Mingjue strikes me as the type of guy to not offer up information about his sexuality/sex life in general but also doesn't consider it something to hide (and just doesn't care enough to.) Partly because he thinks it's stupid that people think it's their business at all and partly because he doesn't see it as shameful. He's got so much other shit going on and he's not gonna live forever, he's definitely not wasting time on worrying what Sect Leader Yao thinks of who he invites into his bed.

But people see him speaking out against Jin Guangshan's degeneration and the general Jin Vibe of opulence and indulgence, they assume that means he classes all """deviant""" sexuality in that category, and his reputation as being so rule and honor code abiding they assume he will agree as passionately with all of society's mores (re: homosexual encounters) and just assume he's strictly straight and discount any rumors that he isn't.

'Sleep with a man? Chifeng-zun? You must be joking.'

Meanwhile Mingjue is like, 'What? Yeah, we did. Can we get back to what we were doing, now? I couldn't give less of a shit and you're wasting my time.'

And still people would be like, 'Man, I don't know where these rumors are coming from!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯'

this is a more meta and kind of critical take, but i feel like thor (the character) is quite uncanny sometimes.

like, there's the vampire thing of cold, uncanny, inhuman beauty - and how we're expected to believe that thor's shrinkwrapped abs are his everyday appearance, when that basically isn't biologically possible, and would probably be indicative of a severe eating disorder even if it was.

and then there's also the fact that thor commits so many extreme acts of violence, but we never get to see the blood and gore. his weapon is a HAMMER. he is smashing open people's SKULLS. where is the blood, the brains, the fragmented bone? how are his hands so unnaturally clean?

and then there's his near invulnerability. his plot armour, his cursed immortality, his unshakeable ability to survive, even as the sole survivor. he should be dead many times over by now. and yet. and yet.

Hahahahhaha i would like to stop needing to go to the doctorrrrrrr hahahahahha i may have an ulcer (no idea why) cause im probably internally bleeding (aaaaaaaahahahhaa also no idea why) anyway i wish my body would pull itself togetherrrrrrrrrr and stop making me go through more stufffffff

#rant #my health issues #anyway my iron blood saturation level so low my doc thinks im internally bleedimg and ulcer was compatible w my pain symptoms #so im on medicine for it. but omeraprezole makes my iron supplements not absorb. plus i cant take enough iron anywayyyy #cause i got gi issues Already which dont tolerate iron supplements #anyway im dizzy as FUCK and if i gotta go to the ER this year or next year im gonna be really disappointed #i just want to be able to do my fucking hobbies and work and have a lil energy to see my friends #u know. basic ass shit #i dont wanna die. but on the flip side if my body wants to die i wish itd just do sometjing real drastic and quick #so it doesnt include months of misery #my bodys been trying to physically kill me TOO LONG #i keep telling it i wanna be alive. so id like it to get on the same page as me. it keeps not caring

Look, I didn't want to be that person, but I hate, hate, HATE, the new animation style of Lego Monkie kid. Now you could never make me hate the animators. Never hate on the animators. They are underpaid, underappreciated and most importantly overworked. I repeat, do not blame the animators. Who I do blame, is whoever made the decision to switch studios because the new one was cheaper. F**k them. I hope they step on lego.
