wallet. The Adachi captured here is young, appearing to be barely out of college. His police officer’s uniform is neat and tidy, already a far cry from the crooked red tie his future self would wear.
If it was a photograph of that Adachi.
The smile on his face is bright, and instead of the camera, it’s directed towards the young girl being held in his arms, her smile equally as bright, hell, even similar to his. That girl wearing an officer’s cap is none other than...
“...you’re my daughter.”
Her eyes widen.
Then land on the bottom corner.
Shirogane-Adachi.
She’s vaguely aware of the rushing in her ears and something pounding against her rib cage.
“H— How?” An eternity later, she’s finally able to eke out, “Wh—”
---
Rain reminds her of the Midnight Channel. It’s been dead for years, but every now and then, during a rainy midnight when she can’t sleep, Naoto stares at the turned off TV, waiting for the static yellow glow that never arrives. Like everything lately, it’s reliving and not. Maybe it’s just something that happens when you get older. There’s always something to worry about.
Like the vibrating phone. When on the wooden kitchen table, the noise it makes horrible. Catches her attention, but awful. An eyebrow raises after reading the message Dad sent seconds ago. Does he think she’ll wander around when it’s pouring like hell outside? Unless something happened on his way back?
To [Dad]: No I’m out in the rain
She waits five seconds before continuing.
To [Dad]: jk I’m still at home To [Dad]: I was going to return Granny’s nimono pot but not in this weather To [Dad]: Hurry up and come home or I’ll start dinner without you :^)
It’ll be fine. Not like he’ll show up at the door with a nasty surprise.

HERE COME AUTONOMOUS SELF DRIVING BUSES
It’s natural the world’s first fully autonomous self-driving bus would emerge from Finland. Finland, surprisingly, is frequently regarded as the ‘Silicon Country’ that gave the planet Nokia and virtually set the blueprint for mobile communications. Nokia began in Finland, as well as for over two grand decades before Apple launched the iPhone, Nokia was the conventional to conquer. Actually, there is a high likelihood that the first phone would be a Nokia (I understand mine was). Publish-2010 when Nokia saw a slowdown, and was acquired and dissolved by Microsoft, these engineers and designers moved onto bigger and things. The dissolution of Nokia saw an upswing of the likes of Rovio (Angry Wild birds), SuperCell (Clash of Clans), as well as Sensible 4, the organization that designed the program behind Gacha, the world’s first self-driving bus which was created to operate under any climate conditions. THE COLLABORATION Gacha was produced together with MUJI, which provided the look language for that bus. Courtesy a partnership facilitated by Helsinki Business Hub (which promotes collaboration between worldwide agencies and Finnish talent) MUJI, headed by Naoto Fukasawa, made contact with with Sensible 4, the brains behind the self-driving software. Since as soon as the 90s, Sensible 4 has worked on self-driving tech. Actually, they can tested a functioning self-driving Jeep in 1993, however the computers within it were just too large, there wasn't any spot for humans to sit down! The collaboration came into being as Sensible 4 started plotting methods to make trains and buses more autonomous and frictionless. The concept for any 10-person bus that may navigate any place in any weather was created and MUJI immediately leaped aboard to assist bring the vision to existence! The Look of the Autonomous Bus The name Gacha develops from a Japanese toy figurine frequently present in shops and malls across Japan. These Gachas could be in the massive toy-dispensing gumball machine and when you place the cash in and pressed a control button, the toy will come tumbling out, encased within an almost spherical container. This container, which housed an individual toy within it, grew to become MUJI’s inspiration for that Gacha, and also the name stuck around too. The Gacha’s dual-colored design is inspired through the toy container’s two-piece construction too. It provides a soft, filleted design that immediately seems friendly and welcoming, unlike the rigid style of autonomous buses, or even the aerodynamic style of trains. The soft form helps break barriers by not developing a strictly defined wall or perhaps a ceiling. The curved, almost womb-like form immediately enables so that it is regarded as friendly around the outdoors along with the inside… an element that’s essential, states Naoto Fukasawa, thinking about how daunting the possibilities of a self-driving vehicle might be. How big the automobile is ideal too, allowing 10 individuals to be sitting down as well as an additional 4 more and more people to face inside. The seating design is favorable to friendly conversation. Unlike most buses which have seats facing one way or individually designed seats arranged linearly, the Gacha includes a running bench from left to right. It requires inspiration in the seating of saunas, a Finnish heritage and tradition, encouraging individuals to sit in groups. Its dimensions are crucial too, based on Sensible 4’s Chief executive officer Harri Santamala. The Gacha’s small size (along with its top speed of 40mph) is ideal for small shuttle activities. Public transit is protected due to its speed, and assuming interest in the Gacha increases, municipalities can easily deploy more vehicles on the highway, instead of making bigger vehicles which are more accommodating. Lastly, the Gacha’s design is bilaterally symmetrical like a stroke of complete genius. Having a design that does not possess a back or front, Naoto states the Gacha can certainly operate in left-hands and right-hands driving countries. The headlamps and taillamps are built-into a running Brought strip round the waist from the vehicle, and a straightforward switch inside the software makes it possible for the headlamps and taillamps to change direction, allowing public transit to operate easily on any side from the road without requiring costly hardware/build changes. The entire lack of a motorists cockpit or controls means the insides are totally bilaterally symmetrical too, in the benches lower towards the in-bus displays. We've Got The Autonomous Technology Sensible 4 has worked on autonomous driving tech for virtually 3 decades. Using the Gacha, the organization finally sees self-driving vehicles really making their method to roads around them. How's Gacha not the same as other self-driving vehicles all over the world? It’s the very first self-driving vehicle made to operate in practically any the weather. Finland, apart from fostering a remarkably gifted tech community (not only is it among the 3 countries on the planet to curently have legislation in position for self-driving automobiles) offers the right testing ground for self-driving cars, given its weather diversity. Far from the sunny plains of Bay Area, Finland turns out to be an entire obstacle course for that Gacha. It sees snow, rain, sun, hail, fog, and also the roads are frequently difficult to travel through, simply because they might be snowed in, frozen and icy, or simply plain uneven in suburban areas. Sensible 4 has labored lengthy and difficult to build up an automobile that may not just sense roads and obstacles, but perform its tasks in inclement weather. The Gacha, outfitted with a multitude of sensors, cameras, and mapping systems, can traverse dense fog, heavy snow, as well as torrential rain having to break a sweat. It may travel through roads utilizing an on board GPS navigation along with a map, sense traffic and signs/signals to visit in compliance using the law, stopping at red lights, zebra crossings, or perhaps when there’s a hurdle in the path. Within the snow, the Gacha knows wherever speed breakers are, using a mix of radar, lidar, and sonar, and it is intelligent AI may even pre-plan alternate routes if roads are closed, unsafe, or perhaps crowded. Phone way Gacha captures and procedures its surroundings The Gacha, ultimately, is built to be considered a autonomous passenger bus. Consider an Uber Pool in excess of 4 people. It may operate inside the city in addition to suburbs, obtaining individuals who summon it and preparing its routes based when needed, using Sensible 4’s advanced algorithms. Instead of getting a set route just like a public autonomous bus, the Gacha could make diversions to get individuals who will need to go to particular destinations, with its 100km range and 6-hour battery existence, can complete multiple runs before retiring to some nearby charging station for any quick recharge. The Exam for the Autonomous Bus RIDE Public transit was unveiled around the eighth of March towards the public of Helsinki, having a flag removed from the deputy mayor from the city. It'd snowed yesterday, and for that reason, the roads were slushy and slippery, and that i remember everybody complaining about how exactly miserable the elements was, as the Gacha team had just the opposite reaction! These were more than pleased to show the self-driving autonomous bus in undesirable weather and driving conditions. Unveiled at Helsinki’s recently built central library, the Oodi, the Gacha is made they are driving inside a cordoned off position for the general public, such as the press. Walking in to the Gacha, I instantly appreciated registering two reactions. My thoughts understood just what a problem it was, to become sitting in the vehicle which was operating by itself, with simply no instructions or controls from the present human… but simultaneously, it felt as an incredibly familiar experience. The thing is, we’re accustomed to something quite similar having a subway or perhaps a train. You do not always begin to see the driver from the teach you sit in. You simply go into the compartment and stand there aimlessly understanding that the automobile will complete its journey along with you within it, as well as your only job is to buy off at the stop. That’s exactly what the Gacha felt like too, and it is an amazing win for that industry since it immediately helps remove any fear the general public might have with self-driving cars. Practically how big a sizable cable vehicle, the Gacha moved around by itself when i, plus a number of journalists, sitting inside, attempting to register just what a problem it was. There is immediately a feeling of belief within the autonomous bus, and that i doubt a vehicle might have the very same feeling because individuals are utilized to driving their very own cars, however with a bus, you’re usually always a passenger. The Gacha understood wherever to prevent, when you should as well as for how lengthy to spread out its sliding doorways, so when to embark. It completed a circular journey around a clear plot outdoors the Oodi library, and plotted the very same path without worrying about lanes, lines, or perhaps a roadway. It stopped whenever a pedestrian became of compare into it, and started immediately when the coast was obvious. The Brought strip round the Gacha did a outstanding job of letting people know precisely if this would stop, if this was awaiting boarding, so when it would depart. In each and every which way, the Gacha did just what it guaranteed to complete, using the intuition of the human driver, knowing exactly when and where to proceed. The Autonomous Long Run The Gacha might be able to receive from point One place to another by itself, however it still provides extensive obstacles to mix. To begin with, Sensible 4 is delivering public transit (its only prototype as of this moment) towards the northern laplands of Finland to function under snowy conditions. They will gather all of the necessary data to help make the Gacha are more effective with lesser friction, regardless of weather. In addition, there's a significant conversation around the existence of self-driving automobiles according to the risks of we've got the technology. The immediate fear is losing jobs, however in any evolving society, old jobs die to provide birth to brand new ones. The deputy mayor of Helsinki believes the Gacha can create new jobs by using it. The 2nd most significant fear may be the protocol within an undesirable situation as an accident or perhaps a calamity. As the Gacha is heavily enhanced and speed-restricted to avoid moving accidents, still it remains determined exactly what the autonomous bus is going to do in case of one. Unlike humans who may flee a scene, the Gacha must be a lot more accountable and responsible, whilst being responsible for anyone there. Because of the Gacha’s 2021 debut date, we might finally obtain a clearer picture from the safety protocols of self-driving vehicles. As the Gacha continues its year-lengthy test run within the town of Espoo, Sensible 4 is given the job of locating a hardware/manufacturing partner for that vehicle. Using the technology and design in position, the organization wishes to have governments of metropolitan areas and municipalities invite it to explore the general public transit system. The Gacha also provides extensive possibilities outdoors trains and autonomous buses. Having the ability to act as a logistics vehicle, or perhaps moving retail store just like a grocery, or possibly a MUJI shop (!) on wheels, the Gacha can don many hats, serving not only local governments and municipalities, but corporations. Ultimately, the truth that the Gacha is able to travel with any type of weather with no need of a person, really enables the automobile to seamlessly integrate into a number of countries, cultures, societies, campuses, as well as companies. Made to just be an automobile which will reliably receive from point A to suggest B with no glitch, problem, or fuss, the Gacha includes a universal outlook and appeal that appears lightyears in front of it is time! Kimi no na wa x Persona 4/5
I am trash with my trashy ships and trashier headcanons someone stop me plz Continuation of my previous post -When do the mind swaps occur? During P4 for Rise's timeline (maybe Naoto's rescue mission?) and During P5 for Ann's timeline (3rd palace? or later but preferably 3rd) -is there a "Rise is dead" timeline? Yes. The timeline where Rise is dead gets overwritten though (similarly but different to KnnW) which is why to everyone in P5 Rise's poster at the station has "always been there" -how do they each deal with hiding their personae "changing" "Ann" volunteers to stay in the second party while exploring the palace on switching days. "Rise" makes excuses about being busy and asks if Teddie can be the navigator that day -do their teammates realize something is off? OBVIOUSLY this is persona we're talking about... The investigation team try to question "Rise" but she is very good at avoiding them on switching days--- probably because they're trying to find her where Rise would go, but it's Ann they're chasing soooooo XD it's the avoiding that's making them more suspicious though lol. The Phantom Thieves are just kinda like "We gotta deal with Kaneshiro*... she's not upset or anything so let's just leave her be. She'll tell us when she's ready" because "Ann" is super bubbly and stuff so it's odd but not necessarily a bad thing... they think? *whatever palace boss they're dealing with at the time -Why wouldn't Ann recognize Rise immediately when they switch bodies? Because Ann is originally in the "Rise's dead" timeline. She probably briefly remembers Risette from when she was in middle school but it's been years since Rise died and when switching bodies she's probably not going to automatically remember a dead idol she may not have even been a fan of. The switching bodies thing is weird enough thank you. But honestly she probably has an odd feeling of dejavu when she looks in the mirror and sees Rise's face but doesn't know where she has seen her before. -Do they have any habits that annoy the other Yesss Rise needs her coffee in the morning. It has to be super dark and bitter with no added ANYTHING or else she's a grump for the rest of the day. And if she's having a stressful day she'll keep drinking coffee the entire day--- aka every time they switch Rise ends up stressing out and ends up drinking enough coffee that she might as well drag an IV around with coffee in it lol Ann hates this because when they switch back she'll be all jittery and sometimes the coffee after taste will still be there when she wakes up and no amount of mouth wash will get rid of it. Ann likes coffee but she has to put lots of sugar and cream in it to the point that it's not really coffee anymore cuz there's no bitterness... (When they meet in person and start dating Ann is constantly telling Rise to go brush her teeth because no way are they kissing when Rise has extreme coffee breath. Rise kisses her anyway because fuck that) When Ann is in Rise's body she eats all of the sweets in Inaba if possible. Rise is [i]livid[/i] because Ann may be able to eat junk and not gain anything but Rise has to work out to maintain her figure thank you very much. (Ann is constantly taking selfies of "herself" while eating these sweets to chronicle what she's eaten that day though, and Rise kinda finds it adorable even tho Ann is in her body and it's kinda weird to see Ann being cute as her) When Rise brings Ann to Inaba for the first time (they still don't remember yet) to try the local sweets Ann is just kinda like "Why is this so familiar-- I've never been to Inaba..." (technically she has but she doesn't count that because she just kinda wandered the outskirts and she can't remember why she did sooo) -Habits they both end up having because of the mind swapping? It starts with Rise writing a sticky note and falling asleep with it on her face. Ann wakes up to "Seriously stop eating so much cake I'm gaining weight this isn't fun >___>" Ann replies back with sticky notes covering Rise's mirror completely that just all say "NO >;D" on them. Then they start a sticky note war that lasts a week or two. Rise's grandma is very confused lol. Once their war ends they will each write little "good morning <3" s to each other or "I made you lunch last night <3" When they meet again in person they still leave sticky notes for each other--- even before they regain their memory of each other--- They have no idea how they started doing this but it's familiar to them both. -When do they start to suspect there's more to the body switching and who notices first? Rise notices almost immediately that the technology level is a little bit too sophisticated for her time. (She just was in Tokyo a couple months ago there's no way it's changed this quickly) but doesn't want to consider maybe something else is going on because she's caught up in hiding her true identity as NOT ANN from the Phantom Thieves--- plus time travel and body swapping at the same time? Ridiculous there's no way--- Ann doesn't notice right away since Inaba is known for being a country-bumpkin kinda place where technology is like a decade behind. One day she tries to search herself on facebook though and--- oh shit thats her in middle school wtf. When she's back in her own body she searches Rise on facebook and finally makes the connection between Rise and Risette.... and finds out that Rise is dead... -How Rise died? I'm still a bit unsure on that. Right now I'm thinking that she was going to take the train back to Tokyo for the weekend to speak with Inoue about restarting her career--- then there is a huge train collision due to Japan's department of Transportation being lazy about stuff (P5 reference lol)---- and no one survives the crash.... There's a memorial at the site of the crash, which is within walking/driving distance of Inaba. All the victims names were written on an epitaph there, which Ann will visits to make sense of Rise having been dead for years already. -How does Ann reset the timeline? I'm still REALLY UNSURE ABOUT THIS ONE ☝️ Mostly because the way Rise dies is kinda still iffy for me.... but also because how the hell is Ann going to stop a train if I keep it as the method of death? Obviously Ann has to recruit Yu and the rest of the investigation team because that girl needs back up on this. The investigation team have complete faith in her because they know that Rise has good intuition--- and they still think she's Rise, even if she's been acting odd lately. When Ann switches to Rise so she can stop the train (or w/e it is), Rise ends up at the memorial in Ann's body. And she's just like; "Oh. Well I guess that explains a lot" - Does the sunset/twilight scene from KnnW happen with the girls in this AU? YES BECAUSE IM NOT ORIGINAL TT-TT ALSO BECAUSE I CAN IMAGINE RISE REALIZING SHE CANT REMEMBER ANN'S NAME AND JUST OPENING UP HER HAND AND SEEING "I LOVE YOU" AND JUST LOOSING HER COMPOSURE COMPLETELY And the rest of the investigation team are just so confused like "Rise we just saved hundreds of people why are you crying?" -How do they meet again? I'm kinda on the fence on if it would be like the end of KnnW or if they end up working together for a photo shoot or something and start hanging out afterwards... both could work very well but I'm leaning towards the original KnnW way because it's cute and the photo shoot one would just be the two of them being like "omg she's hot... and kinda familiar wtf?" -What do their friends think of their relationship? "You two are cute together but holy fuck do you move fast are you sure you don't need to slow down?!?" These two are like the definition of U-hauling with Rise finding herself staying at Ann's house almost every night within a week of knowing her (They're not having sex yet, let alone dating--- I just mean they're extremely domestic w/ each other and everything's just-- so comfortable?) Like Rise wakes up to Ann cooking breakfast one morning and is just like "Wow she's so amazing! I could spend the rest of my life with her" and then she has to backtrack that thought like "We aren't even dating where did that even come from?" And their friends are supportive but also like "You two need to slow down you act like you're already married" Surprise they've been kinda sorta dating since Rise was a first year in high school XDD ---- Gdhsiqnxosnsoakyxahabhss GDI WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?!? THIS IS THE MOST DETAILED AU IVE MADE IN A WHILE AND ITS A XOVER CRACK SHIP--- I SPENT AN HOUR WRITING THIS I MAY BE IN TOO DEEP
